Arashi was annoyed by the swiftness of the canine, but was not unprepared for the beasts agility. He was not so foolish as to think a d was slow, especially one so magically charged as this one. When the beast dodged the blow aimed at him he was prepared for a counter, and when came he rolled, flipping backwards and out of the way of the vicious swing. He landed and started preparing quickly to leap forward again, but stopped when the world of flames became instead a horde of creatures he dared not attempt to recognize. All he knew was this groups was intent to kill him. He looked around, counting the prowlers as he did so. He gathered that the gathering chaos beasts were numbered far too high for him to kiill without worry of attack from the dog.
Run Arashi.
Arashi disliked the thought, and as he watched the beasts ready themselves he felt annoyance at her suggestion. He had the dancing blood that was fighting the flames free now, and in response to the summoning of the flame beasts Arashi lifted his hands. The mass of flowing blood rose around the area and shaded the battlefield in a crimson filter. Arashi mustered his energy and formulated his onslaught when the fatigue that had been building struck him. His mind was assaulted with a pain unlike any before and he realized his weakened state. He remembered the amount of energy he had used to fight the first three but wasn't sure why he was so tired from just that.
You went berserk and let your power flow freely, Arashi you had a damned magic battle with a fucking sprite... you should be plenty tired. Not to mention the weird skin thing you're stuck in... using magic in odd ways you don't practice usually has a harsh side effect.
With the chaotic cloud of blood flowing overhead a whip of blood flashed downward, cracking against the ground like lightning and leaving a deep hole in it's wake. Arashi felt his body tremble, he winced at the pain of his bruised and sore muscles.
Did i get hit by a truck or something?
No but you dove into one...
Arashi understood then that he was beyond his limits and back, he must have been pushing it to lose himself to his power. Arashi unleashed his attack then, the massive floating pool of blood crashed along like a thunderstorm, lashing out at everything in reach as he swung the body of chaos at the dog. The force behind the blood cloud was such that anything in front of it would likely be flattened and it's magical surge of energy would be enough to dismantle even a sprite for a good while. the army of odd beasts were trapped in the maelstrom and annihilated.
You might have went overboard..
Arashi fell to his knees and began reaching for the hole in this realm that tied it through the realm of gates and to his home. He struggled for breathe and felt pangs of soreness all over himself. It had been the first time he'd used so much magical energy and exerted so much force in a battle. He realized then just how inexperienced he really was. He had never had a fight that lasted past his first serious attack, let alone one with a being like that canine.
Hurry up before that crazy blood storm of yours subsides.
I'm trying, I'm trying. that law seal is lingering... I can't get a hold of it. It takes precision...it's harder when your magic is still half fritzed out.
The blood he'd hurtled into action ran out of power and the chaos it was fueled by dried out. The blood faded into nothingness without the chaos to sustain it's existence. Arashi grasped the tie that connected him to the next destination and pulled at the thread as he watched his blood vanish.
That will never cease to scare me...
Agreed...
Arashi fell into the portal he created for his transport and was gone.
