Rajah couldn't help but to giggle a little bit.
"I see," he said with a nod of his head. "You wish to be on the defensive today. Very well, then."
The eager Tora-jin stretched his neck before twirling the blades in his paws. Once finished, he began running along the river toward Zeshin with his blades settled on the left side of his body. Once he became close enough to strike, he did so in a 360 degree twirl with bent legs so that he could aim for the boy's waistline.
Rajah hoped that Zeshin knew that this was a friendly sparring match. He hoped that he didn't take any possible successful blows personal, as if he were trying to hit him with the intention of killing him. He also hoped that an explanation like this wouldn't be necessary, because he would be too busy either blocking or countering as well. He knew that Issac would know better than either of them, but Rajah had grown to like the boy. If it were up to him, he would make sure that not a hair on his head was ever harmed.
But this was what Zeshin asked for. And who was Rajah to deny him what he felt he needed to grow?

Sliding his foot across the ground, Zeshin could feel the soft earth under his feet as he widened his stance to compensate for the movements he prepared to make, taking notice of Rajah's attacks, his blues eyes darting back and forth. The 360 degree Rajah made, as surprisingly fast as he was, seemed a bit off balanced to Zeshin, his crouching legs restricting his movement only a bit, Zeshin swung the flat edge of his bastard sword downward, in a 180 degree arc to both protect his midsection from the slashes of the katars, as well as to make a roundabout turn, bringing the blade back up in a mirror position, slashing widely straight across, then proceeding to step forward a meager amount to raise his hands above his head, coming down with a powerful cleave.
At this point, all his attacks had been counteroffensive and conservative, having yet to press the true offensive, conserving his strength and speed for when he really needed him. His daily training had shown itself to be very beneficial, his movements were fluid and on their mark, his steps careful, and his stance firmly planted, grounding himself and drawing his momentum from the Earth to give himself a small boost of power to bridge what he saw as a gap in strength between he and Rajah.

Issac watched the exchange in glances, and the subtle beginning of this session between the Rajah and Zeshin, impressed by Zeshin sudden change in tactics, deciding to not initiate the aggression this time, recognizing that Rajah would have expected as much. "So my words are actually capable of reaching through that thick, flame filled head of his." Issac said to himself, and watching stoically, remaining silent from afar. Zeshin's careful footwork coupled with the taking incentive as far as recognizing that counterattacking wasn't being overtly offensive was a nice touch but it was going to take more than that to certify the boy as ready to properly trained. "Furball's got some nice blade work there, must use them as garden sheers most of the time though, given his attitude."
