[This thread is the beginning of what will go on to be known as the 'Enemies of State' Arc, involving the factions of both Heaven and Hell respectively]
AN: I will be RP'ing as the Einjheriar in this thread
Gin was not pleased to say the least when Toushi broke the news to him about what transpired in the acquisition of Hakaisha Abbadon, his associates, and the Sword of Darkness artifact. Having to arrange the meeting within the confides of his own layer at the last minute, Gin wanted the utmost security present to quell any potential insurgence, as well as maintaining the confidential and controversial nature of his . His frustration lie in not only in Arashi's escape, but the resurfacing of Kanjin Taiyou, a deadly Nemesis from battles long since fought who returned and botched what was supposed to be a routine mission of simple retrieval that resulted in the injury of three of his most trusted people, on of which whose wounds were critical.
"Kogane, how are Midoriiro and Akai's conditions, and what of the prisioners?" Gin asked, standing next to his desk within the confides of his office.
"Akai suffered moderate burns to his hands, but stands to make a full recovery, his injuries were the lightest. Midoriiro suffered 6 broken ribs and a collapsed lung, she being attended to now, but the outlook is grim. The man called Abbadon, as well as his mongrel and half-ling cohort are in your dungeon sir, Kaihaku, Kasshoku, and Kuro are standing guard, they won't get past them." the gruff Malakite spoke, his voice low as he stood in front of the Ha-ou, his arms crossed across his battered and bloodied armor, scotch marks present on his back and shoulder.
"And what of your condition Kogane, now is not the time for modesty." Gin said, looking at the battered condition of his battle hardened comrade.
"Broken arm, crushed jaw, severe burns to my back and arms, internal bleeding... other than that I'm fine..." Kogane muttered, hiding the real extent of his injuries with his stoic appearance.
"I have had enough of the attacks, this will end after today my friend, and if they do not cooperate to the fullest extent, their deaths will be the first of many, too many mistakes have been made, mistakes that I will personally rectify, my apologies friend, I should have been by your side." Gin said in a saddened tone, placing his hand on Kogane's shoulder.
"You couldn't have called him being there, no one knew but Oracle... that bastard, the whole thing smelled of a set-up." Kogane roared, his anger replacing his pain for the moment. He seethed with rage, Taiyou within his grasp on second, only to disappear under circumstance that he did not understand, the men in his custody directly tied in with what transpired, their lack of explanation further leaning Kogane to believe they actively participated in Taiyou's escape.
"No, I have ruled from afar for too long. I have left important and sensitive matters to the most bumbling of fools, and now my closest comrades have been injured when there should have been no quarrel, my nation doubt that I can protect them, and miscreants from the past parade about as if they had nothing to fear, the accursed realm of mortals serving as the hiding ground for our most dangerous foes. The enemies of the state and their cohorts have run out of time as I have patience, and I will personally see to it that their lives are snuffed out like a candle in the nights wind." Gin said, retrieving the Sword of Darkness artifact, coating his hand with a field of Law magic to protect himself from the counter element effects of the sword. "Come Kogane, we shall if they will face up to their actions, and if we are denied what we seek, you have my word to kill them where they stand, a task I shall spearhead myself." Gin said, holding the sword as both he and Kogane exited the room, proceeding to the bowels of Gin's palace where the 3 beings waited within the confides of their separate cells.
Once in the lower most area of the dungeon, Gin and his 4 most powerful men headed toward the enclosed space, doling out orders as they walked. "Kuro, creep into their cells and monitor their movements from the shadows, restrain them from any sudden movements. Kaihaku, fortify the metals the form their prisons, and hold onto this weapon, rend it to dust upon my instruction, as well as scan them for any foriegn objects they may be used as weapons. Kasshoku, link our minds together, using my own mind as the base, my affinity with Law will boost our capacity to monitor them, as well as probe the thoughts of any one I am speaking to." Gin said as they approached Abbadon Hakaisha's cell first, all of the Einjheriar getting into their specified positions, as Gin himself walked to the gated door, a wave his hand undoing the law magic that formed the lock.
Stepping inside, Gin looked at Abbadon, and made no attempts to hide his anger, his eyes narrowing in the glance, his arms resting at his side as he stood in front of his prisoner. "I do not know where to begin in questioning you, so I will allow you to explain why you are I possession of a sacred Celestial artifact, what are you doing in the mortal Realm as a Celestial, an Upright albeit one who has severed ties with his nation a millennial ago and remains to yet to succumb to the process of falling, and what is your relationship to Kanjin Taiyou."
"You are being watched and scanned in every corner, so it would behoove you to be as truthful as could be, your very life depending on your answers, this will be your first and only warning." Gin said an an authoritative tone, his eyes squarely focused on Abbadon, the Einjheriar in clear view in the rear, with Kuro within the cell, acting as the shadows ready to restrain him if he acted out in any way that would harm the Ha-ou.

Abbadon sat in his prison cell with a blank stare on his face. He looked down at his shackled hands and feet, trying to understand why these were necessary since he came willingly. But Abbadon shrugged it off. Whatever; it didn't matter now. All that mattered was that Miyazawa Chiyo went through all of this just to speak to him. Maybe now he can help her justify some of the things that happened to both Taiyou and himself. But that still didn't help him try and figure out who this "Gin" character was.
Abbadon rose his head toward the gates when he heard someone from the outside tamper with the locks. What he saw was a man dressed in green, with a long ponytail and glasses on. Around him were a group of soldiers that looked like the same kind of guys he helped get off Taiyou's ass in the Ningenkai. He could feel his frown on him; that kinda raised Abbadon's intimidation level a bit, since he had no idea who this guy was. So just to make himself feel better, Abbadon determined that this was the "Gin" everyone's been talking about.
The way he spoke let Abbadon know that he was some kind of interrogator. And apparently he wanted to know everything about him. Abbadon closed his eyes; he didn't want to speak with an interrogator, he wanted to speak to the Ha-ou! But, he went on to say that he was being watched and scanned and that his life would be jeopardized if he didn't tell the truth. With a sigh of preparation, Abbadon opened his eyes and looked at the man standing in front of him with a serious stare.
"That celestial artifact is called the Sword of Darkness," Abbadon stated. "It's been passed down to me by my father Hakaisha Noel who died to keep Heaven safe from treachery and to make it a better place for all uprights. And the reason I have been in the mortal realm all this time was not by choice; a Malakite by the name of Oracle altered my mind and bound my powers, sentencing me to the mortal realm and making me believe I was human.
"As for Taiyou, he was my mentor back when we were enlisted in Heaven's Army. He taught me how to manage my magic since mine comes in the form of flames." Abbadon sat back in his seat, listening to the rattle of his shackled wrists and ankles.
"I have answered your questions truthfully, sir," Abbadon said to the man. "But I must ask you permission to tell this to the Ha-ou herself, firsthand, unless you require more out of me."

Shadow awaken to the sound of locks opening. The Knight felt tired, out of the fact that he used his Time magic, his body felt weak. He couldn't remember the trip to his nice cell or to what he could assume as Heaven but he knew that they were in trouble. He looked to his left and right and saw that his hands were shackled and Shadow cold only assume that his feet were too. He sighed.
Hearing foot steps, he rose his head slowly. Who ever it was, they stopped at Abbadon's cell. He could hear what was asked for, Abbadon's life story, and the price to pay if the truth was not known---death. hearing Abbadon's answers calmed The Knight down, he told them what they wanted to know.
He didn't know if they would let them go after that but he then heard Abbadon ask for the Ha-ou to be known of this. All he could do is listen.

Roiyaru paced the small amount of floorspace his cage allowed. As he walked around the confinements of his prison, he could tell that the bars and restraints were coated with an extra dose of Law magic, telling the sprite that there was a possibility that the King's men and this Kouzetsu Gin knew about he and his master for quite some time.
Roiyaru was completely helpless. With the Law magic surrounding him at every turn of every corner, he couldn't use his mental link with his master to communicate with him. He didn't know what they were doing to him. For all he knew, they could be torturing him; beating him senseless for information that there was the possibility of his master having no knowledge of whatsoever. Or worse.
They could be killing him slowly.
Roiyaru tried not to dwell on thoughts of death, but he couldn't help himself. His protectiveness over his master was in higher effect than ever before. He couldn't see his master at all. And the only being he could see was the caged Akuma Shadow, lying in shackles in the cell across from him. He could also see other angels present wearing identical armor from the ones they encountered in the Ningenkai walking inside a cage alongside a man with glasses and a long ponytail, entering a cell to Roiyaru's immediate right he could only assume housed his master.
He calmed himself down, and heard them speak. One of them demanded information from his master. After a moment, his master obliged, followed by permission to speak to the Ha-ou Miyazawa Chiyo. But once that declaration was spoken, Roiyaru started to dwell on the orders the largest soldier proclaimed. What if the Ha-ou was no longer the angel Chiyo?
What if the new Ha-ou of Heaven... was this Kouzetsu Gin?

Gin could hear the thoughts of his other captives, expressing their concerns for Abbadon as he answered the questions that Gin set before him. Their voices lie in the background, as Gin combed through Abbadon's words interpreting every syllable as Kasshoku provided the means to see into his mind, verifying his words by taking glimpses at his sorted history, several places blank or fuzzy to even Abbadon. His words rang true pertaining to the artifact, Gin was familiar with the history of the artifact, his own family coming Koryuu, rendering him and Abbadon distant cousin's due to his connection with the Hakaisha line. His information about Oracle was also consistent with what Gin already knew about the would be Malakite in question, Abbadon making no excuse in mildly expressing his distaste for him.
But when the subject of Taiyou come about, Abbadon began to withhold information, what he said and what Gin and Kasshoku saw did not match up. Yes, there was a history of tutorship, and a friendship between the two going far back, but Gin asked Abbadon the question in relation to his escape, which Abbadon and his cohorts helped to perpetrate. After he spoke, he asked Gin to see the Ha-ou, something that Gin was not surprised by given his missing status and time away from Heaven.
"It seems in the heat of the battle, before the killing blows could be struck, they froze Kogaqne somehow... during which time Taiyou and this Abbadon exchanged words and then he left..." Kasshoku said to the group in their mind's link, casual starring into the prisoner's cell.
"Son of a bitch! I was so close to killing that bastard, Gin if you don't kill him, I'll rip him apart without a weapon, he cost me the one chance to kill Taiyou, it won't ever be that easy again." Kogane said, walking over closer to the cell despite his injuries, as Gin held out his hand, stopping him in his tracks.
"No, he knows more than his ignorance lets on..." Gin said to his men, walking closer to Abbadon, standing directly in his face as his hand return to its original position at his side.
"You wrap the truth in your need to hide information. You seeing the Ha-ou to plead whatever petty case you may have is of no consequence to me. You are responsible for the escape of one of the most dangerous men alive, at the cost of 3 of my men, your recklessness and wanton disregard for authority has landed you in the position you are in now, confined to a cell, unaware as to whether your friends are being tortured or worse. Unlike the idiots that sought your life before, and in their buffoonery rendered you into what you paraded around the mortal realm as, I will not fail in killing you Abbadon...." Gin said as Kuro's form spread across the floor, his magic enveloping Abbadon, the Malakite strengthening his grip as Kogane walked into the cell and reached to grab Abbadon by his collar, swinging to deliver a blow to his midsection, both Einjheriar acting from Gin' subtle orders.
"You do realize that allowing an enemy to escape after he has placed your countrymen in harms way is treason, which is punishable by death in all military circles. You were a soldier, and you must realize your lapse of judgment will cost you dearly unless you answer my question in the fashion I want it delivered, why did you allow Kanjin Taiyou to escape." Gin said, taking the sword from Kogane's side, and placing it at Abbadon's throat.

There was a moment of silence after Abbadon asked to see Chiyo. The man he assumed was Gin only stared at him, but kept the man who was frozen in time back in Tokyo from approaching him. And the fact that his face looked like he wanted to tear him into shreds wasn't making the moment any more comforting to the newly realized Archangel at all.
Soon the ponytailed man started to speak again, only to make Abbadon frown in what he had to say about his information.
..."wrap the truth?" he thought to himself. I told this guy everything I knew!
After a few more sentences spoken by the ponytailed guy he assumed was Gin, he started to see darkness cover the bottom half of his body. Of course he was caught off guard at the sight, somewhat trying his best to keep from panicking from seeing it go up his legs. And by the time he looked at Gin again, the angel he opposed earlier in Tokyo grabbed his coat collar and punched him square in the jaw. He didn't move for a few seconds afterward; only heaving his breath and trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Sure it hurt like hell, but that didn't give him the right to punk out now.
"I didn't know..." Abbadon started, trying to catch his breath. He spat a bit of blood from his mouth, sipping up whatever was left over on his bottom lip. "I didn't know he was against..."
Before he could finish his statement, the man named Gin took the sword of the angel that punched him and placed it at his throat, demanding to know why he let Taiyou escape.
Abbadon could only stare at the man with the sword to his throat as he tried to understand. His original question was how did he know Taiyou, whereas wanting to know why he let him escape was the question he originally wanted answered. Abbadon wasn't clueless; he knew that wasn't the same question the guy asked originally.
But he was asking it now, and he had a sword to this throat.
"We served in the same regime together," Abbadon stated. "And later he joined in my retaliation against Tsubasa. Yes, I was a soldier. And as a soldier, we have a sense of loyalty and respect for our comrades. And when I saw him before the shit-storm Arashi started, it was apparent that loyalty still remained in each of us, even when I couldn't remember what he looked like. And a loyalty like that is never broken. Not even in death."
Abbadon frowned a bit. He was starting to sound like his dad again.
"I don't know how your men were frozen and we weren't," Abbadon said truthfully. "All I know is that the opportunity for Taiyou to see the error of his ways came and I insisted that he take it. I won't defend him for whatever he has done to your men; it's not my place. But as a soldier of Heaven under the existing Ha-ou of Heaven Miyazawa Chiyo, we never abandon our comrades in times of need."
Abbadon could feel his father's words all in that small speech. And that fact was scaring him more than his current situation, especially since he noticed that during the pause he took, he brought his neck closer to the tip of the guy's sword so that it pierced the skin, symbolizing that he was ready to die in what he believed in and how he was raised in the time he was in Heaven.
He continued to frown at the man in an oxymoronic mixture of bravery and fear as he felt the trail of blood go down his neck from his forced penetration. Breathing in, he tried his demand once again in seven words.
"Now let me speak to the Ha-ou..."

Roiyaru had to warn his master of the possibilities that there was a new Ha-ou. But with his entrapment surrounded by Law magic, his ability to speak to him via their mental link was completely cut. And as hard as he tried to calm himself, the sprite couldn't help but to think that something horrible was happening to his master.
Suddenly, Roiyaru yelped in pain. He fell and slid on the floor below him, feeling a blow to his face as the cause. Even though that there was nothing in the cell with him, Roiyaru did not question the strange phenomena.
Ever since he bonded to the son of Noel Hakaisha, they had developed their bond further than that of what he accomplished with Noel. Whereas Noel was only able to connect with his magic to stop him in mid-action, whenever his son's honor, pride, or loyalty toward anything is questioned and followed with a physical blow, both his master and himself would take the pain simultaneously, as if they were of one mind and body. And feeling that blow could only tell Roiyaru that one or all of these three were being questioned upon.
Realizing this, Roiyaru started to whimper as he laid on the floor of his cage, too ashamed for his master to get up. Tears started to form as he heard his explanation as to why he allowed their mutual friend and ally Kanjin Taiyou escape from the clutches of Gin's men. And at the same time, he started to feel his master's self-impalement to his neck.
Knowing that his master probably had no knowledge of what he was doing, he continued to whimper as he tried to call out to him not to make him stop, but to encourage him.
"Ma..ster..."

Shadow tried to go to the bars but the chains only reached so long. He could hear Roiyaru's whimpers and could only guess that something was happening to Abbadon that he didn't like. They wanted to know how Taiyou was able to leave so quickly.
Was it because of me that they are doing this? he thought Did I stop time for Taiyou to escape? He tried to figure out the situation but he couldn't do that anything to help them. What could he do?

"We served in the same regime together, and later he joined in my retaliation against Tsubasa. Yes, I was a soldier. And as a soldier, we have a sense of loyalty and respect for our comrades. And when I saw him before the shit-storm Arashi started, it was apparent that loyalty still remained in each of us, even when I couldn't remember what he looked like. "I don't know how your men were frozen and we weren't, all I know is that the opportunity for Taiyou to see the error of his ways came and I insisted that he take it. I won't defend him for whatever he has done to your men; it's not my place. But as a soldier of Heaven under the existing Ha-ou of Heaven Miyazawa Chiyo, we never abandon our comrades in times of need." Abbadon said back to Gin, after which he demanded to see the Ha-ou.
His words made Gin think for a moment, had they not been so idealistic, they would have mirrored something that Gin would have found himself mouthing to his men or someone else for that matter. But Gin had lived through the battles between Heaven and Hell, and though Abbadon was the victim of a cruel set of circumstances, he had been sparred the burden of being present as friends and comrades were ripped and blown to pieces, removed from the horrors of war that hardened the stern Malakite's heart even further. Gin knew full and well that allowing Taiyou to live off of the pretenses of him coming to see the error of his ways was a foolish gambit, and he would no change his opinion on the dangerous fallen no matter how compelling the words were to fit the argument.
Gin could feel the struggle on the restraints of his other captives, his eyes on the small trickle of blood from Abbadon's neck as he placed himself at Gin's mercy, his actions trying to convey the weight of his words. Removing the blade, Gin wipe dhis hand across Abbadon's neck, the Law magic from this simple gesture sealing his wound as Gin's hand slid from his neck to his shoulder, forcefully seating the misguided Archangel as he turn he back to wipe the blood from the blade, proceeding to hand the weapon back to the still bitter Kogane, who turned away from Abbadon in disgust, the large Celestial wishing his commander was not present to finish what he began on Taiyou with Abbadon.
"Your foolish show of bravado does nothing to erase the fact that an enemy of this nation lives to wreck further havoc, all on account of your actions, or lack thereof. Also, do not speak to me of the creed of warriors under the bumbling and error filled reign of Miyazawa Chiyo, a lovestruck fool whose inability to command led to an attack on a non important military target, from which the retaliation resulted in the subsequent subjugation of this nation. Many of Chiyo's finest warriors defected and became her enemies, and the man that you so revere is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of this nations sons and daughters, while Chiyo hands are soaked with the blood of thousands of non-hostiles, destroying those who couldn't even fight in a jealous tantrum."
"Her reign was marred with inconsistencies, and while there are those who loved and admonished her for her kindness, she is loathed by others for her weakness and inability to make crucial decisions, putting the needs of her lover first before her people. So don't attempt to inform me of the great and noble army amassed by the former Ha-ou, and your honorable code and actions that bordered treason. You were not here to fight the battles I have fought, you were not here to see this nation brought to its knees by such slime as Sanada and her legions as our leaders were lain and were ruled by the humans and fallen kings, our prestige as a nation and people all but diminished."
Gin said, starring into Abbadon's eyes, unmoved by his speech and feeling to vilify Taiyou, as well as speak for a time that had long since past. The wounds from war were still fresh with Gin, and time had not given the stern Malakite the salve to heal from them, his bitterness toward Hell and all its citizen more than present here.
"Times have changed though, and the mistakes of the past will not come back to hamper this nations progress again, the weak and foolish rulers of yesterday long since gone, and as there replacement, I will ensure that the sickening cancer that clouds the judgments of Celestials such as yourself will never come to prominence resulting in this nations rule under Humans and Fallen fro coming to pass ever again." Gin said, turning away from Abbadon, walking out of the cell as Kuro loosened his grip and appeared behind Gin, his blood red armor looking more menacing in the dimly let cell.
"You shall remain here until I have decided on letting you live to assist me in other matters, or die at the hands of the men you help to endanger. As for you request to see the Ha-ou, I do believe I have spent all the time with you that I could afford to, so unless you have anything else to say, we shall part ways here..." Gin said, his face visibly angry now, both Kaihaku and Kogane turning away from his, moving out of his path as he remained standing at the edge of Abbadon's open cell.

Abbadon could hear Roiyaru murmur the word master nearby; not through their mental link, but out loud. He sounded like he was in pain, like he was in trouble. That only made the archangel excited and fearful at the same time. He had no clue what this guy was gonna do next, and by standing up and pressing his throat on the tip of the sword just to prove a point had him more afraid than anything he encountered. Sure, he put his life on the line before, but this was different. This was completely different.
He could tell that the Gin guy was thinking about what he said, regardless of how foreign his words felt to himself. And when he reached toward him, he flinched a little. I mean, come on; you're cornered in a cell with angels that conveniently have every elemental magic to leave you powerless. You mean to tell me you would have stayed completely still while at the mercy of these guys? But instead of the Gin guy doing bodily harm to the Archangel, he coated his throat with what felt like law magic to mend his wound and stop the bleeding. He was then pushed back down to his seat.
<Are you okay, boy?> he tried to communicate with his canine sprite, knowing that there was a good chance that the message couldn't get through. But before there was a possibility of getting an answer, Gin started to speak. He degraded Chiyo with every opportunity he gave and told Abbadon of all his mentor's crimes against Heaven.
Abbadon didn't want to believe it, but he would be a fool if he refused to put two and two together. He continued to talk about the things that he went through and what Abbadon had the misfortune to not see for himself due to his entrapment in the Ningenkai.
His past magic started to retaliate, using the push the guy used to seat Abbadon as the link. As Gin continued to speak, he could see the battles he fought; the friends and allies he lost. He even saw the incident that destroyed his wings and damaged his legs. It was clear that he was able to recuperate after seeing him standing here in the cell with him, but the mere factor of the matter left Abbadon in shock.
The events of Gin's past continued to play in Abbadon's subconscious even as Gin finished up his speech. At that time, Abbadon's eyes were widened with surprise. He stared at him speechless as he said a sentence that revealed his true identity at the same time his past magic allowed him to see a key moment in the Malakite's life.
He saw Gin's crowning as the Ha-ou of Heaven.
"As for your request to see the Ha-ou," Kouzetsu said, "I do believe I have spent all the time with you that I could afford to, so unless you have anything else to say, we shall part ways here..."
Abbadon felt like the biggest idiot ever. He had no idea that he mouthed off to the new ruler of all Heaven. Just seeing him frown at him was enough to make Abbadon try and keep from looking at his eyes.
She's dead, isn't she? Abbadon thought to himself. Chiyo's dead. But who? Who killed her?!
Abbadon continued to look at the ground, keeping his eyes off of Gin. But still; not looking helped him build up the courage to say one last thing.
"Your majesty," Abbadon started. "I understand your experiences have left you with a bitter taste in your mouth. And having to deal with me and my shortcomings is not at all helping the situation either."
He finally built up the courage to return Gin's stare, along with his own frown. Only this one ended up being a frown of determination.
"But I was, am, and forever will be a warrior of this great nation," Abbadon said to the Ha-ou, "just as my father was until his untimely death. It's true; I didn't fight the wars that you did. But that does not change my determination to see the safety of this nation. If I weren't in the Ningenkai against my will, you can rest assured that I would have fought right by your side that same day you lost your wings!"
Abbadon gulped after that sentence, not realizing that he said something that he only knew about Gin after seeing the events played back in his mind through his past magic until now.
"What I am saying," Abbadon said in a calmer tone of voice, "is that it does not matter who is in charge. Whether it be you or Chiyo or the Ha-ou after yourself, I will continue to make sure that this nation is safe from any threat within or outside. That's what I did before my incident, that's what my father did before he died. You can count on that."

Though unintentional, the words from Abbadon's mouth pertaining to Gin's injuries pierced the celestial enough to stop him in his tracks as he was nearly a foot away from exiting the cell, the Einjheriar in shock all turned to stare at Abbadon like he had committed some egregious crime, Gin standing motionless as the silence filled the room like a noxious cloud of gas.
Gin thought about that day, the endless rain that poured onto the battlefield, the uniforms of he and his men caked in mud and blood, the thunder overhead from the leftover residual magic of the Arashi-ou Rei Yamzaki drowning out the clash and clang of sword and explosion of magic and artillery. Gin watched as he men painfully followed his orders to move the injuried from the battlefield and meet the reinforcements halfway as he stayed to defend the base alone, understanding nothing and no one could have effected the outcome of that day, the wheels of fate crush those who seek to change their direction.
Sighing and making the first noise to tear through the silence, Gin raised his head to stare at the ceiling. "Nothing could have prevented the events of that day, I was aware of the dangers posed and I performed my duty for my men and my nation. This is why the actions you performed today were so reprehensible, your actions caused my men to fail in removing those who seek to destroy and poison our home, and thereby allowing the man responsible for my wounds to go free, you have failed."
"Their is no mercy in a war of ideals Abbadon, we are right and they are wrong, if you see things differently, stand before these men who you have dishonored and take what comes to you if you choose to fall." Gin said as he walked away, repeating the same lines to Abbadon as he said to three unfortunate young fallen troops, who there after were executed afterward, these men having been close associates of Taiyou.
The cage closed behind Gin and his men as they exited, and Gin mouthed the words back to himself as he walked up the stairs, back to the ground floor of his estate, "There is no mercy in a war of ideals, you traitorous filth have dishonored yourself and your countries, a fallen can never rise, ever..." Gin said as the men were beheaded by him Kogane, and Kuro, an action to this day Gin still does not regret.

So it was true.
<Are you okay, boy?> Roiyaru's eyes widened. It was his master. He stood up and looked around cage. He hadn't the slightest idea that their mental link was still compatible in this situation. But before he had the opportunity to respond to his master's question, the conversation between he and the new Ha-ou of Heaven continued to escalate. He heard his master bring up the aspect of his loyalty as he heard Gin compare the level of loyalty to that of treason.
By the time he saw them walk out of the dungeon, he tried his best to gain his compulsion to respond to his master. After a few breaths, he was finally in his right mind.
<My safety does not matter,> Roiyaru replied. <Yours is the only one that I care about.>

Abbadon listened to what Gin had to say about how his honor border-lined treachery. It was evident that since he'd been gone from Heaven that a lot of things changed since this Gin guy had been crowned king of the Seventh. But all the time that he could have spent informing Abbadon about why he and his men went to the length that they did to bring him back to Heaven was basically spent browbeating him over shit that he either had no control over or acted under his initial knowledge of justice and loyalty! I mean, what the fuck, man?!
By the time Gin and his men left his cell, he started to pick up a reply from Roiyaru from his first attempt to talk to him mentally. Just the fact that they still had their mental link was enough to make Abbadon smile.
<My safety does not matter,> he heard him say. <Yours is the only one that I care about.>
Abbadon chuckled, hearing that his sprite's concern of his safety outweighed his own. Still sitting down, he lowered his head a bit; still trying to get over that strong as fuck punch that guard gave his face gift-wrapped with a bow and shit. After scanning his mouth with his tongue for anything out of place, he looked up, staring at the hallway in front of him.
<Don't say that, Roi; I don't know where I'll be if I ever lost you,> Abbadon said in a joking manner, even though he knew Roiyaru would know that he meant every word of it. <You're all the family I have left.>
Abbadon then looked fully across the hall to see Shadow laying on the ground in his cell. It only got his mind to start thinking in overtime. When time stopped for everyone but Roiyaru, Taiyou, Shadow and himself, Shadow fell unconscious. That right there could prove a factor that he could have had something to do with the time lapse. Hell; for all Abbadon knew, he could have unknowingly had Time magic inside him. But would that cause this new king of Heaven to count that against him?
Either way, Abbadon was determined to bring Shadow out of whatever slump he seemed to be in. He stared at him and smirked.
"So," he said his way. "What're you in for?"

Shadow rose his head slowly after hearing Abbadon's way of cheering him up. He chuckled just a little bit but it was hard to face the fact that he, Abbadon, and Roiyaru might die here. It was hard to make something like this light or for that matter see that their ws any light. It was pretty dark in the cell.
"They said I killed a person but I was framed by the guy who killed..." Shadow joked back.
He stayed silent for a few moments. The Knight tried to put his thoughts together and to figure out what might happen. On the Con side, they could all die in anyway the man in the Green saw fit. On the Pro side, they could be let go. Shadow was so hoping for the latter.
"What do you think might happen?" Shadow asked as he got up and moved around the cell as much as he could. "They have your blade but they're pissed that Taiyou got away because of some past shit that he was a part of. It doesn't make sense though that Taiyou left Heaven....something must have happen that he fell from grace."
"Some Vacation, huh?"

"Just stop trying, Shadow," Abbadon interrupted his friend after he clearly tried to counter his joke. "You failed; just stop before you hurt yourself."
He admitted it; even though Shadow failed at trying to return the favor, he still laughed. He had to do something to show that there was a bright side to this. But during the time the archangel laughed, Shadow seemed to be in deep thought. A bit of Abbadon's train of thought wondered if he was trying to compensate for his fuck-up. But when he spoke about the situation they were in and about the factor of Taiyou, that got Abbadon thinking. That's when he said it.
"Some vacation, huh?"
Abbadon chuckled. "Dude," he said. "This is the best vacation ever. Can't you see you're living the life of luxury? Chained inside a fucking cell getting a chance to see someone land a successful punch to my face? You know, the shit you couldn't do? Can you ask for anything more?"
After Abbadon took a breath, he started to contemplate everything that happened involving Taiyou that he learned of late. He looked at Shadow with a serious look.
"Taiyou fell after I was sent to the Ningenkai," Abbadon began to explain. "And they actually have the right to be pissed at him, because once he fell he attacked a shit-load of Gin's soldiers; he's just as wanted as that dick-wad, Arashi."
He looked at the ground, thinking on what he learned from his Past magic after he touched his old friend that day.
"Then he got screwed over by Tomo," Abbadon said. "She allowed Chiyo to destroy a bunch of fallen, including his wife and children. Ever since then, his life has been nothing but anger and revenge. He's not the same guy that we knew, Shadow. Well, I mean your past life. But just seeing the smile on his face when he saw us again, it's clear that there's still a bit of himself left in that monstrosity of his mind."
He looked at Shadow again, keeping that same serious look in his face.
"I know he's still in there somewhere," Abbadon told him. "Gin and his guards may have deemed him a villain and a traitor, but I still have faith that there's still good in him. If there wasn't, then I wouldn't have been able to convince him to not slay those guys when time stood still. I can save him; I know I can..."

Gin and his men headed back upstairs, moving towards the Ha-ou's study, Gin waving his hand, closing the door behind them as he was the last to enter the room. The five men stood in the center of the room silently for moments, each of them reflecting on what transpired in the holding cells underneath the estate individual, each with their own take on the situation, despite their unanimous feelings that something has to been done about Taiyou. "Kasshoku, what were you able to gather from Abbadon, were his words indeed as true as he let us believe they were?" Gin asked, removing his glasses, massaging the area between his eyes with his thumb and index finger.
"He is an idiot Kouzetsu, but not a liar. Everything he said was true, his ignorance as to the fate of Chiyo and the current and previous kings of Heaven, all the way up to his letting Taiyou go in the hopes of him changing. He wasn't there for a lot of the things that happened, the battles, the depth of the kings, the various betrayals and changing of hands, he was gone for all of it." Kasshoku said, folding his arms as he addressed Gin, his voice mutable and seemingly uncaring, even if it sounded as he were pleading for Abbadon, completely from the point of his ignorance as the greates case of his ignorance.
"Does that even matter, I was a direct, treasonous action, ignorance of the law has never saved anyone in the militatary. He forgot to mention when we showed up and explained who we were and what doing, he questioned us, and then his dog attacked Midoriiro when she went after Taiyou. His crimes extend way past treason, aiding and abetting a known and wanted criminal, refusal to yield to authority..." Kogane exploded, his anger quelled by Gin's hand on his shoulder, the large Celestial still ruining off of sheer willpower, his fatigue starting to show as he slumped over onto Gin's desk.
"You need to seek medical attention Kogane, you injuries are to serve for you to continue in this manner. Kaihaku, escort him to the medical facilities in the city, if he resists, I am confidant you can adequately deal with him." Gin said lifting the large man as his wounds began to open, his eyes slumping as he attempted fight the fatigue, but his energy, he collapsed on both Gin and Kaihaku. The large angel seemed to be dwarfed by the size of his comrade, the silent iron clad giant Kaihaku effortlessly lifted Kogane, hoisting him over his shoulder, walking out of the study, his large metallic boots clanging as he proceeded to walk out the door.
"Kuro, summon Toushi immediately, I have a request for him." Gin said, turning his focus toward his desk, deep in thought on the fate of those in the bowels of his estate.

Shadow made a nod when Abbadon finish saying what was needed to be said. He may not knew Taiyou as well as Abbadon--well not in this life---but he did know that within some ark there is light. He knew that all to well.
"I really do wish I knew what happen when time stood still. I can't help but shake this feeling that I was the one who did that time freeze. I don't know how or why but I know I had some part in it. I need...I need to figure this out soon." Shadow sighed. "I hope Runa is okay."

As he heard his master's words spoken to him through their mental channel, Roiyaru laid comfortably on the floors of his cage, satisfied that he could talk to his master once again. His words were endearing and humbling; His reasoning to why he didn't want Roiyaru to say such things were more heartfelt than cautious. But what affected the canine sprite most of all was his master's final sentence he uttered to him through their mental channel.
<You're all the family I have left.>
The sprite started to tear, finding it most unbearable for his master to be the last of his bloodline. And whereas he knew that his existence was necessary to provide companionship for the lonely archangel, he also knew that he couldn't replace the loss of his family. The same went for Shadow and Taiyou; whereas they're as close to Abbadon as they were, they couldn't replace what he lost from the clutches of Tsubasa.
Roiyaru listened to his master converse with the Knight in the cell across from his cage, talking about the state of their mutual friend Kanjin Taiyou. And whereas Shadow only knew certain aspects about his previous life as Seijin Shadow, he continued to show characteristics of the late archangel more and more. Questioning how he was able to accomplish the ability over Time magic was one of them.
Roiyaru kept his maw closed and turned his head away, carrying a disgraced look on his face. If Shadow were to find out that Roiyaru's chaos magic prematurely activated the hidden magic within him, who knows what mental consequences he would have to face. It wasn't as if the sprite had a choice in the matter; there was so much confusion, he just had to do something to put an end to the idea of bloodshed. But his regret over his decision instead of waiting for the magic to mature on it's own started to overtake his conscience. And after the events that led to his imprisonment into the Sword of Darkness, he couldn't bare to have anything else weighing it down.
However, when he spoke upon a being that was foreign to his knowledge, it caused his head to face Shadow again, raising it up as his face bore a look of confusion. He has had the pleasure of speaking to his sister Sarah. He even saw the purple-haired mortal named Margaret when he entered the facilities of the Devil Saints. But he did not know this being he spoke of. And as his master's protector, he had to make sure he was aware of everyone he would come across in this organization.
"Who is this... Runa?" Roiyaru asked Shadow with mild curiosity.

Shadow laughed at Roiaryu's question of Runa. It was funny to him only because he knew that the only reason for asking was that he didn't see her while in the Sword. Looking at the sprite, with a smile on his face no less, he went through right pants pocket then the left. Pulling out a white and black wallet, he went through the wallet and pulled out a small picture of her. He then toss it to the sprite which landed in front of him. "That's Runa." Shadow said with a cocky attitude in his voice, " I really care for her and I really want to get the hell out of here so I can see if she is alright. Though...it will be hard to explain all of the things that's happen."

Roiyaru gazed to the floor as the photograph was slid in front of the law-engrossed bars of his cage. He squinted, unintentionally forming a frown on his face as he stared at the picture of the woman in question. Strangely, the canine sprite started to pick up a few feline aspects in the woman he assumed was mortal. It wasn't that he did not find the situation to his liking, even though there was the slightest possibility that was indeed the case. He just found it odd that such traces could be picked up within a single photograph.
He stared back toward the night as he heard his pleas to see her once again. Whereas Roiyaru had no choice to be sympathetic when around the Knight's past life, now that his focus was romantically off his master and on this... Runa, he could be more supportive for his master's best friend.
"I am sure that she is the type who is very quick to understand if given the ample time to explain your actions as of late, Akuma," Roiyaru assured. "If she cares for you as equally as you state you care for her, then there should not be any worry echoing from your mouth."
Roiyaru looked at the picture again and tried to squeeze one of his paws outside to reach for it. He was successful, yet he could feel the forced law magic weighing his body down for such penetration. Quickly, he moved the picture toward his master's cell, assuming that he himself had yet to see a visual of his friend's newest love interest. He immediately retreated his paw back inside his cage, breathing heavily from the forced law magic making the most simplest of tasks frustratingly hard.
