It was supposed to be a simple day for her: Stay at HQ and catch up on some TV that was saved on her DVR that she missed for two months. But Shadow wanted her to teach the new guy how to use their weapons. It shouldn't be too hard to teach him, right? She left a letter near his room for him to go out to the forest near by HQ. it was far enough from town that others couldn't hear the gun shots and enough tree's to be cut by other weapons. Wearing her battle outfit She waited for him to show up. He was already 40 minutes late.

[This takes place a week after "Train of Consequences," located in the Shichisou, and a few weeks before "Challenges & Toil."]
"Fuck!" Abbadon projected through the dormitories of the Devil Saint Headquarters as he looked at his clock after waking up and reading the letter left for him by Maggie. The reason behind the yelled "fuck" wasn't because he didn't want to train with Maggie; he was actually looking forward to the session. The reason why was because when he looked at the time written on the letter, then at the clock, he realized that he was about forty minutes late.
Abbadon rushed to get his clothes on like a frickin' Looney Toon or a character from that Shin Chan anime; washing up and brushing his teeth as fast as he could, and tripping over his pants while he was trying to rush putting them on. When he was finally successful, he placed his sword in it's sheath and looked around to see that Roiyaru wasn't there.
"Where the hell is he?!" Abbadon said to himself. As he tried to find his sprite, Abbadon was once again reminded of the time. He rolled his eyes and huffed.
"Fuck it," he said. "I'm already late as it is."
Abbadon left his apartment and left the headquarters through the flower shop exit. When he saw the front, he could see Devil Saint members finishing up the last bit of construction on the place since he and Shadow's brawl with Arashi and the Einjheriar. He used the shop's back door to head outside and immediately jumped into flight to head to where Maggie stated she would be. And apparently when he saw her, he saw Roiyaru there as well.
Always gotta one up me, huh boy? he thought to himself.
When Abbadon landed, he landed in front of Maggie and Roiyaru somewhat the way Hancock would land after flying back when he was drunk. The only difference was that he didn't do any damage to the ground when he did. Instead, he took the time to look at Maggie's face again. He smirked a bit before exhaling from rushing to do everything.
"Hey," he said. "Sorry I'm late."

Once Roiyaru was finished patrolling the hallways of the Devil Saint's headquarters, he could see a member of the organization leave his master's dwellings. He saw her before; it was during his last days entrapped within the Sword of Darkness. Wondering what business she could have with his master, Roiyaru went inside their living quarters through a device Akuma had installed keeping Roiyaru in mind called a "doggie-door."
When he saw his master sleep, it was the most calming thing at the moment for the sprite. Who knew that an angel of his master's caliber would become so accustomed to a mortal ritual such as sleep to where he welcomed it freely? He could only assume that living as long as he did believing he was one of them helped settle that query.
The sprite then noticed the note on the nightstand by his bed, apparently written by the woman who entered earlier. She wanted to train his master in the weaponry the organization used. And the fact that the time of the meet was less than twenty minutes from now made Roiyaru assume that his master would be up in time for such exercise.
Well, Roiyaru couldn't just allow his master to attend to such activity unaccompanied; he had to go. But he decided to leave for the location then so that he could get to know the woman training him a bit better. But he didn't leave without showing his slumbering master a small hint of affection first by nuzzling his nose with his master's.
By that time, Roiyaru exited both the headquarters and the flower shop, using his speed to sprint across to the forested area the woman named Margaret awaited. He slowed down and nodded in her direction.
"Good morning, Margaret," Roiyaru greeted the mortal woman. "I am Roiyaru. My master should be accompanying us shortly."
Roiyaru would then proceed to stand next to Margaret as the time for his master's estimated arrival came close. But the time came and went. Soon it was five past.
Then ten.
Then twenty.
Then thirty.
Then forty.
Roiyaru growled in the annoyance of his master's tartness. Where could he be? he thought. Then Roiyaru looked to the skies to see a being in black flying straight to their position. He smirked as he picked up a thought from the bogey.
Always gotta one up me, huh boy?
He saw his master land immediately across from them, somewhat still in a haze from his sleep. But apparently all it took was one look at the mortal Margaret for him to assume control of his own body. Once he apologized for being late Roiyaru started to chuckle lightly, picking up the thoughts his master had for the woman before them.

Maggie giggled lightly. She had a feeling that he would be late but as she did waited, she did forget about his sprite being there from the get go. Giving Abbadon a smile she said "No worries, you made it and that's all that matters."
She soon walked over to her bag, which was near by a tree, and began to reach in the object. She forgot that she was bent over but continued to talk anyway.
'Now, if I rember correctly," She started as she sway from left to right, "You don't use guns. We, as Devil Saint's, do. But they are not the killing kind per say."
Pulling out a small black gun, the type that they use in the police force, with a laser pointer on top of it and it's ammo.
"This little buddy shoots stun bullets. Unless these things hit someone other than the target, the bullets are untraceable. No one can find out what type of gun it comes from." They are standerd issuse for people that are on the job."
Going back into her bag, she pulled out five shurkens and began to spin them around her finger. With the other hand she tossed the stun gun to Abbadon's feet.
"Shadow told me that he would at least want you to use the gun, give it a try at least and I can't think a more better way to try this out but on a live target. Me. Think you can keep up?"

Abbadon couldn't help but to smile when he saw Maggie giggle like a school girl. I mean come on, just because you'd been lacking the ability to feel emotions for a good length of time didn't mean that they weren't there; Abbadon could clearly found the look cute, even if she was dressed like she was about to slaughter a bunch of zombies from the Resident Evil flicks. You know, the ones that were gay as hell and ran in "Extinction."
When she walked to her bag, Abbadon took her standing place next to Roiyaru, placing his hand on his head and stroking his cheek with his thumb. He glanced at him with a smirk before staring back at Maggie.
<Thanks for waking me up,> he said to him sarcastically.
By the time Abbadon's attention was back on Maggie, she was talking about the idea of getting him to use a gun. As a matter of fact, the first time she said gun, Abbadon kinda rolled his eyes, only because he knew who put the idea in her head.
Shadow.
That little twat, he thought to himself.
That's when Maggie introduced a gun that only shot stun bullets, when she continued to inform him of their ability he honestly tried his best to understand the concept. To him, guns were a coward's way of fighting; there was no room for cowardice when your in the heat of a brawl or you see steel go against steel forcing each other to succumb. Guns take away the thrill of battle and gives people an unearned position of power. Saying you killed fifty men with your sword or your bare hands is one thing. Saying you killed fifty men with a single magazine of a gun is totally different.
But because this was Maggie here and not Shadow, Abbadon was willing to give it a try just to see how the weapon worked in his hand. She took out a few shurikens from her bag and tossed him the stun gun. He barely caught it, trying to catch it again as he bumbled around with it nervously. He never carried a gun before, so truthfully the nervousness was expected. And when she suggested that he use her as a live target, he started to get a bit worried.
"Uh," he uttered. He looked at the gun now that he finally had a hold of it, then he looked at Maggie. He tried his best to swallow his nervousness he felt in this semi-awkward situation. And once he got his fill, he slowly smirked.
"Yeah," he said in a confident tone. "Yeah, I think I can keep up..."
Abbadon's smirk turned more confident, even when he was thinking to himself.
What the fuck am I doing?!?!?!

Maggie wanted to laugh but she knew that it would be rude to do so. She continued to spin the five shurkens on her fingers as she moved back toward a tree and lean on it.
It made her think. Looking at Abbadon, she wondered how this man became a seat without the the test. She wonder why she seemed to be draw to him for some reason.
"I have to ask you a bit of question, Abbadon," she stated as she stop the shurkens from her fingers.
"Why are you here? Why did you wanted to be a Devil Saint?"

Abbadon tried to understand what the situation was. One minute, Maggie was able to talk the archangel into practicing with a gun. The next, he was being interrogated on his motives toward being a member of the Devil Saints. Even so, he could still see a hint of something in Maggie's eyes. It wasn't like she was asking to try and see if he was worthy of being a member or some shit. It was more of a genuine "I was only curious" kind of thing.
"Shit," he said after a slight chuckle. "I guess my only answer to that question is..."
Abbadon looked at Roiyaru, smirking a bit. Then he looked back at Maggie.
"Shadow realized how great of an asset I would be to the organization after I kicked his ass one time," he said, placing his hands on his waist while standing triumphantly. "So just to humor him, I accepted the position he offered me."
Abbadon tried his best to keep from laughing, but he couldn't hold his composure any longer than he could already. So he went on and laughed, only to accidentally pulled the trigger of his stun gun. Only thing was, he shot his thigh.
"AH! FUCK!" he said as he threw the gun to the ground. "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT SHIT?!?!"

Roiyaru felt the comforting touch of his master, only to see him react to the special pistol Margaret tossed his way. Seeing the way he retrieved it, Roiyaru knew that sooner or later this scenario was not going to end well for him.
He sat still in the immediate idea the human proclaimed, stating to use herself as a target. He looked to his master, somewhat surprised that he obliged to the idea, especially after sensing from his mental subconscious that he somewhat had feelings for the mortal. Roiyaru didn't necessarily understand how he could; she was human after all.
Then she asked him why he wanted to become a Devil Saint. In response to this, his master retreated his eye contact to the sprite. Roiyaru stared back, able to read that he did not want to inform the human of his past dealings with Shadow's past life in fear that it would turn her away. Roiyaru gave him an affirming nod in his decision. But when he stated a joke in it's stead, Roiyaru rolled his eyes in annoyance.
After hearing his master finish his brash attempt at human humor, he watched his master shoot himself with the same pistol that he was handed. In response, Roiyaru laid on the ground and covered his eyes with his front paws. He just knew that this was not going to end well for him.

Maggie tried her best from laughing at the poor man but it was becoming apparent, from the fact that tears of laugher were slowly rolling off her face, that she was going to fail at holding it in. Letting it to a point that most of the birds that surround the area flew off from their perch, Maggie stopped with a long sigh.
"That was funny." Maggie finally said as she walked over to the hurt Abbadon. With out thinking, she keeled down to the area that Abbadon was hurt at and began to rub her hand on the area.
"Does this hurt?" she asked.

"OW!" Abbadon yelled when he felt Maggie press on the part of his thigh that he shot by accident. For something that was only supposed to stun, Abbadon felt like the bullet went in his leg completely; regardless if he could clearly see the stun bullet on the ground.
Out of reflex, Abbadon swatted Maggie's hand away after he felt that jolt of pain. He knew that she was only trying to help, but damn that hurt! He sucked in air through his clench teeth after making his distaste for the random pain clearly evident.
"Don't touch it!" he said in a mix of a yell and a child whining. The fact that he didn't even catch himself when he said it was proof that he didn't care about how he looked in front of her at the moment. I don't care how much you wanted to impress a chick; after getting shot by any kind of bullet, that's the last thing you want to think about.

"Fine, I won't help you..." Maggie said as her hand was moved from Abbadon. "See if I care if you hurt your self again. I as going to help with the pain but I guess I have no choice." Getting up and moving to the right side of the forest, she snapped her fingers on her left hand.
"Training exercise program Sigma." She shouted out. The ground began to shake as large towers, as tall as Maggie at least, rose from the ground. They had east, west, north, and south spray painted on them and on the top of it a blue glowing orb.
"These boys shoot Stun bullets," she shouted "Your job is to shoot the towers before they shoot you."
"Targets on!" she shouted. The top part of the towers began to glow red now and a clicking noise was on.
"You should have let me help you...." she said as she laugh.
"Sigma program, commence!"

By the time Abbadon was on his feet, four tall tower thingys erupted around the Archangel. He heard what Maggie said about them; how he had to shoot them with stun bullets before they shot him with the same kind of ammo. When she said "targets on," he could hear them click and show cannons facing toward him. Mechanized sounds that sounded like they belonged on the sound-effects board of a Gundam anime were all Abbadon could hear as he watched the cannons on each tower set it's target; himself.
He gulped, holding the gun the right way this time as he was inclined to only say two words.
"Ah shit."
"Sigma Program, commence!" he heard Maggie yell. Once she let the last of that sentence leave her mouth, Abbadon immediately jumped into the skies before the targets started shooting a crap-load of those stun bullets where he once stood. Twisting and turning in the air, Abbadon aimed the gun in his hand toward the tower that was labled "South". With a single shot, Abbadon was able to put the tower out of commission.
However, once he successfully eliminated the tower, the other three immediately locked on to his location. Once they started shooting after him, Abbadon immediately thrust into flight, circling around the towers to evade the stun bullets buzzing his way. When the towers took the time out to reload their cannons, Abbadon flew between the towers named "East" and "West." The two towers immediately locked on to his position and started shooting. With a smirk, Abbadon immediately teleported away from the fire via his black chaotic flames. From a safe distance, he watched as the two towers decommissioned themselves.
Three down, one to go.
But before Abbadon could raise his gun, a stray stun bullet from the "North" tower nicked his right wrist through his coat. This was immediately followed by a barrage of bullets sent Abbadon's way from the same tower. Thinking quickly, Abbadon hid behind a tree, watching the bullets whiz by. Abbadon took the time to take the tranquilizer-sized bullet out of his wrist, noticing that not only did it damage his coat the chick who was responsible for this gave to him, but that his blood started to get into the seams.
But what Abbadon saw afterward was somewhat strange. Once his blood soaked into the coat, glowing lines that you would typically see in technology-inspired Sci-Fi movies like "Tron" started to appear all through it. After a while, Abbadon looked at the wound again. Not only did the wound heal quicker than usual, but the coat started to mend itself. Abbadon cocked his head after witnessing what he saw.
"Hmm..."
Abbadon noticed that the barrage of bullets stopped, seemingly taking the time to reload for more bullets. Taking advantage of the time, Abbadon flew toward the "North" tower at full speed. Once it started shooting again, Abbadon dodged as many as he could before realizing that shooting the tower was now out of the question.
"Fuck this!" he yelled as he threw the gun toward the barrage of bullets. He watched it explode upon impact with the stun bullets, but paid it no mind. He kept advancing toward the tower, getting nicked by the bullets in his chest and on the sides. But that didn't matter; this machine was really starting to piss him off. He clenched his right fist, and pulled it back. His coat did that glowing line light thing again, but that didn't matter to him. With a loud yell, Abbadon punched the machine, hoping that would put it out of commission. But when he did, it just didn't put it out of commission.
The punch straight up destroyed it.
Abbadon retreated his hand. His punches were never that strong without him using magic to fortify it. So when he noticed that the glowing white lines along the sleeves and upper torso of his coat died down, he couldn't help but to think that there was definitely something about this coat. He looked behind him and saw Maggie. He gave a thumbs up and smiled as he wiped his brow with his other hand.
"Piece of cake."

The young woman began to clap slowly, picking up speed as she took a cuple of steps forward toward Abbadon. She was impressed, to say the least and surprised that the coat that she gave him was working properly. She wasn't expecting for it to work that well in the first place.
There is still work to be done with, she thought as she stopped to look at the towars that laided wasted on the forest floor, but with a few mods it should be ready.
She folded her arms and looked at Abbadon. Well the coat that Abbadon had on but none the less it was Abbadon she was staring at.
"I see that the coat has took in your DNA, Plasma, Adrenaline levels quite nicely. I didn't expect to do that to your body so quickly. Mine took hours for it to update on my body. Do you have any questions or should we move on?"

Roiyaru rose his head from his paws as the towers started to rise. And as his master pursued to decommission them, since they were robotic, Roiyaru's interest was captivated by his master's attack strategy without him. Seeing his master use a hand-held weapon was indeed impressive, since it was his first time using one successfully. And his out-maneuvering of two of the robotic towers to make them decommission themselves was simply brilliant.
However, watching his master obtain this stunning physical strength. And when the bullets collided with him, they simply bounced away as opposed to piercing his flesh like the last time. Roiyaru was not naive to the fact that he was not this powerful before, even when he had his chaotic magics mastered in Heaven. There was something different about his current garments.
There was something about that coat...
He could hear the mortal woman Margret clap slowly, later expressing things about the garment in question that lead the sprite to believe that she constructed the cloth that clad on his master currently. And quite frankly, Roiyaru was surprised.
A mortal was able to create such material to aid a Celestial in battle? Things have definitely changed during his trips to the mortal realm he made with Hakaisha Noel when he was bonded to him. He could only smile as he heard her ask his master if they were to continue.
Humans, Roiyaru thought to himself. They never cease to amaze me...

Abbadon surprisingly was able to digest all of what Maggie said, saying that the way the coat reacted when it soaked in his blood was supposed to happen in lack of better word usage. Abbadon chuckled after she finished talking about how she wasn't expecting the coat to do half of the shit that he displayed before.
"Believe me," he said, "you're not the only one..."
"Do you have any questions?" she asked. "Or should we move on?"
Abbadon blinked a few times and smirked with widened eyes. Well damn, he thought to himself.
Humans, he heard Roiyaru think. They never cease to amaze me...
That got Abbadon to chuckle again. He looked over to his sprite to see him smiling at Maggie. He walked over to him and scratched underneath his maw, bringing him close to his body.
<Don't get any ideas, buddy,> he told him through their mental pattern. <I already claimed this one; go get your own.>
He walked toward Maggie, still with his smile. "Well," he said to her, "what other ideas for training did you have in mind?"

Maggie placed her index finger on her chin---her thinking pose--- and thought Abbadon's question. She didn't really had nothing else planed other than to see if the coat was working like it should. She didn't even notice how Roiyaru and Abbadon look like they were talking about her for a second.
Not going far with thinking about real life was one of her flaws that she really need to work on.
"To be perfectly honest", she started, "I really don't know. I really didn't expect the coat to take in your body in so well. I thought we would be out here all day, all night maybe."
Looking away, she thought again about what to do. The thought came to her as she turned back the young man in front of her, a smile forming slowly.
"Do you want to fight me?"

Abbadon smiled again. She had a thinking pose? This chick was too cute for her own good! And the fact that she looked like she didn't plan they'd go this far just added with the cuteness. As a matter of fact, he could have sworn he saw a bit of blush on her cheeks. Even when she went on to say that she had no idea.
When she said that she wasn't expecting the coat to take in his body so well, he chuckled and nodded. He had moments like that, too. Well, not moments that involved a super-special coat, but he definitely had moments where he was making shit up as he went. So when she suggested that she fight him, he could easily tell that it was time to change the subject.
"I think I have a better idea," he said to Maggie. "It's about noon, right? How about we get some lunch? It'll be my treat. I don't think I can stomach the food at the canteen anymore."
He looked on the ground. Or the service... he thought to himself.

"I know what you mean," Maggie spoke, "That dick called me Mary even though I told him my name is Maggie. But that's okay, I made sure he won't forget to call me Maggie ever again...."
Clearing her throat and realizing that she was think aloud, she made a slight nod. "Lunch does sound nice, but I hope you are buying because I am bloody broke. I had to go out and pay for this outfit to get fix. Now if I was still living with my mum, I could have gotten this fix with paying a cent."

If this was an anime, Abbadon would have developed one hell of a sweat-drop mark on the left side of his forehead after hearing Maggie mention doing something to the guy at the canteen.
Not that he didn't deserve it, but I mean come on; she looks like she wouldn't hurt a fly!
But Abbadon chuckled it off, scratching the back of his head. "I know, right?" he said nervously. "He's a total douche. I mean, I've done my share of douche-baggery, but at least people know I'm kidding when I do it." He swallowed a bit before gaining his composure again. He pointed to himself with his thumb and smirked.
"But like I said," he said. "It's my treat; get anything you want. I don't mind. As a matter of fact, I know the perfect place. It's never crowded during lunch hours and the food's pretty good at reasonable prices. Just let me know if you wanna... fix up anything before you want to head out."

Maggie smile. It was nice for the new guy to treat her to lunch and suprisingly enough, hse was broke. Those robots didn't pay for themselves, you know? But she knew she couldn't go out in her current outfit, it wasn't becoming of a lady her age. Looking up and down at herself, she tilted her head slightly.
"Uh," she finally spoke with nervous sounding voice, "How's bout I meet you there. You can just turn on your tracking becom on your Devil Saint key and I can find you...."
She couldn't understand why she felt so nervous all of the sudden. Maybe it was the prospect of her going somewhere with a guy, a cute one at best, and not for work. She started to blush a little.
"Just, uh, press the bottom part of the key and I can go off and...find you..."
Maggie then did what she would normally do when in a situation like this" She ran in the opposite direction.
"I'll meet you there!" she call out before she ran out of eye and ear sight.
