Jiishita looked to his wife as the temperature decreased with every step they took; he didn't like how this looked. He didn't like the silhouette of the tower in the distance and he didn't like how barren the land surrounding it was. The land was too cold to thrive; every living thing--including plant life--for miles had long vanished. There was something not right here.
He was not sure what it was--his magic did not allow him to recognize the auras of whomever lived in the tower--but his gut told him that something needed to be done about it. Not only were the Humans themselves becoming curious about the tower--Jiishita has seen far away captions of it on television--but those Mortals foolish enough to travel close to it were also disappearing. Someone didn't want their lair messed with, it seemed.
Jiishita did not expect Tomoyo to complete such a feat--she was trying to stop the war with Heaven, and she didn't particularly hate Humans--so that left either Tsubasa in Heaven, her puppet Tsubarisu, or another, separate force that would have had to been something new.
For a moment, looking at the black tower, Jiishita was reminded of the Ishii Shoko, the man who had ruined every possible relation Heaven could have had with Hell. Perhaps he was back, returned, and this was his doing? But no...Shoko had accepted his defeat at the strange, offbeat tactics of the Yami-ou long ago. He was no longer a threat, Jiishita supposed.
"Who do you think that tower belongs to, Chikara?" he asked his wife, holding her hand to reassure her despite the cold weather.

"I don't know...but that bastard must die." She had seen it publicized on international news, the little girl left from the slaughter that had left an old man dead, her grandfather. The girl was traumatized, she knew, and Chikara felt like she had to do something about it.
Right. Now.
So here she was, holding her husband's hand, using the little fire elemental magic that she was capable of doing to keep them both warm. They had to get through this stupid barrier of cold so that they could beat the shit out of whatever bitches had done it.
"There were shards of ice there before," she said, "Small ones, on the ground. I could see them even on the TV. Clearly, these people use Ice..." she let go of Jiishita's hand just for a moment, to crack her knuckles, harness as much of her elemental magic as she could muster, and grab his hand again.
There was s significant improvement in her body temperature, and she hoped, Jiishita's. They were in this together, and she knew that they would succeed.
"Whoever it is...we're going to get rid of him; chase him from this layer."

"Your slumber, over it is my darling. You have guests to deal with, Awaken...", the voice called out to Ilreg, ending his rest.
His eyes opened suddenly, the thin layer of icy sleep that sealed his eyes shut was reduced to frozen dust as he violently opened his eyes. Looking around his chamber he saw his servants Faf-ris and Cer-dra at his feet, they began rising up as he stood. Ilreg slowly began to walk to the door, as he waved his hand the larger doors that guarded his chamber slowly creaked open. As he exited his chamber into the hall he noticed to large reptilian sentries guarding his door from the outside. Both of them had chain mail covering there massive scaly chest, and axes that were sharp as they were large.
"New guardians darling, don't waste these like the last..." the voice's soothing tone suddenly became menacing, "Ignore them, tend with the interlopers on your grounds darling..." she warned.
Both the sentries blinked as Ilreg passed, the bright yellow of their iris's clashing with the ebony of their slit pupils. As Ilreg walked down the long corridor Faf-ris and Cer-dra were right at his side. as he continued his stride he noticed an abundance of reptilian creatures scurrying about his tower, some cleaning icy dust walls, others sweeping and mopping floors. As he past one smaller creature in the process of wiping down walls, the small serpent-man went to rinse his rag in the bucket, as he did Ilreg froze the bucket's water, causing the small creature to howl in pain as Ilreg smiled. His smile was cut short as a sharp pain in the back of his head caused him to stumble. He then continued his stroll and walked into a well lit room.
As he entered the room he noticed one of the serpent-men Inside the room tending to a crystal ball. He noticed Ilreg's presence and hobbled over rubbing his hands. "What news do you have for me worm." Ilreg said with a stern look on his face.
"Well master, it seems we have interlopers on the grounds, a man and a women, both of them scaleless." the servant hissed.
"For these fools she disturbs my slumber, I'll deal with this immediately." Ilreg spouted. As he began to leave the room the serpent-man interjected.
"Master come look into the ball, there is something you should see..." the serpent-man said.
As Ilreg gazed into the ball he noticed them, a man and a women. The were starkly unlike the scaleless ones Ilreg encountered before, these two possessed wings. Ilreg watched as the ball repeated their arrival to his tower. He noticed the women's disgust of his actions, as he repeated to himself what the crystal ball displayed her mouthing the very words, "Whoever it is...we're going to get rid of him; chase him from this layer.". Then he noticed that she grabbed her companion's hand, a nearly invisible veil of energy radiating off the pair.
"Trying to raise your temperature, that won't help you for too long, fools..." Ilreg said. As he looked around he called for two of the larger serpent-men in the vacinity. He gave them instructions in a very callous tone, 'There are intruders on the grounds, gather your weapons and dispose off them." Ilreg spouted. The two obliged with a nod and went to procure arms. Ilreg stood there watching the crystal ball as it was focused on the two outside.
"Let's see how they deal with this, I'll not sully my hand for nothing..." Ilreg said, watching intently and smiling cruelly.

Even as they walked together, inching a little closer to the castle than before, Chikara wanted some action. She had been cooped up in the Mortal Realm for too long without anything meaningful to do. She had been living like...well...a Mortal. And a Mortal's life was boring; it was times like those that made her almost wish that the War was actually going places and doing things.
It was with these musings that she spotted the creatures ahead of her; she couldn't make them out, at first, only see their dark outlines against the bland, colorless grass that surrounded the area. The dead grass that wouldn't grow until whomever was the head of this army was gone for good.
As the scum's army got closer, she saw them for what they were; Reptile beings on two legs wielding swords, rapiers, scythes and hammers. They seemed well armed for battl soldier. They had to be from the outer Realms. No one on the Mortal Realm fought that way anymore. None of them fought fairly, with sword and shield and skill; they all fought now with technology, each group of Humans trying to outclass the others in an attempt to rule all. Even in the Celestial War, Chikara had never seen such atrocity.
Pulling herself from her husband in haste, she reached out, fire flowing forth from her right hand, and she raised it to her eyes. Next, she took her left hand and drew it back, as though she was holding an invisitble bow.
"Soar. Straight into my enemy's heart. Go forth and seek your targets." And with that, she felt the magi building with tensity in her arms, and she left go when she could hold it back no longer.
Six balls of fire jet from her hands like bullets, each in a different direction. She knew that the dead grass would burn, and probably consume some of those useless henchment ahead of them as well as create a barrier to keep them away. She looked as two soldiers were hit dead on by the fire, and he drew her katana. She was ready.
Closing her eyes, she said, her voice layered thick with magic, "I am strong. I cannot feel pain. I will not lose. My enemy hears my call, and fears me."

As soon as Chikara had pulled her hands from his, Jiishita revealed his gun, feeling the polished, Celestial silver; he knew that not too many enemies would be able to appreciate the foreign material--perhaps they would realize how much it was worth when his bullets were flying through their foreheads.
Carefully, as the enemy approached with nowhere to hide because of the barrenness of the land, Jiishita aimed his weapon many times and fired; at times, he used the Earth as a distraction--raising a clump of the land so that the lizardmen stopped for a moment, just a moment long enough for them to not realize that there was a bullet making its way into their skull, dropping to the ground before they had known what had happened.
His wife, he saw, was burning the place; maybe some fire would be enough to counter the uttter lack of heat in this area--perhaps their opponent was afraid of fire.
In his attack, Jiishita fired a bullet through Chikara's cover of fire; he immediately felt the change in the loading of his gun--he knew that his bullets would spread fire.
He began to have a little more fun, his aim becoming a bit more careless now that he knew that even grazes would burn the reptiles' skin. With the grass burning like Mortal money, the temperature rose quickly; he also knew that several of the reptiles probably wouldn't be able to stand the constant blaze.
lizardmen are this's guy's servants?!

Ilreg watched as his minions were easily dispatched. His face was stern, unimpressed but angry at the arrogance of the intruders, "Who do these fools think they are dealing with, some peon. Scaleless fools, I am Ilreg Douisis Ofu'ul, The Prince of serpents. This transgression on my own citadel will not stand." Ilreg shouted, causing the smaller serpent sorcerer to cower. "Master, the lower sentries around the castle, their eyes are linked to all of the crystal orbalisk's on the tower's ground, they won't escape you." the minion said, as to reassure Ilreg and sooth his anger. "I know this fool, and don't ever speak to me unless i acknowledge you first, I will deal with these miscreants myself." Ilreg said looking directly at the slave. He signaled Faf-ris and Cer-Dra to follow and made his way to the top of the tower. When he reached it's zenith he looked down and watched as the winged paired finished off the rest of his minions. "Though i wish not to sully my hands, watching them choke on their own frozen blood will be quite humorous, especially when i make the women watch as her lover dies slow by my hands..." Ilreg threatened, laughing as he raised his hands to the sky. Suddenly the temperature around his tower began to drop to subzero. As Ilreg held out one of his hands, a spiral staircase off Ice surrounded the tower. Ilreg began walking down to greet the intruders. Arriving the ground he was now facing his opponents. Standing 20 feet away, Faf-ris and Cer-dra were at his as he began to size up his opponents. Ilreg began to smile cruelly, "Telling winged one's, have you come here because you tire of life, do you both seek to have your wings clipped by my icy touch." Ilreg goaded. "You come to my citadel, speaking of chasing me away, well i assure you I have no intention of leaving, but before you display your meager abilities against my own, humor me, who sent you, or is this a fool's errand of seeking justice for those i have slain?" Ilreg asked. "I smell the stench of Sanada Tomo upon these two, get rid of them my love..." the voice said softly to Ilreg. Ilreg smiled as if to oblige. "Faf-ris, Torrential Howl!" Ilreg yelled, prompting the servant to let loose a fearsome howl, followed by a flood of water that seemed to appearer from the air at everyone's feet from the beasts mouth. "With this much moisture let's see you use your paltry flames now." Ilreg said arrogantly. "Cer-dra, Delumination!" Ilreg commanded, causing the other servant to growl, prompting black smoke to appear, eventually causing the area surrounding the tower to disappear into darkness, leaving only a 20 foot perimeter around the combatants. With his servants poised to attack, Ilreg smile seemed to disappear, "Your life was forfeit when you came here, answer my question if you wish to keep it." he commanded with a face of stone. Ilreg then held out his hand and began to form a rapier from ice. "Well then, let the games begin..." Ilreg said with a face seemingly carved from ice.

Jiishita refused to allow these two creatures--whatever these beasts proper names were--to separate him from Chikara. They would not be moved.
Twirling his gun into his holster, he quickly raised his hands up to the sky, watching as shade immediately swallowed him; he had raised a wall of earth from the dead ground before him to part the water streaming in his direction. It was at this moment that he truly felt the loss of the land he was standing on; there truly was no life in it at all, and even though he was using it, it wouldn't last very much longer. His elemental magic was already weak--he had focused so much more on his other abilties--and this lackluster dirt wasn't going to make this any better.
However, it was enough. Enough so that, even in the darkness that began to shroud him due to the other wretched creature, he could feel that he and his wife were both safe from the torent of water. Now Jiishita set his mind to think about the darkness. How could he be rid of it?
"Your life was forfeit when you came here, answer my question if you wish to keep it." this man that stood tall over the creatures, he was the one in charge; Jiishita could feel it with every fiber that comprised his form. This stranger had asked their names, whom they were working for.
So it was the surrounding darkness that Jiishita spoke to, and not to this mangy cur.
"We have come for ourselves, with the small hope of correcting the damage that scum like yourself do to this Earth."

Chikara couldn't believe this shit--for lack of a better Human word--and she meant it wholeheartedly. How could he just march out of his large, horrendously imposing black fortress and demand to know where they were from.Who they were working for.
She was glad that Jiishita actually spoke before her, because her answer would have been to tell him that they were working for whichever being wanted to put their foot up his ass the most.
Jiishita seemed to have everything covered, his Earth blocking the water that had spewed forth from one of those foul creatures' mouths. The darkness before them still needed to be cleared, the smoke creating a shroud almost too perfect for this pompous asshole to actually pick off her and her husband as separate targets.
She could still see him, though, and she hid in the darkess--or at least, in as close to Jiishita as possible. And she said, he words layered as thick in magic as she could, "Your lack of light is for naught. You can not overcome the light. One brighter than all that you have seen before... And as she spoke, orbs of light began to appear, spreading out in directions.
"We will tell you Nothing!"

"You will tell me everything I want!" Ilreg shouted over the noise of gushing water and breaking earth.
"Faf-nis, fill the air with mist, Cer-dra attack and destroy those accursed light orbs before they remove all of my shroud of darkness, the woman is mine..." Ilreg said with a sick smile spreading across his face. He then began to focus his energy into the icy rapier in his hand. Ilreg then commenced to slash at the misty air, aiming toward his opponents, causing shards of ice to fly in various directions.
"Make them talk, make them scream my love, hehehehehee!", the voice shrieked in Ilreg's head.
"Who is Sanada Tomo? Answer me now winged fool if you value her life!" Ilreg shouted at Jiishita, patientce virtually nonexistent in his voice.

She could hear the commands being given to his servant-beasts with anger. Who did he think that he was fighting? A pair of ants? That was the problem with lower forms--they refused to accept what thety truly were in comparison to something great. They made excuses, they played dirty, and they were pathetic.
Chikara's mind raced as she heard te commands come from the cruel man's mouth. She almost wished for a second that she still had the ability to manipulate the present with her will; that was something that would come in handy at the moment. She would have tried o her best to dispatch the two slaves with it...
But that was not a option. She had to rely on the magic that she had learned from the Mortals. And she was sure that it was going to work.
"Strengthen the Light; It is untouchable, something greater than these fools could ever hope to grasp" And with those words, the orbs of light became transparent, intangible. That infermal beast would not able to grab it, let alone destroy it.
It wasn't until after she cast her word-spell that she realized that there were shards of ice coming from all directions.
She said quickly, her wording more sloppy than she wanted because she had been caught off guard. "Heavy. Those shards are weary, tired of being used for such malicious deeds. Weighted by the qualms of this world, there is no reason for them to remain afloat."
The Shards flying towards her dropped, and she sighed briefly, ready to keep her guard up for anything else.
This man had said, "The woman is mine," and she was sure that it wasn't just a threat.

Because his beloved had already taken care of their defenses, had already dropped the ice shards that had been attacking them, he was ready with a spell of attack, something that the man in front of him would not be able to avoid with his petty elemental magic. Something that would hurt.
"Gust. A strong burst to push the enemy back, to keep him away. Wind so strong it breaks bonds; wind so strong it cuts skin, wing, and scale. Wind that cannot be denied. Blasting through all defense and to the root ofthis evil!".
The wind that spawned from his words was so strong that even he had to use his wings to help keep him steady. However, he was sure that it was worth it. He was through underestimating his enemy. He could no longer afford to, with threats being made about his wife. She was gutsy, and she could easily handle herself despite her cocky nature, but he was worried for her all the same.
Another good thing came with the wind; it began to blow the hazy mist that had been generated away, sweeping a little of the darkness with it, though it wasn't as easily moved.
Damned magical darkness! Tomo, you had better be grateful for this!
It was with that thought that he began to ponder--why keep the location of Sanada Tomo away from this stranger? He was sure that the Yami-ou would show this swine what true darkness was; he had seen it once--the full, unrestrained force of Tomo, and he did not want to see it again--however, why stop the enemy from seeing it?
But he said nothing, knowing that his wife wouldn't approve. She was friends with Tomo just as much as he, if not more--she would protect is identity even just on principle.
He fucking owes me a layer when I tell him about this...

The sudden gust of wind reversed the direction of the shards back to Ilreg. Too fast to dodge, Ilreg ran head on into them, as to half the impact with his increasing momentum, even managing to deflect several of the larger shards with his rapier, but the damage was done as his body was riddled with several cuts and scrapes. Ilreg immediately stopped once the ice stopped flying at him, a look of sudden anger overtook his face, "You pathetic filth, do you think that your plebeian incantations, and spells you learned from the worms of this world can hurt me! I am the lord of the Dragons, not the scum your accustomed to, and i think it's time you understood that." As he stood their the smaller shards of ice that remained stuck in his skin began to melt and cover the wounds, suddenly a thin veil of energy enveloped Ilreg's body, "Really now did you think I would be stopped by my own element...", Ilreg said as he began to laugh maniacally, dropping his sword. In no less than a moment his injuries were healed, and he began to clench his fists, glowing brighter by the second, "Faf-ris go deep, Subterranean Tsunami, Cer-dra, begin Ebony Earth!" he commanded as he began to levitate, unclenching his fists. That very moment Faf-ris burrowed deep into the ground, follow by Cer-dra moving under when Ilreg was floating sinking it's paws into the cold, wet earth, dispeling the color of the earth in similar fashion to the darkness created in the air earlier in the battle. Soon the grounds surrounding Ilreg's tower took on an opaque tinge, as if all the color was drained from it, followed by pools of opaque water, as they began to spring forth, signifying that the grounds have been flooded. "Now you will see true power, ARCTIC GRAVEYARD!!!" Ilreg screamed as he froze the water in the darkened earth, and suddenly the area was flooded with huge, icy opaque obelisks, their range extending in all directions, due to to Faf-ris flooding the area with water from underground. Ilreg then descended to the ground, taking cover among the dark obelisks. "You can't hide forever, if you worms even survived..." Ilreg said.

Chikara had felt the tremors as the earth gave birth to the frozen obelisks, and Chikara frowned; she didn't know if she could dodge all of them.
She leapt backward, hastily, trying to avoid the frozen chunk of dirt that sprung out below her. She was forced to leap back without looking several times; the obelisks were just coming out of nowhere.
She launched, suddenly, remembering her wings, wanting to get away from those wretched obstructions. But she wasn't fast enough; there was one coming out right behind her and she wasn't moving fast enough to avoid it and she braced herself to feel the pain of it going through her right wing--
But she felt nothing, only a strain as the pillar impacted with something invisible.
A shield? she thought. Where-- Then she remembered. The spell she cast before. The shield. In the very begining.
Still flying as she thought, she was clear of the obelisks, but they had come up far higher than she had expected them; this guy's ice magic was strong. But not as strong as her Mortal magic. She had studied it far too long.
She smiled for a sliver of a moment before realizing that Jiishita wasn't in the sky with her. She turned, frantic, tears coming into her eyes--those things were thick enough at the base to rip him to pieces. She began to fly about, in a large circle over the area of the attack. It was madness, like a plague of ice had overtaken the land. How could she find Jiishita in all of that?
"Jiishita!!!" she cried out, panicking. He had to be somewhere.
"You can't hide forever, if you worms even survived..." the dark voice echoed from below, his voice amplified by the obelisks, repeating themselves a thousand times over in Chikara's ears.
She couldn't take it; she screamed.
"Shut up! Shut up YOU BASTARD!!!" She flew around some more, looking for him. Searching for her beloved. She was still screaming, her voice reaching a squeal that she had not heard from herself in years. "He's ALIVE!! And when I find him, WE'RE GOING TO KILL YOU TOGETHER!! I'll rip you LIMB FROM LIMB!! And I'll sever your head and MAKE YOUR SERVANTS EAT IT!! I'll KILL YOU!!!"

Jiishita had felt the obelisks coming, he felt the servant reaching into the ground and he felt the soil being saturated with water.
But the attack was not what he had seen coming.
Spinning, he formed a cacoon of earth with the wet soil, forcing it to harden with the cold weather around him into a fortress of Earth that would cage him, that would keep him safe.
He felt the obelisks as they were coming out of the ground, and he hoped that Chikara was safe. He had seen her leaping back from the formations briefly before his view had been blocked, before he could no longer see anything. He tucked his wings beside him and waited. There was nothing else that he could do.
He counted to moments in obelisks. He could feel them as they rose, one by one, each reaching high towards the sky, higher than he could probably raise the earth without wasting valuable--
An obeilsk crashed through his sphere of Earth as though it had been made out of clay, and he felt a sharp pain in his wing.
That's a broken wing... he thought, as the mind-numbing pain took over his senses.
His fortress of soil slowly fell apart without his concentration to keep it in place. And he fell, feeling a ripping sensation across his wing as he did so, impacting with the hard, crystal-like base of another obelisk.
He looked up, his vision blurred due to lack of light and his own injury; he could see the blood oozing not only from his left wing, but there was a large gash in his side as well--the obelisk has pierced through a portion of his waist, and he felt the warm blood flowing freely.
His first thought was one of self-hypnosis, one to help ease the pain enough for him to still fight. Chikara was still counting on him.
"Zero. I feel nothing; I feel no--" he coughed, swallowing blood as it threated to creep up upon his lips.
He heard a harsh scream in the distance. Would anyone be able to find him in the maze of obeliks?
"Chikara..." he whispered, trying to stand on the opaque, icy growth.

"Hahahahaa..." Ilreg's sick laugh seemed to permeate the landscape, reverberating from the myriad amount of obelisks on the ground. "Chikara... Hahahaha. Is that your name woman? Will you continue to cower behind your shield suspended in the air while your lover is on the ground bleeding?" Ilreg taunted. "You cowardly winged harlot... hahahahaha."
Ilreg began to kneel to the ground and put his hand on one of the icy protrusion's. He closed his eyes, attuned with the ice he created, as if to track his opponents location. "I can hear your blood drop from your mouth as it freezes to the ground fool, and when I find you Jiishita, I will freeze your fluids slowly, and make that whore watch as you die an excruciating death, hahahaha." Ilreg said as he began to stand under the cover of the opaque obstructions.
Suddenly Ilreg began moving hastily in no particular direction, navigating easily through the icy catacombs, "Faf-ris find the male and capture him, hold him till I command you to release." Ilreg said as he suddenly came to a stop, crouching as he began to focus. "Cer-dra, at my command..." he continued, waiting to take action.
Faf-ris began to move through the earth, and as the ice that Jiishita was stood on began to melt under the pressure of his weight, the dark colored water began to act as a homing beacon to Faf-ris, as the beast drew closer.
"You pathetic, ranting, lunatic, you will kill no one today Chikara, I will make good on my words today, and you will learn that the magic of these lowly mortals you've seemed to mimic so well is nothing compared to the might of a Dragon." Ilreg said loudly, as the echoes generated by the obelisks catacombs continued to mask his voice.

Jiishita may have been hurt, badly, but he heard Ilreg's tirade, the verbal lances that had been thrown at his wife, and he hoped that she wouldn't take the bait. He could take good care of himself, and he would certainly call for her if he needed her.
He did not, however, have the time to tell her that he was alive. There was no time for that at all. He knew that one of those wretched dog-dragons were approaching to kill him, and he did not have the desire to die at the moment.
He swallowed the blood that was in his mouth, viciously spitting out what wouldn't go down his throat to clear his mouth of it. He was still Celestial, and even without his servant he would have been trackable; Celestial blood was very different from Mortal blood.
His lungs clear, he decided to try to cast his spell again. He had to move; he had to do something before the servant got to him; Chikara would not be able to make good decisions with him as a hostage, and they would lose this fight. But he did not too--this being had hurt too many Mortals.
"Zero," he began again. "I feel nothing. There is nothing. No pain, no emotion, no weight. When I feel nothing I cannot be defeated..." With those words alone Jiishita's wounds began to feel lighter, like they were healing. However, he held his hand against the wound, even when a few moments had passed and he no longer felt anything.
He could only get so far with his spell without proper healing.
Without pain to stop him, he climbed out from the location of that particular obelisk and looked around; all the obelisks together created a sense of haze, even though there was none. The opaque objects stood tall, and Jiishita moved from obstruction to obstruction, hoping that he could avoid capture.

Now that he had called her a raving lunatic there was no turning back. She would show him what a lunatic really was. Jiishita's health was not a joke to her, and she would show them that.
She flew down from her place in the sky, landing on the tip of one of the obelisks before her. Once there, she unsheathed her two katana from the scabbards on her back. As she did this, she shouted, "You WILL NOT defeat me. You WILL NOT kill me. I am UNSTOPPABLE. I am INVINCIBLE. I CANNOT feel pain. I am the most powerful Warrior!"
She could not yet tell where he was, but the self-hypnosis that she had just put herself under would surely be helpful; she was not physically invincible, but the spell made her believe that she was, and she would not fight him with fear for anything. Gone were the doubts about Jiishita's life. He was alive, simply because there was no more room for doubts about his being dead.
Taking her stance she said quickly, "Lightning! Force yourself down upon this wretched frozen land! You despair, because there is no escape! In the light you can see the monster you truly are! In the light your maleficent nature is revealed to YOU![/i]" She screamed the last word over the loud backfire of lightning falling heavily from the sky, a bright, vibrant red to represent her now controlled anger. The lightning struck one of the obelisks, running a large crack through it with the impact.
"Again!" she shouted, over, and over, each lightning strike descending in an attempt to find either their opponent or one of his servants.

The lightning began to strike the dark, icy landscape erratically, causing Ilreg to greatly reevaluate his plan. Thoughts ran through his head, clouding his judgment. would he continue to hold his position, waiting for the moment to attack, or sacrifice his stealth and began to move, potentially being seen by Chikara, amidst her battle lust. Before he could make a decision, a loud crack riddled the air, followed by a horrific mixture or howling and a roar. The open hole made By Faf-ris to flood the the ground, its water acting as a conductor, was struck by one of the random bolts. The lighting traveled with great haste throughout the tunnel, striking Faf-ris before it could surface to attach Jiishita. A sharp pain racked Ilreg, his servant being wounded, he grew angry beyond the display he had shown earlier. Unlike Chikara, Ilreg's anger had not caused him to go mad with rage. Ilreg remained crouching, as he closed his eyes, he tried to felt the rhythmic pulse in his mind of Faf-ris underneath the opaque earth. As Ilreg opened his eyes, he noticed the integrity of his icy obstructions started to weaken, the lightning bolt striking them at their focal point underground, as he noticed small cracks in the ice. Ilreg face was stone, he knew what must be done, banishing away the little doubt about his servant's life. "If the Faf-ris perishes, then so be it, but this will not go unchecked." Ilreg said to himself, preparing for his actions. Taking in Jiishita's location on the ice, Ilreg began to move within the catacombs with great speed. "Chikara, here me now, for these will be the last words of mine you hear if you perish on this day. You come here to my citadel, with your lover in tow to dispence what you deem to be justice for those I have wronged, let me ask you this, what is the difference between the lives of my men and one feeble old man?" Ilreg said continuing his random erratic movement. "You showed up with no probable cause, and laid waste to my servents, like they were nothing, do you know why? Because they were weak, they could not best you and therefore they deserved to die. No one is above death, but as long your aren't beneath the blade of your opponent, you doing quite alright. You seemed to agree, attacking unprovoked so what is the difference between your actions and mine?" Ilreg continued, stopping to avoid a lighting strike that destroyed an obelisk in front of him. Regaining his bearings he continued his run around the catacombs. "The answer is this, your too weak to admit what your are, a monster. You fool yourself with self induced delusions of invincability, you need not be invincable to win, just the better of the combatants, and unfortunatly for you, being the best against me is always a lie." Ilreg said stopping his run getting a glance at the pillar on which she stood. Ilreg braced himself, chaneling all the cold in the area closest to Jiishita, the still and freezing air acting as a conduit for the random lightning, and then leaped into the air in Chikara's direction. "CER-DRA NOW, THE EBONY BLADE!!!" Ilreg commanding, as the unscathed minion remaining in the same position since the beginning of the fight grabbed the blade Ilreg dropped earlier in the fight with it's mouth, turning the rapier a very dark, glossy black, tossing it toward the flying tyrant. Ilreg, still flying at Chikara caught the sword, smiling a cruel smile, made several swipes in the direction of Chikara's wing's and hands, his graceful movements resembling a brief dance with arm's swift, yet elegant movement. "This battle is over..." Ilreg said before he past her, landing on an adjacent obelisk, several feet away from Chikara. Ilreg, now directly facing Chikara, began levitating his sword, as to taunt her further.

Chikara felt a shudder move through her body as a flash of lightning found a target. She stopped attacking then, satisfied that she had hit something. Her opponent named it "Faf-ris", and she knew then once and for all that she had not hit Jiishita. Then he began to taunt her.
His words meant nothing to her. Chikara wasn't even listening as he spoke. She supposed that because of the tone of his voice, he was supposed to be mocking her. He was too good of a fighter for him to waste time speaking when he could have been attacking her. She braced herself, knowing that something was coming.
He called out his attack suddenly, "The Ebony Blade", and it was only then that Chikara realized that she did not know the direction from which he would come at her, what with the remaining obelisks magnifying and hiding the origin of his voice.
She stood at the ready, gripping the frozen obelisk as much as possible as she tried to stand her ground.
Her attacker flew at her from behind, his blade now black as he swung at her. Chikara turned swiftly, using her two katana to block the blows as much as possible. More specifically, she blocked the blows to her wings. Her arms and hands she didn't defend as well, and they were soaked in blood soon after the encounter had began; but because of her spell, she didn't feel it, and she fought just as efficiently as ever.
Before she could go to the offensive, he jumped away from her, landing several feet away from her.
She faced his direction and pursued him for attack, striking out at his legs with her katana and moving upward to his chest and arms.

That was his chance.
He had seen the beast before him that had been injured by Chikara's lightning, and he knew that there was another one yet to be dealt with. With his spell slowly numbing his body to his already sustained injuries, he stood--more easily than he thought he was going to, honestly--and practically ran through the forest of obelisks in the direction that he had seen his opponent's sword thrown up from.
The obelisks were frozen and risen fragments of the earth, and he readily used his Earthen magic to clear the fallen and destroyed pieces from his path. He had to give it to Chikara; she was holding her own, and he could ask her for no more than that.
Holding his injured side with his left hand, he used his right to pull out Perseus, and he said, cocking the barrel, "This bullet flies true to the heart of the enemy." With this creature's Master preoccupied by Chikara, Jiishita was sure that he would have a real chance at getting a shot through.
He fired the gun several times, the bullets flying though the clear path that he had created by moving the obelisks out of his way, and he hoped that at least one of them would hit the beast.
After firing, he climbed slowly up the side of an obelisk, using his unharmed wing to help propel him--albeit unsteadily--to the top, so that he could see Chikara fighting their opponent.
