Felicia did not have much to say while in this place. everyone who had entered the bar possessed an aura of power; many diverse readings. Some were the same as her sister, others were below her, and others were higher--even the lion cubs emanated some power, though it was even less than her own.
But the man sitting behind them scared her the most. The commanding way that he bothered to pay for almost anyone's meal; how had ordered even his companions...it scared her.
"I don't like that man..." she said quietly. "I don't who he is or what he's doing..." she shivered a little before deciding that so long as he was in a cordial mood, he would be alright. He was decidedly not here to trash the place, or else he would have done so already.
Turning to the cubs that had asked for her to play with them, she smiled, deciding to change into her black kitten's form. Ignoring the cry that she knew would rise from her sister, she threw herself upon the growing pile of infants, and meowed. Finding playmates like this was a diamond in the rough.

There was a resounding "Here here!" From everyone who had heard Tomo's offer of paying for all.
But the three little cubs tustling on the counter weren't paying attention to that. As the black kitty came into view, falling on top of their makeshift pile. Quitara was the first to jump up, tackling her and sliding right in front of the man who was making the food.
Her parents looked on from the doorway, and she knew that she was in trouble.

"Well the barkeep acknowledge me first." She said it in a snob way and narrowed her eyes at the lady complaining. She noticed the young girl that was next to her changing into a black cat.
Well thats something you don't see everyday. I thought youkai's like that stayed in the Mythical Realm.
Rosey noticed to that the lady she replied to wasn't a human either. Come to think of it, she could sense that most of the people here wasn't human. The only one who was human was the lady who was working at the bar. She wondered if anyone noticed the girls transformation.

Arashi turned on his heels looking around for someone to talk to..it wouldn't be long before there was no one capable of talking so he decided he'd better get to know the group quickly. But first..since drinking seemed so popular with this group he decided he'd better get a taste of the stuff sooner or later, but, that would have to wait until the two ladies at the counter were served...since the guy at the bar was stuck on Rosey and the at the bar was a bit annoyed.
Taking into account the group had at least acknowledge him and most accepted him as a comrade he made his pick on who he'd talk to. Guess I'll start Tarion...since he obviously doesn't trust me I'd better try to get to know him. he smiled as he reached the table that Tarion and Cairo were siting at. Though the smile was fake he was sure it was real enough to be accepted.
"Mind if I sit with you guys? He for a chair at their table.

Tarion looked at the boy quizzically, as though to say, "You are kidding, right?" but kept such thoughts to himself.
Cairo sniffed at the boy, as though he were a piece of meat, and said, "You know...you're a human," as though the child in front of him hadn't been aware of this affliction. "You should do something about that."
It was this that spurred Tarion into interaction on behalf of the boy. "Cairo, you arrogant bag of flesh; his being human isn't what makes him untrustworthy. You could be untrustworthy, you neko supporting son-of-a-bitch."
Being a neko youkai, Cairo was seriously insulted by this comment. "And that would make me your brother, would it?"
But Tarion was older, and wasn't taking the bait. "You can't denounce him because he's human. Neko youkai will never rule the tribes; that's a piece of information that you need to get over already. You need to not trust him because he just spent five minutes speaking to that asshole, Tomo."
"Oh, so we should denounce the one paying for our meal instead of one of the race that outsted us from the Mortal Realm in the first place, eh? Not bloody likely." Cairo turned his head in the opposite direction of the boy, as though he'd had enough. "I want a bloody drink."
Tarion's serious, onyx colored eyes raged fiercely at this boy's. "What is your name? What did you want to see us for? Is there a message from the idiot over there?" he jerked his head in the Yami-ou's direction.

Runa was not the best person to mess with at the moment. Her sister had haphazardly changed into her youkai form and was now rough housing with some lion cubs--everyone who had entered the bar was taking their toll on the place, and giving up the identities of their magical natures while they were at it. The only one had kept in character was herself and the girl beside her, whom she had wanted to get to know before she'd started cutting before her in line.
"I don't care who he called on first. I was here first and my order should be taken accordingly." she said. She was trying to be diplomatic about this, but the girl didn't seem to be listening.
"As I said, no one is paying for my meal, so I don't want to have to wait for you all to eat this young man out of house and home before I get what I want!"

Tomo, from his seat behind Rosey, said--loud enough for everyone to hear, "...why don't you just calm down, toots; you can count your order paid as well. That's enough gold to pay for three times as much as we're going to eat. Just you wait and see."

Now that the young woman's tab had been taken care of, Lavi was sure that he would have a chance at her attention. He couldn't really blame Tomo for calming her down; she really did seem like she was going to fight the fae--or at least that's what Tomo identified her as--for her dinner. He was a bit skeptical about the younger sister changing into a cat just to play with the triplets, but still, enough was enough, and he decided to let it go. Unless the young bartender/kitchen boy didn't bother to start freaking out, all would be well.
"So...like I said, what's a cute feline like you doing in a place like this?" his voice was calm, suave, ready to get this cat in the bag...

"I'm trying to enjoy myself, if you would hurry up and keep out from over my shoulder. I'm here with my sister. That's it and that piece certainly has nothing to do with you." She knew where this was going, and she was going to shut it down fast. "I'm already spoken for, if that's what you were going to butter me up with compliments to ask. I have someone already and it isn't nor will it ever be you. So why don't you just enjoy that meal that gentleman is going to buy for you and call it a day?"

It would be a lie to say he'd expected a warm response..but this was more then he expected. The level of pent up aggression in these to was obnoxious. Tarion was untrusting to the point of needless altercation and Cairo wasn't bad..unless you counted his disdainful mention of Arashi's humanity. Well...at least he considers me human. Even though I don't quite enjoy the company of cats... Attempting to seem unaffected by the show of overflowing disgust at his being there arashi continued to smile, wondering how to speak with two creatures that obviously despised him from the start. well. here goes nothing Staring back into the dark absolute black that was Tarions gaze Arashi pushed forth the whole of his bravado. His eyes completely level with Tarions and his voice calm.
"I was just informed that we are likely to work together in the future. So I decided to speak with you and get to know the group I'll be spending my days in this realm with. I am called Mishiranu Arashi and will be performing as your guide in the mortal realm."
let's hope I don't have them hating me more. Arashi pulled a chair slowly as it would give time for their response. Maybe I'll talk to that cute one hitting on the barboy next..

Rosey ignored the women and was happy that the guy next to her was taking her attention away from her. She really didn't feel like having to break out her sword on someone tonight before she went to bed. She wished that the bartender would hurry up and get her order. The faster she got drunk the faster she'll be going to bed.
She started to play with her hair to past the time. She had to adjust her self so she wasn't sitting on her hair.

Arcana waltzed in, going straight for the bar. She loved not being an official priestess anymore—she could do what she wanted, and that included drinking. Seeing a cute boy working the bar, speaking with a brown haired customer, she sat down next to Lavi, her dull, iron colored hair still catching some light.
“Hello, darling,” she said to the boy happily, “Are you on the menu?”
Her friend Tethe’alla sat quietly as her friend began speaking with the boy. She asked quietly, “Do you have any beef? I’ve taken a liking to Mortal beef…a hamburger. Yes. That’s what I want.” It felt good for her to say that. She loved expressing her individual freedom. However, both girls, while behaving cordially, knew that the neko sitting beside Lavi—rather, the girl’s little sister—seemed to have an exceptional amount of power. They weren’t on duty tonight, but still…it was hard to ignore such an energy from from another youkai.
***** Zeshin's attention was being pulled in 80 different directions at once. The apperent leader of the pack's display of sheer arogance in throwing money around was taken to heart by Maia.
"Sir if you please, don't slam money on the counter, it can be seen as offensive to us simple folks." Maia said in a slightly annoyed voice as she divided it up into a small organized piles, proceding to put it in her apron. "Zeshin mind the counter for me, I'm going to grab some Eagle's Claw for our rowdy guests." Maia annouced looking directly at Tomo before turning around as she went to the back.
Now Zeshin's attention was at the tap. With much haste and precaution, he filled at least 30 mugs of Dragon Ale, accompanying them with several shots of Eagle Claw. "Here you go everyone." said Zeshin, looking directly at the promiscuous, young women Arcana. "No i'm not on the menu..." stammered Zeshin nervouly. Blushing he wished to take the attention of himself, noticing the crowds constant stream of orders he began to annouce, "ONE AT A TIME!"
"Chimera Patties are the special, free Shards if you shut up and get your small animals of the bar, and other animals in their seats." he said with a slight smile, listening to the murmurs and slight snickers of the other patrons.

Arcana pouted. "Oh, fooey," she said. Moping for a moment before once again flashing her lascivious smile, she quipped in response next, "Does that mean you're free of charge for little old me?" she fluttered her eyelashes at him, staring at his back even as he turned away to work the taps, adding just a hint of magic to her stare so that he could feel it.
Tethe'alla snickered. "Please, Kay, leave the poor boy alone. I want my hamburger without his disdain all over it."
"Hush, Alla," Arcana snapped back with a smile. "Your burger will be fine, don't worry."
Ishmael said sharply to Arcana. "How dare you speak with your priestess in such a way, I oughta--"
"Shut up Ishmael," Tethe'alla said harshly, and Ishmael laid his head down on the counter of the bar. Tethe'alla had always been particular about how people treated Arcana.
Arcana whistled loudly at the boy.
Lavi, next to them, looked like he was going to cry. He had been coldly rejected. Coldly. Without any kindness or gentleness.
"Fine, bitch, do what you want; you don't have to be such an ass about it."
Near the entrance, Quinn and Quen's eyes narrowed momentarily as the bartender called their children animals. However, their expressions softened a bit as they heard the rest of his joke. They wouldn't be drinking anything this night--they would enjoy themselves later, when the rest of the group wasn't acting like idiots.
Taryn caught the wrestling animals and held them in her arms, counting. One...two...three...four? There shouldn't be--ah, the cat...not ours. The child was a cute kitten, though, and apparently, she didn't mind wrestling with lion cubs. Rising from her space by the bar, she found an empty table in the middle of the bar and laid all four children on it to play.

Rosey took her drink as the barkeep was placing them on the counter and sipped at it a little and was careful not to get any of it on her nose. It was a bit stronger than the a lot of the mortal drinks she tried but it couldn't beat that drink she had the other night. The taste on the other wasn't that great but better than most beers she had but it went down smoothly. She was happy though that she finally got her drink and bobbed a little as if she had music in her head as she chugged it. When she was done, she smacked her lips and slammed the cup down. "Damn! Finally i'm getting some alcohol in my system!"
She could care less if she a bit loud, it wasn't like she was the only one making a lot of noises. Grabbing another mug of the Dragon Ale off the counter, she asked, "When is the food going to be ready? I really don't want to get drunk before I get my food. I might not be able to eat what I ordered if I got drunk before I get my food."

With much haste, Zeshin prepared a plethora of Chimera Patties, Shards, and countless Griffin Arms. He served everyone they're orders, starting with the beautiful Rosey, trying to smile as he served her.
"Sorry about the wait ma'am, i made you Chimera a double, i hope you like it." Zeshin said, almost fumbling the tray off Griffin Arms he was carrying in addition to Rosey's order.
As the night went on, the more and more the people drank, they more they ate, and he felt fatigued after carrying the huge tray of Griffin Arms to the table of the man his mother deemed Rude earlier. "200 Griffin Arms Tomo-San, hope you enjoy." Zeshin said making his way back to the bar.
Before he got to the counter, he noticed the Inu-jin from earlier still nursing the same drink. "Has he been here all night with the same drink?" Zeshin said with much surprise. He began to make his way over to him, as he hoped he hadn't neglected him during all the commotion.
"Sir, would you like to order anything else, I'm sorry I have been to check on you." Zeshin said very apologetically.
"No, I'm fine..." said the stranger as he proceeded to finish the drink in one gulp. "Eagle Claw's pretty good here..." the stranger said still looking down at the bar.
Zeshin noticed a long sword resting at the side of the stranger. "Umm sir, if you don't mind my intrusion, where did you get that blade." Zeshin said, taking time to walk around where the stranger was sitting to get a better look at the sword. "I won't say anything to mom but we have a no weapon's policy here at Karrasi." Zeshin began, but was interrupted.
"Hey boy, bring me another one of those Eagle Claw's!" said a rowdy patron.
"Don't worry boy i won't give you any trouble I'm waiting for someone in town, just thought I'd have a drink before i saw them." said the stranger very casually. "Bring me one more Eagle Claw, i promise i wont take as long with this one." the stranger said with a smile.
"Zeshin!" his Maia cried from the kitchen, "Hurry dear, these patties aren't done and were close to closing, I need your help now!"
He took one last look at the sword, "Coming Mother!" he yelled. He looked at the stranger, "I'll be right back with your drink." he said, as he ran back to the kitchen. Flipping the rest of the patties, he began to notice the stove was going out, "Oh man not now, I don't have time to go get more wood." Zeshin said as he wiped the sweat from his brow with is apron.
Time was growing short, people were to be served, the bar was to be closed, his mother was to be helped, and now the stove's fire was dying. "Okay, I can do this." Zeshin said, reassuring himself. He concentrated on the still pink, uncooked meat before him. He took in a deep breath as he made sure his mother was out of sight. "Here goes..." he whispered to himself, as he held his hands over the grill. At first, nothing happened. "Focus, you can do this..." Zeshin repeated to himself, and then he heard a slight sizzle, heat began to rise from the grill, as the the once raw meat began to brown. "I'm doing it." Zeshin said happily.
"Zeshin what's taking you..." Maia said walking into the kitchen breaking Zeshin's trance, startling him greatly. "By Umahtab boy, flip those patties and serve them." she said.
"Yes mother." Zeshin said happily as he flipped and prepared the last food of the night with much flair. As he served the last of the Chimera's, and give the Inu-jin his Eagle Claw, he smiled to himself announcing to the bar, "Karrasi is about to close folks."

Rosey smiled back to the bartender as he gave her food. She immediately dived into her food, and devoured one of the plates she ordered as soon as she got them. She took a sip from her dragon ale before moving on to the other plates. As soon as she got done eating she finished off her drink, wiped her face and sighed.
"That was good. Hey barkeep, could I have one more drink before I go up to my bed. Please. Just one more." These drinks weren't making her drunk as fast as the drinks she had the other night, but she started to feel a little buzzed.

Tomo left the Griffin Arms to the guests of rowdy allies that he was accompanying. He didn't bother to touch any; he wasn't very hungry. When one was a demon, food wasn't really a necessity, anyway.
Watching his companions partake of the food that had been presented to them, he wondered briefly what was going on in Heaven. He hadn't heard anything from them collectively for a long time, and he wasn't sure that such a thing was good. His last trip to Heaven was to enlighten Hotaka to Heaven's treachery over the years, not only to its own people but it's creators, and the races that it supported. The Races that had given them purpose.
Taking a swig of the glass before him, he decided, in that blink of an eye, to try the Dragon Ale. Rising from his seat, he walked up to the counter and grabbed one of the remaining mugs and decided try it.
Taking a gulp, he didn't expect the rough patch that hit his throat. It had been a while since he'd tried Mortal liquor, and he swallowed the first taste hard, a frown on his face. Looking at the remainder of the ale, he made a dissatisfied face before taking the rest down in one gulp, the drink burning like the fires that Mortal told of in tales of Hell. But there was a sweetness there, too.
Taking a look at the empty glass, he looked at the kitchen/bar boy, and he said, "Hey. This is kinda good. I like it. Give me another. I want to see you make it." Taking a seat at the bar next to Ishmael, he smiled contentedly. "No effect," he said, "But I like the taste."

Alpha pounded the table with his fist. "I asked for Raw meat!!! Where is it? Is it that hard for you to take a two pieces of uncooked meat and throw them on a plate?"
His sister, Zeta, joined him at the counter, both of them in agreeance on this issue.
"I really don't think it should be that hard. And my brother did ask you all politely. It should not have taken this long, and you've served everyone else. You're announcing your closing time before you've served all of your customers. I can't believe this treatment. I have half a mind to tell Tomo to take his stupid ass coins back. What the hell is the problem with you all?"
Kisharu bit into his Grffin's Arm, content. The food was good here, though he really was concerned about the lack of service to his friends.
"You could just eat it cooked..." he said to them, his voice drifting.
"NO!" they said together. "We will eat what we want. It's been paid for, hasn't it? Why shouldn't we have what we want...?"

Arashi left the uncomfortable atmosphere surrounding Tarion and headed for the bar, snatching up a mug of ale as he sat down. Geez. I'm hungry. and I hate to accept this..but I need a drink
He took a brave gulp of what he knew would be a harsh first swig of the auburn fluid and braced himself for the burning of his sobriety. He watched the enraged yokai shouting about their raw meat. The poor guy probably figured they were kidding when they asked for the meat raw Unable to mask his amusement his grin fell slightly into the realm of a malicious sadism before he caught himself and remembered the more discrete of the Taverns patronage. Rising from his seat he made his way toward the dark skinned stranger sat watching the black kitten carefully. He of course wore a kind and reassuring smile as he sat near her, taking another daring swig from the mug to further decrease his sober and care full nature.
"Hello miss.. I'm called Mishiranu Arashi..may i ask yu for your name"
He extended his hand casually..remembering her behavior toward Lavi's playful advance and her mood. answer me nicely or me and Lavi will fuckin hang you

Rosey found the two people's anger amusing and started laughing, knocking an empty mug over on the other side of the counter where it shattered. She found that to be amusing too and started laughing more. She stopped laughing when she saw that there was a few more mugs left of the Dragon Ale and grabbed two of the mugs. She immediately down one of them before slamming the mug down on the counter to wipe her mouth.
"Man this is shit. This isn't making drunk at all." She said before she started to drink the other drink in her other hand.
