Yoki nodded her head towards him. "I am Yoki Chepi-Isi, from the Chepi-Isi Shika Youkai clan."
She then followed them through the fog that seemed to have parted for them. She could sense that someone was doing something to alter the natural surroundings. She figured that it was him since he was a Dragon, which she was surprised about still. She had always heard stories about them and wondered what they would like. But he didn't look like the big imposing lizard looking creature, instead he appeared to be a mortal creature. She figured that it was probably because they were in the mortal realm that he would have a disguise, although she didn't think that they could change form.

"I'm terribly sorry to offend," Hatulan said, as they made their way down the hall, "but I've never heard of your clan before." He stopped before their door, turning his head to regard the deer-woman. "Would your people happen to be as... reclusive as my own?" He nodded to the door, indicating that it was their room; Rosey didn't weigh nearly as much as he thought she did (though he could've easily carried her with one arm if she weighed twice as much), and freed an arm to open the door. Everything seemed to be in order, so he gestured for her to enter, the returned his arm to supporting Rosey's negligible weight.

Rosey frowned when Hatulan had picked her up but she didn't put up a fuss, she was getting tired and didn't feel like putting up a fight. Her head started to roll around and her eyes were having a hard time staying open. When they got to the room, Rosey tried to wriggle herself free but couldn't, she was just too tired and she started to pout.

Yoki thought for a moment about her people as she walked behind Hatulan and Rosey through hallway of the building. "Well, there is the one clan in the Faerie Realm. There might be some in the Mythical Realm, though I'm not sure because I haven't been there before. There aren't that many of us in the Mortal Realm. I believe that there might be a couple of clans left. The humans make it difficult for our people to live in their realm. They seem to be focus on killing the forest and the animals just that the mortals can expand and consume."
Yoki became silent as they got to the room that they were staying at. She starting thinking of what the humans did to the clan that she was staying with in the mortal realm. "I just don't understand." Her voice had gotten weak and she quickly went inside the room so that Hatulan wouldn't see her face that started to contort as she was about to cry. She got to the center of the room and breathed to calm herself down so that he wouldn't suspect anything.

Hatulan listened patiently as Yoki related her tale. He noted that she put forth a brave face, but he could detect a trace of sorrow in her voice and posture, but decided against prying, even when she slipped past him into the room. Meanwhile, Rosey's head had begun to loll, so he shifted her weight to one arm, with her body falling against his chest, her head against his shoulder. He closed the door behind him and placed his free hand to Rosey's head, keeping her from moving around too much as he crossed the room to her bed. He drew the blankets back and carefully laid her down, tucking her in.

Yoki turned around and watched as Rosey went to sleep almost immediately when covers went over her. She smiled as she watched her sleep for a while. She loved how loud and rambunctious she can be one second and then the next sleeping like a little baby. Yoki looked around and saw that there were two more futons in the closet and grabbed one and laid down on the ground. She thought that the mortals didn't like to sleep so low to the ground if she remembered correctly, but she let the thought go and tucked herself in. She was getting sleepy, but she also wanted to know how he knew Rosey. However she figured that he was probably sleepy as well and decided to wait to ask later.

Hatulan placed his hands on his hips as Rosey's friend helped herself to a futon and went to sleep soon after. Such strange girls, he though, retrieving the last futon, and settling down himself, near the door and his gear.
