[we can close after your next reply, if you want. Just make it all final sounding...]
Kaori and Peana could both feel the self-consciousness peeling off of Isaac in waves, and Kaori decided to humor his change of subject. "Yes, I shall tell you all about it when we convene for dinner. There is not too much to tell, presently; most of my mission is shrouded in mystery and conjecture--there is little fact. To be frank, gathering information about my mission is the majority of the task itself."
Peana and Yama began walking slowly, leading the way into the monestary and up a flight of stairs to the immediate left of the entrance. The stairs led to a long hall, the walls decorated and boasted at least ten thin, wooden double door entrances to the rooms located there.
Yama bowed. "We have no visitors as of now," Yama said. "You are free to choose your own rooms. Forgive us for their modesty, but they shall serve you well."
Peana bowed as well. "I shall send for you all when dinner is prepared. We shall be merry tonight. Deep discussion of stern events will continue tomorrow. I know that you've traveled a long way..."
The couple turned and retreated. Kaori, having been born and raised in a house similar to the monestary's own structure, and she made her way to the first door on the right, closest to the stairs. "I will be staying here," she said when Yama and Peana were out of sight and earshot.
Matthew dutifully took the room across from hers, on the left from the stairs. "Isaac?" he said in questioning tones. "When you decide which room you want, we can go train. I'm sure Yama wouldn't mind helping as well, as old as that tiger is."
Kaori smiled ruefully. "Aren't you two around the same age?"
