If Only, If only this was a different time and place Hako, we could have been friends...
Sara thought sadly as she cleared her throat to question the man in front of her. Sara regreated that it had to come like this: working while trying to relax. Maybe it was the fact that she was hanging aroung her brother or to feel like she was doin something so she wouldn't have Shadow on her back but to whatever the answer was, she gave the man known as Hako a soft smile and laughed along side with him.
....If Only,if only... Sara stared at him deeply into his eyes and asked
"Do you have any special gifts?" Her smile now a hidden from the fact that she was bitting her bottom lip.

The guised Oracle knew she was going to ask a question close to that subject. It almost made him chuckle. But thanks to his will to stay in character, he was able to control himself. He looked up to the sky and placed his index finger on the tip of his mouth, illustrating himself thinking hard. "Hmm," he said out loud, slowing down his pace of walk. "My mom used to tell me that I could predict the future in my dreams when I was little. Sometimes that happens to me now." He chuckled. "As a matter of fact, I think that's how I met Dave. I had a dream that I met him while going grocery shopping. The next day, I had to get a bag of chips for a party I was hosting for a few of my friends, and there he was; straight from my dream..."

Well, Sara thought as she stopped in her tracks, isn't that the anitidote for irony...
She didn't bother to keep the smile that was forming but she did give Hako a look of doubt. Doubt because she knew that there was more to it, more to the fact that he had more powers like her own. Either way, she knew she needed to keep up with this game so she asked:
"So Dave was the one you spoke of? Man of your dreams huh?" Putting her hands into her jacket pockets, Sara gave a glance at the moon that was covered by the clouds.
That only means one thing... she thought harshly.

"Yeah," he said, also placing his hands in his pockets. "We were so great together. We didn't even have sex until a year into our relationship because of how great he made me feel without it." He then looked on the ground, seemingly looking downtrodden.
"But then I found out why he waited so long," he said, sounding depressed. "Right before the magic happened that night he told me that in his previous relationship his partner purposely gave him AIDS. And that he loved me so much that he didn't want to risk giving it to me." He smiled. "But I wanted him so badly that it didn't matter to me. I got tested the next day when he went to the clinic for a check-up. My test came back negative, but Dave..." He sniffed to avoid tears. "He was given a month left." A few tears escaped Oracle's eyes, but he wiped them off and continued his story.
"He was strong," he said. "He lasted two years, which was more than the doctors say he ever saw anyone outlive the disease. He died three years ago. His family had him cremated and trusted me with his ashes. I spread them across the Pacific Ocean when I was on a singles cruise one of my friends told me about, since Dave always wanted to sail the Pacific." He then smiled sincerely. "Now he's part of it."
He looked at Risa, still with his hands in his pockets and his smile on his face. "I'm sorry I trailed off," he said. "It just makes me feel better when I can talk about my love like that to people. You understand, right?"

You....have no idea... She thought, keeping her gaze on the moon above.
"Sorry, no clue. I guess I haven't found anyone or have anything like that happen to me." Sara lied " An I don't think I ever will...besides it won't hapen to people like me."
Sara walked over to Hako and rest her right arm on his shoalder, a smile on her face.
"I'm sure Dave doesn't mind that you still hold his memory, even till this day."

Oracle's eyes started tearing up again as he looked at Risa with a smile on his face. "Yeah," he said to her. "I like to think so too." As he wiped the tears from his eyes again, he beamed a bright smile that almost made his face ignorant to the fact that he was crying. He gestured with his left hand as he swung it back and forth rather quickly. "Who's turn was it again?"

The guised Oracle started to look like he was thinking the way Hako would usually, already knowing what to ask the girl who called herself Risa. After a few seconds of playful umm's and ahh's, Oracle showed a facial expression that only equaled the equivalent of cartoon characters getting an idea with a lit light bulb above their head. He looked at her and wiggled his fingers in front of her in a spoofy spooky manner.
"What was the scariest story you ever heard as a kid?" he asked, still keeping with the "spooky" routine.

Sara shook her head, acting as if she was school girl and a look of fake fear on her face.
"No way mister..." She said in a babyish voice, "...I won't talk about that one." Stuck out her tongue at her before giggling.
This is getting old....
She thought as she moved back, keeping her facial expression false from the one named Hako.
It's time I peer into that head of yours.
Putting little effort into it, Sara began to look inside Hako's head, going first into his consciouses part of him. The next thought of his would be the first on the list, then it would be the actual deep stuff. She just needed to becare of this and just keep hi into the game.

Little Lotty, let your mind wander... "Goddamn it, Risa!" he said, making a pouting face. He looked at her and started to smile again. He sighed, still keeping a smile on his face. "Fine," he said. He then punched the woman named Risa in the arm again, this time adding just a little bit of strength than his previous one. "Okay," he sighed as he folded his arms in playful frustration. "Let me hear your question."

let your mind wander...
Sara gave a look of deep thought by laying her hand on her chin, her fingers moving around slowly.
"What to ask you.....what to ask you?" She said out loud on purpose. She then a gave a flashing, evil smile and look at Hako devilishly.
"Something simple. What was the first thought that popped in your head when you first saw me."

Oracle was thrown off somewhat by the question. Out of all of his correct guesses on what kind of questions she asked in the past, this one he was not expecting. He had no doubt that she was curious as to find out his true identity; this much was certain when she asked the question about if he had any "special gifts". But it was almost like she was-
That was it. She was using his own strategy against hers. She started off with the questions he was expecting; the ones that questioned his identity, and hoped that by asking something innocent and simple, that when the next time she asked one pertaining to his identity, he would crack under pressure.
But he had to be careful. His theory could have been wrong and this could be exactly what she wanted, causing him to fall into some sort of trap. But Oracle already knew the gravity of the situation when he started this. He must find out the whereabouts of that flower shop. As Hako, Oracle closed his eyes and chuckled lightly, placing his hands in his pockets. Then he looked at the woman who called herself Risa, and smiled his usual giddy Hako smile.
"I'm not telling!" he said in a childish na-na na-na nana tone of voice, trying to mimic his company. He then hunched his left arm over so that she could punch it.

"Aww....no fun!" She said in a babyish tone. She made a pout and punch the man man named Hako harder than she usually did.
Damn, She thought, I was hoping that I'd get him with that one.....
"If only this was him... she said under her breath, looking down to the cobble stone walk way that was leading to the opening of a huge park. The sun was slowly rising, it's light only being blocked by the few trees that stood silent and watch the two people ply their "game".
Thats alright though, She gave the one name Hako a deep look of disgust but quickly to a more pleasant look, I have some other ones that would work...

Oracle smiled at his interrogator. On the inside, he was laughing at her failed attempt. He knew that she was trying to gather information from him the same time he was trying to get it out of her. Only he knew that she was curious about his identity. Oracle already knew who she was and who she was related to; all he wanted from her was the location of her brother. And he already retrieved one piece of the puzzle when she told him that she worked in a flower shop with her brother.
But at the same time, he had to protect himself from her interrogation as well. He knew he let his guard down when he manipulated that man's mind in the club, but in a way it worked to his advantage. If he didn't control that man's mind for that second, it wouldn't had allowed Risa to get close to him by suggesting to play this game. Oracle was in too many scenarios that were a lot harder than this to the mortals eye.
"Okay," the guised Hako started, sounding as giddy as he could be after showing vulnerability from the woman named Risa's strong punch. "My turn. If you could be any plant, any plant at all, what would it be and why?" Oracle once again rubbed the back of his head, tying his best to purposely illustrate embarrassment. And from how he did it, he was doing a pretty good job. "Sorry," he said. "The sun's rising; my brain has to adjust to the incoming daylight. So that will be the last stupid question for a while." He then gave that goofy smile he always did that he thought Risa liked as he awaited her answer.

Sara thought about it,
It sounds innocent enough. Might as well.
She gave the man named Hako a warm smile, a real one this time around, and giggled a little.
"Gosh," She said while looking around, a grin on her face, "Which flower, which flower?" she gave a Hako a gaze and simply said "A Balloon Flower. My brother's store is the only place to sell them for some reason. In fact..." She looked at Hako with a devilish grin.
"Thats all I'm saying. Now I get to ask." Now's my chance, I only get one shot at this...
"Pick a number 1 to 10." She stuck her tounge out playfully as the sun soon shined on the park and them.

Oracle figured it was time, regardless to the situation. The guised Hako rose an eyebrow and looked at Risa. "Should I keep it to myself," he started, "or should I tell you?"

"Keep it," She took off her glasses, slipped them into her pants pocket "to yourself." I will now guess your number by only touching part of your shirt!" She made her last statement nice and loud, acting as if she was a performer of magic.
I hope this works, I only have one chance for it. She thought to he self as her hand reached over to touch Hako's left sholder.
There were a only a few psychic abilites that she knew for a fact that she could do without a problem; that was a fact. There was one however that she had one problem with, one that she could only do once: Psychometry.
Also known as "object reading", psychometry enables a psychic to pick up on psychic vibrations left on an object by someone connected with it. She could only it do this "trick" once every 2 hours. That was as far as she could get with her traning.
Now it was the time to see if any of that training paid off.
"Your shirt, Kind sir." She said with her right hand out to reach it.

Oracle took the bottom of his white shirt, lifted it up and placed it into Risa's hand. He showed some confusion on his face to show that he had some kind of concern about what she was doing.

Here I go... Sara slowly took hold of the shirt and closed her eyes.
"Such a nice soft shirt, you need to tell me where you got this one after we are through." She said in a sly tone.
Now, focus.... Give me a thought Hako....

Oracle knew what would happen if he gave the woman who called herself Risa any leeway. If he picked a number, or gave off an open thought, then she would be able to trace that thought to its origin point and figure out his true identity. He could perform that same technique; that's how he knew her brother was following him that day they made their agreement. So as far as outward thinking was concerned, Oracle gave her absolutely nothing.
Still, there was the thought about how all of this would end. He didn't know the limits to her power just yet, so the possibility of a battle between them would be a little less expected. Then there's the idea of staying undercover longer than expected until he received what he needed to know and left unsuspiciously. But that itself could take forever. Oracle was caught up in the middle of two decisions; give her a thought and blow his cover, or give her nothing and remain Hako until the job was done?
Oracle decided instantly with an idea. He hadn't tried it in a while, but it was crazy enough to throw Risa off a little and to be able to gather the location of the flower shop from her. As Hako, Oracle chuckled at Risa's compliment on his shirt and once again scratched the back of his head playfully. "Thanks," he said. After a few more seconds, he went on and gave her exactly what she wanted. Staples...
