After sometime Ilreg had finally arrived in Guardrael, the capital city of the sixth Layer of Hell. Perturbed by the warmth of the extravagantly lit city and fun atmosphere, Ilreg took solace under a tree in a secluded park. Alone, Ilreg gnawed on what was left of the thigh of the young archangel, a prize he claimed from his travels in the fifth layer, the consumption of the Celestial helping to restore the power he used in his travels to the foreign realm of Makai.
Having had his fill, Ilreg place the remaining carcass on the ground near himself, and placed his back against the tree while sitting down, folding his arms against on top of his stomach, and fell into slumber, resting after his meal before he continued on his journey.

Yomi couldn't believe that she was actually out and about; but personally, she wanted to get away from the creepy new resident that had fallen ill in the middle of the streets or her city. She didn't want to have to worry about him, but his aura was unmistakably one of her own, and she wasn't about to give up on him--it was something that she knew that the Yami-ou would not hearing about at all. And at the moment, since she needed to get her clout back in Hell, she wasn't going to summon up the courage (ha!) to break Tomoyo's rules that she used to in her past lifetime.
Of course, she had to pass the sparse plant growth by her mansion. She usually disregarded it all--the animals of the layer no longer migrated to that area, as she used to typically capture them to experiment upon her poison's effects in her home--but today, something there was different.
There was a being with white hair sitting under the only tree in the distance, a piece of meat with blood pouring from it next to him on the ground--well, there wasn't much meat left, but...
She supposed that he had just decided to go somewhere secluded to dine, which Djinn typically did with the souls that they harvested. However this wasn't the case with this one, Yomi could tell, and she chose to just ignore the remnants of the Demiangel whose limb now lay on the ground. Good riddance. Yomi probably wouldn't even tell Rei that she had lost a citizen. It no longer mattered. There was no gain for her if she told the Rai-ou. Hopefully, she could discreetly bring it to Tomo's attention so that she would be scolded.
Yomi, however, decided that she would hang out in this area at least. If he could take down an archangel--depending on whether or not the cur had actually had any power--this guy could be a danger to her people as well.

While he sleep, Ilreg's mind was flooded with images of the past. Frequently the face of a women, an Angel with white wings and hair, with horns would enter his mind. On her face was a look of pain, accompanied by a a sense of happiness as she lie in a field of flowers, deeply wounded, reaching out her hand. Images of a man would frequent his mind as well, his leathery black wings spread completly as he sored high in the light of a pale moon. The man's face was much like Ilreg's, his long raven hair masking his regal countanence.
The most frequent and recuring image was one of horror. A large monster, shrouded in darkness, surrounded by corpses, its many heads bobbing back and forth in the ebon background. Shrieks and cries of anguish seemingly acted as the monsters voice, a voice that sounded all to familiar to Ilreg, his eyes moving rapidly as the terrible dream permated his subconcious. Seeing someone in the dream, he stood in a place void of all light, Ilreg watching as a small child wandered aimlessly through the barren wastelands. The child's white hair caked with dirt, his small horns protruding atop his head. Soon the child was approched by a figure, who the child followed until everything went white in the dream. Ilreg continued his slumber, unaware of the other person close in the vicinaty.

Yomi was becoming irritated now. Tired of looping in circles around the area, she settled for the option of seating herself little more than two yards away from the sleeping being and crossing her legs. She took a deep breath. If Seki were here, he would have simply meditated until the guy woke up. And that was precisely what Yomi was going to do. Taking a deep breath, she tried to calm herself down. She didn't like sitting still in one place unless she was doing something important or worthwhile, but she had to deal with this in the only way that she could see as logical--taking another loop around the area would do nothing for her, and it was also possible that he would wake from his slumber and leave by the time that she came back. Closing her eyes, she continued to take deep breaths, trying to clear her mind of all the thoughts that she had plagued herself with over the past few hours--that boy and his wounds and his strange blood, Rei's incompetence, and trying to figure out why it was that Tomo had allowed her back with a clean slate instead of killing her...

Awaking from his slumber, Ilreg arose to find the small area on which slept had been frozen by his presence, his disturbing dreams causing his aura to spill out into air and effect the environment, leaving the grass icy and a thin covering of frost on the tree on which he leaned. Seeing the rest of his meal frozen to the ground, Ilreg caused the frozen leg bone to levitate, snatching the near clean leg from the air. Satisfied with the remaining pieces of celestial flesh he voraciously consumed, Ilreg tossed the bone on the ground, stretching his now resting legs and arms before continuing his walk.
As Ilreg began to leave the near frozen grounds of the park he noticed as tan skinned women with long raven hair. She seemed to have a furrowed look upon her face as Ilreg watched her pace around the area. "I was not aware these peons were capable of thoughts deep enough to cause their faces to contort so." Ilreg mused to himself, noticing the slight look of contemplation on her face as he continued his journey, closing in on her location as he continued to walk in the same direction, soon to pass her. Ilreg face grew stern, as he soon found himself uncomfortable with the warm and bright atmosphere of Guardrael, pleased to soon be away from this place.

Yomi's face contorted further in contempt as she heard the guy rustling in his place, rising from the ground and making his way towards her.
"I also didn't know that an moron existed who would fall asleep on the property of the King of this Layer," Yomi said, her eyes snapping open with a blank expression in her eyes. She stood quickly, now in his path. "Exactly what are you doing in my Layer? You weren't here to party, I can tell. You're not here for drinks--and that piece of meat gives off the scent of an Archangel. Not that I care, because Rei can kiss my ass--but I can assure you that if you attempt to harm any of my citizens I'm going to kick yours. Where are you headed? Because I don't think that I'll be allowing you to go anywhere but back up to the Fifth."
A breeze filtered by, ruffling her dark raven hair and her expression remained unfathomable.

"Your attempt at humoring me with the idea of you besting me in any manner of combat have failed." Ilreg said coldly as he continued his pace, walking toward Yomi not caring to do so much as glance at her. "Besides, you reek of the vile odors of various toxins, and your smell is only matched by your horrid appearance, remove yourself from my optical faculties before I erase you whore.
"It matters not to me that you will not allow anything, I travel as I please, and your reference to yourself as a king means nothing to one such as I who recognizes no such sovereignty." Ilreg continued to speak, remembering his past run in with a supposed Hellion king, and the little expectations he had matched with insolence and stupidity.

"I wished you were worthy enough of being humored by me, you piece of garbage," Yomi said, not pleased at all about how she was being addressed. "And despite the fact that you don't like my title or authority, it is those things that give me the right to refuse your demands of me getting away from you. Sorry." Reaching with a coil of wind, she lashed out at the area in front of Ilreg, to prevent him from moving further. Nectar, Yomi's sprite, also appeared in a whispy form to block the figure's way.
"I don't really care if you don't recognize authority--I usually don't, either. But I for someone with a small brain like you, perhaps a lot of force would be what it takes to help you get the general idea. I don't know what you want with Tomoyo, but you'll have to deal with me first." The wind around the area began to pick up, the sparse plant life waving strongly in the wind.

Ilreg stood there, the coil of when wind supposedly impairing his movement. As his hair blew behind his vermilion horns Ilreg raised his hand, summoning a shield Ice several meters high and wide, to circumvent the direction of the zephyr, "I gave you a chance to escape with your miserable life unscathed, but I can see that you Hellion ignoramuses do not understand anything but pain, allow me to oblige that." Ilreg said as his white tresses fell to his shoulders, the wall of Ice protecting him from the wind as he conjured a rapier of Ice into his hand, gripping it tightly to reinforce its integrity.
Ilreg leap to stand a the top of the wall, landing on his toes as he glared down to Yomi, spit on the ground in front her. "Make your next actions count, they'll be your last. Hopefully you fare a better distraction than the other winged cretins I've bested." Ilreg said a malicious smile spread upon his face. Leaping to the ground, away from the wind cast by the Hellion King. Right after landing Ilreg immediately speed in the direction of Yomi, sword clenched his fist, preparing to engage her.

Without a word, Nectar flew to her Master, forming into Yomi's preferred Kama. Two sickle blades with handles attacks for wielding, Yomi was excellent at using them and prepared herself accordingly. Using her thick wings to push her and thus gather speed, she lunged towards him as well, waiting patiently for the first flash of his weapon so that she could catch the rapier in between her own blades.
His words did not matter. They had entered a battle, and that was all that Yomi needed to hear. She felt him spit upon the ground earlier but didn't bother to look. Never take your eyes off of your opponent. She was not going to make that mistake. She had given him the chance to turn around and go to wherever place it was that he called home, but hadn't been listening, and Yomi did not give out multiple warnings.
The sun was setting, and the town and all of its inhabitants were now bathed in the red light of a setting sun that made all things in its wake look as though it were covered in blood. A fitting scene, she supposed, but paid it no matter. Fighting in the dark would not hinder her, and she had the feeling that her opponent wouldn' be weakened either. She smiled as she rushed towards her enemy. It had been a while since she had actually needed to fight.

Turning his so its tip was pointing toward the ground, Ilreg met Yomi with a firece one handed upwards strike, crashing his blade against her weapons, feeling the forcefulness of her wings in her defensive stance. Ilreg's frigid blade collided with the curved edges of Yomi's kama, and as he met her he glared into her eyes, his face growing ever so close to her own, his stare unwavering as he began to blow an arctic breeze onto the blades of her weapon.
Small crystals of ice began to form from his breath onto the sickle portions of the two kama, and Ilreg began to focus he energy on making the weapons as cold to the touch as possible. Immediately after, he wrenched the handle of his rapier with a quick flick of the wrist to attempt to loosen Yomi's grip on her weapon, the torque of his own motion was compounded by the friction of the weapons of both combatants, grinding against one another in the still on going collision.
"I will feast upon your wings at the conclusion of the short lived battle whore." Ilreg goaded, placing his free hand behind his back in an almost obvious feat of arrogance, summoning very powerful, and cold energies as his now closed fist was hidden from his opponents view.

The guy she was fighting flicked his wrist, and Yomi let go of her weapons, using her wings again to push herself back a few yards from her enemy. He began to taunt. Yomi didn't like taunting opponents. They were usually trying to keep you distracted from something they were going to do later--that was a hard lesson that Yomi had learned from both Tomo and Tsubasa, a lesson that she was not going to forget easily after losing her life once already.
Her kama clattered to the floor, the force of her pushing herself back and dropping her weapons simultaneously causing the frozen blades to break upon contact with the ground. At which point the weapons disappeared, replaced by the presence of Nectar in her wispy, natural form once again.
The wispy form rose from the ground, stretching its arms and legs until it gained a humanoid form, just as tall as Ilreg. Where her arms extended they tapered off to a fine point in a semi-solid form.

"I will break you body as I have your feeble weapons." Ilreg said walking toward Yomi. "Tell me, do all you winged imbeciles retreat in combat, have you no spine to accompany those wings of yours." Ilreg said stopping in front of the wispy figure. "Wraiths do not impress me whore, fight your own battles." Ilreg mouthed as wide wry grin spread across his face, circling Yomi and the sprite she summoned.
Soon, several fallen had clamored to the streets to view the disturbance ensuing between the layers ruler, and the unruly dragon intruder. Ilreg noticed that several of the fallen had come to see the skirmish, and a cruel smile appeared on his face to accompany the sick thoughts that permeated his head as he brought his pacing to a stop. "So, a king you say, tell me your majesty, how much are the lives of pawns worth in this game of chess." Ilreg said holding his now glowing free hand in the direction of the crowd, the visible air freezing and condensing around his glowing hand as he smiled at Yomi, holding onto his rapier tightly .

"To bad that I don't care about impressing you," Yomi countered finally to his words. To his other comment, she said nothing; it was as though she had never heard it. A useless opinion if she had every heard one. He could talk about Nectar as much as he wanted, but she could probably give him a good fight for his life. But if he wanted to talk, she would talk. She could spout as much useless distraction as he could. It was obvious that they were trying in vain to distract each other; although she didn't want to admit it, her opponent was just as experienced in battle as she...
"So," Yomi said, "do you often use your girlish looks to attract crowds? I'm sure it works until they get a look at your face, huh? As far as this crowd is concerned, they shouldn't have allowed themselves to be drawn to the location of a cross dresser. Honestly, you're worse than Tomo. At the very least, she'll change her form completely to accomodate a certain gender. I mean, jeez..."
Honestly, that's how Yomi felt. "There are two rules in this city, intruder," the Kaze-ou said. "One: Don't disobey the King unless you want to be killed, and Two: don't get caught up in other people's bullshit, because I'm not saving the ass of a stupid person. These people know this."
The gathering populus, hearing Yomi's words and realizing their own foolishness, began to back away, a few people frozen in their spots because of their own stupidity. However, Yomi kept her eyes on the guy in front of her, circling her and Nectar.

"I can you assure this, the elegance of my visage is only matched in volume the the sheer envy that you posses of it. Your malformed face, gangly features, and offensive stench only bequeth your jealousy ugly winged women, as well as that of your wretched familiar." Ilreg said looking into Yomi eyes.
"Of all your blathering today, you have spouted one thing to peak my interest, the name of Tomo. Hearing that name from you, I know I draw closer to her location, and I will be sure to inform her of of lapdogs true feelings." Ilreg said, his glowing hand aimed at the remaining straglers who came to view the fight. "She is shape changer as well you say... important information. I wonder, if he, she, or what ever 'it' may be, knew of 'it's' mongrels divulging secrets would it be as lenient as I." Ilreg said, lowering his glowing hand.
At the moment, Ilreg turned away from Yomi and continued his walk, "I have nothing to gain from destroying you here today ugly woman, and as a reward for information I shall spare your life. Attack me again and my offer is forfeit." Ilreg said walking away from the altercation, the crowd moving away from him as he walked through where they were standing, a satisfied grin on his face.
"Interesting my pet. Sanada changes her apperance, she might be harder to pinpoint." Taimat cooed in Ilreg's mind.
"Well then, I shall have to draw her out." Ilreg said as he continued his walk away from Yomi, his one hand still glowing, while the other held his sword of ice.

Yomi didn't even reply. Those citizens that had gathered around her before were no longer worried for their lives, and neither was Yomi herself. At the very moment that he turned to leave, everyone began to laugh, and Yomi allowed herself a chuckle as well. What idiot didn't know about Tomo? Even in the Mortal Realm everyone connected to the ethereal world knew what and who and where Tomoyo was.
Not to mention that the moron thought that he had something on her; that Tomoyo would care about the opinion of her that Yomi had voice several times over the past millennia, and that her being a shapeshifter was a secret! Yomi almost doubled over laughing, but kept herself upright because she didn't trust him.
However, he began to walk after turning, the laughs of the people and Yomi's chuckle echoing after him. Yomi was sure that Tomoyo would take care of this creep herself, but the fact that he assumed that he could easily defeat Yomi irked her, and she didn't really think that such an assumption should be allowed unchecked.
"I don't think I need your reward. Your own ignorance is enough of a prize for me. I think I'll take the fight, if you don't mind," she said, waving a hand. Nectar appeared in front of him suddenly, swinging her arms for a blow to his chest. Her arms were still sharpened to a tapering point, as dangerous as a sword.`

Ilreg stopped as the sprite appeared in front of him, drawing his frozen blood from a wound it made on his chest. Standing there amist the jeers of the fallen and their king Ilreg's face became as hard as stone and cold as a glacier, "I said I'll let you live, and instead you choose to attack me, so be it. Your citizens have made the same mistake as you, thinking that they were safe whilst I still had breath in my lungs. Your have drawn blood, and I shall repay you with a portrait of bodies strewn about this place." Ilreg said as he opened his glowing hand releasing a blast of frigid energy at the sprite in front of him.
Turning to face the crowd Ilreg ran at blinding speed to find the epicenter of the area, seeking out the place that would make for the greatest kill zone. Ilreg stood in place, concentraing his energy, as the air began to freeze around him. The skies began to darken as the sheer cold emanting from Ilreg began to cause the clouds to condense, snow began to fall, with a thin veil of frost covering the ground. Ilreg then clenched his fists, still holding his sword, drawing in as much air as he could for several seconds, turning his attention toward Yomi and the laughing citizens, as he was several hundreds meters away.
Ilreg began to glow a faint, cold blue, his chest injury now completly healed, his hair blowing wildly from the energy he amassed. The vegatation and large building in the area around him began to freeze crack from the sheer cold, as Ilreg's very presense began to chill the enviroment. His eyes now first dialated, now cataract and white, were focused on the citizens, who now shivered in the arctic air, many of them now running into the the shelter of various buildings. Veins now became visible on Ilreg's face, as he began to amass a copious amount of energy.
Standing in a fierce stance, Ilreg head was raised toward the darkening skies, his chest full and stout, his aura frigid and glowing, his intent to kill paramount. Ilreg then commenced to hunch his back, as he lowered his head, and slowly open his mouth. Then everything went silent.
The silence was cut excrutiatingly short as a loud shriek rang out from Ilreg's location, as the wind was cut from the immense burst of enegy that originated from Ilregs lungs and exited out his mouth. The light from the beem was blinding, as the torrent of icy energy ripped through the trees around the king's estate, destroying scores of the them as it burst straight through, headed for Yomi. The landscape the beam had missed were frozen by the residual energy into a frigid, brittle mass of of land, and the fallen in the vacinty of the beam were either disentagrated, or frozen instantly.
As the wave of energy continued to tear in the air, headed straight for Yomi, Ilreg stood in the wake of its destruction smiling at the carnage he wrought, a wide chasam of upturned earth present where the beam of energy tore the land. The wind blew wildly from the massive explosin of energy as the debris mixed with the falling snow, an awful scene indeed as Ilreg stood their holding his rapier, with an evil grin on his face, his breath weapon having wrecked much destruction. "Funny, no one seems to be laughing now." Ilreg said, planting his sword in the ground, crossing his arms.

The wave of energy came at Yomi faster than she had thought it would. This guy knew his magic. It hurtled toward her, freezing civilians and ripping through trees and destroying everything in its path. All in a matter of seconds.
"Nectar!" Yomi sputtered, hoping that the sprite would make it in time.
The wispy shape of a young girl appeared in front of her for the briefest of seconds before a flash of light blinded Yomi's vision, holding her hands up before her in a feeble attempt to generate a self-powered shield.
It failed.
The next moment, she blinked, her body shivering. The world around her was fragmented, broken into pieces; had she died? She had been hit, she was sure of it. She knew it. She hadn't been strong enough...
She held her hands up--
and jumped back as they reached out in front of her hitting a barrier cold to the touch. That was when she looked around. Everything was in pieces, shrouded in a white mist that covered anything of importance. She was sure that everyone else had died, or was...
...she was frozen. Nectar hadn't blocked the beam. What of Nectar? Where was she? Had the beam destroyed her?
"N-n-nectar..." she hadn't realized that her teeth were chattering from the cold until she had spoken. "F-f-f-f-fuck..."

Ilreg's thin lips rose to the sides of his face as he began to smile. Plucking his sword from the frozen ground, Ilreg walked past the Fallen who remained frozen, not destroyed by his beam and mercilessly butchered them with several slashes and volley, growing closer to Yomi's location. Laughing loudly as he ended the lives of her citizens in front of her, Ilreg made sure that every casualty was within Yomi's eyesight. "You don't laugh now, do you ugly woman?" Ilreg said, crushing the frozen face of a young fallen woman with is hand, her blood covering his palm.
Walking toward the frozen block that encased Yomi, Ilreg stopped infront of it and smashed the hilt of his sword against the middle of the block. After the impact, a long crack began to show in the face of the structure, proceeded by Ilreg willing the rest of the ice to crumble, leaving Yomi's face exposed to the harsh arctic air, while the rest of her body remained encassed in a thin sheet of ice. Reinforcing the ice around her, Ilreg now stood infront of his quarry, smiling in delight.
Standing infront of Yomi now, Ilreg wiped the fresh, frigid blood all over Yomi's face. "Much better, but your face still disgusts me." Ilreg said, spitting a razor sharp spike of frozen spittle past her face to brush against her cheek. "The last winged bitch I battled had a man to save her, where is yours? Oh my, what manner of creature would consider bedding with you, ugly woman. If he were here, I would rend him into paste, but your horrid face would have killed him before I ever got the chance." Ilreg laughed loudly in the air, his voice cutting through the cold air as he had just done to several fallen. Snowflakes continued to fall from the sky as Ilreg held his blade to Yomi's throat, moving its razor sharp down her back, cutting through the ice into the seems of her clothing, spliting the fibers in an attempt to disrobe her in the frigid cold, while causing the ice to melt into super cooled water.
"I thought your face was horrid, but we shall if if your body is even more displeasing to the eyes." Ilreg said placing his blade into the ground, leaning forward to enjoy his torment of the frozen, Fallen King.

While her vision was contorted and broken, she could still see as Ilreg took the lives of the innocent but stupid villagers who had come to watch their fight. She felt nothing for them. They had decided to walk their dumb asses here on their own, and she didn't really care about what happened to them. She would just have to announce to her villagers again that they shouldn't be walking into stupid situations that they can't handle.
He approached the ice that she was frozen in, breaking a hole in the middle of it and exposing Yomi's head to the outside air, which was only a little warmer than the inside of her arctic prison. However, it was enough space for her to conjure her wind magic, willing the breeze to neutralize the cold air pressed to her face. Where in the my bloody piece of Hell is Nectar?! She asked mentally, calling out to her spirit. She had been taken off guard by the power of the blast, and she needed a little help from the sprite in order to get herself free. Just a little.
He wiped blood all over her face and began to speak more, but she ignored him, his words becoming nothing more than a blur in her mind. The blood on her face was warm, surprisingly, and it gave her a little of the confidence that she needed to begain summoning more magic. In less than a few moments, she could feel her wind becoming razor sharp as she willed the wind speed to increase tenfold. The guy in front of her was still talking, his voice not a dull fingernail scratching a blackboard in the background of her mind. Funny, normally she liked that sound.
He began to cut the ice for her, ripping her clothes as she did so. It didn't bother her as much as he thought, being exposed to the elements, and while she wasn't used to fighting naked, she really couldn't care less.
Stop. The voice that sounded was an ethereal echo, and at the same time that it wafted through the air, it activated a magical blast whose epicenter was Yomi, the magical ripple harsh and strong enough to push almost even Yomi back. Yomi closed her eyes briefly, as the wind from the outbrust of energy softly fell over even her. However, she stood her ground, her shirt's seems beginning to peel apart on her abdomen and shoulders. She was a little cold, but Nectar's shield managed to put a barrier between her and the cold that this jerkoff was generating. She would have to brace herself for later, in case she had to sacrifice the shield.
"I'm not quite done yet, you asshole."
