"Damn it to hell..." Shadow said when he saw a man come towards him with a sword that made him look like shit. He was going to dodge and move out the way but he heard something. He didn't know what but as he moved back an inch, that noise turned into the one person that he should have known to come save is ass.
Abbadon.
"Miss me?" Shadow heard him say. Still an ass hole.... Shadow thought as he walked over to the man on the ground. He looked at him, his armor, his blade. Then the youth sae the symbol on the armor. Shadow had this feeling that this person was not bad, just doing a job. He didn't know why
"Who are the hell are you!?" Shadow asked

The room was now filled with familiar and angry faces from Taiyou's past, faces he had not seen since his served in Sanada Tomo's army. He was now being attacked by the Upright Midoriiro, someone who Taiyou had nearly killed in battle had it not been for her lovers intervention. He paid in blood for her arrogance, and Taiyou assumed her and the rest of her unit for dead after the last battle, but apparently he had been mistaken. "Go help your master mutt, I'll take care of this..." Taiyou said, pushing Roiyaru aside with his free hand, and shielding the two of them from the barrage of flying projectiles with his sword.
Pressing forward Taiyou began to form a fireball in his freehand, slowly creeping forward as he placed his hand on the metal of his sword heating it, "You should've stayed dead Kogane, I don't like to kill people twice, but I'll make an exception in the case of you assholes." Taiyou said in an arrogant voice loud enough to be heard by everyone in the room that would recognize his voice. Taiyou was going to try to unnerve his opponents, having them focus all the attention on himself and away from Shadow, Abbadon and canine companion.

Roiyaru nodded at Taiyou's suggestion. Whereas the sprite was worried that trying to leave without helping his master's ally in the heat of battle would be unfavorable, the fact that he received his pardon from Taiyou himself made his conscious a little less heavy.
With the quickness of an eagle, Roiyaru sprinted past the heavenly General and jumped through an opening to the inside of the Devil Saint Headquarters, only to realize that the secret entrance had been broken into.
Growling and frowning at the sight, the beastly sprite rushed in. And upon the things he saw was Akuma Shadow, his master and one of the celestials he assumed that accommodated the general out side. His master had his blade drawn, placing it near the warriors throat, no doubt seeking answers to the reason for their presence.
Roiyaru had no time to loose. He had to alert his master on the impending doom the city was about to become drenched in. So he quickly ran toward the three. By the time he was within reach, Roiyaru bit on the blade that imprisoned him for countless years and stared at his master with a serious gaze with his good eye. After he recieved his attention, Roiyaru released the blade and stood between him and the blond warrior.
"I apologize for my intervention master," he told him. "But it is necessary. We are all in grave danger..."

Abbadon had to admit; he wasn't expecting Roiyaru to instantly appear in front of him like that. He could have sworn he was outside helping Taiyou out. But with the random appearance of the gladiator bitches around them, he could only guess that he needed all the help he could get.
"We are all in grave danger..."
Abbadon blinked rapidly. Hearing Roiyaru say that made him feel like he was in the middle of a fucking Star Wars plot twist. But knowing Roiyaru, whenever he said something to this degree and had a serious look in his face shit was going down. He lightly tugged on the sword, telling Roiyaru to let go. Once he did, he placed the sword back in his sheath and looked at his sprite.
"Whats wrong, boy?"

Roiyaru sighed as he looked at his master, preparing to give him the grim and terrible news.
"Before your opponent Arashi retreated," Roiyaru started, "he sent a spear of his chaotic magic on the top of Tokyo Tower, set to explode and destroy the entire city with his exit of the Ningenkai. Taking necessary precautions, I was able to stall the detonation of the bomb upon his leaving. However, I an not at my magical ability yet to stop it alone."
Roiyaru intensified his stare upon his master, hoping he saw the gravity of the current situation.
"You must use your own abilities over chaos to finish the procedure, master," Roiyaru said. I can only keep the barrier I have over the bomb for so long until I can no longer keep it fortified. You must go, master. Now!"

Abbadon couldn't believe what he was hearing. The suicide bleeder left a bomb that could blow this entire city to smithereens? What kind of a fucking cop-out is that?!
He finished listening to what Roiyaru had to say about him temporarily stalling the bomb's detonation and how it was up to Abbadon to save all of Tokyo like the plot line of a very bad Bruce Willis movie.
And no, not Sin City...
Abbadon nodded as Roiyaru insisted to head out now. But before he could, he got one glance at Shadow first. Now that he knew the events that lead up to him being trapped in this realm in the first place, there was one thing he had to make sure of.
"Shadow," Abbadon called to him seriously, which was not expected of him at all, just to let you know. "Go tell Taiyou what's going on and make sure these armored bastards don't get in my way. I'm going to go stop this thing."

Shadow heard everything that Roiyaru had to say about Arashi and his plan to destroy all of Tokyo with a spear of chaos that was set on Tokyo Tower. Honestly, it seem like every evil son of a bitch that goes to Tokyo goes to that tower just to blow things up. What happen to the good ol days of going there to see Tokyo?!
Shaking his head a bit, Shadow got ready to head to the Tower with Abbadon but stop at his tracks when he heard Abbadon order him to tell Taiyou of what was going on and that he was going to handle it himself.
The Knight's back was turn, he couldn't bare to look at Abbadon.
"Are you fucking nuts!" Shadow shouted, "You can't go off alone. We don't know if Arashi left something to protect the bomb. You are going to need back-up, I'm going with you."
Shadow turn around to face Abbadon in the face.
"You are not alone, you have people that can help."

Abbadon could only frown. No inside jokes, no random-ass rants about nothing, and no random references to shit. He could only frown. And the reason why all he could do was frown was because for the first time in a long time, Abbadon's emotions started to overwhelm him at that moment.
He couldn't help but remembering the last time he saw Seijin Shadow alive all those years ago in Heaven. And now, it seems like history wants to be a bitch on her period and torture him by repeating itself. So he could say only one word to try and combat this situation going on in his head.
"No," he said with authority.
Abbadon approached him with a pointed finger.
"This is not up for discussion, bro," he continued in his weird authoritative tone. "I'm not going to let you or Taiyou get hurt over something that started all because of me in the first place. Even if you came, you would only get in my way. And I can't have you as a distraction!"
Abbadon swallowed. He knew what he was saying wasn't helping the situation. Knowing Shadow, he would end up bringing up that what he just said was around what he said the last time he saw his past self alive. But what else would you say if you were trying to avoid saying what you truly felt about the situation in the first place?

Feeling the presence of the Chaos in the area dissipate from the general vicinity as Arashi made his sudden departure, Muraskai, dropped her hands and ceased their motion in relief, her vortex absorbing most of the violent magic. Despite the area being free from Arashi's Chaos magic, their was a strong surge of magic pooled from his exploits gathering in the center of the city's landscape, Murasaki's affinity to the same element calling out to her as a beacon. As the situation grew more dire, Murasaki overhead the conversation of the assailants he and he cadre of Uprights had come to apprehend. "Sir, the effects of the magic are no longer present, but a strong reservoir of it still persists sir." Murasaki said to Kogane, taking a breath from the excertion.
"Dammit, rest up and be ready to strike, we may have lost Arashi but the rest of these bastards are coming with us. Followed the idiots and the mongrel to the tower and aid them if you can, but make sure they do not leave!" Kogane said in an annoyed manner, releasing his hold on the vortex, his dexterity returning to his hands as he grabbed his sword and made for the direction of both Midoriiro and Taiyou. Kogane ignored Taiyou's jest, choosing to forgo a battle of wits for one steel and blood. "Akai, bind left flank and evasive maneuvers now!" Kogane roared as he shot a wall of force at Taiyou's back with one hand extended arm, rushing toward Taiyou's side with a quick dash, swinging his sword in a manner that would seemingly tear the powerful Demi-Angel in two pieces.
Hearing the order, Akai, twirled his sword into a neutral position to allow for the purple haired man he fought the room to escape, taking visual cues from his commanding officer and rushing to Taiyou's left, opposite of Kogane's position to the right. Readjusting his sword, Akai gripped the weapon by its handle with one hand in front of his midsection, swinging the weapon below his other hand that crossed over it, bellowing away the heat of Taiyou from his teammates. Advancing forward, Akai moved his hand's position, and swung downward from his side. Akai was more familiar with Taiyou from stories and talk form his teammates, but this was the first encounter he'd had with the man, and despite his being attuned to the same element, controlling Taiyou's fire was proving to be rather difficult, something akin to a master artisan and sculpture working with granite, without the aid of a chisel.
In front of Taiyou, Midoriiro allowed her magic to flow through the weapon, making it more pliable and elastic, she swung her staff high, rolling the weapon around her neck and turning along with the weapons momentum, grasping the edge of the spear and unleashing a devastating blow to the side of Taiyou's weapon, the tip swinging around to slash at his face, the smaller broken pieces of earth at flying into Taiyou's legs at Midoriiro's command, her rage not dulling her ability to fight effectively.

Shadow couldn't believed what Abbadon was saying. Was he really that fucking stupid or did he like being a macho Van Damn wanna-be in the daytime? These were questions that the Knight wanted answer and just saying "No" with a finger pointed at him didn't help things.
"Are you fucking slow!?" Shadow question, "How was you born: deaf, stupid or slow because the last time I check YOU said that to the past Shadow and YOUR ASS WAS HANDED TO YOU SIX WAYS BY THAT WHITE HAIR PRICK OF A BITCH!"
Shadow began to walk forward toward Abbadon, his eyes showing rage and his hands in a fist.
"You need to realize that there are risk out there and you can not, I repeat, CAN NOT do by yourself."
Shadow stopped about a inch away from Abbadon and took a deep breath.
"As First seat of The Devil Saints, I'm telling you to follow orders and TAKE ME WITH YOU!"

He knew it. He knew he was going to bring up the scenario he relived in Heaven. He was stupid to believe that he wasn't. He could only close his eyes and try to calm himself down so that he wouldn't make a fool of himself.
But he couldn't help but think about Shadow's words and not relive his last memories of Seijin, and how he was responsible for his demise. It ate at him with every word he heard coming from Shadow's mouth.
By the time he opened his eyes, Shadow's eyes started to turn red; apparently what they do whenever his rage decided to take over. Hearing him yell that he had to accept the fact that he needed help only made his breathing and his heart rate pick up faster. Everything was happening too quickly for the archangel, and at this rate there was no way for him to calm down without exploding into the ball of emotion that was forming.
Especially since he stopped an inch away from Abbadon's face.
"As First Seat of the Devil Saints," he heard him yell to his face, "I'm telling you to follow orders and TAKE ME WITH YOU!"
Abbadon couldn't help it anymore. There was no way of fighting it any longer. With the angriest frown he could put on his face, Abbadon grabbed Shadow's shoulders and shook him violently, giving him the courage to say the five words he fought so hard to say.
"I CAN'T LOSE YOU AGAIN!!!"
There; he said it. Everything should be fine, right? No. No, there was more. There was more that he had to say. But now that he had his own rage situated, he lowered his head in embarrassment, his body starting to shudder.
"Everything that I came across; everything that has mattered to me," Abbadon said. "It was all destroyed. My father. Yuki. My own memory. You. And now your back; back in my life again after I finally claimed it as my own. And if I lost you again, I... I wouldn't know what to do."
Abbadon rose his head up to stare at Shadow as a tear rolled down his cheek. But even though a tear was present, his same serious frown was too.
"I need you," he said to him. "I need you... to live."
He sighed and let go of his shoulders. Realizing that he was crying, Abbadon quickly wiped away the tear as he looked down at Roiyaru.
"Come on, Roi," he said as he drew his Sword of Darkness. "Lets end this once and for all."
Abbadon quickly left the Devil Saint headquarters and started to fly to Tokyo Tower to stop this thing for good.

As Roiyaru impatiently watched his master and Shadow bicker back and forth about each others company, he started to snarl. There was no time for this at all! All of Tokyo was at stake and the only person he knew could stop it was in the middle of a meaningless argument.
That is, until he finally saw his master break down.
Roiyaru watched as his master confessed his feelings for the reincarnated Seijin Shadow. He didn't need to read his mind to know that he meant every word. Seeing that his master had grown so much since his course here in the Ningenkai would have been understanding if they weren't so pressed for time. He could only keep the barrier over the bomb up for so long until he was unable to keep it active. But it was while he was about to alert Shadow and his master, he saw that he was aware that this was indeed the main priority.
"Come on, Roi," he told him. He watched as he drew his father's blade. "Lets end this once and for all."
Roiyaru nodded. "Yes, master."
As he watched his master run out of the building, he stared at Shadow. Knowing that his master would pick up his mental waves, he only nodded at the Knight instead; silently telling him to secretly pursue him.
Then he ran out as well, catching up with his master as he ran as fast as he flew toward Tokyo Tower.

Shadow took every word that Abbadon said to heart and the violent shaking didn't help much. As he saw Abbadon running toward Tokyo Tower, Shadow only made a smirk that rivaled Spike's smirk on the last episode from Shadow's favorite anime, Cowboy Bebop.
"Dumb ass," he said softly, "I need you to live too." Looking up, he saw Roiyaru give him a nod that only told him to follow. Shadow gave him a nod and ran toward the ally way that led to Tokyo Tower as well. Pulling out his key, he started to speak into it.
"Any available Devil Saint," Shadow spoke, "This is First Seat Akuma Shadow requesting any remaining power reverted for the portals for one trip back to HQ, I need it to be ready by Tokyo Tower and on my signal open it."

[takes place right after the events of "You'll go far, kid!"]
As the portal closed behind Maggie and she dropped her bags on her floor in her room, the young woman knew something was a miss. Maybe it was because of the fact that the alarm was going off like crazy, the fact that the door to her room was wide open, or the fact that no one was here with in mile that she knew something had went down when she was away.
And she hated when she was the last to know.
Just before she was going to size up the damage in her room, her computer, which was in still in one piece, clicked on and a familiar voice was heard.
"Any available Devil Saint," she heard as she got closer.
Mr. Akuma? she thought.
"This is First Seat Akuma Shadow requesting any remaining power reverted for the portals for one trip back to HQ, I need it to be ready by Tokyo Tower and on my signal open it."
"Hello!?" Maggie shouted out. No reply.
"I guess I'm on my own....fuck...."
Rushing down the hall and taking right and left turns, she was able to make it to the Devil Saint's portal room, to which no one was there. The lights flicker on and off and the sound of sparks from the other lights accompanied Margret's footsteps.
She searched the room for the main PC, the one that controlled all the portals power. Finding it, she rushed over to the spot and just as quickly turned everything on. Taking a deep breath and crossing her fingers, Maggie stared at the screen.
"Computer," Maggie spoke, "Start Program Alpha Omega Sigma."
ALPHA OMEGA SIGMA ON LINE the computer spoke, Please choose portal to place all remaining power to.
"Revert all power to the Tokyo Tower portal, open on Akuma Shadow's mark."

Abbadon landed on the ground of the base of the Tokyo Tower. He could see a sphere of black fiery chaos magic underneath the tower and immediately assumed that it was Roiyaru's magic concealing the bomb.
Smirking, he pulled out his Sword of Darkness and started to walk toward the fiery sphere. When he reached the black flaming ball of chaos, he stopped. Sighing, he closed his eyes.
<Roiyaru,> he said to his sprite, <I need you to continue your concentration on this barrier. If you let up even an inch before I destroying this thing, we're all as good as dead. You can do it, boy; I have faith in you...>
With that, Abbadon opened his eyes and continued to walk toward Roiyaru's sphere-shaped barrier. And with a raise of his sword, the chaos magic around it made an opening big enough for Abbadon to step through. Immediately after he did, the barrier closed up again, trapping Abbadon with the spear of Arashi's chaos magic, pulsing for freedom but too busy being contained by Roiyaru's chaotic flames.
Abbadon frowned at the bulking spear, putting on a serious face at the task he had to accomplish. But as that serious face happened, it quickly disappeared as he twirled his sword and held it with both hands. He smirked, knowing that there was a possibility that he would not survive this.
Thank you for helping me remember, Roi, he thought to himself. I never would have gotten out of this heart of darkness I've been in for so long if you haven't guided me in the light.
Abbadon swallowed, knowing that his sprite could hear everything he was thinking.
<If I don't get out of this alive boy,> he said, deciding to make his thoughts official dialogue for Roiyaru's mind, <you already know I love you. Just... just make sure Shadow knows too...>
Another sigh left Abbadon's mouth. Still holding the sword with both hands, his smirk reassured himself.
"Well," he said to himself, "here goes nothing..."
And just as quickly, Abbadon stabbed the blade with his Sword of Darkness. He could see the blade start to glow gray like it always did. Only this time, it started to glow a bit more ferociously. He didn't know what was going to happen. Hopefully the swords ability of suppressing magic was enough to stop the bomb, but Abbadon didn't know what to expect from the sword.
He could have just as easily let go of the sword and got the hell out of there; that sword had caused him nothing but trouble ever since he received it from his father. But after all the shit he went through today just to keep someone who threatened the lives of the beings he walked amongst the past few years kept his hands from letting go. And if he was going to die tonight, then he was going to go knowing that he did his absolute best to protect the people he cared for.
And boom goes the fucking dynamite.

By the time Roiyaru arrived at the base of the Tokyo Tower, his master had already arrived. He walked toward the sphere of chaos magic the sprite encased over the bomb without even acknowledging Roiyaru's presence. It wasn't until he watched his master head further toward Roiyaru's concentrated magic until he heard his voice in his head.
<Roiyaru,> his master spoke, <I need you to continue your concentration on this barrier. If you let up even an inch before I destroying this thing, we're all as good as dead. You can do it, boy; I have faith in you...>
The sprite smiled warmly before nodding in response to his master's order. With that, he closed his eyes and continued to fortify his concentration on the barrier he placed before him. Then, he started to hear his master think things that he never wanted him to think.
Thank you for helping me remember, Roi, his master aimlessly thought. I never would have gotten out of this heart of darkness I've been in for so long if you haven't guided me in the light.
Roiyaru drastically opened his eyes, afraid of what this loose thought would spawn. Ideas and scenarios played through the sprites mind as to what his master would say next.
That's when his biggest fear came true.
<If I don't get out of this alive boy,> the archangel said inside the hurting sprite's mind, <you already know I love you. Just... just make sure Shadow knows too...>
Tears began to swell in his eyes listening to his master's ultimatum. It was only by some miracle that he was able to continue to concentrate on barricading the bombs power from erupting on all of Tokyo. But as he continued to keep the barricade from collapsing, Roiyaru started to see a gray glow expel countless beams of light from the crevices of the black flames surrounding both the bomb and his master. And soon the entire glow engulfed the sprite's barricade, telling Roiyaru that the need for his concentration was no longer necessary.
It was evident for Roiyaru that the glow came from the Sword of Darkness; he resided in it long enough to know when the sword's power was being activated. He saw the gray glow send a beam of red energy through the middle of the tower, traveling up the shaft of the red structure and dissolving into the skies above. Roiyaru could sense that the red beam was the remains of the fallen's bomb that the sword did not intake.
Arashi's final threat to the Ningenkai was over; Tokyo was once again safe.
But the gray glowing ball of energy was still present, and Roiyaru's master was still inside it. The sword was trying to compress the amount of chaotic energy it had to take in. And from what it seemed, it was having a hard time.
Roiyaru immediately ran toward his master to aid him. But before any of his paws were able to run, the gray glowing ball of energy imploded, then exploded into an aura of pure energy. The sprite's jaw dropped and his tears he held back started to freely fall. The light would have been blinding to Roiyaru if he were a mortal. But even so, his state of mind would not have been able to compute what happened to his master.
"No..." he whimpered. The bottom part of his maw started to quiver as the thought entertained the sprite's mind that his master, Abbadon Hakaisha, could possibly have perished to save all of Tokyo.
And leaving Roiyaru alone in the process.
"Master," the heartbroken sprite cried. He closed his eyes, finally affected by the blinding light before him. His emotions started to overwhelm him instantly; he didn't know any other way other than how he could comprehend currently.
In the form of a mighty roar for all present in Tokyo, Japan to hear.
"MASTER!!!!!!!!"

As Shadow rushed over to Tokyo Tower, his key started to glow. That only mean that someone at HQ got the message and place the power needed for what he was about to do. Because of the way he got to the location via the allyways, Shadow could see in the distance Abbadon in a sphere-shaped barrier, more than likely Roiyaru's doing. The Knight saw Roiyaru standing and waiting for his master's return.
Maybe,Shadow thought as he stood out of sight, he can do it...
Then Shadow's sights went back to his best friend and saw that he wasn't moving away and that the Sword of Darkness was glowing gray.
Or maybe he just fucked up and I need to save him...yeah, I'm going to assume that one...
Rushing with with all of his might, Shadow ran towards Abbadon with only one thought running through his mind: Save Abbadon. Everything seemed to slow down and the only sounds thta the Knight could hear was his heartbeat and his footsteps growing louder and louder.
"ON MY MARK!" Shadow shouted as at a split second he grabbed Abbadon's arm with a tight grip, "COMPUTER OPEN THE PORTAL!" Shadow felt a tug towards the bright light of the Devil Saints Portal and was soon with in it's light.
Portal Power shut down, all remaing power shuting down, landing in next exit
"SON OF BITCH! AHHH!" Shadow shouted as he landed on the ground, hard.
Next to Roiyaru.

The glow became too bright for him. It seemed that the sword was starting to reach it's limit as far as what it could take. The last thing he could see was a red beam shot from the top of the spear the Sword of Darkness penetrated. He watched as the remaining magic shot up the shaft of the tower and into space. Abbadon could only smile, knowing that the threat was finally over.
His own safety however, was a different question. The glow from the sword grew brighter. Too bright to the point where he could see anything; he had no choice but to close his eyes and expect the worse. But that didn't mean that he couldn't feel anything. He felt his arm pulled away from his sword. The pull was strong enough to remove both his hands from it and make him open his eyes to see it start to glow completely; handle and everything.
Abbadon couldn't hear anything either. The sword's ability made it hum something that canceled out the Archangel's hearing. But the tug he felt continued to pull him until he was blinded by another light; a light that was actually quite familiar. As a matter of fact, it resembled the same light from when he was first pulled into the Devil Saint Headquarters when he was on top of this exact same tower.
Then he hit the ground. He felt body hit pavement; preferably his body. Then it was followed by another body, landing on top of his body. He looked up to see Shadow, trying apparently reacting to the fall they took. It took Abbadon a while to put together that it was him who pulled him out of there in the nick of time. When he did, he chuckled.
"Way to go," he said. "You little twat..."

Roiyaru retreated his tongue back inside it's maw after his heartfelt cry. His legs collapsed and he buried his face in the ground, covering his face with his front legs to sob in peace. After everything that has happened; after being released from a lifetime of imprisonment, he had to witness the death of the only being he had ever loved. There was no way he would ever love another as he did his master; no way at all. As he continued to mourn his master outside the array of light underneath Tokyo Tower, he felt the presence of yet another light. This one however, he could feel coming above him.
With a tear-filled face, Roiyaru looked above him to see a door of light. And to his amazement, saw two individuals fall from this door. Roiyaru stood up with his maw barely ajar when he realized who those two individuals were.
Akuma Shadow, the Knight incarnation of Seijin Shadow, along with the very much alive body of his master.
Roiyaru was ecstatic. His tail wagged back and forth at the revelation that his master had survived the implosive explosion. But it was who saved him that made him more aware of his happiness. Roiyaru closed his maw and smiled at Shadow as he reminisced on one of the last things he told Seijin Shadow the last time he saw him alive...
Who knows? The same love you have toward him in the present might end up saving his life in the future...
A crackle from underneath the tower diverted Roiyaru's attention it's way. Another blast of light shone underneath the tower, capturing his attention, along with his master and Shadow's as well. And once the light finally ceased to exist, he saw the Sword of Darkness twirl toward the three.
Once it reached a yard or two in front of them, it landed on the gravel and started to skid. When it finally stopped, Roiyaru could only smile as he saw the sword's handle land in the open palm of his master; knowing that even the sword itself knew who it's rightful wielder was.

Abbadon's attention was instantly taken by the little blast of light from underneath the tower. It wasn't blinding like before. Actually it was a rather pretty sight, if you were into that sort of thing. But what happened after the light decided to finally die off was even more random than the pretty lights after the near-death experience.
His sword came spiraling their way.
It's not like he wasn't used to having weapons thrown at him or anything. But once he saw his sword land on the ground, and skid into his hand like Heaven was metaphorically telling him that this sword was supposed to belong to him, he had to chuckle to himself. But once his little epic moment ended in his mind, a serious moment replaced it.
With this weapon, he thought to himself. With this weapon, I'll make everything right...
He grabbed his swords handle and stabbed it in the earth as leverage to pick himself up. He grabbed Shadow by his waist, helping him up too once he got on his feet.
"Come on, bro," he said. "On your feet..."
