Setsuna, having been given a divine opportunity to host the Spirit of Time, thought it fitting to finally come into full sync with the spirit.
Up to this point she had never made strong attempt to ingrane the spirit within her being. Yes, from time to time, she would call upon Time to aide her through trials, but she had never made proper accquaintance with Time, and though it was past due for such an introduction.
She left her home on the Fourth Layer of Heaven, and journeyed to the Realm of the Humans, leaving the appropriate people in charge back home. She hoped at worst, the fusion would take no more than a few days, but somehow that did not seem likely.
Setsuna entered the arch way door to the Humans Realm, and marvaled at the sight. She knew the humans had divine inspiration in constructing the wonders, but still there action of building was somewhat astonshing, especially since they are lesser creatures.
Setsuna found out through private researchers, that the Spirit of Time, when not invoked by her, spent its' time near a hidden forest lake in the back country of Bordeaux, France near the Garonne River.
She steped out of an old Cathedrale in Bordeaux and out onto the pavement. 'Ah, the portal opened very close, this is good enough.' she though as the spotted the awating black car.

Setsuna slipped into the back seat of the car, telling the driver where to go courtly in French.
He drove away from the city, pass the buliding--new and old, pass the traveling people trying to reach pressing destinations, pass all of the living quarters, parks, and structures of note. He drove into the country side, down a road looking onto the Garronne River.
Setsuna stared at the river thinking of the upcoming meeting with Time. How would it go? Would Time, once finding out more about Setsuna, want to fuse with her? These questions plagued Setsuna's mind.
"Combien des temps plus?....How much longer?" she asked.
"Madame, nous conduirions vers un herure." the driver said, "We will be driving about an hour."
"Merci." Setsuna whispered, watching the waves reach for the sky only to fall back towards the earth in futile pursuit.

After more than an hour of driving, the car, it came to a screeching halt, outside of an old-style victorian structure, hidden by overgrown grass, hanging shrubs, and binding vines.
"Madame!" the driver said, holding open the door.
"Merci." she said again. She was wearing simple robes, in normal deep-green hue, with gold details in symbols and words. "You don't have to wait for me. Thank you for you services."
The driver nodded, put the key in the ignition, turned on the car, took one last look at the strange "french" women, who seemed unusually young and wise, then pulled away from the undergrowth and stone structure.
Setsuna push the creaky door to the building. Inside things were decayed, rotten, and neat. The door slammed shut behind her entrance.
Setsuna walked slowly around the first floor, taking in the dead house. It was impossible to think that the Spirit of Time lived in such...such a place.
"Hello." she called out into the dark atmosphere. "Hello...Spirit of Time...I am at your service..."
As Setsuna's speech faltered, the walls begun to shake. Wind broke through the windows and bowed the doors to its' will.
Setsuna spun around quickly.
"So, the Setsuna Shirogane has finally come."

There, in a milky silhouette, wavered the Spirit of Time in all it's blinking glory. It was clothed in a long black robe, face partly obscured.
Setsuna fell to her knees, unsure if this course of action would be accepted.
"Rise, child." it said in an adrodynous tone. A smirk presented itself among it's face.
Setsuna stood facing Time.
"Why have you come?"
"I have come, Spirit of Time, to finally fuse our beings together, or rather to invite you into my body as a host."
The spirit moved about the room arranging a table and chairs. "Tea?"
Setsuna shook her head and continued, "I have invoked Time and your aide but I have not truly fused myself with you. Therefore I do not know you, which is why I am here."
The Spirit removed it's outer robe.
Setsuna nearly gasped with surprised, as she stared into the young face of masculine features, with spikey red hair, and electric green eyes.
"Do not let my apparence bother you...as for this fusion of sorts. I have to make sure you're the right one to yield my power." he said.

Setsuna was taken back, but said nothing. To see if I'm the right one, she thought, the hell... Her face betrayed nothing.
Time eyed her closely, "What are you thinking Shirogane?"
"Nothing...why do you not think I am the right one?" Despite her better judgement, she asked anyway.
"Because, Setsuna, every Spirit must know, without a sustantial doubt, that his or her charge is right. It makes for better harmony. Don't you think?"
Setsuna agreed with the simple reasonsoning, almost glad to hear her pervious discretions was not preventing a bond. She finally sat down before the Spirit.
"Why, do you think something is wrong with you?" the spirit asked.
"No." she said.
"Good...now that we have that out of the way. Let's begin."
