Cielle wasn't sure what to think as she stepped through the door into her first classroom ever. She wasn't entirely sure how she actually fibbed her way into a Human school without any previous experience, but despite the unlikelihood of it all happening she was there. She peeked around the classroom door, glasses balanced neatly on her face. She had never had to wear any uniform before, having been raised in the wild, and then by a king of hell, but after her ordeal with Tai, her mother had offered her an out, and she was going to take it for now. Tai had scared her in a way she had never thought possible, and she didn't know what to do other than try to kep her mind away from it... She stepped in quietly, looking at the teacher, who seemed to be preparing for class. "Excuse me," she said timidly.

Mizuho looked above her glasses at the young lady standing before her. It had been a while since she had a new student in class, and right before Spring Break. It was an interesting time to appear. She wasn’t the type to read too much into things, but it did seem strange that this girl showed up the last day before break. She looked into the girl’s eyes and felt an unfamiliar feeling spread throughout her body. It seemed like they were the only two in the classroom; the students hadn’t noticed that the new student entered the room. Mizuho looked away before the staring crossed over to being creepy. She straightened her notes, adjusted her glasses on her face, looked over at the girl and smiled. “Just a moment please while I get everyone’s attention” Mizuho said pleasantly. Mizuho turned to the class and clapped her hands, trying to get their attention. Sadly, that didn’t work. “Excuse me class, quiet down please” she said loudly. A few of her male students looked up and began to get the rest of the class’s attention. “Hey! Kazami-sensei is trying to tell us something, quiet down.” One of the boys said. Mizuho gave a small chuckle and pushed some of her hair behind her ear. “Thanks you. We have a new student in class. Please listen to her as she introduces herself and accept her kindly” Mizuho said as she motioned for the girl to step forward. Mizuho watched as the new student walked forward to speak. Cheers echoed throughout the class yet again because the boys were excited to have a new student. Normally Mizuho would laugh at this, but she couldn’t shake the feeling that the girl gave her.

Cielle was trying to be as inconspicuous as she could. Knowing that she didn't have that much magic to contain definitely helped. However, it was also a problem that she felt like an outsider. She was lying to these people; she was, in a sense, doing the exact same thing that Arashi had done to her.
Rationalizing it in any way wouldn't change the fact that a lie was a lie. Heaving a sigh and trying to make it look like nervousness for introducing herself to a new room of people, she inched further inside the room.
The professor got everyone's attention. Cielle wasn't sure what to do; she was spazzing out--she didn't even know her new teacher's name!
As if to help remedy her, she heard a male student shout "Kazami-sensei, and she assumed that was the name that all of her students called her at the very least. They passed the word around the class and eventually things quieted down. Cielle frowned. Would the class always be this loud? How would anyone get any work done if things were always this loud?
Cielle had no choice to admit here that she wasn't a Human; she was a youkai. One that she had existed in for a long time as the Alpha female, no matter how strange that may have been to other societies of wolves and youkai. There was a person for every job, and a job for every person. She was used to things being organized that way. If someone who was an expert in a field that you weren't was briefing you on how to do a job, you wouldn't dare interrupt them or anything of the sort. She couldn't believe that it functioned any other way.
As she approached the front of Kazami-sensei's desk to speak, she felt a lump in her throat. She told herself that she needed this; she had no other choice. She wasn't going back to hell to stay there permanently, and she wasn't read to return to her pack yet; so she was going to let things unfold here the way that fate would have it.
She would send a note to her mother to tell her about all of her planning to live as a Human for a while, and ask her mother if she would kindly play the role of the Human mother for the duration of her break period. She was sure that Maman wouldn't mind--staying in the Mortal Realm was something that she suggested, even if it wasn't to this degree.
Working all of her future plans out in her head made her feel better, and with her reassured confidence, she smiled at the class, opened her mouth, and said, "Hello. My name is Cielle Blanche."
She knew that it would be an unorthodox name for a class that was comprised of Japanese citizens, but it was the school that she had chosen, knowing that there was another, different group of youkai nearby.

"Cielle Blanche?" Mizuho thought to herself. She never had a French student in her class, it would be an interesting change of pace.
"Class, make room for Ms. Blanche, and let's get started with today's lesson" Mizuho said as she motioned for Cielle to have a seat in the front row.
Mizuho turned to the board to start writing the pages in Homer's "The Odyssey" that she wanted the students to start reading over the break. She decided not to have a long lesson because it was the last day. For some reason she kept getting weird vibes from Cielle: she felt some type of "something" there. It almost felt like the vibes she got the last spring break she spent with her family, she wondered if there was any connection.
Returning to her lesson plan, she finished teaching and assigned only the first twenty pages of "The Odyssey" because she wanted her students to enjoy their break. Once all the students left the classroom, she packed her things to go to her office and grade a few midterms before she went home. She stopped to take a breathe because she felt overwhelmed all of a sudden; she wondered what kind of break it was going to be. As she walked towards the door, she noticed that Cielle was still sitting in the desk.
"Is there something wrong?" Mizuho asked slowly.

Cielle looked up, lost in her own world. She couldn't believe that everyone had left. The class was over already?
"My apoligies," she said, her French accent cutting in through her words. Looking down at her desk, to the book sitting atop it, she added, "I was almost done with the twenty pages you assigned. I wanted to finish it as quickly as possible.
When she looked up at her teacher, their eyes locked, and a fuzzy feeling made its way down her spine. Cielle squinted her eyes at the older woman; but she shook her head, clearing it of any thoughts that were formulating there. The feeling of familiarity was there, but Cielle refused to believe what it was telling her. There was no way...she was sure that her Sensei, as they were referred to here, would have signaled to her or something.
So, Cielle strengthened up her smile again, and said, "I'll read the rest of it at home, thank you. I just wanted to get a head start."
That much was actually true. This was literally only the second day that she had been in Japan and she needed to find a place to stay. Like most non-Human creatures, money was not an option for, and considering who her mother was it should not have been surprising to anyone. However, her Maman had indeed limited her spending: she was only to use her money on paying for an actual home. Living expenses, such as food and extra cirricular things, she would have to get a job for, her mother had said.
"Most creatures have worked at least one job in the Mortal Realm," her mother had said. "Now it's your turn. You might learn that some of your conclusions about Humans have been wrong the whole time. I certainly did, when I was younger."
Cielle had made a joke about how old her mother actually was, but thinking about things now it was all for the best.
