"No need to hide that pretty face of yours love, tell me, what's your name, I'm Tony by the way." Migoto said confidently as he took a bite of his canoli. "You know, I think the only thing sweeter than this canoli is you bashful." Migoto said lifting his glasses to his forehead smiling, looking deep into the eyes of the shy girl at the bar.

"I'm Chrysanthemum," the girl said, not bothering to take off of her hood or to take a bite of canoli. She grabbed the cup of coffee as it was laid in front of her, and she drank from it slowly.
The blush on her cheeks grew deeper; she really had never been paid this much attention before in her life, and she wasn't quite sure what to do.
"Thank you...but I'm not really that sweet. I'm a rather sour person, I think," she said, taking another swig of coffee.
She supposed that some of the powerful beings who had come into this place weren't do bad. She decided to take her time enjoying the company. She would call her father later and procure some way home...

"Don't say that hun, otherwise your gonna make me think all 'lemons' are as sweet as honey." Migoto said, smiling cool as a breeze, finishing off his canoli, taking another sip of his wine. "Say love, you doing anything or going anywhere, I'd love to escort you tonight. The night's young and where in Rome, let's go dancing or something." Migoto said, smiling at the young women, hoping his words wouldn't be misunderstood as some cheap turn on.

Chrysanthemum felt her cheeks blush red as the compliments washed over her. She had never been commented on in that way before, and she couldn't believe that anyone would be interested in her.
"I...my father needs me home. I..." she stopped. Would it be wrong to enjoy the scenery while it was here? She couldn't tell what was right in this situation. She had made more visits to the Dream Realm for nourishment in the past two weeks as usual, and her mother's waning powers had sent her to Rome instead of Arizona...
She sighed, knowing she was making the wrong decision even as she said it. "Please, I would like to give you a few conditions: I only have two hours. And I don't like doing anything that involves large crowds of people."

"Only two hours? Well then, I guess I'll have to make them the best you've had doll." Migoto said, placing a fifty dollar Euro on the counter as he sipped the last of his coffee. Popping a peppermint in his mouth, Migoto stood to his feet, and placed his guitar back on his shoulders, its leather strap over his chest. Extending his hand to his new found friend, Migoto flashed a charming smile, and his Sound affinity to make his words softly reverb throughout the young woman's entire body, "Ok Chrysanthemum, lets go paint the town."

He accepted her offer, finishing up his coffee and placing enough money on the counter for the both of them before standing and reaching out for her with his hand. Since he had accepted her terms, she took it, standing herself. He said that he would have to make it the best two hours, but Chrysanthemum had absolutely no idea what there was to do in Rome. Even as he spoke she felt a tingle down her spine, and she forced herself to give him a brighter smirk than she usually did in response to his smile.
"Paint the town?" She asked. she had never heard a phrase like that before. "...but it'll take more than two hours to do that, wouldn't it? Painting isn't fun when you have to paint a building..." she was puzzled by his words, but she went along anyway.

"Hmm... what's a good way to show you the city in 2 hours, admire the beauty of the sky, and look at your pretty face at the same time." Migoto said, smiling as he trotted down the pretine streets of downtown Rome on the warm summer's eve. "I got it, come with me doll." Migoto said, hurrying down the street to flag down a cab. As the driver ignored him, Migoto turned toward Chrysanthemum and smiled. "Cover your ears for me sweetheart." Migoto said as he pinched his index and thumb inside his mouth, whispering a sonic cry that stopped the taxi it's tracks. "Now, back up..." Migoto said, and his words seemed to travel in the warm air. "I'm gonna take you on a boat ride through the cannals, you'll love it." Migoto said, full of confidence.

"Hmm... what's a good way to show you the city in 2 hours, admire the beauty of the sky, and look at your pretty face at the same time?"
Chrysanthemum wasn't sure what to make of anything at this point. Tony, as he had introduced himself, was prattling on about the different things that there were to do, and his compliments flattered her. However, she was still suspicious of stranger, and though it may put her in pain later she was prepared to use her magic at any moment.
He suddenly had an idea, and told her to go with him, which Chrysanthemum though she was already doing, but she ran behind him as he tried to flag down a car--a cab, she presumed. She had never been in a cab before; she was sure that it would be an interesting experience.
"Cover your ears for me sweetheart."
The request was soft, gentle--something that for some reason she hadn't been expecting from his loud personality.
He put two fingers in his mouth in the same fashion that his father did for a loud whistle; if he hadn't asked her to, she wouldn't have covered her ears. She had heard people whistle like that before--
The sound that came from Tony's puckered lips, however, so was loud that she could hear it through her fingers, something that she had never heard any 'normal' person sound like when whistling.
Tony managed to coerce the cab to stop and back up, and then he turned and said something to her. But Chrysanthemum didn't hear it. Unplugging her ears, she said, "What?"

"I said were gonna ride a gondola, you know see the city on the water." Migoto said as he open the door to the cab for Chrysanthemum. "sorry if that was loud, but these guys never seem to want to stop." Migoto said with a smile on his face. Migoto wondered if this was the girl's first time out on a date, due to her timid nature and mannerisms. he chalked them both up to nervousness and his own appeal, smiling blankly as he held the door for Chrysanthemum.
"Hey cabbie, where's the nearest Gondola ride." Migoto said in velvety smooth Italian.
"You have the wrong city, this is Rome, not Venice." The cab driver said in an annoyed tone, his Italian speech not attempting to mask the contempt he felt for the unexplained manner in which he procured his two newest patrons.
"Damn, umm... Could you swing us to the Coliseum then." Migoto said as he revealed 50 dollar Euro from his pocket.
Suddenly the drivers disposition changed, and in what seemed to be his most sincere voice, he invited Migoto and his female companion into his cab. "Whew. Hey sweetness change of plans, we're going to the Coliseum, it has a better view of the sky, and it's in this city." Migoto said, laughing nervously at his lack of knowledge in Italian landmarks and cities.

[50 dollar Euro?! XD]
Chrysanthemum hadn't gotten out much, but she studied the places that were in the Mortal Realm with books--and she knew for a fact that Rome was not the city on the water, as Tony so confidently told her. The echoing ring of the whistle still raided her ears, and she did try to tell him...
"Wait, Tony," she said. "Rome--"
"Sorry if that was loud, but these guys never seem to want to stop," he said. He must have missed her voice in the aftermath of his whistle. Opening the door of the cab and kindly ushering her in, he spoke to the cab driver in fluent italian, which was still impressive to her. The cab driver seemed annoyed, but eventually opened up to their patronage.
Tony told her that they were going to go to the Coliseum instead, and Chrysanthemum replied, "realized that Rome isn't Venice yet?" holding in a small giggle as she did so.

"I... um... yeah. I suck at directions. Sorry doll." Migoto said, blushing slightly in embarrassment at his own foolishness. As the cab driver drove at a steady pace, Migoto turned to look at his date, happy to hear the girl giggle, regardless of the origin of the laughter, it seemed she was having something that resembled a good time. After a few moments, the car stopped in front of the visitors gate of the Coliseum,
"Here we are, Coliseum." the cab driver said, waiting for his patrons response.
"Thanks my good man. Chao." Migoto said stepping out of the cab, extending a hand to aid Chrysanthemum in stepping out of the vehicle. As the pair stood in front of the ancient massive structure, Migoto began waling toward one of the gates the was closed. As he tried to open the gate he found it was locked, and scrunched his face slightly. "Give me one second doll okay?" Migoto said, as he placed his hand firmly on the lock and tumbler portion of the gate. Humming to himself, Migoto create subtle vibrations the began to interfere with the locks inner mechanisms, causing the lock to open, and allow the pair access into the seemingly empty structure. "After you my lady." Migoto said, smiling at Chrysanthemum.

Now, Chrysanthemum wasn't an expert on tourism but she was pretty sure that when a famous site was empty, it was usually closed to the public. However, despite the place being void of any other signs of life beside Tony and herself, the gate was apparently open, because her traveling partner ushered her in politely.
"Ah...this place looks like we're not supposed to be here..." she said nervously. She didn't want to get into a situation where she would have to use her magic--it would make her unstable, and her hunger pains would begin again. She didn't want that. "I...don't think we're supposed to be here..." she said, clutching herself.

"Ahh don't worry about that. The sign only applies to people that aren't us, and since were the only ones here I guess it's doing its job." Migoto sad with a smile, gently cluching Chrysanthemum's hand as he led her into the empties coliseum. It was pitch black inside the long hallways of th coliseum, and Migoto began to whistles, using magic that was similar to echolocation to navagate thtought the dark corridors.
Reaching the dimly moonlit exit to the seats, Migoto stopped to ensure Chrysanthemum was okay. "Were here babe, now let's hope we don't have any trouble finding seats." Migoto said, pointing behind himself to the empty coliseum, underneath a Moon filled sky, filled with stars that resembled crushed glass on black velvet. Looking at the sky, Migoto smiled and turned to Chrysanthemum, "Looks like the sky has some competition huh babe." Migoto said in a a charming manner.

Chrysanthemum knew that there was something not quite right, about his answer, but thinking about this situation more made her realize that if Tony had put her in a harmful environment, she could easily escape using her own magic. She had never thought about using her magic so frivolously before, because of the horrible pangs of hunger that normally hit her after making such rash decisions concerning magic.
The corridors were dark, and Chrysanthemum was uncomfortable being there. It seemed however, that even without light Tony knew his way. When they emerged in the Coliseum seats, Chrysanthemum was stricken about the beauty that the place possessed. It was old...and it held a majesty that she had seen in the Mortal world only a few times during her existence.
Tony settled down near her and actually compared her to the sky. It was like some sort of wooing scene from a Shakespearean play, and she wasn't sure how to react to it at all. She was sure that her strong blush--standing out against her pale skin, she knew--would be obvious, but how did a person react to kindness like this from a stranger, someone that you met in a coffee shop?
"You're much nicer than what I'm used to," she said, and looked down.

Migoto could see her milky white skin growing flush under the pale moon light and twinkling stars. As she spoke, Migoto could hear her heart flutter, as the blood coursed through her veins. Her breath was hot and Migoto smiled as his hands found their way to her back, pulling her close. "I could grow used to something as nice as you..." Migoto said, kissing Chrysanthemum, his hair slowing changing blond and his skin returning to its natural blue color. In the embrace, Migoto used his magic to help Chrysanthemum hear everything he could in the still night air, both of their heartbeats together, rhythmically coinciding like two instruments. The scraping of the clouds, and the gentle breeze thought the barren corridors of the empty monument.

Chrysanthemum was shocked. Honestly shocked. Her body froze up of it's own volition, and even if she had wanted to, she knew that she wouldn't have been able to move. No one had ever kissed her before, and she didn't know how to react.
In the Human world, people were friendly to her, but not like Tony had been. In her portion of the Fae Realm kissing was a greeting, though only her family granted her that courtesy. Despite all of that, Chrysanthemum felt herself being impressed by the charity that Mortals possessed, especially this one. It took someone with a lot of heart, she thought, to give attention to someone who was not themselves. And even though they had only met perhaps an hour ago or so, in a coffee shop in Rome, she still felt some sort of connection with Tony--like there was something that they had in common, but she still couldn't quite put her finger on it yet--he had taken time out of whatever it was that he had been in the process of doing to take her to this wonderful place.
There were many, many other thoughts roaming through her head, but in the split second after he kissed her, they all came and went as the moment that Migoto's lips made contact with hers seemed to stretch on forever and ever. There was still the issue of not knowing what to do at hand; having never kissed someone, all she knew was appropriate was to pucker her lips--just a little.
Other than that, she decided it would be best to do nothing. She didn't want to ruin this moment, or make it any worse than she already had with her decision.

When Migoto's lips pressed against the shy Chrysanthemum's, moving his lips against her soft plump pink ones, he began to seemingly enter another world. Migoto soon found his senses were flooded with so many signals. Migoto had swoon his fair share of women, and had the pleasure of the intimate embrace of the kiss many times before, form both mortal and Celestial females, but she was nothing like the rest of them. When his lips touched hers, she seemed almost unreal to the touch, but he was holding her, right then and there. His head spun slightly, and he pressed closer in their embrace, he ran his blue hands down her face, onto her neck, her smooth and soft skin making his finger's feel electric. She gave of the scent of both vanilla and fresh flowers, and Migoto could not begin to describe what her magical aura felt like, although he would not care to anyway being to catch in how different yet strangely pleasurable it felt, now running his fingers gently through her hair.
Stopping for a moment, Migoto pulled back slightly to look into Chrysanthemum's eyes, his breath warm and his Djinni heart pounding inside his chest. "I... I... wha... what are you and where have you been my whole life." Migoto whispered in to Chrysanthemum's ear, his voice flustered, his blue cheeks now a twinge violet from the blushing on his blue skin. Migoto starred into the girl's eyes deeply, a gentle smile spread across his face, as he continued to stroke her hair, pulling her closer to his chest. His body was now warm in the cool air of the Coliseum floor, and he place the back of his hand against her cheek, rubbing it against her incredibly soft skin.

She could feel it as he continued to kiss her; their aura intertwining together. She had never felt her essence wrap around another beings, human or otherwise, and all that she could say about it is that it was very...different. Soothing, yet restless. Calm, yet tumultuous. It reminded her of the constant battle that was going on inside of her very soul, between her Fae blood and her Human blood, and it was this parallel insight that made her understand. Now completely comfortable with Tony, because of the deep connect that she felt between them--a connection that reflected her more accurately than anyone else ever had--she even began to feel herself slip into the kiss for just a moment before he pulled away. In just that one frame of time, she could feel her magic loosen, and before she hastily tightened her control over it again she wondered how the magic in contact with Tony had made him feel. Did he notice anything? She would hate to think that this moment would be ruined because of her lack of restraint.
Before he pulled away, his hands softly caressed her face, her neck, and made their way under her hood to her long, blue hair.
So caught up in the moment, in Migoto looking at her with his piercing eyes, she hadn't even realized that he had said anything until she noticed that he was moving his mouth. She blinked, opening her eyes. "What...?" she said slowly, feeling embarrassed that she had neglected to listen to him. Blinking a few more times, her eyes adjusting to the sunset across the horizon whose light was slowly fading. And in that glimpse, she could see the decidedly violet tinge on Migoto's cheeks.
She squinted, trying to make sure that she was seeing the right thing. But with her magically enhanced eyesight she knew that what she was seeing indeed was the truth. "You..." she said. So, he wasn't Human after all. Not the least bit Human. Then what was he?
All of the comfort that she had allowed herself to feel with him was draining. She froze now, her body becoming stiff. She hadn't encountered anything like him before, and he certainly wasn't a Faerie. She braced herself in case she would need to attack him, and she could already feel the disappointment gathering in the pit of her stomach, like a rock.

"Huh... what's wrong babe?" Migoto said, feeling Chrysanthemum's apprehension, and increased heartbeat, noticing an increase in nervousness. As he looked at her, Migoto noticed that his skin had become blue, much to his surprise. "Oh... that..." Migoto said, mildly embarrassed as he scratched his blond hair. "Man... why does this always happen to me?" Migoto said as he felt her body stiffen up. "Wait... wait a minute.... um.... I think I can explain..." Migoto continued, removing his hand to not further breach her personal space, sensing she began to grow uncomfortable with is small deception.

"You're not Human..." the words, although racist in nature, finally escaped from her mouth. She wasn't sure how to feel, after the initial disappointment of being lied to set in.
Tony seemed surprised that the skin color change had taken place; that meant that it was unintentional. He tripped over his words, telling her that he could explain this. somehow.
There were so many things going through her head at the moment. A part of her was hurt; she had been sheltered for most of her life because of what she was and the moment that she stepped into the world to finally do something spontaneous, she found out that she had been deceived.
She almost wanted to cry, but she told herself that such an emotional route wasn't the way to go. She didn't want to disrupt the balance of her magic with emotional displays.
What are you and where have you been my whole life?
His words rang in her ears, and she knew that she couldn't completely blame him. She hadn't really told him what she was, either, despite the fact that she hadn't solicited him in the first place.
"I'm a half-fae," she snapped, and despite the fact that she was trying to be fair, her voice still portrayed her hurt feelings.
