It was all well and good to stomp out of a meeting, Ren knew, but in the state of things...
...Where the hell did that leave him anyway...?
He was sure that someone in that room had sent word to Heaven already of his defection...
But...Defection what was the question...
He wasn't altother sure that he was loyal to Hell at this point or even agreed with their objectives at this point. So far as he'd been able to gleen from Tomo and Rei.
Which brought up the other half of the dilema: He knew, without a shadow of a doubt that both of them would be absolutely furious when they got out of that meeting.
He wasn't especially looking forward to it.
At a stumped standstill outside thatchurch where he could imagine that his leaving had little effect on the sensibilities of those in heaven, he willed his wings into sight. Confirming what he already knew to be true. He had felt it the moment it happened. A turning in his soul as the colors of those appendages turned as well.
Stark black.
Darker than his sister muted grey or charcoal color, he mused.
With barely an effort, he willed himself away from that place, traveling to somewhere that the hostility that he could feel creeping along his neck would sufforcate him so.
He went to one of the few mortal cities that he felt any comfort in and sat down at a table in an al fresco cafe. Mindfull to will his wings away when the waiter came around.
"Buon giorno, signore! Prego..." Scanning over the menu that was handed to him, he decided that he might as well cast his lot in fully.
"Si, eh...un gelato, un panino, una pasta e....una bistecca, per favore. Anche....un caffe." The waiter looked at askance and accepted the menu back.
"Sono cinquanta euro...va bene?" The waiter asked, checking to see whether spending fifty euro was a problem.
Considering that Ren doubted he'd be alone for long, he didn't mind.
"Sta bene."
He waited and considered his plans, one of which would likely be to settle in right here and spend the rest of his immortal life doing something mortal....Maybe he'd become a bookseller. With a portal to hell in the basement of his shop....
The idea amused him moreso than he had been in a while. Something about the idea of seeing both his sister and his wife as quint little shopkeepers in Rome had him shaking with stifled laughter quickly.

Since the last time that she visited her parents to food, she knew that her mother needed to rest. Opening and closing paths to the Fae Realm from the Mortal was taking a toll on her; dad would be worried when she wasn't at home on time.
Chrysanthemum felt the familiar churning in her stomach; it wanted essence-based food...but it wanted Mortal food as well. The churning was uncomfortable; but it would continue without ceasing like it always did. Chrysanthemum had grown up always feeling as though she was about to puke--no use in complaining about it now.
Making sure that her face was obscured in her hood--sometimes direct light was good for her, and sometimes it was not--she entered the nearest coffee shop. Noting the obvious Italian sign on the front, she knew that her mother had dropped her off WAY far from home. An entire continent away, in fact.
Chrys's long, bright blue hair caught the coffee shop keeper off guard, but he tried to serve her anyway.
However, Chrys did not know any Italian, and she simply shook her head. He took this as a sign that she wanted to be alone, and she was glad. She could conjure the money she needed at night from the dreams of a greedy Human so that she could get home--if she got lucky she would pass a greedy daydreaming Human and her father wouldn't have to be as worried.
Sitting next to her was some guy with golden eyes and hair, and it creeped her out. She supposed that was what it felt for those who had to look at her strrange features--but golden eyes was just a bit too much. Clearly, there was something going on with this guy; contacts or something...
He might be a fae... she thought, and she subconsciously pulled in the opposite direction as the stranger. She didn't want to do anything that would jeopardize his safety.

Rosey came in to the restaurant and immediately recognized the Heaven King and made a brief eye contact with him. She didn't bothered stopping to talk to him though, she continued walking to her seat that she spotted. Before she got to her seat, she also saw Chrysanthemum there who she met as she left the Fae realm to the Mortal Realm. She nodded her head to her and realized that she wanted to be alone.
She got to her seat and the waiter approached her asking her what she wanted in Italian. She simply pointed to a picture of pasta dish she didn't recognized and held up two fingers to let him know she wanted two of the dish she pointed too. He left after writing her order down and she sat there and waited for her food.

Coming from a small suburb outside of Rome, Taiyou had just completed the demolition of several large buildings by himself, only requiring a nominal fee after the workers refused to enter the supposed haunted building. Hungry from his long walk, Taiyou entered the city with a night of good food and drinking in mind. Noticing the smell of an excellent antipasto and alfredo platter Taiyou noticed a small cafe on the corner.
Taiyou walked into the establishment and took a seat by the window, carefully setting his weapon down as to not make a ruckus. Noticing the Fae from a few weeks before Taiyou walked past, giving a friendly wave of his hand as he past. He also noticed a solemn looking man with golden hair, pondering something important Taiyou thought as he waited to be served. When approached by the waiter as to what the weapon was Taiyou simply replied, "Oh that old thing... its just a sword." looking at the waiter's face.
"Sir please, their are no weapons allowed in this establisment." the waiter said in Italian, growing impatient a the crass customer who barged in with his obtuse weapon.
Not understanding any Italian Taiyou simply replied,"Yeah sure, I'll take 2 of what you just said and alot of liquor." as he set a nice pile of Italian currency on the table.

Rosey wasn't expecting to see a fellow traveler to have enter in the establishment and wondered what was his purpose for traveling the Mortal Realm as she gave him a slight nod. Rosey started to think of her reason why she was traveling. She knew why she came to this place, she wanted to be as far as possible from Mei and the others. She begin to get mad at the realization that she was kicked out of the meeting and Mei trying her best to keep her there because of her stupid morals of upsetting the meeting. She really didn't want to be there in the first place to be with the uptight bastards anyway. Talking to herself, she said under her breath, "Fae shouldn't be involved in Heaven and Hells business in the first damn place."
The waiter came by with her food finally, giving her a wary look as he placed her food on the table in front of her. She didn't expect it to be so much but really didn't care about that, she finished off the bread as she waited and was going to eat this strange dish too.

[A/N: I had no idea people posted on this until tonight! Gomen Nasai! Otherwise I would have replied sooner]
Ren nodded at meeting Rosey's eyes, glad that there was at least someone else in the world who had had there fill of celestial politics, even though they kept being sucked back into them.
Though to be fair, he'd been born into it and she hadn't but still....
He mumbled a bit of thanks to the two waiters it took to bring his order as they tried to fit it all on the small cafe table.
He reached for the stake first. Feeling the need to tear some bit of flesh apart with the elongated canines that naturally came to the fallen archangels. He wondered idylly, if there was anything else he could do to ensure that he would be seen as little more than his sister's shadow as their father had intended all along. Maybe he should dye his hair black and wear contacts....
He didn't bother to hazard a look at the fae that he felt studying him, it was a common this whenever he went to the mortal world. Usually, though, he bothered with the effort of putting some sort of glamour up to adjust his coloring to that of the norm for the country he happened to be in at the moment.
He hadn't felt the need to bother with one when he'd decided to go to Rome, humans saw what they wanted to and would dismiss his eye, the most unusual part, as contacts or a trick of the light. Anyone worth his concern would probably recognize him with or without it anyway.
He spared a chuckle at the miscommunication about weapons behind him and was tempted to interveane before the waiter walked away. It was just as well, drawing attention to himself at this point in time would be useless.

"You're an idiot and I hope Tsubasa kills you in your sleep." Was the first thing Kenai growled after locating her master in the mortal realm. Walking up the table she sat down in the chair across from him and snatching the gelato that was resting near his elbow, digging into it with the same savagery that he was into his steak. "I honestly hate you so much sometimes, I can't fathom why I've stayed with you so long. You should have just left me with that slave trader, you selfish prick!"
In truth, Kenai was simply venting her frustration out at being unceromoniously tossed out of the sixth of her ass the moment he'd abdigated the throne. She was fallen, she had been since they'd taken up residence in heaven, only allowed to stay since Ren willed it.
She'd had to leave everything else up to Shizuka who she wasn't entirely sure would follow them. She was upright and had only been a general of Ren's because she was a servant of Famiel, nothing more. She'd grown to respect Ren as leader but who knew what she would do in this situation.
"Why can't you ever consider someone elses opinion or feelings when you do something?! I know you don't do it to be mean but that doesn't mean you can do anything you want! Think about it for once!!" Satisfyed that she'd said her peice she sat back in her seat, devoring the gelato and ignoring the brainfreeze to make a point.

Rosey was halfway done wolfing down her food when she noticed that there was someone else sitting with the Heaven King yelling at him. She didn't know who she was and assumed that it was probably some lovers quarrel, something she didn't want to get involve with. She continued eating her food until she was done and chugged down the water that was at the table before wiping her mouth with the back of her arm. She realized that she got sauce all over her face and now her arm. She wiped her mouth and realized that there was someone eating something that looked like a sea shell that filled with meat. She wanted that.
She got up and grabbed one of the waiters as they were walking by her and pointed to the food that she wanted. "I want that, gimme that dammit."

Seemingly walking on air, Migoto walked into the cafe, totally pleased with the souls and money he collected this evening. Taking a seat next to a woman with long brown hair who yelling at her waiters, Migoto smiled as he took of his glasses, setting his guitar case next to himself. Speaking in fluent Italian, "Sir, could you bring me a bottle of wine and a large plate of chicken parmesian, oh and bill this lovely lady's tab to me." Migoto said smoothly, turning his sights toward the loud woman.
"Sweetheart, no need to be that loud, we haven't even gone to the room yet, don't worry about bill their sending me yours. What's you name gorgeous? Migoto said, the words flowing off his tongue like myrrh in a gentle breeze.

Rosey was caught off gaurd by the guy talking to her and was confused. "Are you talking to me? Are you trying to smooth talk me?" Rosey didn't like this situation she was in with this guy, it was unfamilar to her. Almost all her life was spent training and fighting in the army, she wasn't accustomed to this kind of social interaction with a person. She wanted to hit him so he could get out of her face so she wouldn't have to deal with this situation, it was making her tense. But he was offering to pay for her food and instead she sat down at her table with her fist balled up, to wait for her food.

"Yes I'm talking you love, and I'm not trying to sweet talk you, I am sweet talking you." Migoto said smooth as silk, "The name's Tony, I never got yours." Migoto said, lowering his glasses to look the woman in her eyes as his food was set before him. "Waiter, 2 glasses please!" Migoto said aloud in Italian, making some of the local women blush as he smiled at them across the table. Commencing to pour the velvet red wine in a glass for himself and the brown haired woman, Migoto lifted his glass, "A toast to you love, and a name perhaps..." Migoto said, looking very pleased with himself.

Chrysanthemum wasn't sure what to do or say about the crowd that had entered the small establishment. She had declined having any food because it would flare up her hunger. She would never be satisfied--simply looking at all of the food being ordered around her would be enough.
She stomach churned again, but she ignored it, as she had grown accustomed to doing. Her fellow fae beside her was busy being charmed by some other being that she couldn't identify, and the male next to her was being yelled at by someone else.
She shrank into herself, trying to make herself inconspicuous. She didn't like the auras of the people surrounding her, and she considered leaving. She didn't like having such dangerous beings around her...

Taken back by his charm, Rosey eyes widen, she didn't know what to do. She wanted to leave but something was preventing her to do so, it was like gravity had a hold of her airy self. She was lost. Not knowing what else she could do, she timidly took the glass that was offered to her and sipped at the smooth, red liquid while eying him.
What is his motive? Why is he trying to talk to me? Why does he want to know my name.
"My name...my name...is..." She wasn't sure if she should tell him her name. "My name is not important, I'm just a traveler." She drank the rest of the liquid very fast and turned to eat her food when the waiter brought her plate. She held her head down so that her long brown hair covered her face that was now red and rosy.

20 plates of food and 35 bottles of wine later, Taiyou had his fill, "Ahhh, that was good eats." Taiyou said as he stacked his plates and neatly arranged his bottles for the convienence of the waitstaff. Grabbing his sword off the ground, Taiyou waved goodbye to the blushing brown haired traveller he'd seen before, exiting the cafe after leaving enough money to adequatly pay his bill twice over, as well as tip the bussers their 20% gratuity. As he left, all of the waiters let out a sigh of relief as he left and made their way to his table to remove the mountain of rufuse Taiyou left behind.

Rosey managed to catch the traveler wave as he was leaving the restaurant. She waved back to him while trying to cover her blushing face but couldn't. She went lowered her head again to finish eating her meal and to keep her face hidden. It was rather difficult for her, her hair kept getting in the way and was getting into the food, but she managed nonetheless to completely eat her second plate of food.
When she was sure that her face was back to normal, she looked at the man that was trying to strike up a conversation with her in the eye with her fiery red eyes. "Thank you for the drink and for paying my meal, but I must go now." She got up from her table to leave and began walking out the door. She stopped near the other fae but didn't acknowledge her, she felt that she wanted no one bothering her. So, she turned her gaze to the Heaven King that was still there with his servant supposedly and glared at him.

As the woman finished her food, she looked at Migoto with her fiery red eyes, bashfully thanking him for the meal before she rose to her feet and left the table where she sat. Surprised by her shyness, Migoto sipped his glass of wine before turning toward the exit, using his Sound skill to whisper a message in the woman's ear from afar, "I still didn't get your name beautiful, all I got were you eyes and tab." Migoto said softly, knowing no matter how far she was from him in the bar, she would hear his beck and call.

Rosey was about to exit the place when she heard his voice in her ear. She turned slowly and expected him to be right there but saw him still at his table. She blinked in confusion.
What kind of trickery is this?!
She realized then that he was no normal being. She frowned at him for a second before turning back around making her brown tresses whip around and walked out the cafe.

Seeing the fae leave gave Chrysanthemum the feeling that she was alone. There was no longer a creature that she could identify with in this place, and she wondered whether or not she could leave. Reaching deep into the folds of her hooded robe she removed a cellular phone from it, the one object that she was bidden to keep--even if it required magic--at all costs. She wasn't sure whether or not she should enjoy being in this country first; it was her first time and not every girl from what was known as the Mortal Realm had gotten to see Italy, especially in the United States...
She didn't know any italian at all, but she managed to flag down a waitress politely and ask about what was on the menu. She would take a small cup of coffee, nothing more. Anything else would trigger her never ending hunger pains, and she was already missing the comfort of the food that her mother had given her during the visit she'd just had.
When the waitress took her order and held her hand out to receive payment, Chrysanthemum handed her what resembled the currency of the area--what the woman was perceiving in her mind to be the appropriate payment. However, it was not in reality, and Chrysanthemum desperately hoped that none of the more "talented" guests in the establishment wouldn't tell anyone that that she was handing out American coins. Yes, the image would dissolve later, but she was also hoping that the kindness from the gentleman who had bought drink for the Fae--since he had given them such a large sum of money--wouldn't mind.

"Waitress, charge her bill to me as well." Migoto said slowly in immaculate Italian, finishing his wine and meal. Moving closer to the young woman who's bill he graciously decided to pick up. "Hopefully your alot more nice pretty lady, you look you'll make better company, although if you order coffee you have to try canoli with it." Migoto said pulling up a seat next to the shy woman, ordering a coffee and two canoli, "I'm Tony by the way sweetheart." Migoto said smiling to warm up to the her, hopefully making her more comfortable.

If anything, his presence made her feel more nervous than she already was. She shrunk into herself, pulling back a bit from his overwhelming presence. The woman who had taken the illusion of money that she had given her passed it back, and a part of Chrysanthemum felt a little better that she wouldn't have to lie to the people at this place--all of the italians that she had seen, even on her way to this place, had seemed like such a happy sort of people.
When he called er sweetheart, she blushed, and turned her head slightly away. Her hood hid her face, but that fact was easily forgotten under the burning sensation of her cheeks.
"Thank you," she said, clearing her throat. She had never really had a reason to speak to anyone before, and she was having a small difficulty. However, he was buying her coffee, so she felt obligated to say something...
