Arashi's last escape led him into path of gates, and soon after into a new realm outside of his memory thus far. In all the memories he'd accumulated thus far had nothing about the door he entered. It was curiosity that fueled him to open the gate and enter the new realm. He had a fading memory of the realms name, but no real idea of what it was titled. In any case, it was nice to be able to truly discover something, a whole realm to search would take him quite some time. Arashi had no other place to turn, and if there were no humans or celestial here he would be very happy to spend time in this place. But what are you going to do about hell? You've fallen... and without allying with hell you'll lose those wings of yours.I think I'll keep them actually... they are a physical part of my body as well as a result of my own magical alignment. Then explain how you lived so long without them?Well I'll find out when I lose my wings whether it's literally or not.Arashi stepped out into the realm, breathing in a new atmosphere so very different then the places he'd been thus far. It was clean unlike the Ningenkai, and the magic he sensed was of a different nature then the celestial and fallen realms. It was honestly refreshing, and Arashi wanted to feel at ease. Ranmyaku felt restless, the feeling of her racing through his circulatory system was unnerving. Arashi forced the blade hidden beneath the flesh in his left arm to cut through his flesh and bled himself enough to allow the sprite her freedom. "It really is a lovely area, I could get used to this," Arashi said as he walked deeper into the foreign realm. His sprite flitting around as a wisp of thick bloody mist. Arashi chuckled seeing her excitement and turned to walk across the open greenery. The thick mist swirled in place behind Arashi, and quickly the youthful form of the chaos sprite appeared. "Looks nice, maybe we can hang here until things cool off?" Arashi almost laughed at the sad suggestion made by the sprite. Sometimes he saw the innocence her form suggested, though it was something he saw rarely. "No my dear, that simply won't be happening Ran-ran. The ones after me don't forget, and they live for thousands of years." said Arashi. The tone he used quickly sparking annoyance from his sprite. "Don't talk down to me boy!" Ranmyaku's shout sounded and he was suddenly buffeted by a malicious blast of pure chaos that sent him flying. Arashi was just barely able to block the blast with his black wings as he flew away in pain. Arashi hit the ground and rolled for a bit before flipping himself into the air and holding himself there with beats of his serrated wings. You normally resist those pal. Arashi landed smoothly and folded his wings behind him. He looked out over the landscape calmly. Ranmyaku darted toward him, closing the gap between them in a few graceful bounds. Arashi felt weak, not tired but weak, as if he'd drained himself. he usually felt a kind of fatigue after using his power, but it was accompanied with a strange weakness now. A haunting fear sank into his heart then, and he closed his eyes, shaking his head in the common attempt to clear his mind. I'm still a bit tired. Arashi turned to the worried face of his sprite and she frowned. "You sure?""Yeah.. yeah i just.." "It's starting to take effect then is it?""What are you..?" Arashi started to further deny it, but he felt her poke into his mind and knew he couldn't lie to someone so intimately connected to his psyche. "Yeah, yeah it's starting. I've been an outcast of hell for about a month now right? It'll be happening faster then I fell huh?" "Seems so."Arashi nodded and started forward again, looking for some form of life. forgetting the weakened fatigue he felt. It was likely the weakening would continue to effect him whenever he used a large amount of magic, and eventually it would be official and he would be choirless.

Bahira was out on a recon mission as instructed by their tribe leader and military leaders
Her team consisted of 5 members: three males and two females.
The team captain, Endo, instructed the group to spread themselves out throughout the surrounding countryside and land of their village.
Bahira set the standard military tent and provisions up under a grey slab or rock sticking out of the earth surrounding by a thicket of pine trees.
"All members of Team Thorn report!" sputtered the intercom on her watch, which wasn't just a watch, but one of the issued pieces of technology. It was their captain checking in.
"Member yellow, here" Alana reported.
"Member red."
"Member blue."
"Member green, all systems go!" Bahira reported.
"Good. Now everyone birds eyes. I'll check in every morning and evening at 9. Everyone has their orders. I'll let you all know when the commanders call us back to base. Over and out." The static died.
Bahira unrolled her bed mat and reinforced the rock shelter with deadwood. She checked the standard issued weapons; it was all there: three silver bladed daggers, two pineapple mini-bombs, gps, intercom, and hand-held computer, red-back revolver, and her special item. Each member of the military, when away from the village on mission, were allowed to carry one weapon of his or her own choice. Bahira carried her steel cresant-moon sword. The hilt was black encrested with ruby and emerald gems. The blade was a sleek and cool shade of silver. The ring of it's announcement echoed with a light hum. This unmistakable echo was how it got it's name: Echo-Moon. It had been her father's, before his death.
Bahira reassured herself, leaving the camp and hiding herself between pines, searching.
(Well, I hope that was a semi-alright opening)

Arashi crossed over the hills that seemed to flow on forever, one after another he climbed the mounds of earth and lush, long grasses and flowers. Each mound revealing only another and another, Arashi walked on, weary and waiting for his eyes to find a place to rest. the fatigue of his past battle had stung and the weakened feeling he had maintained a pang of agitation in his mind. Ranmyaku fell into a spell of youthful exuberance and tumbled down the wills. Arashi smiled, wistful memories of many lost childhoods flashed through his mind, and he barely felt the lack of happiness he had in his own. Ranmyaku ran up yet another hill, Arashi merely walked behind her, still at the foot of the ten foot high earthen form as she cartwheeled down the opposite side.
"Having fun?" called Arashi from the top of the hill.
"Naturally, you should loosen up sometimes too." Ranmyaku responded, her eyes washing over the flattened area before them.
"Seems we've happened upon an inhabited countryside," said Arashi through a look of pleasant realization. He saw the beaten path through the grass and noticed that much of the land further out seemed more well tamed then the meadows and hills he passed before him. Ranmyaku slowed her advance and waited for Arashi, not wanting to meet anyone before he had introduced himself.
"I may not allow you to return to my body often now.. I'm loosing my wings, so it may have and odd effect on you if you remain in my body." said Arashi, as a line of pines appeared over the horizon.
"That's fine. As long as I'm near you I'll be fine. I am still a sprite after all" Ranmyaku spoke through a light and giddy voice. Arashi simply nodded and headed in toward the trees. He caught a thicker grouping of pines in the distance and headed that way. He felt that he should rest before showing up in a foreign village in a realm he had not yet named. Arashi intended to find a clearing or a brook in the thicket and lay down for a while. Ranmyaku skipped along around Arashi as he walked through the area, his black long sleeve t-shirt slashed from the elbow down. The blue jeans he was wearing had a dark red stain along the cuff and his hair was tussled every which way. He looked on with a deep weariness in his dark eyes, which normally held the deepest of his thoughts and feelings.
"We'll rest in here first before finding the village I suspect is near here." said Arashi as they passed through into the wooded area. Arashi dodged branches and listened for running water, though it seemed none was too near. Though, he may have been too distracted by the sound of his sprite climbing and swinging through trees, as well as twigs cracking under his feet. Whatever the case was, he paid little attention to his surrounding as he was too focused on his desire to sleep off his fatigue. Then, as he walked on he spotted a thick grey mass sticking out of the ground between the trees. He walked toward the stone and smiled seeing it as shelter.
I think this place isn't so uninhabited Arashi. That tent should be proof enough.
Arashi looked up to see Ranmyaku above him, no longer hopping through trees, but focused on his target. Arashi looked again at the stone and squinted, only then did he notice the deadwood reinforcement on the rock formation. Arashi moved forward anyway however, flexing his wings a bit to see if he would be able to launch upward with the trees so near. Seeing as he could escape if need be, he continued forward to the place he sought to as shelter.
"Hello! Anyone there?"

[sorry about the tardiness]
Bahira was on her way back to her camp, with a canteen of water from the lake. She hauled it over her back and walked swiftly dogging fallen trees and whipping branches. The sun had slipped a little lower in the sky indicating around noon and a light breeze began to pick up. Bahira was happy for this breeze; it had been hot relatively all day.
Nearer to the site now, her ears perked, listening. She heard someone call out a greeting. She stopped, listened, and immediately made herself 'invisible'. She sat the canteen under a grouping of overgrowth and made a large arch path around the visitor and back towards her camp.
Once there, she climbed a tree looking down at her camp. She noticed a young man, probable human, definitely not a youkai, looking around. She put a hand on her communicator, considering if she should report.
"He does look harmless enough," she whispered to herself. "And I can't just report him, not knowing who he is." Bahira knew her orders, report suspicious looking individuals on sight, but she wasn't sure what would happen to him if she did.
"He could just be an innocent kid lost from one of the villages." She decided instead to watch a bit more before she made contact.

Arashi's call went unanswered and he shrugged, his wings now gone he felt he was drained and had no real desire to stay on his feet. He was well aware that the tent and it's contents belonged to a resident of the realm, but he wasn't in the mindset to allow time to think of the consequences of his actions. His minor worries were set into a dull whisper he didn't listen to at all. The fact that Ranmyaku was there, fully awake and searching through the area made him feel better as well.
I found a canteen Arashi, whoever is here is close. Stop being so careless boy and pay attention to your surroundings, I can't save you all the time.
You can't say that to someone you've only saved once. Besides, you are an old sprite, you can handle yourself perfectly fine.
I'm bound to you body and soul Arashi, I don't know just how much I can do if you're dead.
Okay okay, but I'm tired... I need sleep.
Ranmyaku was highly flustered with the state of things, she didn't like his state, and she'd never been in this realm either. She was sure it wads the Draconic realm, but she may have been wrong, there was no telling just how many things she didn't really know. Arashi crawled into the tent, lay himself on the prepared bed roll and fell into a peaceful sleep, and ignored the stabs of annoyance and frustration Ranmyaku sent him. The sprite swept through the trees in the parameter in search of the person whom she'd begun to track. Checking the ground for footprints, listening for steps and speech, even trying to catch a scent of flesh or a trace of magic. The female sprite had become accustomed to Arashi coming under attack for standing still, and as such she wasn't relaxing until the area was cleared.
Arashi on the other hand was well on his way to dreamland and had no care of any possible attackers. Arashi had come under a sense of peace, why should he worry? Ranmyaku on the other hand had ceased to trust anyone, or anyplace. Then, she sensed the person she was tracking, hiding nearby with her eyes set on Arashi as he slept. It seemed she was content to simply watch him, though Ranmyaku felt she should present herself anyway. The girl looked harmless, and there wasn't any hostility in her expression, so Ranmyaku was mildly put at ease.
"Did you see something you like? Maybe you'd like to join him in the tent?" Ranmyaku teased, leaping to the ground from the top of one of the many trees surrounding the area. She smiled brightly, her long lavender hair falling behind her as she stood up. The locks of her thigh length hair wrapped her and unwrapped her as it swayed with her every slight motion. The sprite tilted her head, hiding all of her magical signature as to not scare of the docile looking creature she'd found. "I'm sure he could use a companion in the state he's in."
The suggestion held more a little sarcasm as she spoke to the spy before her. Though, Ranmyaku simply thought it was all in the fun.

Bahira, taken off-guard, nearly fell off the tree branch to the ground below. She didn't see the form of a rather beautiful woman approach her. Bahira couldn't even hear or feel her. She was concerned that this woman possessed abilities to become invisible sensory wise from her youkai abilities.
So the boy has a companion, with quite a bit of sarcastic wit, Bahira thought. She didn't want to appear childish with a response to the woman's suggestion; she ignored the proposal altogether.
She descended the tree and stood before the being. She placed one hand on Echo-Moon, ready to strike. She eyed the woman suspiciously before saying, "Who are you? Are you with him? How many more are there of you?"
While the woman did not seem particularily threatening, Bahira was careful, ears constantly perking, listening to her surroundings for others.
