Anatomy and Anomalies [Yancha; Closed]

[Kagaku Ikasu]

Ikasu was at work deep within the confides of his laboratory's most inner sanctum. The hum of electronics and his floating platform all dispersed through the facility did nothing to deter the diligent Elohite form his studies, which at he current moment happen to be fixated upon the anatomy of Celestials.

Upon investigation Ikasu found that Celestials did not differ from race to race physically, but magically, each was innately different, each Choir as unique as a fingerprint, and this discovery led Ikasu to postulate many things. He had covered much ground in the in developing the technology required to bond the unique Kyrum to their Elementech bodies, but even this was a scratch upon the surface, he still lacked knowledge of what occurred in the change from Upright to Fallen, something that if discovered would prove invaluable to both his research and his nation's crusade.

Suddenly their was a buzz on one of the open channels in his lab, a Ikasu used specific metals in the design of the device that ransmited the information to him. "Interruptions..." Ikasu said in his usual blank and detached manner, waving his hand adjacent of the screen his looked upon, another screen coming into view. On the viewer was a youthful looking Upright, one Ikasu had become familiar with due to his intrusive and idealistic nature. "Yuki, yet again you disturb my research, I assume your reasoning is valid for the intrusion?" Ikasu said to the screen, his sterling eyes reflecting into the screen.

"Yes, my reason is very valid, I have found you a research assistant, as specified by the Council of Elders in agreement with the Elementech Project." Yuki said, hiding his deceit within his clerical knowledge. Yuki stood in the first layer at the First Check Point, speaking through a two way communication device. "He is a human with a sizable vernacular, and extensive knowledge in healing of various Races, Celestial included, with a specimen in tow you mind find of interest." Yuki added, hoping to enhance the promise of their immediate acceptance.

"I was not aware of this, but no matter, it shall be investigated upon the commencement of the research, you are allowed to send them, the teleportation device shall be ready momentarily." Ikasu said, pressing a button on the console in front of him, activating the Teleporter and turning off the view screen. Raising his hand, he summoned his riding board to travel top the upper levels of the lab to met them at their point of arrival.

[Kawairashii Yancha]

Yancha, having been searched and questioned at the check-point, only to be allowed entrance by the word of the odd upright he had come with. The feeling of unwelcome seemed to fill him as he looked around looking at those who'd questioned him, as well as the people passing by. He read from all of the people around him various levels of elemental attunement, and even among those seemingly weak, he sensed a great level of magical potential. Yancha felt different traces of magic coming from a few of the people he encountered, he realized quickly that the many forms of celestial were likely as different as the ones he'd already run into. Fallen and upright had a common and distinct difference from one another he couldn't quite place his finger on. The choirless ones were as close to human as anything he'd seen from non-humans before, but even they were vastly separate in the ways of their magical connections.

Yancha discontinued his thoughts just long enough for the screen that he saw before him to take his attention. The upright that had led him thus far, Yuki, was speaking to some metallic creature. Yancha had a sense that this man had an oddity about him as Arashi did, elemental fusion of a sort. Yancha had no surprise in his mind about the man's predicament, it was likely a relatively common matter among these beings. It did seem, however, that this Yuki character was trying to do something beyond his abilities. The man permitted Yancha's entry and closed the screen, then Yancha turned to the man.

"Just what are you playing at? First you basically tell us to get lost, only to bring us here and offer my little sister as a specimen? I don't like this at all friend, what's going on here?" Yancha spoke quietly as to not arouse suspicion in a place where he held no backing, but his voice held a likely nonthreatening menace. The young Luxferre perked up sensing the annoyance in the speech pattern of the doctor. In her mind she was still charged with his protection, and elevated patterns of aggression or tension would mean she needed to step in.
