Cielle thought that it would be a nice chance, now that she was back going between the Mortal and Celestial Realms, to be able to see her old friend from Heaven, Shirogane Kirara. They had not been on a playdate in some number of years [Celestial time], and she had wondered how her friend had grown. Tomoyo had always told her to be careful with uprights who claimed to be friends with you, because oppression can change people's opinions about things. Heaven was not open to her any longer, not since Tohru had disappeared, and she had not dared to venture there for her friend for fear of capture. Considering that Tomoyo just had a child, and that there was a treaty between Heaven and Hell at the moment regarding such visitations, she was not going to have her mother attempting to bail her out of Heavenly prison for going to meet a friend, nor would she have Kirara get in trouble for such a thing.
So she had sent the girl a letter detailing a meeting between the two of them in the Mortal Realm.
Well, not exactly the two of them. Arashi had seemed rather bored in the castle whenever there was no one around to entertain him, so she had invited him to go with her. She did not know how Kirara would react to him, so she would just have to see about that.
They were out in a mall in West Virginia, some place where most Celestials never dared to go. Nothing very interesting had happened there since the land was first settled by Humans, and thus, it was the perfect place to go. She knew that Arashi wouldn't be the most comfortable there, but...he needed more experience being social anyway, in Cielle's mind, so the trip was beneficial to everyone.
Wondering whether or not Kirara was going to show, she paced around a bench near the North entrance of the Mall.

Arashi was not so sure about following Cielle into the mortal realm. There were a few reasons that he'd have rather stayed home, one being the person they would be meeting. It may have been kept unknown to hell, but he was the murderer of Haruhi and the people in her castle. The fact that his last act as an upright was destroying the castle of one of Heaven's kings and slaughtering the angels there was not something he found easy to tell Tomoyo. Though, when he thought about it, he wasn't all that in the wrong. He had told them to do something and they didn't move properly, he only administered due punishment. Though, no matter what he said he couldn't convince himself of this, nor could he convince Ranmyaku, who'd chosen to skip along in the middle of the mall. Arashi sighed and looked over to his companion for the day. Cielle was nothing but a large confusion and he was likely never to understand her. She was cute and her smile warmed him greatly, it was nice to be around her, but he couldn't figure her out. She had dismissed him completely in front of that strange big guy. Though, the guy was almost about to blow her into a pile of dust(Arashi was watching nearby in case a chance to show his coolness appeared). He felt as if he was only momentary amusement for her use, and he didn't get how she thought at all. He looked up at her and walked without paying attention to anything. Ranmyaku skipped about freely and jumped in front of him and stopped, looking at him sweetly. "What's wrong Arashi-kun"You're starring Idiot. If you like her you should just tell her and get it over with.I don't know if she even thinks of me like that."Nothings wrong Ran-chan." Arashi sighed and walked up nearer to Cielle and smiled. He tried to push Ranmyaku out of his mind for the moment. His mind ran through things to say. How about you tell her you're a murderer before it comes out randomly to her heavenly friend. All of heaven knows your face by now.You don't know that and we don't even know if we're meeting an upright. She might have been meeting with a Youkai.Arashi looked around at the people walking around and felt mildly nervous. He wasn't much good with crowds, he didn't like groups of people he wasn't going to kill looking at him. At least they turned away, that way he felt mildly more at ease. Talking to humans after so long, it was awkward. Arashi usually only talked to the ones who had souls worth taking, but talking just to talk wasn't easy. It was almost habit to lure out a wish or two when he spoke to the little mortals. It was hard to believe he thought he had been one of them, not to mention had defended it so roughly. Now, he was forced to tuck in the haze of his wings and draw in the chaos. Since the wings were made of chaos he had to draw the energy into him and release Ranmyaku to avoid them popping up. Though, Ranmyaku was unable to hide her ears and tail. "Hey Cielle. Why did you want me to come meet your friend with you? I mean.. I thought you didn't even consider me 'your' friend. And where is this chick from, better yet, what is she?"

Kirara entered the mall dressed in a short blue and white dress, she carried along a matching tote.
It had been so many years since Kirara last visited with, let alone spoken to, her dear friend Cielle, one of the only ones she had. In the years since their last playdate, so to speak, she had grown up immensely. She had begun formal training in martial arts, scholastic endevours, and matters of history and stately affairs.
Kirara was allowed to know some pressing Heavenly matters. It was as her mother had said, 'preparing her for her futre role as queen.' And Kirara was, to say the least, a little worried about becoming any type of ruler.
So today, was a day of relaxation, and for that she was glad.
I hope Cielle will still like me, she slightly nervous young Shirogane thought, I hope I haven't changed too much.
Kirara rounded the corner of the mall, and spotted her friend. She put a on a smile and approached, then her smile nearly wavered at the sight of a male hanging nearby.

It had been such a hectic time after her encounter with Tai. she had barely escaped with her life, at least by the measure of Tai's anger. She had seen it, all of that raw power and rage all being channeled in one attack aimed solely at her. Her words, she felt, at only delayed his response. Obviously, there was something about her that made him not want to kill her. Was he perhaps in such control of his rage that he did not want to kill an innocent? She would have believed this if she hadn't revealed that she was Tomoyo's daughter before he left. He had said that he had lost his family. What if he had lost children? Then Cielle's existence was a mystery all on it's own.
Cielle was prepared to die for her mother with no fear and no regrets, but a visitor like Tai had shaken her. She was not afraid of him; but she was afraid for him. How would a person function with that much anger in them after not getting his revenge? When her mother was well again, she would have to tell her about the attack and have her send soliders to monitor the Mortal Realm. He could go off any moment.
Looking around at the mall, she attempted to put the issue away from her mind. She was not discussing it for her mother now, so she would stay in the moment. Arashi, after all, had looked emmensely hurt when she had ignored him at Tai's arrival. However, she had wanted to make it up to him, which is why he was here with her. Something still seemed off about him; she supposed that he hadn't understood why he was sent away--Cielle thought she had made it clear that she was doing something by herself and she wanted to be alone to do it, without any hard feelings and such. The message hadn't gotten through, then.
She was thinking about asking him if he was alright; on second thought, requesting him to come here with her wasn't the best plan. She should have asked more politely, and she should have told him who they who they were going to meet. Kirara was an upright, and Cielle knew that most Fallen were uncomfortable around them.
Most angels, however, could use magic to conceal their wings from most eyes. Cielle no longer remembered what choir Kirara was from, as she had been adopted and therefore wasn't an Elohite like Setsuna. Cielle was personally glad of that, because she couldn't imagine having as much fun as she used to have with Kirara with an Elohite.
Ranmyaku was out, her tail and ears showing proudly. Arashi seemed unable to get them to go away, she guessed, and she would not point out a flaw in his magical prowess by asking him to get rid of them. They were in a crowded mall--no one would really notice, and those who she had seen taking a second look still kept going, probably thinking that it was a costume. It was very probable. She herself used to go to the Mortal Realm, going to conventions and such with her youkai half-form. It was a real hit with the Mortal men, to say the least.
Seeing Arashi's apprehensive disposition, she wanted to ask if he was okay, but he posed a question first, asking about the nature of their guest.
"She's a very good friend of mine; almost a sister to me," she said, forcing herself not to think about her actual sisters--it would just make the moment more sad.
That was when, emerging from the middle of a large crowd, she she the brightest blue hair in the bunch. Immediately, she knew that it was Kirara.
"That's her!" she shouted, running toward her, so happy that she missed Kirara's expression--something she usually paid attention to--and hugged her without taking a breath.

The explanation he received as an answer gave him about all the information he had already. He now knew that this person was a friend more dear then he'd first believed. The thought of him being here at the meeting of two very dear friends made him feel out of place. Ranmyaku had taken to chatting with random people and taking pictures with what must have been tourists. All Arashi could do was shake his head and move on, he couldn't do much to her without repercussions in any case. For the most part she was harmless, and being all too sweet in her dealings with the mortals. The sight of her put him a bit more at ease, it wasn't as if he hadn't been raised in the mortal realm. It was odd that he feel more awkward now then in all the years he'd spent as an outcast anyway.
The sprite being as preoccupied with playing about as she was made Arashi understand that he should be at ease here. He was more powerful and smarter then most of them anyway, why feel out of place among ones food supply? Arashi's rather interesting perception of the human race was now that they were food for soul and nothing more. He sighed though, understanding that it may be seen as a bad thing to see in an the race that predates his own. either way, by the reaction they had to him and Ranmyaku they suspected nothing and he needn't worry about his incapability to change Ranmyaku's appearance. Her tail and ears were perked and moving as would any living cat's, and he had no clue as to how to hide them magically. The process of her shaping from his blood was not in his direct control anyway, so it was not his to change at will.
Looking up he saw first the reaction that the stranger had to his being there then Cielle's expression. He couldn't help but smile seeing Cielle happy, she had such a sweet smile. Arashi's moment of fawning was of course uninhibited by his thoughts for all of six seconds. Then, in a manner common of the sprite Ranmyaku invaded his thoughts.
You don't ever get a smile like that huh? Jealous? I don't think that girl is from here if you catch my drift. At least, I can feel more from her then a mortal magical signature.
And since when have you been a magic detector?
Since I'm a living body of magical blood maybe? You really are stupid.
Arashi shot the prancing figure of Ranmyaku a quick glance of annoyance and strode off to meet the strange female. He took not of the brilliant blue hair with the same easy smile he was used to showing. His pretty boy charm at it's fullest, naturally in the hopes he didn't embarrass himself completely. Meeting new people wasn't so difficult for one who specialized in snatching souls.
"Um.. Hi" Arashi's voice fell from his lips in a mildly awkward phrase as he waved his greeting.

"Cielle!" Kirara squeeked, nearly falling over at the embrace. "It's been too long!" She gave her friend a good squeeze and laughed at Cielle's smile.
It was true. Kirara had missed her friend so much. With everything else going on, it was good for them to see each other. Heaven and Hell was having many problems with each other, and the last things Kirara wanted to do is cause more tension. At the moment she didn't care, she much rather be with her friend.
Fuck policies, she just wanted to have fun.
After a warm greeting by Cielle, it was then, that Kirara turned her attention to the unidentified male. He had spoken to her, but she barely heard him.
Kirara, having the background that she did, was very wary of strangers of any kind. From his body language, she could tell he was a little nervous, as he should be; she may be a child, but would respond with force to a threat.
"Hello." she said evenly and with warning in her tone.
"Cielle, who is this?" the blue haired girl asked, knowing that he was more than a human, by the obviousness of his ears and the reading she was getting from his power.

Arashi seemed awkward in greeting Kirara, and Kirara seemed awkward in meeting him. Well, this turned out to be a royal mess. Cielle wasn't too sure what to do at this point, so she just put on her best smile and moved forward.
"This is a friend of mine," Cielle said, gesturing toward Arashi. "Mama picked him up in the Mortal Realm and took him in. We're taking care of him, sort of. I brought him with us because he didn't have anything better to do. You know, with Mama having her child and all. I get to be a sister again!" she said, overlooking the fact that her statement referenced her two younger sisters, Yamiko and Minako, Chiyo's children.
"I just wanted to meet with you for a moment. I know that you have things to do and your mother is busy. But I can't come to Heaven anymore, as you should know, because of policy, so I thought that I would meet you here. I wanted to know how Setsuna is doing. How are you doing? You're so grown up now! What's been going on with you? Are you any closer in your studies from taking Setsuna's place?"

Arashi found himself feeling oddly unaccepted in the current environment. By the way it looked upon his approach the girl didn't like his company. Then, even as he was apparently introduced as her adopted friend. The whole situation seemed to point him out as the trespassing party. The fact that she looked at him in a mild annoyance from what he saw. Her tone was a bit edgy and he felt that she was not so impressed by his docile approach to her. He lost much of the nervousness he'd held about making a decent impression and more or less saw this event as a budding annoyance.
"Well it's nice to meet you, I'm Mishiranu Arashi."
Arashi left his inhibition to the wind because it was apparently not getting him anywhere. It wasn't as if this female was anything too much harder to handle then the ones he'd spoken to thus far. His speech was as smooth and alluring as his ability to modify it without being obvious would allow. though, that natural charm often met with a frown on the part of those he spoke to. The young Djinni extended a hand with a mild smile that curled his features just enough to brighten his appearance. He locked his eyes to hers as if to ensure he wasn't looking anywhere less appropriate. It would have been a waste to have left the realm of hell to simply tag along as a third wheel that wasn't even welcome.
Being a bit bold huh there? I thought you liked Cielle?
No such thing.. but being shy seemed to have ticked her off.

Kirara smilled. "Why didn't you tell me this sooner, Cielle? I didn't know...a friend of Cielle's is a friend of mine!" she said trying to ease the tension she created.
"Arashi, sorry about that. I can't help but be cautious. So are you kind of like Cielle's brother?" she asked.
"So Cielle," Kirara said turning her attention back to her dear friend, "how is it? Being a sister, that is." She choose to omit the fact that there was the twins and that whole situation. "I don't think my mother wants any more children."
Kirara moved on. "I'm so glad we could meet, also! We've been so busy, Setsuna and I, and with this war brewing, it's nice to get away. Can you believe it? Mama has me training eveyday now. Before it was just every few days. I wake up early to train, everyday!!! And next year, I will get sent to my mother's martial arts master for additional training. It's just too much, sometimes.
"Oh, and don't get me started on lessons. History, magic, economics, language...just about everything! I study so much sometimes, I don't get to see my friends for days, or Uncle Yama. I'm surprised she even let me out of the house! But she has been a little distracted by Xanthus..." Kirara fell silent, realizing she was talking way to much.
"So...what's been going on with you Ceille?"
"Arashi, what part of the mortal realm are you from, if you don't mind me asking?"

Cielle as glad that Kirara was open to Arashi's presence. She giggled when the comparison was made of Arashi being like a brother. She supposed so, since her mother was the one who had taken him in, but he was awfully flirtaeous for a brother--hence her laugh. But she said nothing, leaving the answer of that question up to Arashi himself. She felt that if she said the wrong thing his feeling would be hurt again.
When Kirara asked about being a sister, Cielle said, "Actually, she's at home with the baby right now. I haven't seen it yet; I wanted to give her some space to calm down. She was rather upset after returning from the hospital." Cielle was pretty sure that her mother's troubles had something to do with Ren, but she didn't mention that in light of the fact that Ren had been one of the most hated kings in Heaven.
Kirara described her life in general, her training with her mother. She seemed rather excited about it, although Cielle could not personally fathom lessons with an Elohite. They were so...disconnected from things. It would be difficult for her to cooperate with them, she guessed. "I'm glad that you're making progress. And I can imagine it being too much. I've got a lot on my plate now, too, since I've been helping Maman with her work.
When she made the comment about Xanthus, Cielle raised an eyebrow. "Distracted? You don't mean..." but she trailed off, not willing to really express the extreme idea that she was harboring. Taking the opportunity to change the subject when Kirara asked how she was doing, Cielle said amiably, "Well, I've just been busy, like I said earlier I've been taking over my mother's work. At least some of it. She actually does a lot more than I thought that she did when I was younger. A LOT more. I really couldn't believe it. She's kept it fairly organized though, so I'm just updating paperwork and things in pieces...a lot of it is boring..." she paused. "That, and of course, hanging out with Arashi when I can...there's a lot of new people in the castle now since I've left. There are Elves there now, and a Djinni by the name of Migoto. He's rather charming, and sensitive. He's even nice to Humans. Momma likes him too. He plays gorgeous music all the time. I think even Heaven may have been sad to lose him. He's really nice."

Arashi was pleased to have Kirara open up easily, it wasn't at all as annoying as having to spend his day attempting to get on her good side. Arashi hadn't much reason to talk to people anymore, it was usually a short interview followed by sudden lack of a living soul. He felt at ease though to find that he was still a sociable person. His time spent snatching souls and wandering for no real reason hadn't quite wasted his words. The development of his unique way of charming others was not exactly a good idea around Cielle and her mother either. The blue haired female talked on for a moment of things he was sure didn't really concern him before asking him where in the mortal realm he was from, though before he could answer the sarcastic voice of his other conscious jumped into his mind as she danced circles around the fountain of the lobby.
Why not tell her you're an unwanted spawn from the depths of hell. The only male even half demon in this universe. Now that I think about it.. that's something to be proud of isn't it Arashi.
Arashi was unsure if the comment was an insult or an honest question, but either way he was not pleased. Without so much as a glance or glare Arashi responded mentally while Cielle went into her response to Kirara.
I'm sure that would only make things odd. Though, I never really thought of it like that..
Makes you feel special don't it brat.
Whatever little Ran. I don't need this from a thrice enslaved sprite stuck in my body. Damned Parasite.
I'm really more of a symbiont.
The giggling sprite pranced over and fell halfway into a bow in front of Kirara. As she bent back to an upright position her pleasant smile remained unfading and her feline eyes glimmered as she spoke on Arashi's part and her own.
"Arashi's from Japan. He's a crazed otaku, you see how he makes me dress? And the things he does to me when we're al..."
Arashi more or less alowed her to speak without complaint as she needed to introduce herself, but her comments again were going a bit two far so in the middle of her last word he jumped and more or less gripped Ranmyaku's face to shut her mouth and sighed. He turned and looked a bit frustrated and recovered himself with a chuckle that was obviously full of jittery nerves.
"This is Ranmyaku, my constant companion. I can't get rid of her actually... and I'm not an otaku.. she just seems to like the way she looks."
He explained himself in the hopes that the sprite hadn't ruined the shaky ground that had so recently been established.

"Seems like a lot" Kirara replied to Cielle, "I couldn't imagine it. The amount of work our parents have is nothing less than astonishing"
Kirara's eyes widened as the being 'danced' out of Arashi's body. She tried to remain stoic, like her mother, and so many of the other elohim, but it just wasn't possible, she wasn't even an elowite to begin with. She almost jumped.
"You have another being inside your body?" she asked, not as a question per se, but more as a confirmation of her not being momentarily insane. "She can come out at will?!" Kirara hoped she didn't sound too rude or straightforward in asking. Kirara knew she shouldn't have been surprised as she was an the entrance of Arashi's 'other' persona; in all the worlds anything was nearly possible, but she was a little taken back.

Ranmyaku prancing across the mall toward them had apparently given Kirara the impression she'd come from his body. He looked at her with mild shock and unhidden amusement when she reacted with such a stunned expression. So far Ranmyaku had been treated with cool indifference or hostile eyes. She had never simply sent someone into a stunned daze. Arashi liked the expression and his smile broke into a deep calmly humoruos laugh. Arashi shook his head and wiped his eye, teasing her to believe it was comical to the point of tears.
"Yes.. I'm not sure how you pieced it together but she does indeed live in my body. She can't just pop out whenever, she has to be... well she has to be cut out. In any case... she's pleased to meet you," Arashi explained without loosing all of his smile while his expression showed how it bothered him to fin the word to explain her extraction from his veins.
Who says I'm pleased to meet her? Uprights are assholes. You'd be better off not getting close to the lot of the, it won't end well for you killer
Her words blew through his mind, though the killer part held the mocking nickname feeling it hurt a bit. As far as Arashi knew he was nothing but a murderer by nature and a slave to devotions and the will of others by blood. He had been saved the chains of slavery by the magical malfunction of his birth, but not the desire to be devoted. The need to belong with someone or belong somewhere was an odd feeling he couldn't get rid of.
Killer huh? Maybe I'll never be acceptable then? Haahah oh well.
Arashi stood holding his arm around Ranmyaku's waist and his hand still gripped her jawline. Ranmyaku looked up at him, a hint of fearful worry marking her pleasant expression and darkening her eyes as the delirium in his thoughts continued to become obvious. He was slowly losing it and she could tell. He was distabalized by blood and magic...it wouldn't be long till it caught up with him.

Cielle flashed Arashi a frown; he had not expected Ranmyaku to "dance" out from him, considering that Kirara was an upright. Technically, she could have gotten into a little trouble, but Setsuna was usually understanding about Kirara's lonely predicament up in Heaven.
However, despite his display of...magic, Kirara seemed accepting of Arashi and his...duality.
"Are you hungry?" she asked Kirara politely; of course, Uprights and Fallen never were "hungry" per se, but sometimes they craved such things purely for the taste. However, Cielle was a youkai, and she was very hungry right now. "If you want something to eat, too, Arashi, I don't mind getting something for you."
She was trying to get them to move; she had actually wanted to do something fun with Kirara, since they were at the mall.

Kirara turned to Cielle, "As a matter of fact, I am hungry..." She lowered her voice considerably, looking at Cielle and Arashi directly, "Don't tell anyone, I'm not really "supposed" to eat food, but Setsuna doesn't mind or the in-house staff, but she tells me not to eat while I'm out. Setsuna herself, won't eat, but she told me I could, if I so desired."
"Food is yummy! Then maybe games or shopping!"
