For the most part, I just need those with warnings listed about the Most Honorable and dishonorable deeds to actually add them to your profile.

I'm sure that some of you will be disappointed to hear this. However, this announcement will be taking place regardless.
Now that Rei is gone, her influence will no longer be affecting the RPG. Everything that she's posted will remain the same--Unless I'm completely deleting the concept all together, like the description of the Seirei, then I'll repost it under my name--but I'll be posting new policies and be making new changes now that I don't need to contact her for approval.
Don't take this as a sign that I'm going to be taking over the RPG or anything like that, but there are a number of things here that I have always thought were unfair/unjust/etc., and I will taking the time now to take care of that.
I'll be consulting with Mei throughout this process, so if she wishes to help me or make any comments or anything, she can do that. I want your input, too, but I also want you guys' input as well.
Now, to actually explain what it is that I'm doing...
There are quite a bit of profiles on the RPG that have abilities/powers, etc, that I have always thought were a bit....excessive. Even with the things that I've accepted, I've talked to Rei about the abilities [even when she wasn't logging on] and she typically says that a lot of things are okay that I don't agree with.
So, I will be reading through every accepted profile [including my own], and asking the writers to edit/eliminate certain aspects of their characters special abilities or strength sections to fit the current rules of the RPG.
I will be asking you all to edit these sections based on these things:

I want you all to keep in mind that I'm not taking away magical potential. I'm not going to tell you that you can't have a specific element or anything like that. What I will tell you, though is that specific abilities that you list--like being able to create effects with your magic, certain attacks, etc.--might be asked to be removed. I'd rather you have vague descriptions of magic that I can correct directly in threads than something detailed on your profile that I disagree with.

I will be asking you all to edit these sections based on these things:
- How long you've been with the RPG--I won't be giving out "unlimited" power based off of how long you've been on the RPG, but I'll definitely be thinking about how your lengthy stay reflects your commitment to your character and how it affects your control and intent.
- How old your character is--This will only affect your characters a little. There are a lot of people here who have made old characters just so that they could claim power without the effort.
- What abilities you actually use--If you don't use abilities on the RPG, then I won't let you have them. Abilities come with experience and practice, and if I don't see any of that, then you'll have to remove certain abilities until you show your character actively acquiring/working/learning them.
- How much fighting your character does/is implied to have done in your History--if the ratio is uneven, then I'll ask you to remove some of the abilities that you have. I'm sorry, but it doesn't make any sense for a character to miraculously have abilities that they've never used in the past OR present. I can't allow that.
- How much fighting has your character done on the board?--This is important. I realize that there are older characters whose escapades/fights aren't on this version of the RPG. But I ran that board, too, and I know what you have and haven't done. Remember that the time line goes all the way up until Haruhi's crowning. There are only two or three unchronicled fights, and I know what they are. I can judge you just as well on the other components, even without this. As for the people on this board, it's impossible for you all to have characters that are so old and have never gotten into a fight. Even if you're only writing a narrative, or implying that you've just finished a fight that isn't up in detail, effort counts. However, I know there are some characters that will only fight under circumstances. I will be keeping this in mind. I'm still trying to be fair.
- Does your writing skill match up to your claims?--I really hate that there are some characters that have implied to have done things in past in the Kiseki-verse, but that currently they are not doing anything that even hints at the kind of skill that was described. Much like Rei being a "Dragon slayer" as well as having been the head of all Youkai in her past life, she didn't write in a way that made you believe that she had ever done it outside of references, and that is important.
