Personality: Chooses her words wisely, but is very intuitive about what other need or do not need to hear. She is good at delicately pointing out the flaws in others, while some times her sharp tongue slices through those arrogant enough to think her a fool. She has a definition of right and wrong that is clear to her, but always takes both sides into consideration. Is very kind and gentle, but carries herself with a regal air that is uncommon especially in the modern Human world. She especially loves children and those who show potential to be great people, no matter what race they are.
History: She was born on the outskirts of Aledo, her mother having been kidnapped by those seeking fortune from the Moriteruze family name. After her mother was recovered, she was taken in by the family founder, whom she had been named after. Her namesake was an evil Ookamijin who took pleasure in hunting Humans in the night. The Founder attempted to teach her some of sacred arts of their family, who were typically raised to be guardians of jin cities and areas, but Kaori refused. She ran away, to the dismay of her parents, and her portion of the family tree was cut off from the main branch. Now Kaori claims to no longer have a last name, preferring to allow her deeds to speak for what others should call her.
When her family was cut off from the main line, she was forced to adapt to everyday life for those whom the Founder deemed "Peasants", and at the early age of 16 took off to explore the Mortal Realm in its entirety on her own, her gifted usage of the Element of Mind helping her conceal herself amongst the Humans while she learned from them. Now an adult, she is the very balanced mix of her family's regal upbringing and the humility that it requires to live a life of poverty.
Strengths: honest, wise, poised, patient, gentle, a quick learner, makes objective and clear decisions
Weaknesses: sometimes seems apathetic, slow to drop a grudge, has high standards for all that she does, within reason.
Most honorable deed: Kaori's most honorable deed is her oath to protect her city. She serves as the Elder for the town, though she isn't the mayor, and she solves problems, speaks to the youth regularly, acts in the stead of various jobs--she has been a teacher, a doctor of sorts, a secretary and a manager for a hotel for a day. She has also delivered mail for the town on one occasion.
Most dishonorable deed: Her most dishonorable deed so far has been running away from her grandmother when she was a child. The action caused her family to be broken from the main branch, and she knew that her parents suffered for it.
