[Takes place right after Men of Honor]
Kensei followed the young man Mr. Bleache had assigned to return his weapons down a long corridor, no windows to adorn its blank white walls, just a door every few feet, on adjacent ends of one another. The meeting and request had not sat well with Kensei since he had left the office where the once injured Kensei lie so abruptly, causing the already suspicious shinobi much worry, as the prying the man who had saved his life seemed to end so sudden, as if the minor details Kensei showed him were more than sufficient. "I have shown him no way to get within the village, nor have I informed him on any of guard positions or interception points or defense weaknesses..." Kensei thought to himself as he continued to follow the intern.
None of these thoughts did anything to comfort Kensei though, and depsite all those things reference in his inner monologue, none of them stopped the fiend Arashi in his spree of murderous carnage, the event that set Kensei on the path he tread at that very moment. It was then he and the intern passed an elevator, which lie acroos from the room where the man known as Johnathon stopped him. "You're equipment is in this room, if you'll follow me..." Johnathon said as he unlocked the door via keycard. As the door's lock LED went from red to green, Johnathon opened the door and allowed Kensei to enter first. His weaponary and devices appeared unaltered, lying on the table in the same condition he left them in.
Looking back at the intern, Kensei had let the thoughts simmer in his head long enough before he decided on his next course of action. Arashi's sudden entrance into his home village had seemed odd to Kensei from inception, and now he had just seemingly betrayed the location of the village to a stranger whose sight and thoughts did not lie within the realm of safety Kensei would have liked to think for his former home.
"Why does he want go to Tenmeigakure, knowing he or who ever he sends will not live through the encounter...?" Kensei thought, before he could connect what he knew for himself. He was attacked by Arashi, and then found, by sheer luck, by a man that demanded information about his home in exchange.Kensei now understood fully what he had to do, closing his eyes and channeling his Light elemental powers to create a barrier of static interference, jamming any and all signals that may be monitoring him. "I must warn Tsurugi and the others!" Kensei said as he dashed toward the the door at an amazing speed, instantly overwhelming the young intern. Before he could even cry out for help, Kensei's fast hand had already struck a nerve cluster on his neck, side, and back, rendering him silent and unconscious.
Catching the falling body, Kensei place him against the wall inside the room as he closed the door behind. Grabbing his equipment, Kensei had properly fitted himself with his equipment, removing a hand held scanner, using it to inspect the visual details of the interns body. Kensei intricately scanned his facial features, body, and fingerprints. After acquiring all the data he needed, Kensei latched the device onto his belt, his visual appearance blurring until he resembled Johnathon in every detail, down to his glasses and tuft of hair, his device serving as a cloak and self image replicator. Removing a pliable bag from his belt, Kensei stretch the bag to a large enough size, and placed Johnathon within the confides of the bag, taking care to leave him unharmed, placing his limbs in a moderately comfortable yet space efficient configuration.
Placing a small electrode on the bag, Kensei feed his magic into the receiver, turning the bag invisible, giving him the appearance of someone placing his arm behind his neck as he effortlessly lifted the frail young man. Using his visage, Kensei exited the building through the lobby after taking an elevator up to the commercial floors of the facility, Johnathon's fingerprints proving to be useful as they were needed to operate the special commands in the elevator. From here Kensei would return to his former home to inform Tsurugi, a man Kensei sorely regretted not having relied upon before his departure.
