Special Abilities: Very good at magic; she is a shapeshifter, and she uses her talent very well.
This isn't a special ability, but Sanada Tomo is also proficient at the usage of a number of weapons, having learned how to use them from various Humans in the Mortal Realm. However, although she occasionally practices, she does not use armed combat often; she relies heavily on magic.

Birthdate: not sure, but sometime around the Human month of January.
Birthplace: Celestial Realm; Heaven, Seventh Layer

Personality: Tomoyo was at first a kind and gentle King of Heaven. After she fell, she gained a resentful, sarcastic and lusty nature; now, she is very subdued, though pieces of her past personalities do show up very often. It is hard to judge which is her true personality. She is loyal to those who are loyal to her, and she does not break her word unless she considers you unworthy for her to keep it.
History: Tomoyo was born in Heaven and trained by Suzaku to be King of the Seventh Layer of Heaven. She reigned for several decades and led Heaven to peace and helped to repair the relationships between Celestials and Humans. She did not remember her past life, and was discovered invoking magic to aid her memory by Mikage Tsubasa, who immediately brought her before the other Kings and condemned her. After being tried, she was cast from Heaven.
After dwelling with Humans for a short time in the Mortal Realm, Tomoyo used her shapeshifting powers to give herself a new look, donning the figure of a man and seeking out as much magical power as possible in his state. Changing his first name to Tomo, he bonded with the other lifeforms that had been neglected by the Celestials, finding the Ruling Elemental Spirit of Darkness and soliciting the King and Queen of Elves to allow him to use some of their dream-based magic. Using these two as a base, he was able to cleave and cordon off a section of the Celestial Realm, creating Hell.
After recruiting several other Angels who did not like Heaven's policies to work with him--to rule the seven layers of Hell, which he made parallel to Heaven on purpose--he negotiated peace between the two areas with the King of Heaven who had replaced him, his lover when he had ruled in Heaven, Miyazawa Chiyo. As the other Heavenly Kings had been raised with him, once they figured out who was (or had been), they settled for uneasy peace.
At one point, Sanada Tomo had fallen for Yamazaki Ren, the angelic twin brother of her second-in-command of Hell, the Rai-ou of the Fifth Layer of Hell, Yamazaki Rei. However, at this point Tomo had two other children, both by a shapeshifter named Celeste Blanche. Tsubasa attempted to stop this union by killing Ren, but she herself was killed in the retaliation.
Still steeped in the lusty ways he had begun to practice in the Mortal Realm, Tomo still managed to have two more children, both by Miyazawa Chiyo, before killing her himself. At that point, relations between Heaven and Hell had not been good, and Tomo justified his actions by claiming that as the father of her children, he had the right to kill Chiyo before the War did.
Reverting back to her female form for the majority of the time, she attempted to patch Heaven and Hell's relationship with the public display of a dual wedding of herself and Ren, a King of Heaven at that time, and Hishikawa Tohru and Tsubarisu Hotaka.
At this wedding, members of his own Hellion ranks, Karasu Itsuki and Ishii Shoko, decided to rebel, shattering all hope of repairing bridge between the two realms.
With the ressurection of Tsubasa and the Deus project, Tomoyo was forced to deal with the reappearances of several people in his past--including Miyazawa Chiyo, the mother of his children. However, this reunion did not last long; Chiyo simply took both of her children and vanished.
She is now trying to solicit the help of older Heavenly Kings to put a stop to the battles before the new generation of Heavenly Kings, who do not know of Heaven and Hell's complicated History, destroy both realms in a quest for combat.
Strengths: Loyal, roots for the underdog, willing to forgive some past transgressions
Weaknesses: Plays favorites, lusty, vicious when angry.
Most honorable deed: Sanada Tomoyo's most honorable deed, above anything else that she has done for any other person, is the successful ruling of Heaven as a peaceful, productive nation. No other Heavenly King after her fall has achieved this--Chiyo was rather close, but her progress was soon shattered by her attack on the fourth of Hell. Even now, many of the older uprights, even if they do not like her, cannot help but admit that Heaven was a wonderful place to reside during her reign, and that is the thing that gives her hope that both Heaven and Hell can be progressive together one day.
Most dishonorable deed: Tomo's most dishonorable deed is the killing of Chiyo. While there were quite a few incidences that would have warranted such action, Tomo honestly loved her and wanted to be with her. However, Chiyo was allowing herself to be walked upon by almost everyone in Heaven, and the nation was close to declaring war with Hell for no good reason. Although many believe that Tomo killed Chiyo to deal a staggering blow to Heaven, that is not the logic at all--simple as it is, Tomo could not stand the idea of Chiyo being killed by anyone during any battle at all, and so he took care of this himself. However, more shame is heaped onto this deed in Tomoyo's own opinion of herself because she sent Symphony to kill her rather than doing it with her own bare hands, and the result of her death left Tomo's twins motherless.
