Avalon made his way into the sixth's capital city with a frown upon his face. The city had been wrecked. Not destroyed, as the majority of the buildings were still standing, but the entire city was damaged. It would not be able to support it's citizens properly.
Glancing behind him and seeing the elf, Arya, with him, he knew that restoring the land to the way that it should be wouldn't take as long as he thought, just as his King had told him. There were two different teams of soldiers with him, from the seventh and from the fifth, both groups capable of completing this task.
Turning around as they neared the city, Avalon said in the loudest voice that he could muster, "We are here to rectify something that has gone terribly wrong here. If every one with me tries their best, we can finish this very quickly."
He then chose ten people--from both groups, and sent them to salvage food from the buildings.
The realm was cold, and he knew that Arya would have to help with that. There was snow everywhere. Sanada wasn't kidding when she mentioned the power of this being. It was devistating.
"Arya. Please, help me get rid of this blizzard." Looking out into the crowd, he could see a couple solider who used fire warming the others.
Selecting five more of the soldier to check the underground shelters and act as healers, he sent the rest to meet with those under Yomi--who were already working on relief efforts on their own.
"Before we cure the cold weather," Avalon said to Arya, "I have to see Yomi. She's in bad shape, but I have to let her know that relief is here."

[just as a note, this thread takes place in the middle of "His Arrival"]
Arya looked out into the now snowy landscape. Avalon seemed to have the right idea on how this should function; Tomoyo chose the right person for this job. He quickly grouped the troops that were with them and gave them jobs. The two of them would be going to see Yomi. It made sense. She was badly hurt, and could not oversee the healing of her city first hand. Arya would try to use her magic to heal her as much as possible, if she accepted the offer. Yomi didn't seem to like her in the least, but she had to try. It was a command from Tomoyo after all, and the Ha-ou of Hell had allowed her and her brothers to stay with them.
She was thinking of how to heal the land using the least possible energy. The last time that she had performed magic on this layer, it had taken everything that she had magically, even with Tomoyo acting as a conduit for her magic to amply it. She didn't feel too bad about it, though--she had been reviving an entire layer, so she knew that it would be hard. Hopefully, Avalon would be a nice help--being a Fallen almost as old as Tomoyo--and acting as a similar medium.
Of course, all of this hinged on Yomi expecting their help.
"Of course I'll help. I'm glad that you've got all of the soldiers started."

She was in pain. Yomi hadn't felt this horrible since she died. It had only been a few hours since she had ended her fight with Ilreg. Only a few hours since she had sustained her injureies. The gaping hole in her abdomen remained, although her healers had combined their power to close the wound a little.
And despite all of the damage that she had doled out--that Prince of Dragons had walked away, as though he was superior. Yomi wasn't a Dragon Hunter by any means, but just thinking about that white-haired wretch made Yomi's heart cry out for blood.
"Curse this damnable body!" she yelled loudly.
At almost the exact same moment, a Djinni with navy blue hair and a dark tan arrived. He boasted a cat's tail--striped with black--and he bowed upon entering.
"Kage?" Yomi coughed, trying to get a second wind after her outburst.
"You have guests from the Seventh Layer of Hell. Sanada Tomoyo sends her regards."
Yomi scowled. Her regards? "Tell her envoy," she spat, "that we need more than the Ha-ou's regards. Her words mean nothing to me. They are the words of a King who is was foolish as she ever was.
This was really weighing heavily on her. She would have been more angry, if it wouldn't take her whole reserve of every to do so. How dare Sanada send her words of peace and no action. her city was in shambles and the culprit was gunning after Tomoyo. What a nice reward for risking her life for her King!

"Tell her envoy," she spat, "that we need more than the Ha-ou's regards. Her words mean nothing to me. They are the words of a King who is was foolish as she ever was."
Yomi's voice echoed down the hall, and Avalon took this opportunity to say something to her. Yomi had always been the cocky king, the one that always questioned Tomoyo's good will and opinions. It was a nice privilege for Avalon to be able to show her up...
"Certainly. I'll also tell the Yami-ou of your ridiculously pathetic doubt in her. It's sickening." Avalon was not normally this brazen, but seeing as how Yomi had been reincarnated in a body that perhaps even Avalon himself could match, he found himself strangely unafraid of Yomi in any capacity.
Having known Yomi for so many years, he continued to speak to her casually. "We brought reinforcement from the fifth layer and from the seventh. I have an elf here with me, and she'll be helping me to get rid of all the winter. The Soldiers are helping with the healing and reconstruction."

"How dare you..." Yomi began, her first thought being to chide him for entering her chambers unbidden. However, she actually began to pay attention to what this rat of Tomo was saying she shut her mouth. She didn't need a bad rapport with Tomo right now, as she kept reminding herself, and more than anything she needed the help reconstructing the layer as quickly as possible.
She paused, thinking of what to say. It irked her, thinking that this whore of Tomo's spoke to her that way, but she was honestly in a bind and she knew that more than incompetence, Tomoyo hated insensitivity toward the people who inhabited the layers of Hell.
Gritting her teeth, she said, "...fine, carry on. Ask me for something if you need it."
Recognizing the voice of this particular harlot, she whipped her head around to see the favorite of all the peons, Avalon. She decided not to say anything about him considering that he was helping her, but she felt the need to still establish who the head honcho was in this layer.
"...and if you ever speak to me like that again, I'll kill you."
