Finding his way to the realm of the Celestials, the Joukai was relatively simple, having hired out someone with the expertise and knowledge of inter dimensional gateways, R'pan and his guest, the ill-tempered yet beautiful Sesha had arrived in the first layer of Heaven with relative ease. Outside of the gated section of the entrance to the realm there stood 3 very large sentries, huge machine like golems with glowing eyes near a check-in station where the troupe was greeted by a slender Upright with tussled hair. "State your purpose for entering the Kingdom of Heaven." He said in a monotone voice, his duress at being stranded in what seemed to be a rather dull job obvious from his drab facial expressions and voice.
"We seek leisure and comfort, I'd assume this place has so much of it to offer." R'pan said happily, surprized his answer was less than satisfactory for the guard.
"All visitors must have an explicit purpose for journeying to this realm, recent security breaches have resulted in these thorough checks of all visitors, so if you have no official business here I will have to ask you to leave." The guard said, punching data onto his light based keypad, the robotic sentries behind him standing to their full height, there occular sensors no doubt scanning both R'pan and Sesha
"I guess you could also say this is a trip of an educational nature, as we are traveling scholars from the Umbra, or Draconic or Mythical Realm in the speech of your people. Now please, if there is no more for you to ask of us let us pass." R'pan said, annoyed that he had to further explain himself to this guard, his only authority in the bureaucracy he wielded.
After receiving the scans form the three Elementechs indicating the pair's validity of race and lack of weapons, the guard walked back to his booth and opened the gate, allowing them entrance to the first realm of Heaven. "You will report to the Sixth Layer to receive your housing accommodations, from their you will be briefed on proper Celestial etiquette and allowed access to all but the Fourth Seventh layer of this realm. Enjoy your stay." The clerk said smugly before turning back to his hand held computing device.
"Well Sesha, shall we?" R'pan said, satisfied with getting his way, his boyish grin once again sported on his face.
