Military Ranks

[Yoki Chepi-Isi]

I come to realize that I might need to make a military ranks for the Faeries. These ranks will be somewhat similar to the U.S. Military ranks.

Army:

Officers:
Commanding General

• Generally a prince or princess of the Royal Fae family holds this position. They command all of the army forces.
  

Colonel

• There are at least two Colonel's and up to four during time of war. Each commands an equal portion of the army forces of those under them.
  

Major

• There always two Majors to a Colonel. They each command an equal half of those under their command. One most prove that they are a great military strategist to the Queen Na'ame through a test similar to chess.
  

Captain

• For every Major, there are two Captains under their command. Each Captain commands an equal half of the army under their command. They generally oversee overall training of the army.
  

Enlisted:
Commander

• There are two Commanders for every Captain and they each command an equal half of the men below them. They are in charge of training of the troops.
  
• Since the introduction to the Shika Youkai's in the army, there is also a 2nd in Command position for them which, is also the highest position that is granted to a none fae.
  

Sergeant

• There are only one for every Commander. They assist the Commanders in their duties.
  

Corporal

• They are as many Corporals in the army as needed. They are to follow orders of those above them and command those below them when needed.
  

Private

• Lowest rank of the army. They must follow orders of all those above them.
  

Aviation Force

Officers:
Marshal of the Aviation Force

• Generally a prince or princess of the Royal Fae family holds this position. They command all of the Aviation Force.
  

Colonel

• There are at least two Colonel's and up to four during time of war. Each commands an equal portion of the aviation forces of those under them.
  

Major

• There always two Majors to a Colonel. They each command an equal half of those under their command. One most prove that they are a great military strategist to the Queen Na'ame which the same as the Majors for the Army.
  

Captain

• For every Major, there are two Captains under their command. Each Captain commands an equal half of the army under their command. They generally oversee overall training of the aviation force.

Senior Airman

• They are as many Senior Airmen in the aviation force as needed like the army. They are to follow orders of those above them and command those below them when needed.
  

Airman

• Lowest rank of the Aviation Force. They must follow orders of all those above them.
  

*Note: Only Shika Youkai's can participate in the Army. They don't have the ability to join the Aviation Force which requires the ability to perform aerial maneuvers of the highest degree. Because of their pacts with dream sprites, Shika's with even the best abilities of air, aren't even good enough for the Aviation Force.

**Also, the Commanding General and the Marshal of the Aviation Force must answer to Queen Na'ame in military decisions.
