Personality: He's kind and gentle, and will take in nearly any creature in need of assistance. This personality has gotten him into tricky places in terms of him being taken advantage of, but because of his prowess with the Spirit element, he can handle himself if need be. However, he's a pacifist at heart.
History: He was chosen by Suzaku to fight for the first crownship in Heaven on behalf of his sister, Hanajima Osaka, who had not yet been born. he defeated all four other opponents, actually winning the Kingship and maintaining peace for his years as a King, as the Tane-ou, or the Kind King.
Afterwards, he became an Elder, and has remained so ever since. He grew close to Miyazawa Chiyo and was devastated by her death. Because of his participation in the Deus project before Nayanae (a King of the first layer of Heaven) died, he was used by Mikage Tsubasa after her own resurrection to restart the project again, but in a very perverse manner. It was through this manner that Satori brought Chiyo back to life, but the old King only sought her children, and then seemed to disappear from the earth.
After a small, unrequited love affair with the Yume-ou, Hishikawa Tohru, Chiyo's successor, he's still in Heaven, trying to support Heaven anyway he can.
Strengths: gentle, kind, forgiving, understanding, sympathetic, empathetic.
Weaknesses: allowing himself to be taken advantage of
Most honorable deed: taking on the task of ruling the first layer of Heaven before his little sister, Osaka, was born. Other than that, he's rather gentle and nice in the first place, and being the "good guy" is rather a reoccurring trait.
Most dishonorable deed is, believe it or not, his feeble attempts to garnish the affection of the ex-Ha-ou, Hishikawa Tohru. Despite being married to Tsubarisu Hotaka, he spoke to her with the intention of gaining favor in her eyes and perhaps an intimate companion.
Likes: Really, unless you've killed someone, he doesn't dislike you.
Dislikes: Those who take advantage of those in need. He does not include himself in this figure of people.
