[For all characters that had participated in the "New to the World" post; I would like to continue that, if possible.]
After the initial shock of her landing in the Mortal Realm, she was not on level ground with Czar, with the strangers that had introduced themselves to her on the roof; the Dragon that had called himself Draco had calmed her with his magic, and it was that small exchange that made her realize exactly how weak she was. She needed training.
Despite having come down from the roof, the small group was still standing on the street, Humans walking quickly by and without concern, bumping and brushing against her.
Frowning at the inconsiderate Humans, Korah asked, "Is there a place here to seek out shelter and solitude?" She needed more than anything to have the Mortal Realm explained to her, because she felt as though she didn't understand things here at all...

Hatulan noticed how uncomfortable the girl became as the ignorant humans carelessly invaded her space as they passed by. "Hey," he said aloud to the next one who did, a young male wearing his pants low around his hips, revealing the color and brand of his underwear, the brim of his hat cocked to one side. "Watch where you're going," he cautioned, moving to provide more shelter for the girl. He left the decision of where to go to Draco, deferring to his master.

Draco bowed his head, his form altered to the eyes of those not of Draconic origin, appearing as a simple old man who's weight was supported by his walking stick. In an instant the group was surrounded by fluorescent particles that shimmered in the pale moonlight, swirling around them until their surroundings began to blur with those of a rooftop. Soon the landscape clear and the troupe of dragons were indeed atop a roof, overlooking the city as Draco's magic had carried them like leaves in a breeze to a more clandestine location.
"Your awkwardness beams off of you young one, and you have a look about you that says you have never ventured far from home. Your home is my home, his home, and the home of our creator, the Umbra basks so strongly off of your, your thoughts permeate the air." Draco said as he looked into the eyes of the young woman. She was escorted by a familiar looking creature, a being of power and nobility, as old to her as he was young to Draco. "Let go our your fears child, you cling to that which lies in your pocket, home for our kind is never far away, we carry it with us wherever we go. We are the very essence of the Umbra, from its endless meadows of grass, and its mile high water falls."
"It endless skies are above you head, as are its bottomless oceans lie beneath your feet..." Draco said as he projected a facsimile environment of the mythical Draconian realm, the Umbra that seemed so realm had that one could almost feel the warm glow of the 3 suns, and cool luminance of 8 moons on their faces, and the breeze that caused infinite blades of grass to waft in its glory. He did this to calm the group, especially the new Korah, hoping to help her find her way in this new land.

Korah watched as the Dragon introduced as Hatulan began to take a more aggressive approach to those walking on the street. Both he and the Dragon who felt like her homeland (Draco) had moved to provide a sort of shelter around her. She couldn't believe that there was a world where everything was so busy at once. How could all of these people stand moving in such a crowded space with each other at the same time? In the Umbra, there was nothing but space, and everyone was allowed to have their own territory. If the Umbra had been as crowded as this place, how could they breathe?
But Korah blinked, and she could see magic swirling around them. She reached out toe touch it, and before she knew it, she felt the breeze of a calm night upon her and she saw that the trio was now a roof with a few that offered the expanse of the horizon of this world. Without all of the noise and the being walking around, it did seem that the portion of the Realm she was seeing at the moment resembled the Umbra. The sky spread out in all directions, and she could see that were stars in the sky, although they were not aligned in any pattern that she recognized from home.
Draco began to speak, his voice deep and ominous, full of wisdom and experience. He told her not to be afraid, to keep her memories of the Umbra with her. He projected an image of the Umbra to her, and she reached out to it--it looked so real. She could see the suns, feel the warmth...
But as elated as it made her, she knew that it wasn't real, and homesickness began to plague her heart as she realized how much she missed home. "I won't...I won't forget."

As close as he would have come to being please with the sentiment of the Dragon Korah's feelings, Draco continued to project the image of the Umbra, maintaining the peace and small sense of solace of their conversation. "Tell me young one, what is it that causes you to venture so far from a home you refuse to let go, what has brought you to this place." Draco asked in a voice that seemed to not fall from his lips, but a voice that boomed but did not yell, that was not heard by the ears, but felt all over the body, his tone and inflection almost godlike, as if a deity were to speak to a mere mortal, its voice filling them completely, inescapable but not forced upon the listener.
Draco assumed her quest in some ways would be synonymous with his own, he was searching for something that did not know it could be found, the object more person than artifact, unaware of its true potential and the the gravity of the destiny it had yet to embark upon. She did not give Draco the sense of being totally independent, she felt to him like she was in this foreign place at the behest of someone else, something Draco could attest to as well, and he waited for he response with quiet awe.

Hatulan was at first resentful of Draco's more passive method of removing them from the path of the other pedestrians. To his mind, it did nothing to improve the situation for the Mortals below, for they would continue to jostle, push and shove with others of their kind, oblivious.
However, he could not quite bring himself to openly criticize Draco's actions, as the older, wiser Dragon had prioritized the newcomer. In addition, he was distracted by the simple, verbal description of the Umbra as his mentor projected it into his mind; the younger Dragon had momentarily reveled in the scene.
He shook his head to free his mind of the imagery and wordlessly awaited the female's response to Draco's query.

Korah continued to be comforted by the projected images of her homeland, and the older, wiser Dragon softly probed her for answers to questions that related to her mission. Honestly, Korah wasn't sure whether or it would be right to tell him. What if he was working for Tiamat? Although his magic made her feel comforted, she couldn't help being wary about her mission.
"I'm looking for someone important to my family," she said, and she was going to leave it at that. Draco seemed like a nice dragon, he really did, but she didn't want to end up failing everyone who had put faith in her. Her parents, her tribe, she had to find them. "...the Umbra...feels like it's been waning, and...some people there need help," she added. "I have to tell as many Dragons as possible to help if they can."
She wanted to be brave, and so after another short pause, she asked, "I...I need to get to know how this Realm works. Things are so different here. Can either of you teach me? Is there anywhere safe that I can go now? How do I survive here? I'll need shelter and food. What should I eat? What can I eat? I know that Czar can tell me, but he has not been here as recently as the both of you. Please, share with me what you can."

"This realm teems with a vast multitude of creatures, some small and humble, others as large as they are arrogant and wasteful, and often times one might find themselves confused at just which is which. But you need not worry yourself over such trifles child, you and your guardian are more than capable nof taking care of yourself in regards to your safety at the moment. If this person yoyu seek is of great impportance to you, you must ask yourself what it is they hold of value that makes them so pivitol and start your search there. These mortals, can be difficult to deal with at times, but one must remember they are so different than we are in a sense that their time spent on this plane of existence is so very brief, in the time it would take for them to have insulted us, they could have lamented this transgression, sought to apologize, propagated and passed on, with all but a moment having seemed to have passed.
"Remain humble, even in this face of bravado, as long as the threat of violence is not present, nobility is attracted to itself, and surely, by the breaths of the All Father Dai-gon, you shall find what you seek young Korah." Draco said, the images he provided of the Umbra slowly fading as the world around them came into view, the hustle and bustle of its denizens now in the background of their conversation. "You may eat what you find edible, but allow only what is beneficial to sustain you. Rest in places that are hospitable, but realize that your home is what you seek to preserve. And above all, stay true to yourself, and other of your kind will always be there to lend you aid, for we are all the same, different flames of the same fire." Draco said to Korah in his usual cryptic styling, looking over to Hatulan, if his facial features allowed him to, a smile of benevolence would be ever present on his face.

Korah listened well to the older Dragon's advice. He had proven himself to be very kind. He seemed to care very deeply about her although they had never met before, and held a faith in both the Umbra itself and Dia-Gon that many Dragons in their homeland were now lacking. Korah had to admit, even to herself, that it was difficult to believe that there was any sort of savior on the way, with the Dark Queen Tiamat on the loose, reigning over the previously ruler-less land. There were places full of joy in the Umbra, but also many places of sorrow.
When Draco spoke of searching, to look for the location of the value that the person holds, Korah was honestly confused. He was indeed the power that they were looking for--the power of love and devotion and a pillar of strength and justice; everything that Dia-Gon was said to have been. But he was not Dia-Gon himself, Korah had been told, and so she was left back at square one. Love, devotion, strength, justice? These things were in the individual, not the whole. Any number of beings in this Realm could house those qualities. No matter her train of thought, she couldn't figure it out. Maybe she was over thinking things?
She wished that there was someone else that she could trust with the information of her mission to help her. She hated all of the secrecy, the riddles. She wanted so desperately to to set things right, so that the Umbra would return back to the pleasant place that her mother had once described it to be--the place that her father had passed trying to protect.
"Thank you for all of your help and advice," she said, curtsying to both Draco and Hatulan. "I suppose now we go our separate ways. I hope that we meet again. May we all be protected by Dia-Gon's essence."
