Personality: Kim is the guy no one expects anything from, and for good reason. He's lazy and spends more time listening to music, playing music and writing then he does anything else. He doesn't do anything he can get someone else to do and he doesn't care what anybody thinks of it. His peers think his naturally egotistical attitude is either cool or standoffish and a good few ladies find it interesting, though not always for very long. He feels best when left alone to do as he wishes, and when bothered he simply brushes off the annoyance and turns up his headphones.
History: Kim was the result of the 3 percent the condom companies warn you about. His parents weren't ready for a kid and his father ended up dropping out of school to take on a second and eventually a third job to support his family. He wasn't raised with much to show for, when all the kids bragged about new toys he simply turned up the headphones on his outdated walkman.
His mother struggled though school as his father worked, leaving young Kim to work out his own feeding needs and whatever else a parental guardian would do other then provide a roof and discipline. His parents were harsh in his punishment to substitute the rest of child rearing, straight A's or an spanking. All good remarks or your grounded, that kinda deal. He learned to cheat and hustle lunch money for test answers pretty quick to get himself by.
Until high school he held your standard position of the loved but sadly neglected only child. Not that he resents it, his parents just had to feed him, thus his neglect was the result. When his mother got her associates in his junior year she brought a lovely little bundle into the household by the name of Markus James Jr., whom everyone love (yes even Kim). Naturally the life of the James household had advanced along well and Dad could spend time at home while he started making up the education he'd sacrificed, and mom took on the role of provider.
Kim looked over his little brother proudly as he managed his own job and high school career. He graduated with decent grades and went off to college across the country, leaving his family to wave him off at the airport. Kim missed them the moment he left, but all he could really do was suck it up and turn up his headphones on his ipod(which he'd bought himself).
Kim is now a sophomore majoring in forensic psychology and still hustles his classmates with tutoring and thesis papers. His own grades are average, even though the people he helps are usually A students. He can't help but draw the disappointment of his professors(the few that ever care), and the annoyed looks of the students who can't match his test scores while he listens to his music instead of the lectures.
