A few notes:

First-Third, alright a correction on time: the Celestial Realm is actually 12 hours as compared with the 24 hours of the Human Realm. Therefore thereotically, the day and night can be 6 hours each. Likewise, the day can be divided into every 4 hours (fourths). Also, I believe (I will be corrected if this is not correct), the Celestial realm has uniform time. So if it is like 8am in Heaven it will be that same time in Hell. I'll check to see if this is correct.

Fourth, I don’t expect this fic to be too long and since it’s original fiction, it’s all me, and I not yet so confident, arrogant or ambitions to write a long story. But, I’ve had quite some things happen to me this past semester, and I am dealing with them. So I’m not yet sure if that will effect my ability to write (for better or worst), but I will try.

Fifth, all conversations between two or more people or just out loud in general is of course in it’s custom in double quotes. While in conversation if some is retelling exactly what someone else has said that will be in single quotes. Thinking to one’s self will be in italics if it is for the reader’s direct knowledge. However feelings will be incorporated into the regular text. It shouldn’t be too hard to point out.

Sixth, I won’t have a prologue or perhaps not an epilogue for that matter either. The story will be split up into parts (part 1, 2, etc.); however, each part may or may not have a title. I’m leaning against it.

Seventh, I realize that the story seems to be beginning in res media (in the middle of things) but there’s a reason for that, simply because this story is based (of course!) off of the Kiseki Universe and previous occurrences. The best way to catch up for this is to read other stuff on Setsuna’s layer as well as reading attributes and characterization for various species including specifically angels (all types), demons, humans (not too hard to figure out XD), and elves. Otherwise it shouldn’t matter too much. I also realize a lot of previous occurrences haven’t all been documented, so these will be explained as well as possible. But it won’t hinder the story in any way.

Eighth, (I know these are long, but I feel obligated) now on to who people are this will be a brief overview as all of this information is available in more detail under character profiles on Kiseki.
Bahlar: human, Setsuna previous second in command, handled a lot of Setsuna’s extra work load. Has three children and wife Helene. Moved to England to live a relatively normal life.
Bahlak: human, Bahlar’s older twin brother. In the present story, Setsuna’s head of the military. Has two children, wife Anabell an elf and personal friend to Setsuna.
Setsuna: angel-Elohim, age unknown, King of the 4th of Heaven
Kirara: angel-Cherubim, Setsuna’s daughter, age early teens, takes classes etc., training to enter Tanaka’s Acedemy for the art of self defense and weapon training
Ami: angel-Elohim, Setsuna’s assistant, very meticulous, Setsuna’s closest friend
Xanthus: angel—of the 8th order, Master Healer in the Art of Medicine, Setsuna’s “friend” (there’s not other way to describe their relationship, it is a special one in every sense of the word).

There are others but I’m tired now, so on with this. I’ll put notes at the end of sections or breaks if it is necessary…

Oh and because I'm not really RPG writing style savy, I will be writing this in regular form with the narrator and characters speaking directly to each other in quotes.

Symphony of the Twins Part One

Thursday September 2

BAHLAR and Bahlak had both lived and worked on the Fourth Layer of Heaven for quite some time. In fact, it had been some hundreds of years since they left the Human Realm to venture to the Celestial. They both were best friends of Setsuna during her time in Egypt on Earth, before her return to Heaven. They pledged their allegiance to her then, those many hundreds of years ago. This allegiance still remains strong, even today.

Bahlar had already left with his wife Helene and their children bound for the human realm. Their reason for leaving the eternal comforts of Heaven was simple, laced of course with complexities. They decided that due to the fact that their children were indeed human, they should live and thrive amongst humans, and besides, humans were not allowed to take up permanent residence in Heaven; essentially, their time had come. The decision was no offence to Setsuna and the kindness and consideration she’d given to the pair and their children, but now was the time for them to move into another stage in their lives. Setsuna completely understood, blessing them as they went, she let them go. Bahlar was demoted to head intelligence gather in-field Europe from Second Commander of State for Setsuna.

Bahlak his twin, had a bit of a different opinion in his assessment of places to live. He lived with his own wife, an elf (with permanent residence in Heaven), and their children on the 4th layer of Heaven. He was head of the military and saw no real reason to leave the light and longevity of Heaven. He was a measured and hardened man against the wiles and ways of the world. In his previous life, the one on Earth, he was a warrior for the Egyptian Empire, while his brother was a scholar and scribe. He loved the thrill of war and the sense of strength he received from protecting Egypt’s vast and beautiful boarders. He was brash and decision and unusually romantic towards his wife, for a man of true war. He bore the scars of battles long fought and won.

One particular night, the brothers met in secret in the back alleys of Paris, discussing gathered intelligence on a National Security threat to Setsuna’s domain.

On the cold and dark night, the wind blew fleetingly against the rickety doors of the ‘glass mug pub’. Bahlar sat in a darkened corner wrapped in a dark jacket and hat. A draft beer mug sat on the table in front of him, he nursed it with his right hand before drinking. He was nervous, of course, who wouldn’t be with the information he needed to divulge to his brother. He sighed running a hand through his dark hair. Tonight was a not a good night; it was dangerous to be about. The fine hairs on the back of his neck and arms, prickled and stood on end, supercharged with the electricity of danger and fear.

Bahlak wondered over to Bahlar’s table in the back, he carried a drink with him. He sat it lightly down upon the table before sitting himself. He leaned over and clasped arms with his brother. It has been a while since the two spent anytime together, with the pair living on entirely different realms, visitation was become increasingly taxing, if not downright impossible.

“Thanks for coming,” Bahlar said in hushed tones. His eyes darted about the parlor making sure they were unheard.

“Not at all, bro. You called, I’m here.” He took a swallow of his drink, “Now, tell me of this intelligence you’ve gathered,” his voice dropped audibly above a whisper.

So, I had completely forgotten about this story. And I will finish it, I dislike leaving things undone. However, the story won't be finished for a while.

I have some other things to get out of the way, then I can fully come back to all the stories on this site I need to finish up; tying up loose ends and whatnot.

For now, until I can get back here, and find this story...
