Personality: Carefree and outgoing, R'pan loves to smile and meet new people. Not very brave or outspoken, yet has an eye for poignant comments. His moods and tastes can change with the tides, and he has a certain amount of vanity to him, endearing at times, but quite often is seen as superficial, despite being so well read.
History: Born in the largest ocean in all of the Ryukai, R'pan is the only child sired and seeded from Ceoan and Aes, loyal followers of Tiamat, the unchallenged queen of the Ryukai. From a young age R'pan was groomed to succeed his family's role as the Oceanus Flux Imperium, a group of dragons dedicated to Tiamat, and upholding and preserving the sanctity of the Ryukai. Fostered by many different teachers and tutors, R'pan's youth was a prodigious one, excelling in art and magic, making him some what arrogant and vain in his view and approach to meeting people. This proved itself when the shamanistic Elder Dragon, Draco Senex Prime, and his at the time ward, Ilreg Douisis Of'ful came to visit at his families estate. R'pan was taken aback by the pristine features of the young Ilreg, despite his shabby dress, R'pan sought to make conversation with the distant child, inevitably remarking on his poor dress in jest. The altercation turned violent as Ilreg attacked and humiliated R'pan in front the other children, broken up before it grew worse by Draco. For the remainder of their stay, R'pan tried to apologies, but at best was met with lukewarm reception to his attempts.
After, his thoughts remained on the Dragon thereafter, smitten by his looks, but deterred from explaining them given Ilreg's volatile nature. This would lead to his repressed feelings towards him developing further as he aged, and the drive for R'pan to choose a mate and sire a child was heavily being pushed by his mother and father. Having grown to an appropriate age for lone travel, R'pan took a Renaissance tour of the other realms, returning eagerly to the Ryukai to share his travels with his friends and family, only to be sent to the Great Library to learn the information needed to succeed his father as head of the Imperium. While studying, his mind would wander, as his boredom at the tedium of pointless study caused him to further delve into the world of fantasy, he would go on to develop lofty ideas and notions of love and travel, making his repressed feeling for Ilreg grow deeper.
In a moment of cessation from his studies, R'pan chanced upon meeting a beautiful female Dragon, Sesha, in the Great Library, and in agreement after a shaky introduction, he set out to travel with her on her quest to find information about her parentage. Smitten by her striking features, and personality reminiscent of his secret affections for another so similar, he abandoned his studies to first venture off to the Joukai, where after a surprise reunion with Ilreg, he would go onto lose Sesha to Ilreg after a harsh exchange of words and glances, R'pan meekly leaving in both embarrassment and heartache. Now he ponders on returning home, seeking the world to gain the courage to address all the things he has chosen to accept without reluctance or run away from, his reunion with Ilreg having a profound affect on his view of himself.
Strengths: Ability to manipulate and sense all forms of water, exercising a great degree of control, the point where he himself can become like water. Has a great eye for detail, and
Weaknesses: Control of water can be affected to due to state of water, more so with steam and fluid, less with Ice, over which he had a minimal amount of control due to Draconic Elemental system, Water form is greatly affected by outside manipulation at times. Ineffectual in areas devoid of water, whereupon he must conjure water from nothingness, can prove to be a very taxing task. Pollute bodies of Water can prove to be bothersome, but this is due to his own personal flaws.
Most honorable deed: Creating a clean private pond for a Merman and Mermaid to have as there own, private cove of love.
Most dishonorable deed: Allowing for his father to accept the notion the he would one day procreate, while he has no aims to sire a child. His cowardice or inability to see and accept the ugliness in his own actions weighs heavily on his conscious at times.
