Josiah had practically run out of the building that morning. He wanted to be anywhere, anywhere that he couldn't be found. He headed to the extremities of the campus, finding a small forested area there. An aged pavilion was there, of stone and wood, like an old campsite that no one really used but must have been part of the college's history.
Part of him - heck, most of him - was wishing that none of that had happened, that it was all some bad dream that would just go away. That he could go back to his normal life of bookreading and friends who pushed him to do things, but always remained comfortably secure in his own little world. Unworried. Undisturbed. Peaceful in his own solitude.
He had been up enough of the night to know, that that wasn't the case. But the rest of him was fighting to be heard, the logical part that said he was reading far too much into all of this and he should just forget it. Magic wasn't real, and a few dreams and getting your heart's desire wasn't enough proof to change a lifetime of practical expertise.
When that part started winning inside, he calmed down a bit, and after running so far away and away from so many eyes, decided to sit down, almost sprawled out, under the pavilion. The concrete ground was cold and rocky, and there were bumps in it where plantlife had tried - with some success - to break through it. He liked the cold though. Trailing his hands along the stone ground was oddly relaxing, though he was still glad that he preferred jeans over shorts.
...
Except ... the dreams weren't fading away now that he was awake. And slightly more worrisome, they seemed to be getting clearer, and he was remembering more of them...

This was a lovely campus. One of the best that she had seen. She had seen and smelled at least ten different types of trees so far, and there were flowers spread across lush hillsides and very neatly paved walking paths. Maybe it was because of her fondness of the landscapes as of lately, but she felt very much at home here. More than at home. She felt like...almost like she was with her father. She hadn't seen Tomo for a little while now, having left after her baby brother was born, and she'd decided after that scare with Tai that she needed a vacation. There was something else telling her, deep inside, and she might as well see the world while she could, but she refused to acknowledge it. For now, the previous logic would have to do.
In her travels she had focused on educational facilities, and she liked touring them. Students were typically nice these days in the Mortal Realm, as opposed to when she was a young child. Her mother never let her play with the other children, and the pack of "werewolves" that she had traveled with at the time feared and respected her. Over the years she had made it her duty to emphasize genuine relationships with people, and it was because of this that she gravitated towards schools. Something about groups, finding people who had similar interests and getting along with them, forging forward in gaining educational ground--it was exhilarating to her.
There was a sudden rush of students on the campus, and she knew that they were scurrying off to class. Swept in the crowd, she had nothing to do, and so she decided to swim with the current and see where she ended up.
Most of them are probably late, for whatever class... she thought with a giggle.

Tugging on her coat and pulling her wings in as she walked through the wooded areas in a quiet stroll, the cool air was leaving Guin feeling like she should have flown a little further south. She had to come though, the concert she was in last night paid too well, and it would seem that she may be able to find other opportunities like it in this region.
Nevertheless, through the small crowd of maybe 200 that crammed that bar last night, Guin still felt lonely. She needed to talk to a form for a while, just to feel warmer, if anything.
As Guinivere continued to walk, she noticed a figure shuffle on a score of Yards ahead of her. Stopping to make sure her scarf was on tight, and her wings invisible, she slowly picked up and made her way toward the ghost of what she saw.

[pardon my intrusion]
Lihat wandered on the campus in the efforts to get in touch with one of his more touchy contacts. He had many people under his wing, some of course who didn't like the fact that a high school kid had tabs on them. The Dean of this beautiful school just so happened to be one of those few unwilling participants in Lihat's world. recently things hadn't been going the way Lihat saw them in his ideals, let alone his eyes, so here he was taking a day off and flying over to see a friend. He made his way through campus and into the Dean's office in good time and pulled the balding man from a meeting so Lihat could speak with him.
Lihat liked this little school, the only problem was that it was bright and had no night classes. Lihat was intent on attending, more for the fact that he could slide under the radar here then for the education. Lihat wasn't a known hand in the world, even if he was felt every so often. As the Dean walked into his office and noticed the lean cloaked figure he shivered before taking his seat, and of course Lihat knew it would happen, he was focused on this mans future at the moment. Though, the panic at seeing Lihat made the man's choices scatter about and clouded up Lihat's vision.
A half hour passed and Lihat convinced the Dean to start hiring teachers to work a night shift mostly for his sake well before he arrived at the school. This way no one would suspect him, as long as he went there for convenience, and not make it obvious he forced the plan. And now that he was done with the Dean he released his focus to observe the things pertinent enough in the world around him to attract ghis attention. It was Lihat's form of people watching, to mindlessly look into the future, and at the moment the random student darting into the forest was to be an interesting thing. So Lihat decided to make his way to the outskirts of the campus in order to meet the fellow as he rushed out.
Lihat sat quietly and still as a statue some fifteen yards from the pavilion he knew the man to be headed. It would be about twenty minutes or so before he was to be there but Lihat found it interesting, the strange look on the strangers face... it was curious. Lihat also felt a bit of wavering in his sight, leading him to believe he would be meeting something nonhuman if he met this guy. Lihat waited... and wondered, and as he reflected on the memory to come he realized the guy looked a bit troubled. Lihat felt he could use that, This guy could come in handy, maybe I should take him in...
"Hello there, took you long enough to get here," Lihat said, calmly and just loud enough for the guy on the pavillion to hear. He caught the memory of a second individual appearing within the next few minutes. Something about her was shaded, but that could have just meant she couldn't make up her mind. Then, a strange wave of murky memories passed across his mind, like watching an old box t.v. with no antenna. Lihat was very intrigued, and it wasn't bad, but very interesting to him. Once again, Lihat placed himself in a curious little meeting.

His attention snapped back to the world as he looked up with a start, when he heard someone's voice, and all the wanderings of his mind and memories disappeared in a flash of shadows. Josiah bolted upright where he sat, head and eyes darting every which way to pinpoint the originator of the voice.
"Hello there. Took you long enough to get here," the other figure said. Josiah's eyes narrowed on him suspiciously, then his expression relaxed as he stood up, brushing off his clothes and straightening his shirt self-consciously. His eyes fell down to the ground at the feet of the other, trying to avoid his eyes now.
"I didn't see you there," he murmured, softly. A dozen other phrases ran through his head at the moment, but he only said that. His breathing was imperceptibly getting faster. Why was he nervous? He shouldn't be nervous about a person like this. There was no reason to be ... only ... He unconsciously made a face of inquisitive analysis as the greeter's expression played through his mind again.
He looked up at the figure, and now a little more confidently - in a very relative sense of confidence, for him - asked, "What do you mean, took me long enough? Were you watching me?"
He wasn't sure how to take that, but it came out a little bit indignant anyway. Josiah was in a vulnerable situation mentally, and expecting the worst, he didn't need anyone making fun of him right now.

Cielle had allowed herself to be carried to the building where most of the students were headed. However, once she got to the destination--which did indeed look as though it was a lecture hall of some sort. However, once everyone was in, it appeared as though the campus was empty. Not good, necessarily; she didn't like being alone--didn't want to be alone. Not right now.
She turned, and took a deep breath, and then she coughed. Pine. She wasn't expecting to smell any of that here. The pungent smell of the flowers had masked it; being kicked up by the kids--whoops, students--as they went along their way.
I feel old already...referring to the as kids... But she shook those thoughts from her mind, making her way to the forested area. She already knew that the idea that she had in mind wasn't safe or cautious at all, but she had nothing to lose. She could feel the pull of nature on her. She could feel it. The trees were calling to her with their thick, muffled voices. The grass seemed to embrace her feet as she tread toward the area her nose was leading her to, and it took a lot of effort to restrain herself from changing to her native form on the spot. Her senses became overwhelmed the closer she came to the small cluster of trees, and while it wasn't a full partition of forest it would serve her more than well. One step in, and she felt ab--
another scent. Two of them. How could she have missed that? She sniffed again. Humans? She listened, filtering the sounds: rodents, leaves, dirt, voices. No steps, though. Whoever was in there wasn't planning on leaving soon. She began to become irritated. She had no right to be, but the call of the wild had reached out to her, and to have it snatched just as quickly would leave any animal in less-than-stellar condition. She glanced around. She was at the edge of the cluster, and she saw no one about. It would be safe, right? Even with the two humans in the forest she could up and gone before the authorities expressed serious concern. As she'd thought earlier, she had nothing to lose. Maybe she would let herself get caught. It would more interesting than anything she'd done in the last few days.
The change took hold of her before she could think her decision, and within a few seconds--thanks to the aid of her magic--she settled into her marked black with white coat, padding around on newly formed paws and sniffing with a keener nose, seeing with better eyes. She glanced around again to make sure that no one was about before entering the forest completely. She didn't see anyone, and she entered quickly, before she could be spotted.

Augustus returned to the Mortal Realm after realizing he had forgotten some things at the apartment he was staying at. After acquiring a few photos and memento's, he also forgotten to give his roommate his key. By the time he remembered he was already at a coffee shop trying to get some coffee near the campus his roommate went to. He figured he could just go to the classroom where he had helped him carrying some stuff for a project. He looked at the time on a wall clock, "I believe its almost time for class to start if I remember correctly."
Returning the key caused his now former roommate to question his presence on campus. But after awkward moment was over, he found himself in a sea of people while trying to leave the classroom. He had to wait until after the bombardment of people entering the room for him to leave finally. He started for the exit when he noticed a woman leaving the building. Something was different about her, he could feel it but didn't know what it was. Strangely enough, he found himself following her across the campus ground towards the wooded region. He had to stop him self from stalking her. He put his hand to the side of his head and stared toward the ground. "What am I doing? I have to get back home for my training. I don't have time for this."
Still he looked up and realized she had disappeared, perhaps within the forest. There was something tugging him to go into the woods. He brushed the bangs of his dark short hair that he had for his mortal look out of his face in an attempt to buy himself time to talk himself from going into the forested area. Failed. He looked again towards the line of trees and again he was walking towards them to follow the woman.

Lihat watched the young man before him with hidden interest without a motion at all. Lihat sat completely still covered in his usual dark hoody with his hood up, his eyes shaded by sunglasses and his mouth covered in a scarf. He had to do such things after all, as he was hated by the loving sun. He realized the apprehension in the person before him and wondered what he had to fear, Lihat was only a high school kid after all. Lihat paused a moment to realized his dark clothing ,may be alarming to some. The young blind boy found himself feeling rather curious, but the looming shadow around them seemed to tell that he'd be interrupted soon. Lihat chuckled lightly deciding to play with his prey.
"Watching you? No child, more like waiting for you. I was here before you left the building, you simply took too long to arrive. Next time don't kid your new friends waiting." Lihat cooed, his accent obvious and curious. No one would guess it's origin without training, and few would see it as anything but curious and odd.
Lihat stood up, then remained completely still without motion. Lihat was strangely skilled with holding a pose, which probably made him all the more frightening in these encounters. It did help that Lihat knew what would be happening next, or at least he knew what could happen next. Lihat was focused on one person as well, and that made this interaction a simple one, one that Lihat could control.

"Watching you? No child, more like waiting for you. I was here before you left the building, you simply took too long to arrive. Next time don't kid your new friends waiting."
His tone ... his accent? Something about it, just seemed odd. Out of place. Like the way he called him a child, it seemed like he was ... ancient, under those clothes. Thoughts bounced around in his mind like a rubber ball being chased about by a dog on drugs. A shotgun blast went off in his head and there was calm again.
Clarity, as he took a breath, closing his eyes as he inhaled and opening them as he exhaled. His voice came out softer now, gentler. "I'm sorry but, I don't actually remember you ... have we met before?"
A moment, then a thought twinged. His center of gravity shifted as his left foot trailed back a step. "Wait, hang on. I didn't even come here on purpose. What do you mean you were waiting for me? If you weren't watching me, and I didn't come here on purpose, you have no reason to be expecting me. I don't understand. Who are you? What are you talking about?"
Robotic. That's what it was. His body was practically motionless. Every living thing moved, had to move. This person, cloaked by all those clothes in a way that it was hard to tell if he was even breathing, just seemed ... robotic. Not alive. That's why he was so nervous. Whoever it was he was dealing with, wasn't normal.
And that was neither as comforting nor as terrifying as it might have been, in the present circumstances

Walking out of the wooded area, Gunivere noticed the clearing giving way to a large building, ranging in diferent shapes and architectures all around. "A school?" she wondered. "Hmm.." Noticing a few young men talking as she took slow steps toward the campus, she smiled a little. 'Surely there will be friendly people in there.' Guinivere thought.
As she began to hasten her pace the call of a man stopped her. A dark skinned male in a blue uniform approached her. Campus Security. With an Ugly mug, he rode up to her in a small buggy. "You can't loiter our here, Ma'am."
"No No!" Guin said quickly. "I'm not loitering! "
"Then what are YOU doing out here??"
'What do I say??' Guin thought in panic.

After spending some time walking amongst the trees, Augustus started to feel stupid for even trying to pursuit the lady. He looked around and realized that trail he was following was hard to see which made it difficult to find the trail again. He pressed on until the trail started to become clear again and came across a fork. He didn't remember ever coming across it before but he didn't worry too much about it, it was only a small patch a forest. If he didn't get back to the campus he figured he would eventually end up coming across some sort of road or building.
After picking a trail to follow from the fork, he continued walking until he heard voices. He felt a little glad and quicken his space from an apprehensive one to a confident one. A pavilion came into view and then the two guys were also seen from his position. The situation seemed normal at first glance but he realized that something was weird. He could see that one of the boys seemed either worried or scared. He stopped to watch from the entrance to the wooded area to see if the guy would need help.

Lihat found himself wondering why the boy was so immediately set off, he was a very curious one. He was not very meek looking, so why was he so quick to be frightened. Lihat figured he was simply weak willed or timid, nothing unusual. Lihat found it relieving that his stint n the stage hadn't gone to waste. He'd have to thank Kana for her meddling later.
"I can expect most anything boy. That is a particularly useful part of my great talent. You simply were going to arrive here, and I knew that. I know where you'd go if you ran and I know what you'll do when you don't. Which choice you take is all I don't know."
Lihat felt the murky shadow of a second set of choices through his known future. Lihat searched through the confusion to set his eyes on the source. He was sure he could observe two futures with his ability, but he wasn't one to test how many more would not him out. He realized there was a visitor watching, and that the options present were not all that great. One potential outcome would end with Lihat in a very bad state. Lihat quickly attempted to figure what would cause the worst of options, he didn't feel like being beaten today.
"You should calm down a bit boy, we have an observer, and I'd rather avoid any violent discussions. My name is Lihat, a pleasure to meet you."

He didn't know why, but his frustration was mounting. Maybe it was cause of the lies. Maybe it was because of the way he referred to him. Maybe it was just that purely confident tone of his that was rubbing him the wrong way with every sentence of his mind games. His fist balled up as he looked away.
"You should calm down a bit boy, we have an observer, and I'd rather avoid any violent discussions. My name is Lihat, a pleasure to meet you."
"Forgive me for saying this, but it's not my pleasure to meet you," he snapped, and his face froze in alarm. He couldn't believe the words had just come out of his mouth, but once they had, he couldn't stop up the flood that followed. "Do you have any idea what just happened to me last night? Do you have any idea what's going through my head right now? I am not in the mood for mind games and I am not in the mood to be patronized! So unless you actually have anything of value to say, I'll thank you kindly to not mess with me right now."
He turned and moved to walk away, clutching his hand in front of him and out of the other's sight to stop it from shaking as he felt a bead of sweat slide across the right side of his brow. His face was more sad than angry now that he was facing away from him, and he was eager to leave.

Lihat hadn't expected this route, if he'd judged the outcome based on previous action the guy would have bolted. People are always bound to make the most unpredictable decisions. Lihat knew he could chase the young man if he were to run, but he could talk him out of running. At least he could try to verbally restrain him. If anything, he should make him some kind of offer.
"No, you're right. I don't mean to patronize however. I know nothing of you're past, whether it be yesterday or any other day before this one. I know only the now and the things to be. Though, I can only be of use to you if you talk to me," Lihat said, speaking less cryptically then before. He wanted to see this persons future, and he could only do that if he could get used to his personality. He might even be graced with a more extensive vision. Lihat was a lot like a recreational fortune teller, he liked to know what was to come.
"If you stay and tell me of what has passed I can help you with the things to come. That is the reason I came, to see and to aid," Lihat told his half truths flawlessly in that exotic speech of his. "I''m just your everyday fortune teller. I simply happen to be a bit more accurate. I would show you my face if it would help you trust my words but I cannot in the current state of things."
Lihat took the pause between his words to focus in on the actions of the one nearer the treeline who'd yet to step in. He wasn't very trusting and the person was more difficult to see. Not a human, nor close to it. I guess that one has a bit more power to him, just my luck Lihat disliked those he couldn't read easily, he'd rather they stopped coming to this world from wherever they were from.

Cielle's ears, quite a distance away, was able to pick up quite a momentous conversation, as well as the steps of another creature in the forest. Another person. Feet stepping--not paws--but it was a bit away from her, so she wasn't about to worry about it too much. More so what she could pick up from this conversation were two things: the presence of magic and emotions. Someone was upset, or bothered by something, although she couldn't discern the voices for anything aside from pitch. She wasn't going to attempt to, either. She didn't like eavesdropping on other people's conversations. However, being close enough to sense magic meant that one thing was for certain; she didn't necessarily have to hid herself, in wolf form or otherwise. She hadn't thought that she would find a magical being this far away from her usual living place, but then again, "Magic is everywhere," her father had told her once. And so it seemed to be true. One could never escape it.
She began to bound forward a bit quickly, but suddenly stopped, snapping a twig loudly in her haste. She cursed her clumsiness and indecision. While she was quickly being swept away in her "devil-may-care" attitude, she couldn't help but wonder if she would have a negative effect on the people that she was about to run into. Magic or not, maybe they haven't seen a youkai or not--especially since the two people were human as far as she could tell. And then there was the presence of the third being--not human at all, and if Cielle's father had never exposed her to it she never would have known that it was a Faerie, although her animal senses helped as well. What did the dreamfolk want here? Was he going to attack the humans here?
Making a split second decision, she padded out to the bushy area containing the two--now that she could see them and smell them more clearly--men. Her senses were waning, yes, but she wasn't completely useless. She was a a tad bit proficient in magic--she didn't think that she could hold off a Faerie, but perhaps she could drive it away if his intentions were less than noble. Turning to the two men, she barked to get their attention. Maybe they would notice that something was making its way towards them as well.

He had stopped walking away when the one named Lihat started talking again. He listened but didn't for a single moment turn around. His eyes drifted downward slowly, his head slowly following his eyes. He wanted someone to talk to. He had ran to get away, but right now, he didn't want to be trapped with his own mind.
Then the newcomer called himself a fortune teller. At that his head turned partially around and there was a swell of relief. He actually let loose a single syllable laugh as he almost smiled, a laugh almost like a cough.
"A fortune ... teller," he said the words again, and now he did want to laugh. He got so worked up over something so trivial.
Why did everything seem wrong right now?
Josiah ground the palm of one hand into his eye, as if that would help him understand things better. He had trusted Aryn. Said good things would come, from taking that one impossible risk. Now he felt a world of problems that didn't even feel like his own, memories that shouldn't have been his.
"I thought you meant," he started to say meekly, as if apologizing, then cut himself off. "It doesn't matter. I wouldn't even know where to begin."
Each piece of the puzzle seemed like one bigger can or worms after the other.
I'm gay.
Always have been, always will be. Didn't choose it, tried to fight it. Tried to be 'normal.' But there was no happiness in lying. There was no solace in hiding. Just more fear, just more shame. How do you even explain the daily worry of the wrong person finding out, an inexplicable pressure on your mind every second of the day.
I just made love.
Made love for the very first time. Made love to the most perfect incarnation of his desires. He was his dream guy, and last night was living a dream. But it was a dream that shouldn't have happened. A dream every part of him was saying was wrong, that something else had happened. That the greatest, most wonderful moment of his entire life, when he could finally let all his fears and guards down and just be, the first time he had ever truly felt special and cared for and ... loved ... was a lie, a mistake.
I'm ... remembering.
Remembering what, though? People. People he ... was? He thought they were just a dream at first. But these memories were so much stronger than any dream. The details were so much clearer now. That one guy, the medic ... he could remember medical information now that he'd never read all of a sudden. Like the medic's memories were now his own. There was just no explanation for it.
In some future, he might figure out the words to say. In some future, he might have been able to explain it in a way that the other could understand. He wished someone could understand. But from where he was now, he couldn't see it. It was too much risk. He tried taking a risk last night, and that's precisely why he was so messed up inside right now.
So he just repeated what he said before, as if that would be enough.
"It doesn't matter," he lied, and it was on obvious lie. Something barked and he changed his focus, abruptly taken out of his own mind by the canine that approached. He froze where he stood, and hist heartbeat started to accelerate at the sight of the creature, nervous fear at what the dog wanted.

Augustus watched the guys a bit longer and felt there was nothing to worry about. Especially since the guy he thought was either nervous or scared was laughing now. He felt that the their conversation had nothing to do with him and started to walk towards them to ask directions back to the campus. But there was a bark and then a wolf came into view. If the guys didn't feel nervous he certain did. He was frozen to the ground, everything seemed to have slowed and went dim. It was if someone put a dimmer on the sun even though there was no clouds in sight. In the back of his mind though, he felt something wasn't right or something was out of place. Still he stood watching the wolf now.

Lihat's worries faded as the person he was so interested in stopped and laughed. To think that all it took to keep him was to belittle himself and his abilities. Lihat couldn't help but shake his head, it was a bit demeaning to be considered a simple fortune teller. He, who had erected businesses and created the future he lived in, a fortune teller. As far as he could tell he was far from a palm reading fool at some circus. Though, he had to admit he did where the dark clothes and keep himself to the dark rooms and dreariness of a tarot reading con artist. Lihat noticed the extra being in this area had decided pretty firmly to leave.
Lihat ran ideas through his mind on what to do with the current conversation. He had to maintain this guy's interest and gain more knowledge about him. Then, the sudden bark brought him to shiver slightly in fear. Not because he wasn't afraid of the wolf he knew was there, but because he hadn't seen himself torn to shreds just yet. His eyes caught the potential futures of the the two who were present and realized all of them were revolving around the dangers of the wolf. Lihat forced his full attention on the beast and realized that none of it's possible futures involved feeding on young male flesh. Lihat maintain the focus he'd found on the canine, prying as hard as he could into the future it could decide. He figured it would be easy seeing as it was the only immediate future they all had, but it wasn't easy at all.
Lihat found that the canine had no purely animal outcomes, in fact one included a conversation with a strikingly charming female. Lihat allowed his mind to process the possibilities he'd seen, he wasn't to stressed after the moment of terror passed. If he was right to judge on past experience this thing was a youkai. The only creatures he'd ever run into with a future so damned hectic. The actions of animals were hard enough to ascertain, let alone the decision of one who constantly switched from man to beast. He took a deep breath and smiled, turning toward the creature that had startled him. He was now certain he was right, though he was risking to look like a fool.
"Dear lady, you startled us half to death, " he started confidently. "Would you mind putting our minds at ease and present yourself in a less frightening manor? After all, not all of us can fight off wolves by ourselves all alone in the woods."

Cielle growled at the man's voice, but didn't otherwise respond. The moment that he had spoken--the manner in which he had spoken--he was the one with the magic. She could feel the other young man becoming frightened, hear his heart beating more quickly in his chest. He had nothing to worry about; she was only there to try to protect them. He was hoping that the Faerie would introduce himself--at least, she thought the smell was a bit masculine--to alleviate the intrusion of his presence. He didn't belong here--this was not his home or his realm, and he had better state his business. It was his responsibility to establish that he was harmless, and considering Hell's relationship with Fae she wasn't about to take any chances.

Augustus heard a voice that sounded far away though the voice was coming from the guy that stood rigid in all black. He was far from where he was now and it was just him and the wolf. He started to wondered why it was focused on him and it made him more nervous especially since it started growling. Perhaps it was because he started to leave the area and was the only thing in sight that was moving.
He wanted to leave, he wanted to go home, somewhere comfortable. He would endure the most intense training than sit here in fear. He thought about attacking the wolf but there was those two guys there and he wouldn't be able to expose himself. He thought about contacting Adrian, his water sprite, perhaps he could help. Adrian wake up. Wake up, wake up, wake up. I don't know what to do. He hoped that he could wake up the sprite that was residing on his persons.
