As Cielle stood there and growled, expecting the Faerie to attack...it did...nothing. If anything, he looked afraid. Oh, for the love of...this was stupid, and it was going no where. Cielle's life wasn't waiting for this creature to finally grow a pair and say anything, and she was growing frustrated. Weighing the consequences in her mind and simply making a decision, she quickly changed to her human form, conjuring a bit of light mist to shield herself partially from view from the Human--apparently they as a race had very exaggerated views about the world of magic, and so she thought she'd give him a bit of a performance. She took the same form of the woman that she had used in London; it would serve her purpose well--and she was beginning to like it. "What is your business here in the land of men?" she asked, hoping that imploring the dream-creature would spur it to respond. She didn't look back a for even a moment, her hands beginning to glow with magic, ready for a fight.

As the made its sudden display of transformation into a lady, Augustus eyes bulged out and his mouth fell open. He started to think that since she was a youkai that he had nothing to fear though he wasn't sure if the human guys would feel the same way. But her demeanor wasn't very friendly like any other youkai he came across even the only youkai he met were shika youkai. Still he didn't know what she meant by him being in the "land of men" as she put it. Perhaps she confused him with someone else. "Um...I was just here dropping some stuff to a friend and-" "Our business here is none of your concern." Adrian suddenly appeared next to Augustus looking as a mortal would with his arms crossed, staring down the youkai. "Adrian, what are you doing? There are people here." "You asked for help didn't you?" "Yea but not to start a fight." Augustus started to feel as if the situation was starting to get out of control.

More magic entered the air as another being appeared out of nowhere. This really wasn't looking good at all; why have a sprite with you unless you were looking for a fight?
"It is of my concern if your intention is to disturb the Mortals at this school. They have done nothing to you." Cielle wasn't sure what to think. The faerie was stammering, not something that you expected from a hardened war-mongerer, but the sprite definitely possessed what the faerie lacked. Then she heard the nervous faerie say that he wasn't looking for help with starting a fight. Good. "I'm not looking for a fight, either. It just look suspicious, you lurking around these humans for no conceivable reason."

One thing after another, one thing after another. Lihat calling the dog out, the dog being not a dog, a glow of things that shouldn't be happening, people coming out of the woodwork, all talking impartially about the land of mortals as if they were something that was not.
Silence was his status quo. He didn't dare move, didn't dare speak, anything that would have attracted attention to himself. It was the delusions of one facing down a lethal predator, "Maybe it doesn't see me." His heart pounded in his chest, aching for him to do something, but his feet were glued to the ground.
He didn't need to ask it. The pieces were right there, and worked up or not, he was not an idiot. Putting pieces together was just what he did. Indeed, he already half knew the answer before he even asked the question. But the question came out abruptly, uncontrollaby, as everything in him was begging him to speak up and just say this one phrase. 'Everything' won over himself soon enough.
"Excuse me but," he interrupted softly, then he tried to take a calming breath, closing his eyes, but it wasn't enough. Nails dug into his hands in his fists. His voice rose several decibels higher as he concluded, practically yelled, "Can someone tell me WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!"
He opened his eyes and looked at the others, at the attention drawn to himself. He was immediately regretting his lack of control. Too many eyes, powerful figures, staring down on him. Whatever calmness he had tried to attain was gone, heart beating so erratically. Everything just seemed wrong today. Everything he did was just wrong.
His own eyes darted back and forth to each one, fingers falling from their fists as his hands fell limply at his sides. He rubbed his hand to forehead as he listened to the first reply, silently wishing just one thing.
Let this be a dream... Let this be a dream.

Adrian glared at the young human, "This has nothing that concerns you. Just consider yourself lucky to witness something that is more than what you're use to in your little mortal world. You'll find that living among your kind are beings that are more powerful and capable of many things that typical mortal wouldn't be capable of."
Adrian turned back to the youkai, "As for you, if you weren't looking for a fight then why come at us the way that you did? We were just passing through here."
"Well, actually..." Augustus started to play with his ear, "I kinda got distracted by some chick that I saw coming in here and kinda lost track of her and ended up here." He halfheartedly chuckled to himself but he didn't realize that the woman he was following was standing in front of him. Though he started to realize how attractive she was and his eyes started to wonder. Adrian rolled his eyes, he couldn't believe that this guy was looking at this woman in such a way after being scared of her. He continued to stare at the youkai though, waiting to see if she would back down or not.

Cielle very cautiously dropped her suspicious gaze. "Fae usually don't dwell here, and considering how little magical energy is emanating from this area, I assumed that you were up to no good. I apologize for my hastiness, but I don't take it back. There has been a lot of turmoil in this Realm as of late, what with the stirring of the Jin and the more open presence of some youkai in general. I just don't want to see anyone get hurt, especially not a Mortal, whether they're capable of doing magic or not. They still don't stand a chance." She was aware of the truce between Heaven and Hell at the moment, and the fact that many Upright and Fallen have decided to hash their rivalries out in the Mortal Realm, not caring about those who live there, made things exponentially worse.
She turned to the one with glasses. "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were an ice sprite, being as cold as you are. This young man has done nothing."
Next she faced the boy himself. "I'm sorry if we startled you. If there are any questions that I am able to answer for you, I will. However, I don't think that this would be the safest place. It's too open."

"Ok baby, I'll give you a call tonight" Guin said as the policeman smiled and carted off, humming. Flirting with the man was the only thing she could think of, and it worked effortlessly. Took Long enough though, and it would appear she missed some action as the number of persons in the nearby area seemed to increase. As she began to walk around, she noticed a few human forms and...
'Is that a sprite....here?? ' Guinivere quizzed herself. If she wanted to meet some companions in the area, magical beings were better than humans, at least that way if her secret came out, it wouldn't be that bad.
After adjusting her scarf and tucking in her wings tightly, she decided to speak out from 20 or so yards out and she strolled inward, saying something out of her character.
"Hey, why does everyone look so serious??"

Cielle sighed, pointing at the woman who approached. She seemed easygoing, but this was the point that she was trying to make. "See, this is exactly what I'm talking about. Whenever we gather, nothing goes right. Everyone else has to come around and see, like we're pieces in a zoo. Humans, non, they all gather once there's a little magic in the air. It's something about this Realm. Everyone's attracted by the stuff."
The ookami youkai turned to view the individual who had just interrupted them. "Who are you?" she inquired since no one else had.

"That's Harsh," Guin teetered, still feeling a little uneasy, but knowing now that she already put herself too deep in this situation to just jump ship.
" I mean none of you any harm, promise. My Name is Guinivere Aeris, and......" she paused for a second as she struggled over whether or not to say it. But Hell, if they were already coming out.....
".....I'm a Harpie. And Magical energy doesn't exactly show itself that often, so I was drawn to it. Although, to be honest, it would seem that I've stumbled upon quite the intervention."
Guinivere Shrugged as she walked closer, slowly.....cautiously. "And you all are?"

"Asleep," he said it simply. Backing up against one of the pillars, his escape was finally braced by something in his way. With each new person, each new arrival, he had taken a step back, trying to get further and further away from everyone. The pressure of their existence was pounding too heavily against his own.
His hand was clawed at the side of his head, before pushing his fingers back through his head, as if his nails could push all these overwhelming thoughts through his head. He didn't think it was possible for his heart to beat so fast, far faster, far harder than last night ... last night ...
There were just too many things, too many thoughts as each new piece came together. A harpie ... a sprite ... a faerie ... a werewolf ... a seer ... and last night, with ... with Gavin ... This day was just wrong. It was all wrong. So when she finally asked, "And you all are?" He gave a smirk in disbelief, replying in a soft whispering tone, "Asleep. I'm alseep."
He actually laughed a little then, and as his right hand fell from his head, his left hand reached up to clutch his chest. His laugh was weak, raspy - a wheezing laugh, as panic led straight into a full fledged asthmatic attack. It was so ludicrous.
Of course he would meet a seer, when his future and past alike were so uncertain, wrapped up from head to toe, covered from sight with just a glimpse left there, just like real life. Of course he would have a cowardly faerie hiding around the corner. Wasn't he one? It had all the symbolism of the books he loved to read.
His first guess was right. This was all one ludicrous dream. He wheezed again and shook his head, swiveling against the pillar and turning to run away. He clutched at his chest, though it wasn't like he was going very fast. He just wanted gone, didn't even care which direction it was as long as it was away. The brick against his chest made every forced breath hurt.
His voice screamed within his own mind, fighting to be heard over the sound of his own heartbeat. What was this pressure? He didn't even understand his own heart right now, didn't even understand why he was so messed up, he just felt, and it felt horrible. I want to wake up! I want to wake up! I want back! This is wrong! This is wrong! Get back, get back, GET BACK, GET BACK!
The air shimmered around him for a second with a muted gray light, like a bubble barely visible around his person. The shimmer imploded onto his being and he was gone with a sound like a rush of air filling in an unexpected vacuum. Two fallen leaves rose in accompaniment with the sound, towards the empty space where he had been a moment before, dropping just like feathers back down in a silent crashing spiral.

Another woman appeared and introduced herself as a Harpie. Augustus never even heard of them and thought that were probably as rare as running into a dragon. There wasn't anything extraordinary about her but that was probably because of her disguise which didn't look bad. The laughing distracted him from checking her out though and looked over to the which looked ill. He could tell that he was being overloaded with too much information and took off in a panic. He reach out as if he could grab him from where he stood and softly called out to him, "Hey wait," but he knew that even if the guy was standing near him he would have a hard time hearing him.
A look of defeat flashed across his face into a look of anger as turned to his sprite. "Look what you've done, you scared him off by revealing too much to him. He's just a mortal."
Adrian stared back at him, "Perhaps maybe he isn't one, have you ever thought about that? This youkai did said that everyone of us here was attracted to magic in the air even a little bit off it. A poor disillusioned boy, growing up not realizing what he really is."
"You don't know that and even if he is, do you think that this helped any? Do you know what kind of thing like this could do to a person psyche?"
"You've been living amongst these humans for too long." Adrian laughed erased the blank stare off his face.
Augustus practically started to yell at him, "I'm a faerie, what do you expect? We have a close connection to these people. I think perhaps maybe it was time that we leave before you start to scare other people around here."
He started to turn away but he notice the ladies that were standing there he almost forgot about. "Ladies, it was nice meeting you. I wished that perhaps we could have met under better circumstances but I have to return to the land of dreams now." He smiled at them before grabbing Adrian's arm to leave.

Guinivere's reaction to the next incident was ancient at best. She at least thought that the response "Asleep" to her question would be the most suprising thing to happen in the next matter of moments.
Major ThoughtFAIL.
One of the boys vanished right before her eyes! Slightly stunned, she looked all about for him in a bird like fashion before returning her gaze to the others in no particular stare.
"What happened to the boy? Where is he? Just what's going on here?"
'What the hell did I just walk into?' Guinivere thought to her self as she clenched her right talon. 'Is this a bad situation? are these people evil??'
She didn't know what to assume, but she did know not to jump to conclusions. Yeah, that was safe..... until the fae and the sprite got into it, and the faerie tried to jump ship.
"Don't ignore me, faerie." Guinivere said, folding her arms. "Nobody leaves until I'm filled in."
Guin put the kind of look on her face that would leave one to assume she wasn't playing. Yeah, a diva's look.
"So, who's speaking up first???"

Cielle chuckled, a habit that she'd picked up from her father as a response to when someone was over stepping their boundary. "We don't have to tell you anything, to be honest. You walked in on this session, not the other way around." She was indeed worried about the boy's sudden disappearance, but there was nothing to be done about that now. "In fact, to be realistic nothing happened. We were onto something before this crazy person screwed it up for us," she added in frustration, pointing at Adrian. She sighed. "Look, there is nothing to be gained here. I'm not in the mood to act as an ambassador from my neck of the woods. We shall conclude this as a neutral meeting and if the Gods deem it we shall meet again."
It only took a moment, her light magic moving to shield her form as she shifted from Human to Wolf. Even if she could hear them, she could no longer speak, and therefore there were no more questions to be asked of her. She would be leaving soon.

Augustus stopped when the harpie demanded what was going on and he instinctively wanted to tell her that he was of royal blood, that no one such as herself had any right to talk to him like that. It was weird because he didn't felt that way towards to the youkai but that was probably because of her sudden entrance to the area. Even if he did wanted to say something, the wolf girl spoke instead which may have been a good thing. He shot Adrian a glare when she mentioned how he screw things up.
But Adrian didn't feel that way at all. "I screwed things up?" He turned around and pulled his arm away from his master, "I'm not the one who ran into the scene growling and scaring people. But that doesn't matter to some beast such as yourself." He turned and started to walk away.
Frowning, Augustus felt that his sprite was being rather harsh. He sighed, "I'm sorry, he isn't usually like this. He's usually shows more restraint than that." He shook his head when he realize she was back to her wolf form and it was then he felt a twinge of sadness as if she had already left even though she was standing there as a wolf. There was something about her that he couldn't keep his eyes off of her. Perhaps he wanted her to change back but it seemed as though she had made up her mind.
He let out a breath and looked around. There was nothing left for him to do but to leave. "Again, I would like to say farewell to you ladies." He glanced at the harpie and felt that maybe there was some research he should do to learn more about them. But he had to leave now, it seemed to him that he was just wasting time, time that he could be spending on training so he could gained an officer title in the army. He turned and quickly left to catch up with Adrian who was now way ahead of him.
"Wait Adrian, do you know where you're going. I was going to ask those boys to point us to the right direction back to campus." He was out of sight after that.

Guin slowly cocked her head back and blinked as sand was blown in her face. 'Wow,' she thought. 'What a rude lot. First the girl tells me off, then the fae just walks off.'
Guin then began to internalize. Even if the others ignored her completely, what about the boy who seemed so confused and lost? Doesn't he matter to anyone?? Yeah.....
"What about the boy? He just vanishes and no one cares??
Upset, guinivere flicked her blue tendrils back out of her face with her left talon and continued down her neck, reaching for her scarf. Once she unraveled it, and as she began to tie it around her waist, Her beautiful and magnificient white wings became visible. Stretching them out fully, She flapped them twice before speaking up again.
"I'm going to look for the boy." Guinivere said adamantly . "This is your last chance to help, wolf-girl. Take it or leave it."

[switching to Tomo's account to close this after my post.]
There was something about this Harpy-woman that she didn't like. First of all, she had never encountered one before, and that put her on edge. It genuinely bothered her--her papa had never told her about them, either. She felt as though something was terribly wrong about this situation. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she would regroup and figure it out.
Cielle also resented that the bird-woman for implying that she did not care about the boy at all, right after she had just spent a minute or two lecturing the Fae and his companion about it.
However, since she could not speak, she simply turned and padded away. Though wings this woman may have, Cielle's nose was much more effective in picking up people she'd had contact with, and if the boy had gone into a building this the winged-one would have absolutely no luck at all. Cielle hoped the clueless Harpy wouldn't scare any of the other children here.
It seemed that their makeshift meeting had been adjourned, albeit unwillingly. Cielle had wished that they could just speak to the boy right here, but clearly something was up. How had he been able to vanish like that? What sort of magic was he dabbling in? She didn't understand just as much about the encounter as he had, most likely, despite having been equipped with more information...
