[This takes place after Oracle's involvement in "Festival"]
Oracle continued to ride inside his limousine, until he arrived within the lot of his private airport in Tokyo, Japan. His driver left the vehicle once it was placed in Park, and opened the disguised Malakite's door.
"Here we are, Mr. Bleache'," he said almost ritualistically.
Oracle peered out into the open, narrowing his eyes as he became familiar with his surroundings. In actuality, he was looking to see if there would be any more disturbances from that arrogant bloodsucker, Yurik. He had all the belief in the world that Kain could finish the leech, but that vampire had proved to be more persistent than any mortal creature he had yet to run into.
Once he was convinced that he was indeed absent from the vampire's presence, Oracle nodded at the driver and left the limousine, instantly greeted by the pilot of Oracle's personal jet plane, which was a few yards away.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Bleache'," the pilot said to Oracle as they started to walk toward the plane. "I trust your day was eventful?"
"For lack of better words, John," Oracle said as he was handed some papers by the driver of the limousine, also accompanying the two of them. "How's your wife?" he asked, even though it was clear that he was uninterested.
"She's due in two months," the pilot named John replied. "The scan said that it's a boy, but you can't trust technology nowada-"
"Do you have my coordinates, Mr. Cooper?" Oracle cut him off, irritated that he did not stop after his first sentence.
"Yes, sir," John replied. "JFK International Airport, New York City."
"How long will the flight take?" Oracle asked.
"On average, it would take two days. But with the new technology Skylight has developed for air travel, the trip should be about twelve hours."
The two immediately entered the jet plane. Oracle was greeted by two stewardists as he took his seat and put on his seat belt. In all honesty, he hated flying as the mortals do, especially since his way of transportation was much more sufficient. But in order for him to live amongst the mortals he had no choice but to live by their customs.
After a few minutes, the plane took off. The stewardists immediately served him a glass of bourbon as he looked over the papers he was given by his limousine driver. Taking a sip, he read over the information of two individuals he'd been pondering over during the course of two days.
Placing his drink on a nearby table, Oracle grabbed his cellular phone and dialed a few numbers. Placing the phone near his ear, he waited patiently for whoever he was dialing to pick up on the other end.

[This takes place immediately after "Panic Switch," and moments before "Run Fay, Run"]
It was rather obvious to Matthieu that there were too many things going on in one day. So when he returned to his office in Skylight Industries, you didn't have to be a rocket scientists to tell that he was shit tired. From what he found out today, he was ready to call this case closed. Those two pictures of the blond and the purple-head were clearly two of the leaders of the Devil Saints. And that flower shop? That flower shop had to be a front. Bottom line? The Devil Saints were real; there was nothing else to explain.
Well, maybe there was one more thing...
He looked at Aika slowly. He couldn't look at her face. If he did, then he'd end up feeling sorry for her. He didn't want to feel weak around her, and whenever he felt that way he always looked at her adorable face. So instead, she just focused on her as a whole; not just focusing on one specific aspect. He couldn't prove anything, but he knew that she had something to do with this, somehow; this whole Devil Saint thing.
That blond was her daughter. He just knew it was. And that purple-haired boy had to have been her son. The guy in black was too new to fall in the theory. But he wasn't Humphrey Bogart. He needed solid proof; not bullshit theories. And that was the hardest part about being a gumshoe.
He rested his feet on top of his desk, placed his blue fedora on his face and rested his hands behind his head. After a good five hours of staking out a fucking flower shop, you get pretty tired. Besides; he needed time to think about how he was gonna pull this off.
Then the phone rang.
Matthieu sighed loudly, obviously irritated that his peace was so easily disturbed. Lifting up his hat a bit, he glanced Aika's way.
"Can you put the phone on speaker, sweetheart?" he asked.

Aika just wish this day was almost over. She needed to figure out some of the things that was happening while she was away form the Devil Saints. Sure, she had people looking out for her children but as far as people in the Organiztion it slef, she had no ears. Sure what she was going to do, using a bug on her coat that her partner placed, was risky but she was sure that Sara had someone in there that could jam the signal or something like that.
Hearing the phone ring, which was on her side of the room, she heard Matt ask to put it on speaker phone. She had no clue who was calling but she was curious.
Lightly pressing the button, she spoke.
"Hello, how may I hep you?"

Once Oracle heard Aika's voice through the receiving end of his phone, he smirked. Given the circumstances that passed since their last meet, the Malakite had to admit; it was a tad bit... interesting to hear her voice again.
"Hello, Aika dear," he said. "It's me, Markus. I hope your enjoying your new position."
He made an awkward pause, thinking about who else could be present. "Is Mr. Clarke present?"

Aika blushed a little. Part of the reason because it was Markus and the other reason because of how Markus spoke to her. She quickly tried to shake off the blushing and clear her throat.
"I would like to thank you for this job, Mr. Markus. And yes, Matt is on the other line, I have you on speaker phone. What is it that you need, Sir?"
She let the last word roll off her tounge slowly giving a look of passion on her face that she knew Matthieu would catch but she didn't care.

Matthieu removed the hat from his face once he heard a man's voice go through the speaker. It sounded familiar, but he couldn't be sure. Phones had a way of deepening the tones of certain people's voices. But if anything, he could guess that the reason he thought is was someone else was because he was addressing Aika in a tone not so casual, if you know what I mean.
Then the voice asked if he was present. That made Matt raise an eyebrow. Only business called him by his last name, and that only made him more curious. Then she said the name.
Mr. Markus.
Mr. Markus Bleache'.
It all made sense to him now; like a problem you'd been trying to solve all day, only to realize that the answer was staring you right in the face.
Yep; this Aika was something else, alright.
Matthieu sat up in his chair, lit a smoke and took a puff before letting it do a balancing act on the ashtray on his desk. He let out the smoke right when his Hollywood-hoar of a partner said the word "sir" with an emphasis on the seduction. He should have been used to this; this was what he lived and breathed. But there was something... different about this broad that kept him off his game these last few days.
"Matthieu Clarke here, Mr. Bleach," he said. "How can we help ya's today, boss?"

Oracle sighed upon hearing the human's mispronunciation of his alias. It was typical, he should have known; humans could never get anything right, after all. After a roll of his eyes, he placed his mouth back toward the receiving end, picking up the glass of bourbon with his other hand.
"Good day, Mr. Clarke," Oracle greeted. "It's good to finally hear your voice; I've heard rather good things about your line of work when they referred your name to me for this department."
Oracle took a sip of his bourbon before placing it back on the table and looking at the information his limousine driver gave him earlier. Smiling, he once again directed himself toward the phone conversation.
"I am calling because I have some more business matters for you two to attend," he said, completely ignoring if Matthieu responded to his compliment. "I know I have the two of you researching the possible existence of the Devil Saints. But I know that you two detectives are known for having an excessive amount on your plate and successfully able to finish it all in one setting. So with that said, I have two more assignments for you, along with some good news."
Oracle placed the papers down on the desk which were connected to two individual photographs of two males via paperclip, waiting for the responses of his two detectives.

Aika, being the woman that she was now, was used to hearing bad news or bad things in general but this was something different. This was something that had to do with her children's well being. She didn't know what she had grab at the mention of The Devil Saints. Aika did know at the moment that she was clenching it rather tightly.
After letting whatever she had in her go, she cleared her throat and began to speak, holding back what anger she had in her.
"Now," she said softly, "What could these two assignments be Mr. Bleache?"

Matthieu had to admit; he was a bit curious about what else the boss wanted them to do. In a way, he was at a stand-still; he knew a good amount of info, but he couldn't tell Mr. Bleache' any of it because it involved his partner Aika as a suspect. And if he was right about his current assumption, he wouldn't necessarily take like that he's been boinkin' a possible key suspect.
In a way, he was glad he didn't flat out ask about the case. He didn't feel like lying to the person who signs his checks. Bad manners, see? So instead he acted like it was business as usual, hoping that the boss didn't ask about the progress.
"Yeah, boss," Matt seconded his partners query about the two assignments. "What are they?"

Oracle smiled as he once again shifted through the paperwork before him, noticing pictures of two men; one a red-head, and the other with blackened hair. He put his phone closer to his face once again and prepared to speak.
"I need you to look into the affairs of two individuals for me," Oracle told them. "The first one's name is Lihat Tanpa Melihat; a foreigner from Indonesia. He's a student in Japan currently; I just came from a visit at the facility, actually. I want whatever information you can find on this Lihat; he has supposedly made a very fine making for himself in trade and the small businesses near where he lives. And even though it is highly unlikely Skylight will have any major competition for a good while, he could either help us or become a pest of nuisance.
"Your second assignment is a man named Sean Colton," Oracle continued. "He's a bartender at a local tavern in London, but has been known to be quite the P.I. as well. I want you two to find out all you can about him and see if he would like a job with us as well. I believe he would be a rather nice addition to Skylight..."

Aika, after hearing Markus speak about the two missions, was able to calm herself down. It was enough, for now, have her mind on the job rather than her boss. She will come back to this subject but on her own accord and her own time. Although Matt was working for Skylight like a good dog, she didn't want him hurt.
He was starting to grow on her.
"Okay," she spoke up, "When can we start. I always like traveling but to add more people to this department would be a nice bonus. I do have a question though."
Aika rose out of her seat, fixing up her shirt and smoothing out her pants.
"What do we do if they don't want to join?"

...They?
Oracle looked at his cell phone as if it were a person itself; his face rather repulsed at Aika's comment. He cleared his throat and brought the phone back to his ear.
"No, sweetheart," Oracle said to her, the pet name sounding rather unnatural coming from his lips. "Only focus on getting Colton on board. We only want to keep an eye on Lihat. Look for weaknesses in his small business strategies, see if there is room for a buyout; things like that. Colton on the other hand could use Skylight's support; his field of Private Investigation intrigues me."
Oracle took another sip of his bourbon and let out a sigh from the alcohol burn he grew accustomed to. One could say that the beverages in the mortal realm were some of its best qualities.
"I hope your getting everything here, Mr. Clarke," he said on the phone. "You've been rather quiet since the conversation started. Everything all right with you?"

Aika was surprise that Markus that he just wanted to keep tabs on one the people that he mention. Though she didn't really think of why after hearing a few key words , it was strange how he handle the miscommunication.
Another thing of his I guess.... She thought as Aika cross her legs.
Another thing that also cross her mind was how silent her partner was. It wasn't like him to be this quiet...for anyone. Regardless of that, she was there to speak for the both of them.
"I'm sure he's thinking of something." she spoke, "I would like to take the Lihat case. Unless, I miscommunicated again..."

...Sweetheart.
That was all he needed.
It wasn't like he couldn't see it coming; it was a key assumption after all. And even though he was right about Aika being with the boss, there was a part of him that didn't feel right. You know that little tug you get at your gut and your heart when something unexpected happens to you? The feeling that only happens when something's wrong or something bad happens? Well that's how Matt was feeling when he heard that word.
Sweetheart...
"I hope your getting everything here, Mr. Clarke," the boss said over the phone. "You've been rather quiet since the conversation started. Everything all right with you?"
Matt looked up at the phone, preparing to answer.
"I'm sure he's thinking of something," Aika said for him. "I would like to take the Lihat case. Unless, I miscommunicated again..."
"...If she takes the Lihat case, then I'll take on getting Colton on board, boss," he said. "When do you want me to leave for London?"

Oracle snickered at hearing Clarke call him "boss." The authoritative nature of the word plus the man's Brooklyn accent just made the Malakite grin with glee. He took another sip of his drink and took in a breath.
"As soon as you see fit, Mr. Clarke," he said over the phone. "Take your time in the endeavor; that's all we have, after all. We must have something to present to Mr. Colton. By the time you're ready to head to England, the Private Investigative branch of Skylight will be known worldwide as with all the other branches we spawned on this globe. When that time comes and he sees what we have to offer him, he'd be foolish not to join us."
Oracle looked out the window of the airplane. From what he could see, it seemed like they just crossed into Chinese airspace with Russia soon to follow.
"And now that you two have your assignments," he continued, "I'll leave you two at it. I'm currently on my way to America, and I need all the rest I can get. You two play nice now. Goodbye."
Oracle hung up the phone and tossed it in the seat across from him, continuing to look at the pictures of Sean and Lihat. His face grew serious as it rested in his elevated hand, narrowing his eyes as if he were seeing through the genuine articles. Everything was going so right for once. All his pawns were in place, and all of his places were set up so strategically that no one could escape the traps once the tripwire was sprung.
Oracle smiled.
