Ayaka sat in the seat that was at her desk which was odd for her because here she was sitting in front of a desk in front of desk. She never thought she would be in front of mortals, that alone teaching them.
But lucky, she thought of that already and took the last class anyone would think of correcting her on. The one thing that wouldn't get her killed or at least run out of the school. She needed the job to keep tabs on the mortals here.
Mythology.
Sure, there weren't really much students in here but she knew that leaving her notebook would at least test the kid she met at the food court. She needed him.
More or less.
But back to the desk. She looked at her student Roster while tapping her fingers lightly on the pine wood desk. She was surprised that only 5 students signed up for this class, she was hoping for more but she guess that mortals didn't care too much for "Myth", at least the young ones, as technology became smaller and smaller, it was slowly becoming their "magic".
Although, she still believe that some people here had some belief in magic, angels and fallen and that is why she was here, to find out more. There had to be some people out here that still believe in it. What she could do with this information, well, that was going to be Lady Tomo's choice in the matter.
Just as she was getting her thoughts to herself, Ayaka heard foot steps coming in her direction.

Kim was distracted through much of his day leading up to his mythology class. He had never really been that way before, but something about having a young slutty teacher for an already easy class made him mildly agitated. In his mind it would be fine for physics or calculus when he would have plenty of subject matter to focus on, but mythology was garbage and he would be forced to have opinions and share theory. He sighed as history ended and rose from his seat, checking to make sure the notebook was still there. He glared into his bag realizing this book was the only reason he hadn't gone to the dean to get his class changed. He zipped his bag and slung it over his right shoulder, ignoring the yelp of a nearby student who had to dodge his inadvertent attack.
Kim started out the door and across the campus, shoving his left hand in his pocket to turn up the volume on his ipod. The soothing beat he'd made last weekend spilled into him through his ears, washing away the retarded world around him. Mythology huh?, music is my magic. I guess she wasn't smart enough to take on a real subject. Kim's thoughts brought a smile to his lips as he glided through the corridors with of his design marking time. He found himself in front of his class in no time, and took a moment to prep himself for an annoying class. At least it's the last class on my schedule.
Kim pushed through the door as he slid his hand into his bag to grab the notebook. His hand found the object that did not belong and he removed it from his bag. He walked directly, and with a tad of anger in his step at that, to her desk with the book in hand.
"As a teacher, you should really learn to keep track of your things," Kim snapped as he slammed her notebook on her desk. He immediately turned his back to her, turned up his headphones and began his walk to the back of the room.

Ayaka had to make a slight grin at the comment. If anything this one mortal could give her it was a laugh. She could tell that he didn't have any ties with anyone here and from what the other teachers had to say about him, he was "scary" smart.
Perfect. He was just perfect. But first she had to get him and no, not in his pants. He wasn't even her type. Ayaka needed a "tour guide" to this Realm. While books and other reading material was in Hell, not to mention all of the talk that the others had of the Mortal Realm, she had no idea of the place. Not only was this a mission for Lady Tomoyo bu a bit of a learning lesson for her as well.
But back at the task at hand. She was told to keep the door open for students for at least seven minutes before closing the door on them and telling the riff-rafts that they were shit out of luck for today, so that left her and Kim to talk business.
Knowing that the boy would be listening to his headphones, She took her index finger and told Kim to come up to her desk.

Kim reached an empty desk and sat there calmly, his headphones blaring and his course book in front of him as he waited for the rest of the class. He wasn't expecting many more people to show but there was really no telling. The new teacher may actually attract the remainder of the class for once. Kim himself was just wondering what the slutty young fantasy teacher would "teach" him today. His eyes were focused unblinkingly on the front of the room as a sign of remote respect. He normally paid little to no attention to his teachers, but it was her first day so he would grant her his eyes.
Kim expected something along the lines of a soundless complaint about his headphones, or a sigh seeing he was her whole class. Hell, usually the teacher just stated without a care about who was present or listening. Yet, for some reason this female just had to be special and signal him with his finger. Kim's pride roared and he lifted and eyebrow, his head tilting to the right a bit. The look of on his face was a well expressed What the fuck, and he wasn't moving a damned inch. Kim instead placed both elbows on his desk and leaned forward. Because she may actually have something to say he went as far as to pause his music.
Kim took a breath before shouting across the room. "I have interrupted my gorgeous rhapsody to allow you to substitute it with your ghastly voice. Please, grace me with your important words so I can forget them and return to my studies in harmony."
He pulled away his headphones from his head mid-speech and brushed his hand into his hair. The short length of hair parted through his fingers before falling as his palm passed over. His eyes keenly attached to his interruption and his full focus upon her. People who knew of him and his normal demeanor would be startled to gain his attention. Many more would be nervous just by his attention being so keenly focused on anything that didn't belong in an orchestra.

"You know kid," Ayaka spoke, "You really make it fucking hard to give a job to." Ayaka knew what she was doing, and what she said wasn't very welcoming but she had to get this kid.
If it meant speaking the lingo, she would do it. Even if she was, in a way, calling him out.
She took a deep breath and slowly let it out. "I know for a fact that I might get just one more student but in the case that I don't, you are my class. If that is the case, I will make this the easiest class you have ever taken. You just have to some things for me."

Kim gave her enough attention to hear all of her mini speech. He figured she didn't negotiate well because she was definitely failing now. As he saw it her rise to teacher-hood probably involved less talking and more blowing. Though, before that he could still respect at least her desire to be a teacher and hold that, but now that she was promising him a simple class he'd lost the dwindling amount of "worth a shit" he'd left in her name. Kim shook his head, he sighed and closed his eyes as he dropped his head for a moment. He was here on a scholarship and he got an allowance from home as well as what was left over in the book allotment from the school, he needed no job.
Kim almost thought about it until the simple label Bothersome popped into and across his head over and over. There was no way in hell he would put himself in the position to do unnecessary work. He'd rather earn his grade then do favors for it. Not to mention it was the suck off slut herself offering this exchange, nothing but fail. Kim stood tilted his head to either side to crack his neck, then removed the jacket he wore into class. With a pensive look on his face he walked toward the front of the class, even going as far as to leave his headphones off for the walk. He fought the verge to blast the music back into his ears hearing the random noises of the school.
"Look teach, I don't so much as know your name, let alone know what possessed you into thinking I would take a job from you," he said in a low and cool voice as he reached her desk. "I am here for free, and pretty much paid to stay, why should I go out of my way to work for my slutty new teacher whose first act as such was to offer me an easy meal ticket. The small amount of respect I had for you drained down your seeping anus when you spat bullshit across the room about a job making my class easier. You need to learn your students better. You cannot tell me you picked me out like this without looking into my background, or at least asking around about me. I don't work in class, why would I work out of it. Are you completely stupid you fucking slut?"
Kim released the venom he'd held for the last few days in his attempt to make up for the bad karma he'd started with the skinny chick at the burger joint. He had more, but he didn't need to be expelled over the new cum-dumpster sitting pretty at the front of his class. So instead he stood leaning over the side of her desk resting his palms on the wood finish. To anyone outside it would look like a normal student asking his teacher a few questions.

Ayaka only smiled. His comments made no effect on her, she had heard the rest in Hell and Kim's response to her offer was as expected.
"You know," Ayaka said with a slight sigh as she moved papers away from her desk, "You are wrong about two things and two things only. Item one: I'm not a slut and if you think I have any feelings for men, let alone Mortal Men, you are not as smart as everyone in this school say. Item Two, and this is the most important of them all so bare in mind this tidbit, I do know what you are all about."
Ayaka, rose out her seat slowly, keeping the appearance that she was helping him with something. Her back turned she continued.
"The attitude toward me and anyone that seems to to try to start any conversation with you means you are not a people person. The headphones even support it. You walk of 'I'm-better-than-you' which translate your a kid with scholarship full ride and everything. The teachers and your recodes support this as well. I know you don't need money, so what makes you think I was going to pay you cash. If you did give shit about this class, you would have read your book."
She turn back around but this time, her eyes glowed a red glow. Smoke appeared around her, slowly forming the shape of her wings.
"What does it say about Djinn?" she asked.

Lux was rather interested in his new target, she not only took his words without a flinch she smiled. At that point the notes rearranged in his mind, creating an all new symphony in her name. His thoughts turned to those fortunate minds that were graced with as lovely a melody as they have a composer. His eyes thinned mildly as he thought of the few other routes this female may actually follow. Maybe I was wrong, and she's just your average flirt. Still annoying in any case.
Kim watched as she moved and shuffled her papers around, her words causing a bit of curiosity to strike a cord in Kim. She'd said mortal men as if she'd met something otherwise of interest. Of course there was the comment of knowing what he was all about. If by chance she knew about him she wasn't at all likely to know what he was about. No matter how much she knew from her research there wasn't a person in his school nor this state that knew half a shit about him in person. Kim was cynical of her character once again. It was a habit of his to be judgmental, and she was triggering a lot of jumbled notes.
She's overshot herself once again, she knows nothing about me, she probably just knows...
"The attitude toward me and anyone that seems to to try to start any conversation with you means you are not a people person. The headphones even support it. Just as I thought. Kim's mind set a music selection finding her tune rather quickly, he was at a point where he understood her point well and knew his position. Kim figured she had something she believed he would want or at least interest him. Kim settled for her sales pitch thinking she'd have a job or some other offer to make interesting, but why her mention of the book?
Kim looked down to check his book before she turned toward him, he pulled it out and set it down. his eyes on the text of it's cover. She asked her question with him still unawares and he smirked without looking up. In his general pompous manner he closed his eyes and raised his head.
"Djinn? This book places them at kin to Genies doesn't it? Other books suggest a form of demon or wraith, and even other texts use references to fallen angels. Why would you ask such a stupi.." Kim had opened his eyes and stopped. His eyes shot open and he took a shaking step backward.
Kim took a breath, moved his bag onto his shoulder comfortably and placed his headphones over his ears. He then turned around calmly and walked out of the classroom with his music blaring.

Ayaka smiled as she saw the look on his face. She believed that she was able to get through to the young man very well but then he walked way. Well to be accurate, he backed away calmly out of her room, away from her. When she got to the door way, it was pretty clear that he was leaving.
Not Good. Not good at all.
"Oh Come on!" Ayaka shouted as she ran after the kid.
Oh wait what am I doing...? She asked her self as she stopped halfway. Just so happened no one was in the hallway.
Snapping her fingers, she appeared in front of Kim, blocking the door way out.
"Running isn't going to do anything Kim." She said softly.
"Besides, we haven't finish our conversation."

Kim felt himself tremble in an uncomfortable way, deeper then anything he'd felt before. He was of an intellectual mind and he refused, quite bluntly to accept anything he'd just seen. He desperately tried to piece it together as he made his way down the hall and it wasn't working. the sound of music in his ears was drowned out by hi mortal heart blasting the bass through is veins. There was nothing he knew more then the fact that he was in over his head with whatever he was in. His mind placed it in the realm of hallucination, he could think of nothing else. I had my music off for too long and the world got the best of me is all, yeah that's all it was.
Kim saw the door ahead and he wanted so badly to quicken his tempo and make a clean exit. He felt the unbridled fortissimo of his pulse bang at his chest and then the door was masked. The mask was not merely blackness but a gap in the measures that was nothing akin to a rest.
"NO,"
Her appearance beat on him like a tympani orchestra and he felt his very awareness rattle. She was not real, and he would not accept her. She spoke, why did she speak, he had no desire to hear. Kim shook his head and made to push past her.
"I hear nothing but my melody, I see nothing that isn't my harmony," He raised his head to stare through her. "I damn sure don't acknowledge you."
Speaking as if to a nightmare he shoved against her hoping to free himself of her presence.

This Mortal is becoming annoying.... Ayaka thought as Kim kept walking, even trying to shove her out of the way. Okay, she thought some more, maybe I did scare him a little and he might be going off the deep end just a little but I am trying.
Sighing, let her wings harden and extend in front of the doorway between her and the young man, hoping that it will stop him. Being the only other door that led out of the school other that the one near her room in the back. She had a feeling that if Kim was smart he would stop.
"Would you stop running?" she asked with another sigh. "I don't care if you like it or don't, you know about the REAL world now. The world of your melody and harmony is gone now. And it all started when you brought back my book."

Kim stopped, what else could he do, there wear a vicious pair of menacing black wings blocking his way. Kim's battery went dead, his heart sank, his eyes watered. what had Kim done to deserve this. Maybe he deserved to get his ass whooped for being so cruel to people sometimes but not this. There was no reason for it, he looked back, was there even a point in running to the other door. He stared at the demon before him,no, no point, she'd cut him off. Kim felt his knees buckle, his legs wouldn't support him, not now. Kim fell, and the fall was as deep in him as it was physical as he found himself on the floor. Tiles are hard, at least the world was still the way he'd left it in the classroom.
His eyes raised and she spoke, so human she sounded. Exasperation? what right does she have to sigh? Damn it Kim felt a tear, but couldn't explain what he was crying for, it wasn't sadness or fear. He couldn't even muster a rage at the moment, only numb and tears. Kim's world was not harmony and melody, she was right. Kim's world was a lot less fair then measures and tempo. He wasn't even able to comprehend what significance a notebook had.
"This isn't a fucking manga you dumb bitch, a notebook of destiny? don't feed me your bullshit," Kim said with a hollow tone. His tongue was numb, what was the point in talking. There wasn't a rhyme to this, no reason for her to be here. Kim slammed his eyes shut and opened them again. Not a nightmare either.
Kim reached forward and touched the bottom edge of her wing. Pain. Kim looked down and saw the deep cut in his palm, his tears fell. I guess I'm not gonna hear my alarm clock.
"Djinn... soul eaters. every book says the same thing about that part," Kim's voice shook, and again he knew nothing of the reason. He wasn't afraid, he didn't currently know what to be afraid of. Was he scared that a demon had found hims or that he was losing his mind. Kim's eyes glazed and his mind stopped working logically. He looked up again.
"slut..." Kim's lips found a reason to stir a depraved grin and he passed out.

Ayaka watched as Kim quivered and fall under all the things that he went through with her. Her eyes finding it's place on this Mortal becoming increasingly aware that this was real and just something he could put off away from his mind.
He said that the line about the notebook was "bullshit", that it wasn't destiny. He was partly right, it wasn't some magical note book, the thing had no meaning or anything to Ayaka in anyway. Hell, if he had looked inside the notebook or anyone for that matter took the time to turn the pages in the book, they would fine that it was blank.
No tricks, no hidden words, just an ordinary notebook. But he had a choice to hand it over to him. He could have gave it to someone else to give to her or threw it away. There is always a choice and he chose his when he brought it to her room and stayed.
"Djinn... soul eaters. every book says the same thing about that part..." his voice shook so much fear. Ayaka was starting to feel sorry for the boy. But then he called her a slut and fainted on her. With a Grin no less.
There was a bit of silence in the hallway as Ayaka, with her wings slowly fading away, just looked at Kim still knocked out on the floor.
Kneeing down and grabbing Kim by his waist, she made her way back in her classroom. When she got there, walked in, close the door and locked it. It was going to be a while.

Kim dreamed of oblivion, no images thrilled his mind's fancy or eased his tormented psyche. His eyes where glued shut by the trauma that'd led him into his shut down. The sun faded away and left the room dark or dim, not that Kim could tell. He couldn't have known whether the lights were on or not since he was yet to arise but his min raced silently for no reason and to no end. Kim was lost within himself and the door to his musical mind had locked itself shut from the outside. Kim shivered and trembled and rocked in his sleep and not once did he make a sound to hint at his nightmare. there was not a thing in his mind running correctly and as such no real dream flowed to him, only silent darkness and dread.
Kim stirred, the cold sweat on his now clammy skin making him shiver. He made that all to common hissing inhale as he clenched his biceps and sat up slowly. Kim instinctively clenched his eyes shut as if to deny he had been through the memories rushing back into his freshly awakened yet tired mind. He felt a coursing pain in his right hand and knew that he was not awaking from a dream. He noticed that there was no music in his ears and knew he was without protection. Kim worried for a moment, trembling in near psychosis, not able to manage all that was occurring.
"You... still here?" Kim managed to get out uncomfortably. He was sure he wasn't alone, no one had taken him to a hospital cause there wasn't the soft feeling of a bed and sterile smell of clean linen. He was on a hard surface which made him only hope it was still the school.
"Slutty demon freak? You should at least have taken me home, it's the least you could do after cutting my hand with your wings. Really, do they have no manners wherever you spawned from?" Kim slandered as he knew only one way to cover roughed nerves or fear. Though, unlike most times he didn't have a stoic cynical facade, but a shaking shaking demeanor much like a POW.

Ayaka continued to sit on top of her desk and watch Kim slowly get up, the sun finally setting and most of the student body leaving the school grounds. She kept watching as he started to speak, still calling her a slut. Ayaka only shook her head with a sigh.
"First off," she started, "if I'm mistaken, you were the one that grab my wing in the first place. If I wanted to hurt you, I could have. Second, I'm not a demon, I'm a Fallen Angel, got it?"
Making another sigh, she jumped out of her seat, making her way toward the window. Opening the blinds, she saw that the last of the teachers were leaving now. Her eyes narrow toward the the parking lot. It was empty now with the only warmth coming from the dim street lights that were out.
The two of them were finally alone.
"Third, I don't know where you live. I was waiting for you to wake so I can do that. Like you said, it is the least I can do."
Turning back around, she walked toward the young man. "I'm not going to kill you, I have no reason to do that, just to let you know. Now if you would just be quiet, I can tell you why I'm here. Okay, do we have a deal?"

Kim listened, and listened fully with no music to aid him. He opened his eyes and looked at her hesitantly, she was normal again thankfully. His heart slowed to a soft roar and he relaxed. Kim found himself shaken but fairly stable considering, at least he knew his composure wasn't weak. She watched the moving bodies of his professors and he noticed the lateness of the hour. It was getting dark and Kim was getting nervous. For once ,he didn't like the lack of sound outside of the classroom, because this time he was alone with a demon.
She spoke again, telling him it was his fault he was bleeding and that she was a fallen angel and not a demon. Kim thought for a moment and simply stuck with seeing her as a demon. He figured in his mind that fallen angels were still somewhat majestic, not terrifying slut teachers. Her wings didn't fit the description either...
Kim looked her over again and nodded unconsciously, Definitely a demon. He wasn't sure he wanted to hear anything she had to say, apparently she was waiting for him to tell her were he lived but that would have been in his school records, and if she'd checked his background at all she'd have to look in those records right? He wasn't buying it and he didn't like her, and thus he was more likely to keep that dislike and not believe a word she was saying. Kim carved his impression of her in his granite score and stowed it away in the recesses of his repertoire. He glared, knowing she was beyond his current understanding and hating her for fucking the flow of his well tuned life.
Kim rose, searched for his bag for a bit before pausing to turn and stare at her. He knew he would only be able to leave when she permitted it, that she'd already proven. He knew that she wanted him to listen and he didn't want to know anything about her at all. Kim knew that she was not human and therefore did not belong, and with all of this he was sure she would offer him nothing of worth. Kim found himself clench his fist and failed to realize the rise in combative feeling toward the mild oppression of her presence. Kim wanted her to burst into flames and be gone, but there was nothing he could do. He was helpless and trapped in the room with the only devil he knew existed with no sound to please his ear.
"I don't want to know a damned thing about your purpose. You have kept me here for nothing and I don't want to know why. I have nothing to do with you and your kind so just leave me alone. I'm a normal kid with no intention of troubling myself with whatever you intend to burden me with," he said, articulating every word with a seething venom. His dislike of everything in this situation making him course with annoyance."If you would refrain fro baring my exit, oh great fallen demon bitch, I'll head go home now and erase you from my memory, or are your plans that important? You can't intrigue me into a trap and I'm not making any deals with a soul biting devil."
Kim was waiting for a reason to lash out, however futile the action would be. He was frantic without his headphones, and agitated to be so grandly disrupted from his everyday life. Kim was absolutely in no mood for deals and tales from the bowls of hell.

Another deep sigh and a roll of the eyes was Ayaka's response to Kim's comments.
"I sure did pick a dumb one." Ayaka spoke with a slight chuckle. "I don't eat souls. The book you read for class is nothing more then guesses from people like you. As for my plans, they are important. To me, to you, to everyone. They are very important. My plans may have an effect on everything."
What she said was a bit off. She didn't know what Lady Tomoyo would do with this information and in all do respect, this was something that she had came up with. She only told a few people that she would be gone. And when she mean told, she meant she left a letter and told Migo to take care of things.
"Look, I need your help. So please, listen to what I have to say. if you don't like it, you can leave and I can find someone else to help me. I won't bother you again."
She just hope that he had a heart.

Kim wasn't feeling this conversation and he didn't like this situation, not to mention it all seemed so bogus. she was not a soul eater and she was trying to effect the world. Her plans, whatever they may be didn't seem all that important to him, and likely never would. He was not into changing the world and he didn't want to have a hand in it either. All the major world-shakers were dead, dying or in the shadows pulling the real string and even he knew that. This woman wanted something he was never intending to find himself included in, the mass effect of some big plan.
Kim stood, lifted his bag on his shoulder and walked toward the door, Need my help huh? Bull, you can sprout wings and fly. God knows what else you're capable of. He stopped in the middle of the room and paced, he had no idea where to go with this. He didn't like her, she made him uncomfortable before, and that was before the glowing eyes and bat-wings, and know she needed help. Kim just wanted to go home and sleep, then he wanted it all to be gone tomorrow.
"Let me get this straight, you're an angel with some creepy wing and smoke thing going on. I'm a normal guy getting average grades in a standard college... and you need my help with your world shaping plans," He stared at her and shook his head. "Can you honestly look anyone in a the face and tell them this doesn't sound like bullshit? I mean, think about what you just said. And what reason would I have to help you? The way you force me to listen to your spiel alone would cut your chances." Kim sighed, he couldn't think of what she would need him for.
"Just take me home, you already said you would, and if I'm even going to begin considering your bullshit you had better start earning the time I spend with my headphones off." Kim eyes glazed, he was feeling nauseous. This whole event had taken place outside his comfort zone. He was impatient, tired and frustrated, he was in no condition to make decisions. "I'm tired so hurry up."
Kim once again made for the door, if she didn't follow he'd try to make it to the bus stop and leave, but hopefully she had a car...

Ayaka made a slight grin. She has happy that Kim would at least listen but, in a way, it could blow up in her face and she could be left without help for awhile. She had to go about this carefully and get to the point of the matter with him.
Walking toward the exit, she walked out the door first, waiting for Kim to follow. "Okay, we can get a ride to your place from my chauffeur. She should be out back waiting for me. But to start off, My name is Kawahira Ayaka: Ruler of the Second Layer of Hell. I come here to learn if the Mortal Realm know's about The War that may or may not happen here."

Kim forced his steps for a moment as the gravity of her words crushed against him. Doesn't she know anything about subtly? His mind strayed but not so far, he couldn't really decide on how to react, she was just so unreal. He wasn't expecting all this when he woke up and got his things together for school in the morning. Kim wasn't sure he would be able to handle too much more, even if he was already aware that he'd begun to accept what she'd told him. The young man simply continued on through the hallway and let his words shape themselves neatly on the score of his mind.
"Look lady, I can't tell you what the world is aware of, but I will say the whenever you're given reason to believe you've been found out you probably have been," Kim shrugged as he walked and continued, he set his mind to a point that was much like tutoring.
Kim knew he wasn't going to get out of this without helping, if she was worried about intel related aid. This situation would normally end up in death for someone in his position. He knew too much and was either going to help or die.. and potentially both.
"History is spotted with cover-ups and blank sheets, which is likely to be the fault of your kind. If I were look at it as someone who knew what to look for the effect you have on this world has likely roused the attention of the people here. Though a war going on or not is something the outside groups won't notice. It's likely hostilities between you and whoever are known, but that you are on the border of war is an easy miss for humans that have nothing to do with it... like I was before you dragged my limp body back into the classroom," Kim shot a glare over his shoulder. He was the type of guy to avoid this very thing, being involved in such complications never bode well for anyone.
