After shooing off last nights conquest, Amelia headed towards the palace baths outdoors which was basically a small little lake that's fed from a waterfall. She took off her clothes and stepped into the the cool water. She could feel the early morning sun warming up her nude body and the surface of the water as it moved up into the sky. As she got deeper into the water to fully submerge her body, she could feel the waters depths cooling her body to the point where goose pimples appeared. She got deeper into the water where she position herself so she could float in the water lazily and relaxed. Her body started warming up again now that her body floated along the surface of the waters.
This, she felt, was the best part of her day. Relaxing in a morning bath, taking in the morning sun, and having the bath all to herself. Everyone knew that Amelia liked bathing alone in the morning, although she didn't mind if the Queen joined her or asked her to leave if she wanted to have the bath to herself. This is of course is the Queens bath but she allowed the rest of the family to use it as well. Occasionally the Queen would asked others if they would have a bath with her and it was a privilege to have such an invitation. Of course Amelia would like to ask people to join her in a bath but she wouldn't want to be caught doing things in the bath.
Amelia's body had floated back towards the edge of the lake where she had entered. She moved so that she was seated and started pouring the water over head with her hands to rinse herself off before stepping out of the water. A small breeze chilled her body for a second as she walked over to a pile of smooth rocks that were already warm from the sun to sun bathed. The sun had creep higher in the sky and it got warmer. A small flock of birds flew near the water's edge to drink and bathe. Amelia closed her eyes so she could focus on the birds as they sing to each other and to the waterfall. It was very delightful and soothing.
Waking up 15 minutes later, she got up and walked over to her clothes to pick them up. Her skin was dry so she put back on her clothes, her hair on the other hand was still a little damp but she didn't mind. She headed back towards the entrance of the palace so she could get something to eat. Upon reaching the entryway, the Queen was there with a smile, on her way out to take a bath.
