Before you get all excited, there aren't any special battle threads or anything going up right now in the current time stream of the RPG. Don't worry. You haven't missed anything important.
This thread is to announce that I will be putting up threads that contain battle stories from those who participated in the Kouma Sensou and the Great Purging--that's that name that I'm awarding to Chiyo's bombardment of the Fourth Layer of Hell.
If you haven't kept up with the plot chronologically, the Great Purging occurred before the Kouma Sensou.
These threads will not contain the stories of your characters--if you want to do that, you have a narrative about your character reminiscing, or actually write a short story about it or something.
This thread will be about the citizens who had to fight the person to person combat that usually comes with War. Those who fought to protect their homes and such.
I am establishing both Battles--though the Kouma Sensou was technically a War--for a reason. The Great Purging saw more suffering on the Hellion side, particularly in the Fourth Layer. The Kouma Sensou saw a lot more suffering on the Heavenly side. You can exercise your creativity with the two points of view.

- The Great Purging happened in Hell--I don't want to see any posts with Heaven as a location unless your point view is from a group starting in heaven and ending in Hell. Also, I require that you specify which Layer your attack or defending happened in.
- Each post will focus on the sights and experiences of ONE character/person. Switching viewpoints in the middle of a story because the character dies is annoying and confusing. If your focus character dies, end the story and begin a new one with someone who knew him as he died.
- PLEASE include pictures. It makes the posting more interesting. post pics of angels and demons about to fight, actually fighting, killing, and so on and so forth. Because these are minor civilians, they can look like whatever the pic you find says you look like.
- Don't be afraid to include main characters in the plot. Just don't make them the focus. If you want to have a character who was slain by Tsubasa or who was scared shitless by Rei, or Chiyo, or whomever, just try to write in character for that person. If you want, you can even PM Rei or I, or the person whom you want to make an appearance so that we can help you work out dialogue and such; although, I don't think that killing someone requires dialogue.
- One COMPLETE story per post. If that means that you have to save something on your computer at home to finish it before you post, then do it. I don't want to have a story say "to be continued" and then someone post a completely different story that leaves off in the same way. Then we get people searching to actually find the "pieces" of a story and fit them together, looking for names of characters that are only minor, etc. Just a lot of confusion.
- You don't have to create a new account for this; when you post in the thread it will be obvious that you're just depicting the story of someone else.
- If you have a character who grew up during the Kouma Sensou or actually was young when it happened, you can use this story in the February Contest that Rei's having.
