Tomoyo, wearing the robes befit of a King of Heaven, approached Ren's throne with the utmost reverance, long white hair flowing behind her. She had a serious look on her face as she approached her husband.
She smiled as she reached the throne. "Ren...I need to speak to you..." something was tugging on her heartstrings; since Chiyo's ressurection, he had felt this emptiness inside.
"Ren...I need to ask you..." she began, shyly.

Kenai raised an eyebrow and didn't stop to wonder how the Supreme King of Hell had made it this far into heaven without setting off any of the alarms on the lower levels.
She was a special case given her position as the Ikazuchi-ou's spouse and therefore technical Colonel of the sixth's armies, but really.
There was only so much protocall that one person could break.
From experience, she knew better than to direct any complaints she might have to Tomoyo herself and quickly excused herself from the throne room, but not before sending Ren a not so discreet glare that promised that the discussion would continue later.

Ren wasn't altogether sure which he was more startled by: Tomo, showing up in female form. donning heavenly robes and actually seeming shy about something; Or the glare that his General had just shot him. He honestly would have taken a shot to the head than get one those. They usually promised at least 3 hours of lecturing and yelling, following by icy civility for two weeks before he'd apologized to her to her satisfaction.
Sometimes, Ren wasn't altogether sure that didn't have two spouses...
"What is it? And why are you wearing that? Isn't Tsubarisu going to try and seige you if he finds out that you wore heavenly robes, not to mention were here in the first place? He can be a real bitch about that kind of thinh you know..."

Tomoyo was well aware of Tsubarisu's impending wrath, but wasn't concerned about it in the least; she knew that she could silence the Heavenly King easily.
Seeing the look of horror that crossed Kenai's face, and the glare that she sent to Ren, Tomoyo almost felt a pang of guilt--had her issue not been so pressing at the moment.
Ren himself seemed very surprised, after getting over his servant's glare, to see Tomoyo in that form.
However, the Yami-ou said nothing to that affect, bowing slightly and saying, without hesitation or pause,
"Ren...I...I want a child."

It took Ren several moments before he could process the words that had come from his spouses mouth.
When was finally able to, he was sure that he turned a particularly unappealing shade of mauve at the prospect.
"Y-you want what?!" Aware that his voice had gone about 4 registers higher than normal he cleared his throat before responding again. "Are you sure about this? I mean...with me?"

Tomoyo smiled, tears welling up in her eyes as she nodded.
She honestly did. She honestly wanted a child.
"...yes..." she said, then added, "I want to have your child..."
She was unsure of the Ikazuchi-ou's response, but she was so determined that she did feel the need to think about how he could possibly say no.
Leaning over Ren's throne so that her hair created a veil of sort over their faces, she said again, more solidly, "Yes. I want a child with you, Ren. I love you." This was said with conviction that she had never before heard in her own voice, and she was surprising even herself. She never thought she would ever see the day when she would be willing to carry a child herself, let alone have one. This was a very big deal to her, and she hoped that Ren would think of his response with just as much clarity of feeling.

Ren blinked in schock for a few minutes after his wife's statement.
He'd never considered having children of his own before but now that he thought about it....
Despite the fact the was well aware of the trouble that celestial kings had had with children of their own, Ren was definatly willing to try.
He knew that Tomo was a caring person and that despite the fact that all of her children had been taken away from her, she had always loved her children come hell or high water and still did.
Instead of replying right away, he pulled Tomo into his lap and kissed her.
"So...You know Rei's going to be flip out about this, right?"

Tomoyo was...speechless. As Ren pulled her into his lap and kissed her, she had no idea what to think. She had expected some opposition towards the idea for some reason, not the...supportive...response that she had gotten. Ren had been surprising him altogether lately, since the utter torture of Mizuki.
Perhaps Ren was becoming a different person?
But rather than thinking of all the reasons that Ren could be changing his attitude, she kissed him back feverishly, because that was the only way she could show him just how happy she was.
"...yeah...um...so...you tell her..."

Ren briefly considered backing out it when faced with the possibility of his sister's temper in full force, but decided that he didn't actually care.
There were honestly worst things in the worlds than Rei's temper...
There had to be....
The fact that he couldn't think of a single one at the moment didn't mean that he should totally dismiss his desire to have a family with Tomo--one that didn't include seventy-five other parents.
That being said, he resolved to pull together enough guts in order to inform his sister of the decision, and tried to remember that she couldn't technically hurt him due to the nature of their pacts but still....
Yamazaki Ren, the Ikazuchi-no-Ou, Yamazaki-souke, and Kataki no seirei, was absolutly scared shitless of his younger twin sister's temper and thanked any form of diety that still existed in the world that he was not often placed in it's sights.
"I will....Later...."

Tomoyo smiled, tears beginning to roll down her cheeks as she hugged Ren more tightly; even the threat of Rei's wrath didn't deter him from his decision, which meant that he was very serious about the matter. Tomoyo was serious as well, and she was very adamant about it. However, to dump the responsibility of telling Rei on him alone would be folly; this would be their child, and she would have her own say in this as well.
"...I'll go with you, Ren. I promise." If Ren could stand up to Rei's crackling temper, then she could as well.
[A/N: I'll start a post in Rei's layer... -_-']
