[A/N: This thread takes place AFTER both Tomoyo and Arashi's conversations in the Mortal Realm, threads labled "Standards" and "Lost and Found" and may contain references from both.]
It was not long after walking the barren, waste-filled streets of the Mortal Realm that Tomoyo finally settled on a place to slink around.
It had been some time since she had allowed herself to spend time in a club of any sort; preventing full-scale War between Heaven and Hell, dragging on fight until the Uprights were tired and retreated was not as easy as it sounded. She did not want both Realms to fight, and she had tried to her hardest to get to the uneasy peace that she had reached.
Here, where the Mortals partied until they were almost dead and still continued to exploit themselves.
And it was here, in the land of filth, waste, lust and passion that Tomoyou used to hold so dearly that she saw one, not like the others, sitting not too far away...

Arashi sat at the bar..shrouded in his cloak and leaning on the wall. He was relatively curious in the people as they moved about. He had found that imagining each of them in various parilous, or torturous situations was boundlessly entertaining.
His past few months of investigating and searching had kept him focused and appeased, but now his hatefully depressing nature was consuming him..so he sat, alone in his corner, watching perfectly healthy people die in his minds eye.

[A/N: bear with me; I like to use pictures when Tomoyo shapeshifts...] Tomoyo slipped into a corner of the tavern, her brightness dimming as she used her power over darkness to hide herself from the crowd. At the off chance of someone seeing her changing, she--for the second time that night--adjusted her natural powers of lies...so that no Mortal--even this creature sitting alone who was so different--would see her. That there she made her transformation. Emerging from her secluded corner just as quickly as she had hidden herself, she walked calmly up to the bar, ignoring the stares that she got from those she passed, and ordered whatever the strongest thing on the menu was. "...I'm not allowed to sell these to chicks who can't hold their liquor," the bartender said, smirking smugly. Imagine his surprise when Tomoyo downed the large bottle in twenty seconds, following it up with the small, small shot that he had served her to prove his point. The tavern fell quiet as she burped, and then everything went back to normal; the keeper gave her the drink on the house. And after all of this commotion, she stood--the men in the room obviously amazed that she could still stand--and walked to the stranger that had intrigued her earlier. She made sure, through magical means, that he couldn't hear her approach, and she bent to his ear, whispering sensually, "Where are you from, big boy?"

Arashi flinched slightly from the voice..finding it strange he hadn't noticed her...maybe he was too into his imagination. He caught a glimpse at her by glancing sideways, and quickly decided she wasn't a threat. He spoke curtly, he hadn't planned on meeting anyone..and wasn't in the state of mind to change his plans..
"I'm sure it doesn't matter.."
He turned his attention back on his game.

Tomoyo did not break her sensual guise, leaning forward and saying, "Are you ignoring me?" with a smile.
As she said this, she took the opportunity to place a hand on his shoulder, sending a jolt of magic through his veins when she spoke to him.
She was sure that he wouldn't ignore her now; and if he chose to continue doing so...she would just have to kill him. It didn't really make a difference to Tomoyo--or anyone else, she guessed--if he lived or died.
Her smile growing wider, she began to feel a bit more like the Yami-ou again, powerful and commanding and demanding of all who knew her. For a moment, her depression lifted; there wasn't anything that could get her down...

Her touched arouse a large amount of annoyence..and as he felt the heat of his body rise he tried to find something to focus himself...anything...he eventually turned to the woman...having noticed the strange feeling of her touch...he now considered her interesting...not a threat yet..but interesting.
"Of course I'm not ignoring you...I'm sorry if I come off as a bit rude"
He restrained the anger in his voice and hoped her response wouldn't fuel any further distress in him...he also started to feel as if the little zap had been a form of warning...

For the benefit of this Stranger's life, Tomoyo decided that she wasn't hearing a bite of annoyance in his voice as he addressed her.
As he told her specifically that he wasn't ignoring him, she walked around him, taking a chair across from him at the small, square-shaped table that had been in front of him.
"Hello, stranger," she said, greeting him for the second time and hoping that he would give the right answer this time around.

He dropped his hood and smiled..his head tilted slightly to the side. He smiled to hide the fact that he was somehow worried..he didn't feel as confident in his safety..
"Hello..my name is Mishiranu Arashi. a pleasure to meet you"

Tomoyo, still feeling cocky, now stood up from the chair, bowing.
"And I am the illustrious Sanada Tomoyo, also known as Tomo; I am the King of Hell..."
Winking, she stood upright again and held her hand out for a shake. It was obvious that he was to take it. He was still...of interest to her. Perhaps he was someone whom she could ask a favor of later...
"...would you like a drink on me?"

Arashi was deeply shaken...he was able to hide that by bowing as he stood and continuing the radiant smile that he often used to keep his appearance sane. He bowed respectfully and waved took her hand in his..pressing his lips just barely to the back of her hand before releasing it.
Then it is a greater pleasure then I had imagined
He had somehow kept his voice and demeanor solid..though he was rattled inside..it didn't help that it was already easy to get him on edge, but randomly meeting the King of hell in a club was far beyond his limits of control..the only reason he hadn't lost control was his fear of the woman before him, and that he quite understood his level of mortality.
and yes, I would love a drink
this last bit was said in a slightly nervous tone..he would be embarrassed to tell her that..as a half mortal of seventeen...he couldn't drink.

Knowing that it was too soon to pull her usual trick of summoning her own glass of wine for the boy--he would probably think it was poisoned--Tomoyo snapped her fingers, calling loudly, "Avalon? A windtini--raspberry if you will--for me, and...something tasty for the boy please...?"
She could feel the boy lying to himself, telling himself that everything was going t be okay when he really felt that things were not quite going in the direction that she wanted.
Tomoyo was having a bit of fun. Usually she was well known these days, and she hadn't had the need to introduce herself so majestically in a while. Smiling wickedly, she waited for her sevant to fetch their drink.
In a corner of the room, she could see her fair servant stir to her whim.

"Avalon? A windtini--raspberry if you will--for me, and...something tasty for the boy please...?"
His Mistress's voice rang in his ears and he smiled slightly; he did not like this place, and he was pleased to do anything that would take him away from this strange crowd of drunken Mortals.
Picking up a large crate at his feet, he made his way across the room to his Mistress, depositing the crate with a large 'Thump' onto the table. Opening it, he pulled out a bottle shaped like a flurry of wind; straight at the top but curved into tails of a breeze at the bottom. He had always wondered how Yomi manufactured these things.
This bottle, like all the others, was clear; the liquid inside was a dark, murky pink--almost blood, he would say. This was his Mistress's favorite flavor, so she must have been in a jovial mood--a mood that she had not been in for quite some time.
Looking at the young man before him, he felt a pang of jealousy; why should this stranger sup with his Mistress and grant her a happiness she had not seen in such a long time? Just who was he to have this right?
Pouring his Mistress's glass--a large martini glass--which he had held in a case in the crate, he removed a black colored umbrella from his pocket--his Mistress's color brand from Yomi--and inserted it into the glass, bowing as he handed it to her.
Next, he provided the stranger--the young sir--with a bottle of something less potent: a bottle of flavored beer.
"Free of charge," Avalon said wryly to the boy, "without age restriction."
He then turned back to his Mistress, smiling.

Strangely he was set slightly at ease by her kindness..which was just as swiftly offset by the feeling he got from the eyes of her servant.Admittedly he was rather used to strange things happening..but it was from a mortal standpoint.. He wasn't so used to so much at once but he struggled to take things in stride..the false smile wavering slightly as he battled himself calm.
"Thank you.." he paused as he took the drink from Avalon..sensing that he not all too welcome but ignoring it.He nodded to him and faced Tomoyo.
"shall we toast..to such a very interesting meeting?"

Tomoyo actually blushed.
"Of course!!" Extending her glass forward, her smile grew brighter. "He's so cute, isn't he Avalon?? I just want to take him home and buy him clothes and feed him and take care of him and train him--Oh, Avalon, can we keep him? Please??"
The thought was random, but it was a prospect that Tomoyo was seriously considering.

Avalon tried hard not to curl his lip in disgust. Not as this stranger in particular, but at his Mistress's tendency to take in strays. Like Exodus, Ren--who in the beginning had indeed been considered a stray by his Mistress--not to mention the other various Mortal creatures and beings...
But there was only one answer to Tomoyo's question, and he knew it.
"Tomoyo, you can do whatever you wish..."
At this point, he removed two more bottles of windtini, sure that Tomoyo would want more, and then closed the crate, hauling it off back to his corner. He would rather be there than with the new resident of the castle...which he would be, because Avalon was sure that he wouldn't be foolish enough to deny Tomoyo her desires...

Arashi's mind cleared and he felt at ease..her demeanor calmed him now. And as he touched his glass to hers, his logic found itself again. Waiting for her to raise her glass to her lips he thought that he may need such a trainer...even with what he'd accomplished so far...he needed to better understand the chaos in himself..and also. His father was some form of demon. She may be someone he would need dearly in the future. He takes a sip of the beer and smiles, speaking with light laughter in his voice.
"Thank you for your compliments..but please..no teasing..."

Tomoyo fluttered her eyes playfully and continued to go on in her childish manner.
"I'm not teasing!! You are cute!! I'll take care of you forever and ever..."
she downed her glass, poured another, downed it as well, and decided to chuck her glass and drink straight from the bottle. She kept her composure, however.
"I think you would like my house. You can have aaaaaanything you want..."

"are you serious?"
His youth caught up with him at this point..anything...and this was coming from a REALLY able provider..the king of hell was sure to be able to give him anything..he wasn't to good at controlling himself outside of the usual stability holding..and his childish wants pilled up...until his logic swept it away.
"you couldn't be..I mean..are..would I even..is it possibl.."
unable to form any coherent objection he gave in and asked something else.
"where do you live..."

Rosey wanted something hard to drink. She would rather go back to the hills of Scotland where the Sidhe (shee, type of faerie, look it up) hang out and make their own version of scotch which was harder. But she really didn't want to be bother with them, they would have bothered her about why she left the faerie realm.
She walked up to the bar and ordered a Scotch. And then another one after she quickly down the first one and then another one. She was about to quickly down the scotch in her hand when she notice the Hell King in the bar. She knew it was her because she could feel her aura radiating with power which she felt before she turned into panther and took off with the other Hell King.
But just to be sure it was her, she walked up to her and asked, "Are you that Hell King that ruined that fight in the Fourth Layer in Hell? I was pissed about that. The fight just started to get good and you ruined it." She downed the scotch in her hand and threw the shot glass over her shoulder hitting some random person who was too drunk to realized where it came from and started yelling at a nearby person. "Man the scotches here suck ass."
She noticed the young guy the Hell King was talking to. "Are you that guy that was fighting down there in Hell? No you can't be, you look a little too young. Too young to even be in here."

Arashi glared at the stranger...he remembered her from somewhere..but at the moment he didn't care. She was annoying and her attitude was far too disrespectful. He felt his blood pulse viciously but, because of the way he was meeting people recently..he decided it wise to wait a moment..to properly gage his new focus.Ignoring her questions..he smiled kindly again..his radiant smile hiding anger instead of uneasiness this time.
"Nice to meet you..My name is Mishiranu Arashi. And you are?"
