"So far..I know that I had a family up until about a year or so ago..then something happened...I only remember the dreams..some..demon....it attacked me and razed everything..I guess it left me alive..but after that I woke up in a ditch near Lanzhou, China. I lived there for a while with an old merchant and his wife and kids..they were kind to me and treated me well so I was there..until...until I.."
he paused..Arashi was unsure if he should go on any further..he didn't like what he'd done..he stopped at that and debated it to himself...his smile left his face while he pondered...making him look grim...

"Dunt look so glum luv. Hows about a sip, it'll make you happy in no time." Rosey took a sip before trying to hand the bottle to Arashi. However she was laughing while handing it to him and it dropped causing the bottle to shattered and the floor was covered in alcohol. Her hair turned from its dark brown color to a red and her wings became visible for a second.
"NOOOOOO!!!!!" Everyone stopped what they were doing to look but turned around back around and continued what they were doing when they saw that it was just some drunk that spilled their alcohol. None of the mortals notice that her hair had changed its color or her wings when they appeared for that brief moment.

Arashi jumped and stared at Rosey. He was at a loss..
"ummm..what was..That?''
he kept watching to see if her wings would reappear. Was that really what he saw?..That was definitely not human...but what was it?
"umm..Tomoyo...she's not human..what is she???"

Apparently, the Mortals were used to disturbances like the one that Rosey had caused, and they were so drunken to the point that they didn't even notice her momentary showing of wings. Normally, Tomoyo would be concerned about her scaring them, their well-being and whatnot, but because none of them seemed to care, she didn't really see the point.
Even though Avalon was in the corner, Tomoyo did not call him over for another glass of Windtini.
But she turned her attention to Arashi's broken tale; he mentioned a demon who razed his home at one point, and that didn't fall too keen on Tomoyo's ears; she was usually aware of the workings of most of her demons, and it wasn't a usualy occurence to "raze" anything without reason...
But then again, there were a lot of things going on under her nose; many Djinn had been scattered and angry after Shoko's attack on their layer...
"I might be able to solve that mystery for you as well," she said seriously, taking a small sip of the last bottle of her raspberry Windtini. "As King of Hell, this is actually a bit of my business, if you don't mind me prying."
And offhandedly, as though it was an unimportant detail, she added for Arashi, "She's a Faerie. Didn't know?"

Rosey wanted to cry. She saw Tomo sipping away at the last bottle, "Could I have a sip please." She leaned on the table on her side with her hand out and her red hair draping across the table top. "I want some more of whatever-you-call-it. Please." She wanted some more just to feel it warm her body even though the feeling was vanishing was she was getting drunk. Soon she would be too drunk to feel anything and probably do something stupid and vaguely remember it.
She totally wasn't paying attention to the information that she said about her being a Faerie. If she did she would have been mad for giving away such information to a mortal.

Tomoyo handed her the bottle, knowing that Rosey would want more than just a simple sip. About...three, including this one. Three was how many bottles Tomoyo had given the Faerie, or somewhere thereabouts; She was surprised about how many the Fae had actually finished drinking--this was going to be her last one, no doubt.
However, she didn't have Avalon bring her more; it was too much of a hassle, and why bother if Rosey was going to take it anyway?

Arashi smiled..her concern was noted. Although he wasn't sure it was for him or the fact that a demon was running unchecked. He decided to entrust her with his history...as far as he knew it..
"I killed the family I was living with. I had a nightmare..a man ..then light and a boiling pain. Then when I woke up..I wasn't..I wasn't me. My nails were long and sharp and my teeth were all fangs. I couldn't stop myself..they tried to calm me..so I ate them."
He grimaced at the memory..then..to stop the surge of self loathing he returned to his radiant grin before continueing..
"before the nightmare I'd had blackouts where I'd wake up in ravaged and bloody mess. It always happened when
I was aggravated beyond my control. After the nightmare they happened more often..exept I've remained conscious during every transformation..felt the tearing flesh..tasted the blood..I had no way to stop..untill I found something to focus on..and that's when I searched for Mr. Shadow...I've found ways to control my emotions more..but nothing that really works...that about covers it"
he stopped and watched for Tomoyo's response..wondering if it would phase her in the least...surely she'd heard of stories like this before...?

This was strange; the only thing Tomoyo had ever heard of this bad were things that she had actually done herself, and she knew that none of them included what he had described. It appeared that he was a half-breed; caught in the middle, and he was probably some ghastly mixture of some creature and another of his subjects.
Deciding not to make any judgements about what his story may or may not have been, Tomoyo just listened. This sounded like something that bothered him deeply. So she showed no change of expression for the duration of his story, even though Arashi himself had frowned.
All that Tomoyo commented was the last bit. "Shadow can barely control his own emotions. He's a bad, bad example for you if your powers are emotion based..."

Rosey was glad to recieve the bottle and finished off whatever amount remained in the bottle. She smiled and hugged herself after drinking the bottle.
Strangely though she had heard of similar stories around the fae villages when people would tell stories about their travels through the various realms. She thought they were just exagerrated stories but after tonight these stories were true. But she dismissed it as the alcohol kicking in. "I tink I could be just pissed drunk but.... did you just say what you just say? Kid, are you tryin' to pull our leg? If you are, I'll cut you down dammit." She got in his face when she asked the second question and frowned when she the last sentence.

Arashi nodded in agreement with Tomoyo..he'd felt inner conflict in Shadow.He understood the conflicts of others having so many himself. He was hurt however by the statement made by Rosey..this did not register in his expression though as his smile remained unfaltered..however casual it was.
"I have no reason to lie to people that have power to take my life.I believe that would be considered foolish by most."
He smiled more..but now his smile seemed forced..he was obviously not too comfortable at his next thoughts.
"if my past year has been so bad...I wonder what else might pop up in my memories.."

Tomoyo, once again, didn't make any comment on what Arashi said; but she felt like the Pied Piper as she said, "We'll see what happens when you get to my place. If there's s demon involved, I'll figure it out..."

Arashi looks up at Tomoyo endearingly and for the first time in a long time he flashed a genuine smile..it dazzled charmingly even compared to his already radiant fake one.
"Thank you Tomoyo-sama. I would be happy to accompany you..and repay you in any way you wish of me for your kindness"
He was wondering to himself where his words came from..they spilled out so naturally as he bowed his head to her. He wasn't used to bowing so subserviently either. But he just felt it natural..almost instinctual.

Tomoyo wasn't expecting the humbleness that Arashi displayed towards her. Taken aback, there wasn't anything of regal persuasion she could think of to do; all she could bring her self to was patting him on the head. He wasn't one of her subjects, and she hadn't singled him out as a servant yet; no matter what she had been taught during her time in Heaven, having this Human bow to her as an surpreme ruler of sort was just...strange.
"Ah...I'm glad you're grateful...now...um...just let me know when you're ready to...ah...leave."

Shaking off the strange sensation that had caused him to act so strangely he stood straight again..his smile still bright and fully real.He shakes himself again..wondering what came over him.
"I'm ready whenever you are Tomoyo-sa..chan"
Arashi caught himself before he gave her too formal a suffix..he had never used that word so naturally..especially to someone he didn't intend to use in some fashion.

Tomoyo threw her hands up in the air; Arashi's smile was contagious. "chan, kun, it's all the same to me," she said with a mischievous giggle. "It doesn't matter. I suppose that we should leave now..." she paused. "But Rosey..."

"Well if you're leaving with alda gud alcohol then I shud be weaving too." Rosey tried getting up but stumbled a little and fell. "Ah fuk this, I'll go under table."
Rosey crawled under the table with some difficulty and out of sight, and with a flash she disappeared.
