Setsuna had been in Heaven preparing for this eminent war. The oracles and seers had prophesied this event for too long. She wondered when, exactly, it would come and how great the devastation would be. She had moved her training from three to five times a week, to increase her strenght, power, and agality. Her layer was put in order; the army trained, the citizens stocked goods, and her officials gather the necessary information. She even put off her long overdue wedding and made sure her daughter had two bodyguards everywhere she went. But now, it was just too much. She didn't have the answers she wanted from the Elders. Setsuna left Heaven for Earth. Perhaps, the land of the mortals (a place where had not been in a long time) could bring her peace. She left quietly in the night without a word to anyone except her vice commander, daughter, fiance, and head of military. She would be back, eventually. Setsuna went down to one of her favorite places, France. She sat in a cafe disguised (but not lacking necessary protection), gazing at La tour d'Effiel...  |

Rosey was getting bored sitting around her apartment so she started traveling throughout the Mortal Realm to see what the Humans have done to this Realm. She had just got done being yelled at some guy who she didn't understand at another cafe not too far from this one. All she wanted was to try a croissant and this guy starts yelling at her in French. What the fuck? She was so angry that her wings started fidgeting about. She tried her best to keep them concealed in her aura, she didn't want any one to suspect her of not being human.
...Well, she did kind of just reached for one and starting chomping away...
She entered the cafe and went straight to the counter "I want this!" She pointed towards a picture of croissants piled up on top of each other. The guy saw what she was looking at and went to go get some. When came back, he handed her a bag with a couple in it and said something to her. She didn't understand but she figured that he either asked her if she wanted something else or was telling her how much it was. She reached into her pocket and pulled out some gold coins. The Queen had gave her some before she left the Fae Realm and told her that the mortals would think its their currency.
She then skipped with her feet barely touching the ground to a small table in the far side of the cafe and happily ate away at the fluffy croissants that were still a bit warm and soft.

Setsuna looked up from her laptop (working while on vacation), at young woman entering the cafe trying to motion to the serveur what she wanted. She chuckled to herself, then went back to work.
She looked up at the young woman again...there was just something about her...
"Pardon-moi, mademoiselle. Pouvez-vous un autre boisson?" he asked, disrupting her thoughts, "Something else to drink?"
She looked over at him, "Un the avec du sucre, s'il vous plait?...Tea with surgar, please?"
"Ben sur." the serveur replied, "Of course"
Setsuna turned her attention back towards the young woman...

Rosey was just eating away at the croissants, kicking her feet happily like a child. She paid no attention no one in the cafe. She was in her own little world. A happy little world. A happy little world full of tasty croissants.
That was until she ran out.
She got up, went to the counter again and pointed to the picture again. She wanted something to drink too. She noticed the woman with the long hair drinking tea. "I want what she wants." She said pointing towards the tea that the lady had and the making drinking like motion with her other hand. While the man went to get what she wanted, she looked back and noticed that the lady had been looking at her. Something was different about the lady but she shrugged it off and her focused her attention on the guy giving her order. She paid him once again with the Faerie currency and once again the guy was fooled by the fae magic.
She happily skipped towards her seat again and began to try to sip some of tea. It was too hot for her so she started eating her croissants while the tea cooled. Once again she was in her own little happy world.

Setsuna looked back towards her laptop, but couldn't help but notice the woman...she did a little magic. Setsuna pondered a bit, some humans did have a higher awareness of others worlds and magic, but in her years of life, she noticed human magic was lessening.
Setsuna motioned for the serveur. He came. "Monsieur, Savez-vous la dame?...Do you know that woman?" she asked pointing.
"Je regrette, medamoiselle. Je ne sais pas la dame...I'm sorry miss. I do not know the woman."
"Elle mange beaucoup." setsuna replied in all seriousness, "she eats a lot."
The serveur laughed.
"Merci, monsieur." He went back to his post behind the desk.
Setsuna got up and went over to the woman.
"Bonjour." she extended her hand.

Rosey stopped in mid bite and saw a hand out reached towards her and kinda jumped. She didn't noticed the lady approaching her so she was surprised by her sudden presence in front of her. She didn't know what to say so just waved nervously and continued eating.

"Oh well there isn't anything different over here than over there or anything special here but I guess you can." Rosey took a sip of her tea but glanced over to her. There was definitely something about this chick that wasn't normal but she couldn't quite tell what it was. She could sense something in her aura, it started to make her nervous. She could feel her wings fidget nervously within her own aura and she tried her best to keep them from being visible outside her aura.
She didn't started to think that it was one of those Humans that knew something about magic. Maybe thats why I could sense something about her thats strange. I hope she can't see my aura. She started to get really nervous she didn't want any of the mortals to know that she wasn't of them. Oh wait if she could see my aura she would just see that its shaped funny. She let out a small sigh of relief and started eating away at her croissants.

Setsuna could tell her presence was making the young woman uncomfortable.
Why?
Most-likely because a weird French person just walked up and sat down.
"Well," Setsuna concluded, "Nice to meet you." She went back to her table.
Setsuna never had the ability to read auras, so could not definately tell if the woman was human or something more (If only her daughter was there). But Setsuna had a feeling, that she was not human at all. She judged enough souls to tell when one wasn't human.
Setsuna instead tried to conger up her own white magic, but she could not reach it.
"L'addition, s'il vous plait...Check please." She called to the serveur. He came quickly, giving her the bill. Setsuna laid 50 euros on the table, pack up and went outside.

That was weird. She had left her table before she could say anything. Rosey started to wonder if she made the lady nervous. Maybe she knew I wasn't Human. She gasped. She started wondering if she left to tell other Humans or maybe to get them together to exterminate her.
She woofed down the last remaining croissant and got up knocking the table over and the tea that was on top of it. When she got outside she had her sword which seemed to have appeared out of no where. Placing the tip of the blade to the small of her back she yelled at her, "Who the hell are you and where do you think you're going?" Her yelling and the fact that she had a sword pointing at someone started to make the people nearby nervous but she wasn't aware of that. She just wanted to make sure that this lady here wouldn't try to go get her buddies to go after her. Better safe than sorry.

Setsuna stopped when she felt a sword point into her back. She looked around to see the Parsians becoming increasingly nervous.
So she has finally come out...
Setsuna disgused as the French girl said, "No need to kill me, besides you're causing a scene." She laughed a bit to herself, "Why are you so nervous? To attempt a slaughter on someone you don't know...very, interesting."
Setsuna thought to herself, that confirms it, this is no mere human.

"Fine then we shall have our 'talk' else where. Perhaps in a alley of my choosing." Rosey lowered her sword but still held it firmly in her hand. "How about the alley behind the cafe? You lead the way" She pushed her to tell her to walk. "Don't make any rash moves or you'll be cut down."

Setsuna rolled her eyes. "Why don't we go over there instead?" She pointed to a small 'jarden des fleurs' across the street. "It really is peaceful this time of year. A peaceful place, for a peaceful outcome in conversation."
With that Setsuna headed across the street.

Rosey quickly ran in front of her this time drawing her sword up nearly to her face. "Peaceful? Are you trying to trick me? Are you trying to lead me to a place where you can ambush me?"
She seems kind of relax for a person who just had a sword to their back. She probably isn't a typical human. But then again she could have been calm just so that she could get to go to where she wants to ambush me.
"You will turn around and go to where I want you to go or I'll end it here."

"Trust me, girl" Setsuna said with a hint of a condescending tone, "We will go to the peaceful garden, or you will regreat ever putting you're sword to my back."
"Why would I go where you indicated, YOU could ambush me!...I think not. To the garden or else we could stand right here! I don't mind, but are you sure you want to reveal who you really are to all of these humans"

"What about you? You aren't a mere human either. Wouldn't attacking me also reveal who you are?" Rosey never moved from her stance. It looks as though both females weren't going to go to the others suggested place. It was as if they were in a stalemate. Rosey just stood there looking coldly into the lady's eye, looking for any hidden signs of an attack. It was something she had learned as she rose to the ranks to Commander in the Fae army.

"There is just something about you that doesn't seem right, and the fact that you have some idea that i'm not human when I haven't yet to reveal a hint of not being a human." Rosey narrowed her eyes at her yet she still didn't move. She started to think about the past moments leading up to this moment.
I haven"t done anything that would suggest that I wasn't human so how would she know that I wasn't. This really bothered Rosey, she had done everything to conceal her true self, even as far darkening her hair. Unless she saw that I was paying the guy at the cafe Fae money. All she could do was accept the fact that she had slipped up to herself. She would have to be careful in the future.

Ahhhh, and there it was Setsuna's own white magic spring forth; she used it to catch the last bid of the woman's thoughts...
'I will have to be careful in the future', the woman thought; indeed she would.
"So, are we going...? Or perhaps not? But I for one, am here to relax..." Setsuna continued back across the street and entered the le petit jardin.

Rosey started to run after her but she realized that it might not be a good thing when she reached the other side of the street.
If indeed she was trying to lure me into a trap, it would be stupid to follow her.
She sheathed her sword and watched as she went into the garden. It did look quite peaceful and nice but that too could also be deceitful. She wasn't going to fool heartedly pursue the women, instead she started to walk down the street.
I wonder whats in Rome at this time of the year? She continued to walk down the semi-busy street until she got to a narrow street that had one or two people busy doing whatever they were doing and was able to disappear without anyone noticing it.
