Name: Cerberus
Age: Twice ten and nine orbits of Sol

Character Information
Name(Meaning): Hatulan (“judge”) Pagtimbangin (“balance”) Sarili (“self/oneself”)
Age (generation): Hatulan was born with the blessing and the curse of a full and complete sense of self; he notices the march of time as Mortals know it, but does not mark its passing as they do. In mortal chronology, it has been approximately half a millennium since his birth.
Lineage: Of draconic lineage that extends to the end of sane thought.
Relatives: Panginoon ng Kapalaran y Dalamhati (“Lord of Fate and Sorrows,” father; dragon)
Maunawaang-lubos ng Busilak y Heilo (“Mistress of Snow and Ice,” mother; dragon)
Ranks/Titles: Hatulan bears no titles of worth, as Mortal ranks mean nothing to him. However, there are those who assume his first name is his rank and mistakenly defer to him in matters requiring "judgement."
Realm: Hatulan spends most of his time in the Mortal Realm, but not for sentimental reasons; he does not feel bound to remain in the Realm he was born into.
Pacts: None of Mortal, Celestial nor Draconic consequence. (User: Air element)
Special Abilities: During his time in the Mortal Realm, under a Mortal guise, Hatulan has learned to be proficient in several simple, martial weapons; he considers their use beneath him, as his natural abilities are far superior, and regards his practice with them as a hobby.
__In his human form, Hatulan exhibits strength and constitution greater than one would assume, based on his appearance.
In his dragon form, he is possessed of greater strength, though his most powerful physical blows come from swings of his massive tail.
If Hatulan so chooses, he might use a breath attack that comes in the form of a hurricane gust of wind; he may currently knock down multiple structures of simple construction, but time promises this attack to only get stronger as Hatulan ages.
__He rarely finds need to use such destructive force on a daily basis and will only use it if faced with an opponent of similar or greater power to his own.
__Beyond his enhanced attributes, he has the standard ability to regenerate and transform.
__Limited flight capability, granted by element (providing lift) and lineage (wings). Hatulan would prefer not to fly while among humans, however, as it would require disclosing his Draconic nature (by changing into his dragon form).
Allegience: None of Mortal, Celestial nor Draconic consequence.
Race: Draconic
Birthdate: Hatulan is aware of the exact moment of his conception, but considers such information to be of little value. However, he soon discovered that humans tend to ask about such things, so in the Mortal Realm, he learned of the closest approximation to when his birthdate would be, for the purposes of scheduling minor celebrations to it. He refuses to disclose his actual age to Mortals, and only tells Celestials and Dragonkin when directly asked.
Birthplace: the Draconic Realm
Sexuality: Hatulan has yet to find another soul worthy of his attentions in the manner that Mortals devote themselves to another. Such relationships did not hold any appeal to him when he first witnessed them, but over time he has grown to appreciate their worth.
Significant Other: None (O, for a dragon such as Hatulan to fall madly in love for the first sentient being he sees! Such would be folly on a most incredible scale!)
Personality: If he is doing anything in the Mortal Realm, Hatulan is most often found calmly and quietly watching; villagers going about their business, weapons training, et cetera. Most interpret his pensive stares as being judgemental of the scenes playing out before him; instead, he is merely drinking in all the details; the basket with a flaw in the weave which leaves a thin trail of rice behind the peasant, or the imperfection of a swing which leads to overexertion from the swordsman.
__In action, Hatulan is careful and deliberate, which leads many to think he is slow or sluggish. Hatulan rarely engages others in conversation, unless he finds them or their story to be interesting, though how he determines this from one human to the next can be perplexing to the casual observer.
History: Knowing of the Mortal Realm upon his birth, but not having experienced it firsthand, Hatulan very simply decided to visit. He was overwhelmed by the initial rush of sensory overload and spent his time smelling every scent, savoring every sight. When he happened upon some villagers, he approached in a rapid fashion, the inexperienced dragon not realizing the effect his natural appearance had on them.
__In short order, a dragon hunter was summoned and confronted Hatulan in the forest. Now understanding his situation, Hatulan offered his apologies, but the dragon hunter only had eyes for slaying him; unable to reason with the (to Hatulan) suicidal man, the dragon killed him.
__In the aftermath, Hatulan claimed the dragon hunter's armor, weapons and after much thought, crafted a human image for himself, leaving the forest by another way and further exploring the Mortal Realm.
__After a few days, and several challenges by people who once knew the man who wore the equipment before him, Hatulan gained minor fame as an "excellent swordsman," though in most instances, his sword broke from his strikes, as he learned to lessen the power of his strikes so as not to kill outright, and then taking the sword of the vanquished. In the same fashion, as he was unable to repair the damage done to the original armor, Hatulan would salvage the intact pieces of the challenger's armor. Soon, the challenges ceased, as his equipment no longer resembled that of the dragon hunter.
__In time, having made himself known (more from action than anything else), Hatulan was asked to remain at the home of a noble, whose lands he was passing through. First a guest, Hatulan was invited to join the noble's retinue and soon came to enjoy the new experiences in their company, and the noble's extensive library.
__Recently, Hatulan has come into the acquaintaince of a Fae named Rosey and a deer shiki youkai named Yoki. AS their traveling companion, Hatulan continues to grow as an individual, and expand his knowledge of, and capability for, social interaction.
__While in Rosey and Yoki's company, Hatulan met Draco once again, and later entered the Path of Gates to find something important to Rosey; not knowing Rosey's agenda, Hatulan was hurt when he saw her extensive burns and brought her to the Fae Queen Na'ame, at Yoki's urging.
__Hatulan was gladdened by Na'ame's prompt healing of Rosey's wounds and asked for the queen's permission to continue travelling with Rosey, and this wish was granted him.
__Later, the trio encountered Kanjin Taiyou during a break in the Mortal Realm (modern era), where Taiyou instigated a conflagration which resulted in widespread damage to a municipal park area; no one was injured and Yoki did her best to assist the park denizens in correcting the damage.
__Afterwards, the three companions continued on to Heaven, where Hatulan was permitted by Ha-ou Gin to remain, but not in a military nor diplomatic capacity, merely as an observer to their combat preparations. In addition, he was hit upon by the flirty Amelia and apologized to by her more upstanding sister, Mei.
Strengths: Stronger than the strongest man, with more endurance than the highest-climbing mountaineer, tougher than a battle-hardened veteran, Hatulan is keenly aware that compared to humans, he is more powerful, without doubt. However, he is also aware that his own capabilities have limits, that he has weaknesses.
__He can take much punishment, but the few men he has fought were skilled fighters and though Hatulan is not as debilitated by pain as humans are, he does feel it and it is an intensely disagreeable sensation.
Weaknesses: If Hatulan has an insurmountable weakness, it is in his perception of time. Due to his Draconic longevity, he does not feel compelled to make constructive use of his time (as mentioned before, often spending his time just watching).
__If he is not involved in weapon practice or reading, Hatulan will most often walk aimlessly around the countryside, his gaze attracted to whatever may strike his fancy.
__In combat, this is a disastrous liability, as there’s no telling what might suddenly cause the dragon to lose his focus; on the other hand, there’s no telling if what draws his attention might provide its own benefits…
__A minor weakness is that Hatulan would prefer not to reveal his Draconic form to humans; if forced to do so, he would find it… awkward.
Most honorable deed: Where upon Hatulan entered the Mortal Realm and encountered his first Dragon Hunter, he had refused to fight the man, despite his obvious intent to kill him.
Most dishonorable deed: Hatulan had not wanted to kill, but the Dragon Hunters' resolve forced his hand; nowadays, he refuses to even draw the sword of his human guise, in order to forestall bloodshed.
Likes: …what he sees and would like to see more. Hatulan likes looking at things, touching things, experiencing things. He might consider Mortals beneath him, but he is intensely interested in the many facets of their existence. For example, the investment of time and energy into human constructions, such as sculpture, engineering, swordsmithing.
__Most fascinating to Hatulan is a well-crafted lie.
Dislikes: ...when a lie falls apart, a story fails to make a point or a flawed sword shatters; Hatulan abhors flawed creations.
Aspirations: To see more, feel more…
Appearence: Hatulan has a medium height and build, with a face that is handsome in an everyday sort of way. If not for his mismatched armor, he'd hardly be known at all to others.
Dark hair and eyes.
__In his natural state, Hatulan resembles a large, long, white snake or eel, with the head of a crocodile at the end of a long neck. His body widens somewhat where his powerful arms and legs join his torso and pelvis. Set behind his arms, and a bit lower along his back, are a pair of broad, leathery wings that - unlike the rest of his body - feel like silk to the touch.
__For his size in this form, Hatulan weighs only two-thirds as much, which - combined with his slow nature - causes some misconceptions about his speed.
__His thick tail makes for almost half his total body length and is capable of powerful, quick strikes and limited use as an appendage (when Hatulan first came to the Mortal Realm, as he would observe the things around him, he would often rest his head upon his tail, as a human would rest their chin in the palm of their hand); residing among humans as one of them precludes this habit.
__Hatulan's coloring in his Draconic form is white, with a hint of blue-gray at the edge of his scales, allowing him to blend with a large enough cloud when aloft; useful camouflage for when he sleeps.
