Raised by his mother Maia, he led a sheltered life of chores and helping his mother run their tavern, becoming quite the accomplished chef. His life would change when his mother would send him to the home of the Regent of Terra, to send a message to her old friend Puck. There he found a conch shaped flute, which he returned to its owner the son of the Regent, Peteo, forming a friendship that has lasted many years. Now he spends his days cooking and busing at the tavern, while receiving small amounts of sword training from Peteo. He seeks to escape his sheltered life and see the world.
