Yancha sat behind his desk, counting cash and checking his calender. He'd been to busy to go to Migoto's concert but the little girl had been healed in advance. He wanted to please Tony a bit, it was nice to see him smile. Yancha had laughed as the parents attempted to serve him court papers for malpractice. They claimed he had gone against the law by healing their daughter. Yancha gave them nothing, he told them simply, the money was paid. That was the contract he held with every patient. You get what is paid for, that doesn't mean you have to pay. He smiled and waved in his new overpaid nurse. He fired the old one because of her flirting with Tony.
"It took you long enough..."
The nurse frowned and set down his tea tray and poured him a cup. She rose and bowed herself out of the office.
"That's the forth hideous female I've fired this month..maybe the new one'll last out a pay period..."
He sipped the tea and spit it out quickly, irritated he cleaned it and went back to what he was doing.

[Takes places after Sta Bene post]
Walking past the distressed the nurse, Migoto stopped to look at her, offering a smile and wink to brighten her day,"Tony loves you baby, remember that..." Migoto said smoothly. Her smile was acceptance enough as he walked past her into Yancha's office. "Hey Doc, got the money to pay for Lizzy's treatment. Didn't see you there, sorry you couldn't make out." Migoto said sitting down, helping himself to Yancha's tea.
"So Doc, I've got the money, when can you begin the treatment." Migoto said, taking his guitar of his back, setting it next to him.

Yancha looked indignantly at the smiling tony and then to the recently lain off nurse that he'd cheered up. He frowned and folded his legs, placing his hands on his knee and watching Tony drink the tea without the argument he would have put forward if the culprit hadn't been such a charmer. he smiled to the retreating nurse.
"Your taking to long to get out of my office, your things aren't even packed yet. Move your ass"
The woman turned and blurted out confused. "What? What does that mean Doctor Kawairashii?"
She shook in worry having learned of this job from a fired cousin.
"Well..get out. That is what it means. Your fired, remove yourself"
He turned to Tony and smiled. "Was the tea to your liking? I did the operation in advance, I was getting tired of the dead girls presence and I feel I can trust your word as of yet. So, since you have my fee you can place it on my desk before you abandon me again to find a new nurse."
He pouted and looked up to Tony. "My nurses seem to tire of their jobs the moment you show up..and my dead kid day care become almost lively. Your quite th man Tony. Though I still don't see the point in your wasted funds."

Watching the way Yancha had dismissed his employee's never sat well with Migoto. He was almost always present at the firing's and often times found himself the center of attention after the women received their verbal lashings and subsequent notice of unemployment from Yancha. He could ignore all of this, but Yancha's disregard of the lives of his patients never boded well, especially in the case of Lizzy, whom Migoto had taken a shine to.
"Jeez, don't you think that was a little harsh Doc. You know, for someone with so much, you give so little of a damn I often wonder why you practice healing at all Doc." Migoto said with a solemn look on his face that not even his celadon tinted shades could hide, taking a wad of cash from his leather jacket pocket, placing it on Yancha's desk.

Yancha's grin faded and he let his head bow lightly. He unfolded his legs and placed his hand on the desk in frown of him. He rested his head on his hands and sighed.
"Why?"
He thought on it a moment, how serious a question he was faced with. He hadn't had to explain it since the reason himself asked. Yancha frowned and a single tear fell down his cheek in memory of the love he lost. His long blond hair hid the tear and it was easily wiped away as he looked up to Tony without the usual fervor he'd addressed him with thus far.
"My reason for healing? hmm...well."
He coughed lightly, clearing his throat.
"I had a young lover, who was very sick. His body was abnormal and the only way I could help was to magically heal him. But it wasn't so simple as to cure an illness. That youth was taken from me by some stray cat demon around a year ago. And now I have nothing but memories and dying kids in my practice"
He sighed again and mustered a smile.
"Is that a lame excuse or what?"

"Not so lame if ya think about it." Migoto said, offering a half smile. Hearing about Yancha's loss made Migoto reflect upon his lost lover Sara, never again would he hear her voice, or be graced by her touch. Empathizing Migoto looked at Yancha, "I lost the love of my life not too long ago, so I kinda know how ya feel Doc, but do you think that treating others, especially kids like dirt is the way to go about things?" Migoto asked, thinking about Sara and Lizzy.

Yancha laughed at the question. He was torn up about the loss of his little Arashi, but it was no where near enough to have altered his judgment. After all, the worthless are still the worthless.
"Treat them like dirt? You give me to much credit. I merely treat them as the worth they present to me. A dead girl waiting life to pass..is just that. I have no reason to pity them. I see no point in feeling for them, caring only brings tears in this world. In this world where people die everyday. This world where all you care for is so swiftly taken from you. The time of dragon slayers and angelic protectors is over for this world. Such fairy tales don't exist."
He panted having said all this in one breath. Maybe the loss of Arashi had effected him more then he cared to admit. It was strange that he mentioned angels didn't exist, when he could be found to communicate with a self proclaimed angel or two. None with wings or such, just abnormal abilities.
"In any case...why do you care so much about these petty lives we have as humans? It's not like she'll live past seventy anyway. Such a thing..as human life is hardly worth the effort. Unless given a reason."

Migoto was taken aback by Yancha's apathy. Few times had he ran into mortals that focused on the bleakness of humanity, as Migoto tried to surround himself with mostly upright and upbeat people, but Yancha was different. Despite their shared pain in loss of a loved one, Migoto felt that Yancha's stance on those of his own kind was to strong for someone who possessed so much, yet actually lack love. "How can you say those things as a Human Yancha, how can you not care at all? If you focus on nothing but death, then that's all you know until it comes for you. Who listens to song just to hear it end?" Migoto said loudly, not realizing the vital details about himself he had just let slip in a show of emotion.

Yancha was curious what he meant...as a human.. It was as if he was speaking from an outside view. He sharpened his gaze and paused. It wouldn't be the first time he'd met someone outside the mortal race. It wasn't as if he enjoyed death. It was just that some people aren't worth the life they're given.
"I don't care because I have no reason to. Why should I attempt to bring life to those who die. They WILL die. I am mortal. All mortals, deep down, understand something you seem to have forgotten. Life is short. Life...is very uncertain. Life can too easily be taken. I find it distressing to attempt to save life out of the caring of my heart. The life of others doesn't give me anything I'd not gain by letting them die. I get paid either way. They die whether I save them now or not. What about you Migoto? Have you felt the fear of a mortal life? Have you ever walked down the street knowing that at any moment your life could be at it's end. It's not a matter of focus on death. Only in the sad truth of reality. I find it tragic to waste my life worried about the lives of others. I'll only live once. I live for myself. What do you live for Migoto? And how much of that will you achieve in your Mortal life?"
He knew that Tony was dim enough to slip up a second time when riled by passion. And if he wasn't, he was wise enough to admit it when he was caught or suspected. He found this conversation refreshing even if he seemed completely apathetic he cared. He had just found that many didn't respect the life they held, so why should he. Not to mention he wasn't very compassionate in the first place.

"I... I... well... um..." Migoto stammered, realizing the severity of the situation, his mistake of letting his tongue slip in a heated conversation. For so many years Migoto managed to keep his identity and true nature clandestine, his guise remaining intact despite the number of people he had meet and interacted with. But being an artist, Migoto was a slave to passion, and once rilled up he often found himself head first in any given situation. Now was one of those and Migoto felt no choice but to reveal himself to the Doctor he had mislead for so long.
"I'm... so sorry Doc... I... thought I could keep this under wraps but... dammit." Migoto said looking into his lap, his head low, struggling to look Yancha in the face. "I'm not who I say I am Yancha, I'm an angel, a fallen angel." Migoto said looking into Yancha eyes.

Yancha looked at the frowning musician with a stare void of emotion. He had allowed himself to be riled into the conversation, and was at the point of his own voice raising. He was unsure what to say when Tony made his confession.
"So...I take it my talk of angels no longer existing must have been a great joke huh? You've been causing little disturbances with the magical properties of my office. And you've even been lying about your identity. What's your name stranger? And what are you doing coming to this place so often then? Your not some guardian angel..you have no reason to come here. You preach to me about respecting human life and what not..and you not even human. How do you know what it's like to be human? "
Yancha frowned annoyed. The last thing he wanted to be bothered with was a preachy angel. All he could do was hope he wouldn't be some righteous brat like that brunet in the hot spring. Well, since he was of the ethereal persuasion..maybe..
"In any case...do you..do you happen to know anything about a young boy named Arashi?"

Migoto began to scratch at his burgundy hair, which began to turn blond, just as his tanned skin took on its natural blue hue, "My name is Ongaku Migoto, and I am angel, one who specifically resonates sound. My purpose here is one for myself, I frequent places like this all the time when I'm bored, your practice in particular because of some the cases, and despite your apathitec nature Doc, I actually like you. No I'm no guardian angel, that job belongs to another race of angels, I was born a Cherebium." Migoto said, in his true form with his human clothing still on.
"As far as my attachment to your kind, I find you humans funny. Despite your problems, you guys know how to have fun, unlike the tight wads of Heaven and it was humans that introduced me to music. The first true love of my life Sara was human, and she died. I guess I care so much because I don't think you guys have enough time to appreciate what you have when you have it, what is the average human lifetime as far as years anyways Doc?" Migoto asked inquisitively, losing his train of thought on the original subject.

"The worldwide average human life is 67 years."
He looked at Migoto's transformation and attempted to look unimpressed. He failed miserably, the look of a blond with blue hair was rather shocking. I think the whole situation is amazing and he felt he had at least found a lead. If only he could actually get an answer.
"We in Japan however live an average of 81.75 years. A plus if you ask me, but I still feel it is a rather unattractive low. My life will likely hit the century mark, unless I'm murdered, but what is that to you? I wonder, how old are you Migoto?"
He was curious, but he'd forgotten what he'd actually wanted to know..but only for a second.
"Wait..no.."
He shook his head and smiled, taking an excited breath.
"Do you know anything about a boy named Arashi..he's seventeen, mid-length jet black hair..."

"Well, let's see... I'm about 150 or so, I stopped counting when I fell from Heaven." Migoto said reclining in the chair casually, now comfortable enough to divulge information to an avid listener. "About the boy... I think I saw someone like that in the King's bathroom, funny kid, he was all like sarcastic and stuff. Kinda overdress for the occasion though..." Migoto said smiling, thinking about the poignant comments made at the expense of the Yami-ou's husband.

Elated to hear news about the boy he had been searching for. He relaxed into his chair and smiled happy. He looked at the changed Tony...he was still mildly attractive, even with the blue skin. Well, oh well.
"hmmm. The Arashi I know was a little bit along the lines of docile. Well, it's been awhile. How did you manage to run into him..and in a bathroom?
He gave Migoto a look.
"I thought you weren't on the batting team..were you lying to me? And who is this king? Where is he?"
He'd grown interested in all that Migoto so lightly said.
"AND YOUR THAT OLD??? Wow...you look twenty"

"No no no, I'm not on the roster for that 'team' you speak of, my bosses bathroom is like a sauna. The Yami-ou is... well He's a chick, I mean She's a dude. Dammit, its confusing, anyways the boy was there enjoying my her company and walked in." Migoto said, struggling to not be confused by the Yami-ou's nature. "As for me age, we don't age like you guys, some the others are old old as dirt, some of them are like 2 or 3 thousand." Migoto said casually.

Migoto's confusion made Yancha feel at ease. He had expected the age thing..but that the angels had existed so far back was astonishing. Yancha smiled and remembered that the gil was still in his operating room.
"Oh..well off topic. That little girl you paid to cure is resing in my back room still. I keep her in a magically induced coma to make sure her body has no adverse reaction to the treatment. The removal of such a disease may have altared the surrounding tissues and I need to be sure her body isn't harmed."
He spoke offhandedly like it wasn't at all important.
'You can see her if you want. I'll wake her, sense she should be fine now. Her parents of course didn't even come to check on her, I almost forgot she was there"
He laughed lightly and smiled at Migoto.

"Sweets, I'll go see her now, and thanks for everything Doc." Migoto said, willing his tanned skin and blond hair back to the forefront. Migoto got up fast and shuffled out of the room to see Lizzy. Coming to her door after 5 minute of searching, Migoto entered quietly as the small child was just began to awaken.
"Tony, is that you..." she said weakly, rubbing her eyes to get a better look at Migoto.
"Yah, it's me babe how ya doing darling." Migoto said, kissing Lizzy on the forehead as he ran his fingers across her face to remove her hair from her vision.
"My tummy aches, and I'm tired." Lizzy pouted, forcing a smile as Tony sat on her bed.
"Well I wish you'd get better don't you sweety." Migoto asked softly.
"I do wish I was better, but Dr. Yancha said I need to rest." Lizzy said laying back on her pillow. Soon her pale cheeks became rosey, as Migoto magic began to work, granting yet another wish to the small girl, carefully counting this as the fourth. "Hey, I feel kinda good Tony, my tummy ache is gone." Lizzy said smiling as she looked at Migoto.
"That's good Liz, so where are your parents?" Migoto asked, beeming on the inside that the small girls condition was getting better.
Lizzy's smile began to fade a the mention of her parents, "They showed up and said they didn't want to pay. I think they were gonna leave me here." Lizzy said as small tears began to form in her eyes. Migoto tried hard to suppress his anger at the child's neglectful parents, smiling at the girl warmly.
"That's ok, I was thinking about taking you with me, the Doc said your ready to leave here anyways, I'll just tell him I'm taking you home." Migoto said, still smiling casually. "Put on your clothes and were off." Migoto said standing to his feet.
"Really! That's so great! My parents always kept me stuffed up at home afraid I'll get sick and stuff, so I've never really been anywhere. Where are we going?" Lizzy asked inquisitively as she jumped out of bed, running to the bag of belongings she brought with her.
"Somewhere fun sweetie." Migoto said, exiting the room to allow the girl her privacy. Standing outside for several minutes, Lizzy burst out the door fully dress with her belongings in hand, "I'm ready Tony, Yay!" She exclaimed.
"Ok let's go!" Migoto shouted as they headed for Yancha's office to say goodbye.

Yancha had already known what Migoto would likely decide to do and was pleased. It wasn't that he wanted to dump the kid, she now meant something, she was a symbol of his work. Yancha smiled seeing her, this time it was genuine. He looked up at Migoto as he moved near and had a truly kind face to show.
"No need to tell me your taking a little girl from my hospital Migoto."
He winked.
"I KnoW you wouldn't kidnap a helpless little girl. I'm sure you'll be taking her to her home."
Yancha brushed the girls hair sweetly and smiled.
"Take care of yourself Lizzy dear. I've fixed your weak body and made it strong. You won't be getting that sick ever again, and I'm sure Tony here will make sure no one hurts you or leaves you all alone." And with a smile of both pride and accomplishment Yancha left his newest achievement n the hands of her surrogate father, closing the door to his office behind him.
