"What is it that you want ?" Kaori asked, referring to the servant who had some how summoned the audacity to interrupt her and her...guest on the balcony.
"While you are here," she said, a cruel smile on her face as she inhaled from her pipe, "take the corpse and dispose of it. This Human was being unreasonable."
"Y-yes, Founder," the servant said. "I was sent to you to inform you that...Calice...she has...poisoned herself."
Kaori sniffed. "It is of no consequence to me. That only means that the remains of this Humans cannot be traced here, now. She was the only one who loved this pathe tic being. And he refused to stay away from my niece. How is Viginia taking this news?"
Another voice floated it from inside of the house. "She's taking things rather well. She says good riddance. I mean, there are the rest of us. By the way how fast will the balcony be clean? I want to tan myself on it..."
Kaori smiled, dropping the ripped head from her hands. "Ah, Sapphire. It's nice to see you. Please, gather your sister's body and please burn it. She interacted with a Human that I do--oh, excuse me, did not--approve of. She will not be buried with the family. Tell your mother that I will be making up the loss of her daughter with a nice brunch." Turning back to the servant, she said "What were you here for?"
"Your namesake has left the city of Aledo, and entered the land of Humans. We are not quite sure where she has gone..." the servant said.
Kaori's face fell into a scowl. "The family considers her name forfeit. Such a detail does not matter to me. Leave me."
The servant did as he was bid, and Sapphire said, "Really? You don't care about your greatnieces whereabouts? That's something new."
"Tch. I cannot allow the help to see that I am still keeping tabs on her. They know of Celia's work, but they do not know of anyone else. Make sure that it stays that way. Kill any servants who seem to know more. Alert the other family members of Calice's death. I will have someone meet my namesake personally..."
