[after Chaos at peace]
Arashi teleported blind through his usual herethere ability. He used the chaos to make his ability location of reappearance randomized and he happened to find himself along the mountains. The place was not in his recollection and he really didn't care. He was here only to learn to understand the ability of void that he was using. He needed to learn how to use his power on his own. The medium was all well and good but he wouldn't be able to rely on that alone. He was mixing his own magical energy with Ranmyaku when he used the blood skills, and that is his weakness. He needed to figure away to do things without it. He was able to repress the chaos of the sprite to a near halt, but this was not enough. His body was fused with the sprites power, which is why he could not remove chaos from his blood. His wings could only remain in the haze form with a rich flow of chaos. He would learn to manipulate this with the abilities he'd learned and taken from the souls he'd gathered so far.
Arashi stood motionless in the middle of the mountain pass in the unknown mountain and repressed the chaos in his blood again. He remembered the feeling from the surgery with Yomi. He felt his bodies change, a cooling sensation as the dark smoke of his wings wrapped into themselves and took the shape of wings from the base and out. The feathers covering smoke and solidifying along the way. He looked up at the sky and for the first time in the ten minutes it took to repress the energy this much, Ranmyaku spoke.
You can feel the difference in your magical flow now right Arashi? You cannot use your blood in this state. What will you do?
Arashi knew exactly what he would need to do in this form, he would use chaos as it was. As a separate element that was his to wield. Though, he wasn't sure exactly how this worked. He knew the theory but he didn't know the process, he would need to work at this. He spread his wings and felt the mountain breeze catch in the feathers. He raised his hand and focused his energy, he was doing as he did with the blood, but this would be pure chaos. He could not loose focus now, manipulating the element without the blood medium made it far more dangerous.
If you wield the energy purely, your destructive power will rise, but you'll not be able to perform the range and massive attacks you've done thus far. Not to mention it'll tire you out faster.
Arashi ignored the sprite and focused his energy, he would succeed in this, he couldn't stand being helpless. The ability to do this would improve his power over Ranmyaku's energy as well and that would aid him in the future. Then he saw it, a ball of chaos started to form in his palm. It wasn't an orb like he had formed with the blood, but instead it was a purple lopsided ball. Arashi tried to stabilize it but it only grew more obtuse. He forced more power into it and it finally became perfectly round.
"Ha. I did it!"
ARASHI GET AWAY NOW!
Arashi barely had time to react, and it was just enough. He tossed the ping pong sized ball into the mountain as he took off into the air. The moment he was in the air from the strong beat of his wings, the chaos imploded. The ball collapsed into itself and vanished, taking a chunk of the mountain with it in a giant circle roughly forty yards in diameter. Arashi looked down at the hole in awe. There was nothing where the mountain had been, the area surrounding the vanished rock was so cleanly cut it seemed polished smooth. He looked at his hands and let out the breath he'd not noticed he was holding.
"What the fuck was that?"
Apparently that is what happens when you attempt to stabilize your magical energy Arashi. Next time, though it a bit farther.
"What would have happened if I'd been caught in that"

Arashi swallowed and fly off, he'd figured out a way to wield his own energy, but such an attack... was obviously dangerous to both the user and the opposition.
