[THIS THREAD TAKES PLACE BEFORE "FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS"]
[Okay, no one wants to bother going through a description of birth--at least, I don't want to go into having Tomoyo do...motherly things >< We'll have this thread that takes place afterward. If you want to do little flashbacks or whatever to describe how your character feels or flesh out your post, you can do that, too.]
Tomoyo fluttered her eyes open, feeling exhausted. Looking up around Yancha's familiar medical room. Finding a small table in the distance to fix her vision on, she tried to remember the cacophony of the last few hours. Leaving the castle in the panic that she had after suddeng pangs of vertigo and pain. Cielle forcing her to leave the castle and locking it up, calling Ren and Rei to go with her to Yancha's clinic. Everything after that blended into moments of surprise, discovery, pain and a little fear, to be honest.
Tomoyo rolled over in her standard white medical issue bed, trying to make sense of the last half day, trying to find some familiarity...

Rei
She'd kicked her brother out of the delivery room when he started turning green.
The last thing Tomo had needed was to see that her husband felt sick at the thought of his child being born. Their relationship was already rocky enough without her seeing that...
She'd left Ren gawking at the baby that had his features down pat. Rei herself hadn't been able to surpress the squeels about how adorable her nephew was, even while her brother had stood shellshocked in a corner of the room.
She walked down the hall still chuckling at the Dragon-in-headlights expression he'd worn the moment he'd layed eyes on the baby but quited down when she slipped silently inside Tomo's room lest she wake her friend/leader up.
Seeing the blue eyes opened and vaguley alert she went over to the bed, sitting down on the side of it and brushing down the Tomo's hair as it had taken on a life on it's own throughout the day.
"Hey mama, picked out a name yet?"
Ren
Rei had kicked him out of the delivery room. Which was just as well because he'd nearly passed out from the grip Tomo had gotten on his hand.
So he'd sat in reception, desperately wishing for a cigarette to calm his nerves before he remembered that he didn't smoke. And then he paced for the next half hour before Rei had come back out and shoved him into a chair to tell him that he had a son and that she was going to beat his ass if he didn't get ahold of himself.
Even still as he watched the nurses bustle about the nursery taking care of the baby, he couldn't help but stare in amazement at the being that he'd helped bring into the world.
But seriously...what a world to bring him into....

Yancha commonly droll day was stopped with the sudden arrival of Tomo and company. It was time, and he was now in a rush to bring out a baby. He'd only had one nurse on duty but it was of no great importance. It took only moments to have five more sent from the nearest hospital by helicopter. Being well connected and rich had its perks. The women had to stay out of the back room, but they took care of the man in the reception area and after the birth the women tended to the nursery.
After the pushes and screams were done Yancha again entered the room with the newborn. The baby would be fine, Yancha had already done a check of the child's blood and such. The child was as fit as could be and honestly cute. Yancha usually disliked touching the newborns, but this was a rather lovely child. He walked up to the exhausted mother and smiled beside the one he assumed was a close relation. He held the child out to Tomo gently and waited for her to take the child.
The doctor had nothing to say however, he was in a state of awe. He had not thought of the fact before but, he was likely the first human to deliver a celestial baby. Not only an angel, but one born of such a high caliber. Yancha's pride took a substantial boost after that thought crossed his mind and he was obviously pleased with himself.

When Rei walked in, she almost wanted to ask, ...what just happened? But it seemed that with her closest friend there with her the memories of the strennous last day returned. She'd had the baby, suffered unbearable pain--even though she had suffered worse--and watch Ren be bustled out of the room by Rei. Tomoyo supposed that she was being protective.
Seeing Rei, she held a hand out to her friend. "...is everything...alright?" for some reason, she felt ready to cry, and tears began to build up in her eyes. "Is Ren...happy?"
Her mind was foggy, and even as she held out her hand to Rei, all sorts of things were happening to her--pent up magic used to carry and protect the baby were being redistributed in her; her hair began to turn a deep red.
Tomoyo sighed. "I'm sorry; I didn't do that on purpose..." Thinking for a moment, she pieced it together. "My mother...her hair is red..." she sighed again, allowing herself to rest in the comfort of the pillows, too tired even after sleeping to even bother changing her hair back to the usual white. "Are my eyes still blue?"
Then she heard her friend ask about the baby's name, and it came to her attention that she hadn't had time to think about a name.
"I...I don't know--"
The door to the room opened, and Yancha-sensei came in. Tomoyo tried to her best to smile; he had helped her out a lot--even if she had thought she was lying and crazy at first--and even though he was a Human he had not extorted her or anything of the sort. She owed him many things, but he had only asked for a favor. One favor in Tomoyo's opinion would not be adequate compensation for the safe delivery of a newborn life.
Yancha was carrying a small bundle in his arms, and Tomoyo's heart felt like it had leapt twenty feet when she saw it. That was her child? But it was so small...so tiny...so fragile...
Tomoyo's eyes snapped up to look at Rei's eyes, the smile in them more than the Archangel had ever seen. "That's...that's the baby," she said, in awe of her own child. Looking at Yancha, she said, "Thank you so much..."
He was silent as he brought the baby to the bed. Tomoyo's hands shook as she held him.
"He...looks like Ren..." she said, unable to say anything else.

Walking into the hospital holding bags containing an assortment of baby gifts and paraphernalia, Migoto strolled passed all the swooning nurses and on lookers as he approached the delivery room where Tomo, and her new bundle of joy were sure to be. Wearing his mortal disguise of Tony, Migoto navigated through the hall, whisltling a happy tune. Actually happy to be in a hospital for the sake of not tending to the dying, Migoto was actually smiling a real smile, and not his usual to feign his inner sadness at the predicament of the mortals who's lots typically ended in places like this.
Approaching the room, Migoto saw Ren and approached him, his bustling nature pouring out of him with no restraint. "Hey guy! Congratulations on you and Tomo's baby man. You are the man of the hour today!" Migoto said, frantically shaking Ren's hand. Glancing at Ren's face, Migoto saw he was in a state not easily explainable. Hr seemed to be relived his wife successfully had given birth, but the erratic beat of his heart gave Migoto the feeling of confusion and sickness at the same time. Walking away from Ren after patting him on the back Migoto walked into the room to find Yancha, Rei, and a exhausted by smiling Tomo.
"Hey all, the party can officially begin now that I'm here. I'll forgive you later for Starting without me Tomo." Migoto said walking to Tomo's beside to hug her. "Congratulations mama, and might I say, your more of a MILF now than ever, you look gorgeous." Migoto said to Tomo, smiling at his King, and seemingly one of the most important people in his life. Tomo had given Migoto stability where he had none, so if she was happy, he was estatic.
"Good job Doc, I wouldn't have anyone else be here but you to deliver Tomo-mama-sama's baby. Migoto said, giving Yancha a small hug. Turning to Rei, Migoto put on his worst angry face, "I hate you brother, he's such a lucky prick." Migoto said, bursting into laughter as he hugged Rei, "Thanks for being here for her." Migoto said , returning to Tomo's bedside. "anything you need, name it pretty lady." He said, beaming with happiness.

Tomoyo smiled tiredly as she saw Migoto, diguised in a Human form that didn't include his usually loud blue skin. She was very happy to see another person happy about her and her child. It was very welcoming [unlike her husband...], and she honestly hoped for more of it.
"How did you know? Did Cielle tell you?" Tomoyo was worried about her eldest daughter, and was wondering what it was that she was doing at the castle. She wasn't worried though; she had left both Avalon and Symphony behind, so she had the proper help that she needed around the house should she get lost in the corridors or anything.
Tomoyo blushed at Migoto's comments, looking at Rei with eyes that wondered if she was familiar with the Human term 'MILF'. It had been a long time since she had heard it, and while she was surprised to hear a subordinate of her dare to call her such a name without any fear, it was that very same feature that she liked about Migoto, and she simply laughed it off.
"Life of the party indeed," Tomoyo said, whispering. "But," she added. I think that title belongs to this little bundle of joy right here..." she said gesturing toward the baby in her arms.
To the comment about Yancha, she replied, "Yes, it seems that your friend has given me something I cannot possibly pay him back for. He's very talented. He didn't get sick like Ren while the baby was being delivered..." she looked thoughtfully toward the ceiling, the image of Rei ushering Ren out of the room filling her mind. When Migoto made the jest about Ren being the father, his face serious only long enough to get his words out, Tomoyo giggled a little, wishing that Ren would actually enter the room to say something to her, or to hold the baby...
"Anything you need, name it pretty lady," he said, smiling, and Tomoyo frowned.
"What I really want," she said masking the pain she was feeling, "is for my husband to come in here and hold the baby. I don't think he's ever held a little child before..."

Rei
"Ren's in sort of state of shock at the moment from what I can tell." Rei began, to answer the inquiries as to her brothers whereabouts.
She sent a tendril of power through their pact that would allow her to figure out his state of mind and what the hell he was still doing in the hallway when the baby had been brought in and when it would be obvious that Tomo would want to see him.
She was not-so-delicately booted back into her own mind shortly after reaching his with a gruff command to mind her own business.
She accepted the thanks from Tomo's friend for being there and discreetly blinked, turning her head away from Tomo as she spoke, hoping the shaking her voice wouldn't give away the flood of emotions she was experiencing as she got her first good look at her nephew.
"All I can tell is that I know that he's happy. Very much so. He's just really nervous. With all the stuff that's been going on with you two lately, he doesn't see that it's his place to be here unless you specifically ask for him. I can drag him in here though, hold on a moment."
Ren
He'd barely had time to close the mental link between the two of them, before he was charged with an armful of sobbing twin. Grabbing her firmly by the shoulders and holding her at arms length, he had to shake her slightly before whatever it was that she was babling about came anywhere close to being choherent.
"What the hell, Rei, what's the matter with you?!" The seemed to do the trick and and she stiffened before pushing him away, wiping at her face.
"Theres nothing wrong with me, coglione!! You're the one at fault!! What the hell are you doing standing out here when your wife and baby are in the room?!"
Ren blinked in shock at the emotional sock to the stomach and frowned.
"I-I didn't think she would want to see me yet. She's still really pissed off isn't she? I mean, I haven't exactly been there or made myself available. And then you had to kick me out of-" And this time, she physically socked him and from where he could see, doubled over in pain and clutching his midsection, she's placed her hands on her hips, in her customary supercillious manner.
"We don't have time for you to be emotionally constipated right now!!" She grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and dragged him into the room, closing the door behind him and dragging him with her to the bed. Perching on the end of it like a guardian hawk as he was confronted with Tomo and his son.
...Byakko, did that sound weird...
He noticed he was staring and looked up from a blond head of hair to see a pair of blue eyes that he'd been seeing far to sparingly lately.
"Er...Congradulations...I suppose...to both of us....We never did come up with a name, did we?"

Yancha more or less saw things in a flash himself as the room became a bit more crowded by Migoto and all of his ego. The Djinni musician took up more then a normal amount of magical energy to accept into the room. Yancha had always found it interesting to find out little discoveries about the rooms reactions. Each person that entered caused a separate disturbance as the room fed from them and back into them. The many powerful magical aura's all entering now happened to make it rough on Yancha to gauge and reestablish the rooms healing properties accordingly. Though, it was quickly done and Yancha once again felt at ease. That is.. until he was suddenly embraced by the human image of Migoto.
"Um...Thanks. But could you stop being such a tease Migoto? It hurts my feelings.." Yancha said with a false pout.
There was nothing more frustrating then being hugged by the guy you had a crush on and knowing he never saw. Yancha had to seen Migoto in both human and natural form, and he preferred the look of Tony in all honesty. Though, either would do if only Yancha could get a bit more then a hug.
"I'm honored that you think so highly of me Sanada-sama. I hope you and your family a happy life with the new child."
Taking a few steps to the recently returning husband he paused and looked back. This guy was certainly not what he'd expected, but it was of little importance. Yancha couldn't quite see what there was about the guy, but it must be something to catch the creator of hell. Yancha leaned over to the guy and whispered...
"I wasn't sure who to ask, but would you like your son circumcised?"

"Circumcised? What's that?" Migoto asked ignorantly, looking at what seemed to be the happy family. Migoto tried to smile at Ren and make him feel more comfortable as he saw his child for the forst time, hoping he wasn't out of place and intruding on the family's special day. Taking a seat, Migoto helped himself to some water in the room that was sitting on the table.

Tomoyo didn't hear anything that anyone had said after Ren stepped into the room. The last time that she had seen him, she had ordered him out of her castle...she could understand why he was nervous. But now the baby was here and everything was going to be okay, because she was sure that there was nothing else in the world that could make Ren happier than seeing his own son.
At least that was what she wanted to believe. But as a Balseraph, she knew that this was a lie the minute he entered the room, his eyes staring in pure shock and no other emotion at his child in her arms. But still, Tomoyo reassured herself; he was just waiting for the right words, waiting to get used to the concept of being a father before he realized what a precious thing Tomoyo was holding in her hands and then being unable to stay at the foot of the bed any longer--
"Er...Congratulations...I suppose...to both of us....We never did come up with a name, did we?"
Each word, each syllable clawed its way across the very core of Tomoyo's soul.
She took a deep breath, ready to say something encouraging, something that would give Ren a clue of what she was really wanting to see and hear from him--
but she found herself unable to do anything, tears welling in her eyes and falling down her cheeks; all she could do was cry.

"Aww, don't cry Tomo-mama, that's the baby's job." Migoto said playfully, not understanding Tomo's plight. Walking over to his assortment of bags, Migoto began to rummage thought them to reveal a case of glazed donuts, shoving two into his mouth as soon as he found them. Swallowing his chewed snack, Migoto offered them to everyone, looking at each individual as he extended the gesture. Yancha and Rei both seemed themselves, but Ren, Tomo's husband seemed different. Migoto had been in hospitals more than enough, so had become familiar with many of the various emotions of situation.
Increased heart beat, sweat, tears, angst, breathing, all the motions of being human he guest, but it was not all that different for celestials. Looking at Ren Migoto wondered if he harbored any resentment after finding him in the bath with his wife. Although he was not completely naked, he knew that the situation was awkard, and began to think Ren found him out of place here. But it was Ren's lack of emotion, that changed Migoto's opinion, as be found very little of anything as he spoke to his wife. Even the sight of his child did not spur a spike in heart rate, and Migoto sunk into himself, like he usually did when he thought deeply.
"Man... even in the face of all this new life... this guy is so... so... dead inside..." Migoto said to himself, continuing to munch on his box of donuts. "Sheesh, that's why she cryin'... poor Tomo..." Migoto continued, looking back at his saddened king. Migoto began to feel empathic toward her, trying to think of a way to lighten the mood with out being too loud. "Hey Ren, why don't you hold the baby, he looks like a little version of you." Migoto said, smiling to everyone, happy at his suggestion. He looked over to Tomo, hoping this gesture would bring a smile to her face, winking at her secretly.
