Akari had been outside playing for hours. She had been a meditative state, it seemed, for quite some time. Her only daughter had fallen, and so had her husband, and she was the only one left in her lonely bloodline. There was nothing more that she could do. She had lost the only legacy that she had. And thus, she was playing the saddest song that she could compose at the moment. Her playing was all by ear--music had been the only thing that Humans had created that interested her, and her music was pleasing to the Upright ear. Why her her husband left her? He had told her that he could not see the faults in the Heavenly laws, but she did not see them. Every rule set in place was to benefit them as a society; every rule set was to protect them and guide them. Why would he see fault in that? Sure, sometimes they had not exactly had the best luck with Kings, but you cannot blame the system for the people that run it. They had a new King now, who was probably fated to be better than eve Chiyo had been, and that was something that Akari was not going to forsake him because of the mistakes of the Kings of the past. She hoped that both her husband and child would e watching out; because Akari was not sure if she was going to fogive them.

Gin walked alone through one of the many fountain filled palacades that permeated his Realm. His realm was one of the few places Gin would traverse alone, feeling at ease within his own Realm, not requiring his Einjheriar escort. Walking Gin heard a melody, a sad, somber song, matched only by the look of its player. Gin walked closer to the source of the music, his robes blowing slightly in the entle breeze.
"Tell me, what pains you so that you bleed out your heavenly soul, filling the air with saddness not becoming your beauty at all." Gin said, standing before the silent player, his ebony ponytail blowing slightly to his left, both his hands behind his back.

Akari immediately noticed the footsteps that were permeating the notes of her song. Her playing ceased as she looked up to see who was approaching. It didn't take more than a glance to notice that the Ha-ou was getting closer and closer. His pastel green robes flowed around him and his long, signature hair and perfectly poised glasses pointed him out as the undeniable ruler of Heaven. Akari rose as he halted before her, bowing in respect to her King.
"Tell me, what pains you so that you bleed out your heavenly soul, filling the air with saddness not becoming your beauty at all,"
She had been trying to avoid this encounter, but she knew that this time would come with Kouzetsu eventually. Akari always took it upon herself to inform the Kings of who she was exactly, so that they had no problems watching her. She had been monitored so closely by Tsubasa during her reign that she could not so much as gotten dressed without extra company.
And she did not blame anyone. She had simply been born into an unlucky existence.
"I--I am sorry, your grace," she said, looking up a little from her bow. "I...I have to tell you. I, Sanada Akari, am the mother of the accursed King of Hell, and the wife of her father who fell subsequently. I will not lie, I have done numerous things to avoid you when you were first put in office. However, I am not running anymore. You can do what you want with me, like the other kings have. I realize that I must pay for the sin of bringing that horrible daughter into this world..."

"No need to avoid me Sanada-sama, you are not your infernal daughter or husband and I will not hold you to the same disgraceful standard. You have more than proven yourself as one of the righteous, maintaining your alliegence to Heaven despite your torrid family history. To that it is I that owe you much honor." Gin said, grabbing the draping end of his robes as he took as seat next to Akari. despite her age, she was quite beautiful, yet her sadness dampened her features.
Clearing his throat, Gin began to speak, "What reasons would you have to cower from me my lady, please explain yourself, I can assure there is no one around. As Ha-ou, I am awarded my privacy, so please..." Gin as looking into Akari's eyes as his spectacles lenses began to show a glare from the sunlight.

Despite his words of kindness, it would take more than that to erase the guilt of the past. She had gone millennia taking punishment from the other Ha-ou. She had been tortured for information, screamed at, physically abused and taunted even by children who had been taught by their parents that she was to blame for all of this. Many believed that she was dead. During Chiyo's reign, the girl was kind, but that was out of pity, and because that traitorous King was still being blinded by her love for Tomoyo. When Tsubasa had been ressurected, Akari had been frozen for a number of years by her scientists magic. She had been released by Tohru, but there was no honor in serving a Human King or being freed by her.
Gin sat next to her, something that she hadn't expected and actually cringed away from. He couldn't believe that such a noble person would bother to sit near such filth as her.
"I am not worthy," she said simply. I will serve you in anyway possible, but I am not worthy to do anything but that. I, unfortunately, am not even awarded privacy now..." she raised her hand, pointing in the distance where she could see another angel, fluttering over her. He was a Malakite, and didn't even bother to conceal himself. None of them bothered to coneal themselves anymore. They all knew the drill. Akari knew the drill, and there was nothing that she could do to stop it. She deserved it. She was not to be trusted.

"You possess more worth than you give yourself credit for. The tree that bears the fruit is not to blame for the apple that falls to the ground only to rot. I can assure you you will suffer no ill by my hands, I am not ruled by emotion like my predecessors and cohorts. The pettiness of there actions does not speak well for our nation, especially to one who has had more opportunity to escape the damnable lot in this life that you possess." Gin said, empathizing worth Akari.
"All that I ask of you my lady is an opportunity to prove that my actions are worthy of your serve, for the devotion to Heaven , despite you treatment, you possess greatly surpasses the ugliness of your child, husband, and torturers combined." Gin said standing, extending a hand to Akari. "Come with me my lady Sanada-sama, for I would like to speak with you away from the prying eyes of you monitors, in my own study as it were." Gin said starring into Akari's saddened features.

His words were kind, as she had always admitted from the beginning, but to her they still meant nothing. She had been charmed before, by her own husband, by the aspirations of their child, by those seeking closeness to her in order to blame her for deeds she already accepted as her own fault--but kind words still meant nothing to her.
She did not want to leave his hand waiting, and she took it. However, she remained seated and shook her head.
"I'm not sure if you know how this works," she said in her light, feathery voice, sadness still there, "but I am not allowed to go anywhere without supervision, by decree of the Elders. My body guard, as you saw up above, must be able to see and hear me at all times. I cannot knowingly except an invitation to speak with you without supervision."

"Indeed." Gin said, his stoic voice masking the annoyance he felt for the elders. Removing a small pad of stationary from the inner folds of his robes, Gin also procured a vial of ink which he set down near where Akari sat. Revealing a writing quill, Gin unscrewed the top of the saffron ink, and swiftly began to pen a decree, "Take this to whom ever it is you answer to and make them aware of my intentions to speak with you. My signature and a few words are all that should be required to transfer custody over your affairs over to me." Gin said, finishing the letter detailing Akari's welfare be transfered over to him, signed as a direct mandate as Ha-ou.
"Well, it would seem this is as far as we shall go today. After the elders read that, report back here to my estate post haste, there are many things I wish to discuss." Gin said, returning his scribing material to their previous places of concealment. "Goodbye, and until the next time we meet Akari." Gin said turning away after rubbing her hand. Gin's well chiseled features did not give way to the annoyance he felt. "How could the elders have the mother of the opposition and not have utilized her to our advantage?" Gin asked himself. "This grievance shall be corrected, and we shall be one step closer to purging Hell from existance." Gin finished speaking to himself, returning to his estate to begin a series of Meetings with his subordinate Kings, ad the Elders as well.
[Gin returns to his estate to commence the Caucus of Kings, and Assemblage of Elders threads.]
