Chikara couldn't really believe that there had been yet another attack on the caslte. There were somethings that she just didn't expect to happen, and she hadn't thought that anyone would actually have Tomoyo on their radar during her pregnancy. She really didn't; she had always thought Tomoyo was being paranoid about things like that. But, she guessed the more experience Kings tended to be right about their own jobs...
This Arashi guy, however, was completely new to her. She had no idea who he was, but apparently he had killed off a fistful of beings in the second layer of Heaven. That hadn't been the layer she ruled, but she was still. Little bitch. As Tomoyo gave the order to kill him without hesitation, she found herself saying, "Gladly", without even meaning to.
She always found it hard to keep her mouth shut about some things.
This dude must have seriously ticked off Tomo's nerves, though, because there was a dethronement rule in place of keeping any sort of information from her about the subject...
That being said, she had never kept anything from Tomoyo. It was keeping secrets that had resulted in Tomo's fall in the first place, let alone any of the other shit that happened in Heaven, especially anything that had to do with Tsubasa, her replacement.
"I don't have questions," she said, "but I would like to know what else there was for you to tell us because things are finally beginning to get interesting around here.
As far as Jiishita becoming a King went, she would have to talk to him about that later...

Migoto was saddened to see that Tomo's demeanor hadn't changed, his offered being virtually ignored among the orders being given. Though he felt in consequential amidst the seriousness in the, he understood how grave matters had become as of late, sighing when he heard the young man who he met only once now being branded as a fugitive. Knowing his place Migoto let the meeting with the baby in tow, rocking the young Rakeru in his arms as he walked out of the room, back to the room where Rakeru was to be put back in bed, hoping Elizabeth wouldn't be to upset at how long what Migoto dubbed, "Grown up stuff..." taken out of the day. Walking through the corridors, Migoto felt the disturbance in the castle's usually stable magical resonance. Walking, he continued to hum a gentle tune to continue lull the infant to sleep peacefully.

Suddenly, Migoto rose from his seat in the meeting and decided to leave. Tomoyo didn't say anything about it, because while she had tried to show him some idea of how prized he was to her by allowing him to sit in on the meeting, the truth was Migoto was not very enthused about that sort of thing, and she was not going to keep him there against his will, especially when he was going through the trouble to take care of Rakeru for her.
As he entered the hallway, Tomoyo realized that quite a few things had slipped her mind in the last missive--with everyone throwing in their opinions about Kojiro and the Dragon, Ilreg--including but not limited to her current stance with Oracle as well as a number of other old contacts, and Migoto's status of leaving for fighting Ilreg. As much as she knew he wanted to help, Tomoyo would rather him not die. With her best friend and husband gone now, he was about the only thing other than Rakeru that made her smile. The automatic 'no' to the idea of Migoto leaving had been processed so quickly she hadn't bothered to say it outloud. She would explain things to him later, she supposed. It was at this time that she also realized that she had never asked Migoto if he had any fighting experience or extraordinary skills outside of his music. If so, it was very possible that she could offer him a job right in her castle. That would be very convenient, if Ayaka was willing to give him up. She washed the selfish thought from her mind. She had enough people in the castle; Migoto could wander wherever he wanted.
That being said, to address the other things that she had forgotten, "Also, if you're going to meet a familiar contact of ours, or an old ally of Hell in general--things have changed; you should all check with me before meeting them. Some of them are not quite our allies anymore, or require extreme caution. If you encounter anyone, even if you are hiring them to help you with some other mission, please only give away what is necessary. I'm asking this because information is all bought and sold. It has always been that way and it always will be. And considering how antsy the worlds are becoming about the War, I'm not sure who's with who at the moment. I have to re-route all of our alliances, because there have been so many changes in Kingship, especially now with this loss of Rei and Ren...again, please, just be cautious. Don't do anything stupid."
