[This thread will be written as though it is after Ren and Rei's Death. For RPing Purposes, Yamazaki Chikara is the one who delivered the news to Tomo, as she was present at the meeting that Ren and Rei used to challenged their father. I also don't hope you mind Chikara, but I'm writing you into this thread without actually godmodding. I want you to be active ^^]
{Also, Servants of Kings and possible relatives are also allowed, both written into posts and using the NPC accounts}
Sanada Tomoyo did not bother to hide her tears, her only son Rakeru wrapped in her arms as she did so. He was quiet and still, something that he normally was not these days, and he seemed to almost understand his mother's grief.
Why did all of these things have to happen to her? It didn't make any sense at all. Tomoyo didn't even bother drying the tears from her face, even though a bland, emotionless expression crossed her featured. Chikara would be at this meeting, and she would be able to tell the rest of the Kings what she had told her. Of the tragedy that had suddenly hit her.
Ren had been a lot of bad things. He wasn't a very good husband, and he was struggling to be a good father. But he had been working on things, and he had been there. He had promised her that he would be a good father, even if they had to be separated while he was filling that role. It was that perseverance that had drawn Tomoyo to Ren in the first place.
In her first life, she had died. And in this life, her beloved died. She didn't dare delve into that any further than she already had. She was still a King, and there were things that had to be taken care of, hence the meeting taking place at all.
She had invited Migoto to the meeting, to deal with Rakeru for the duration of the meeting. She also, in some region of her soul, knew that she would need someone to rely on as well. Migoto was a gentle-Djinni, and someone that Tomoyo felt comfortable. There weren't many beings that she could say that about, but he was one of the few.
So, not bothering to dry her tears, the Ha-ou of Hell Sanada Tomoyo, she waited for her fellow Kings to arrive in her palace.

Kojiro hurriedly jogged into the meeting. The look on his face was somewhat annoyed. The Boss had never called a meeting in the past, but of all times she had to call one now?! Fucking Bullshit. Kojiro was in the middle of breaking down the Elemental Barrier, in order to access something he had been after for quite sometime.
It was going to be really hard for him to pay attention to what was being said. There was too much going on for him at the moment. Kojiro wanted to be there to successfully monitor the progress of his work.
"Would it be possible to get like ummm.....Some type of summary-of-the-meeting type thing....Im kinda busy...." Kojiro asked.
He had a petty good idea what the answer would be but he had to try it anyway.

Her heels clicked on the stone pavement as she ran even harder. Ayaka rushed over to the front door of the building, fearing she was late for a meeting. When she got there, the energy felt different, very different from the way she was here before.
Now Ayaka didn't feel as though she was late but now sad.
That can never be a good...she thought as she made her way over to the main room only to see Tomoyo with her child and Kojiro standing nearby.
"I am here Lady Tomoyo," she said formally, "What seems to be the problem." She could see from her line of sight that that her leader was crying or just finished.

Yomi arrived at the meeting escorted by Arashi's sister, the Lillite that had been left in her care. She could walk now, and even though it hurt she didn't mind bothering coming to the meeting. She had been waiting for an appropriate meeting with the king, after that stupid assed Dragon fucked up her Layer for no reason. It made no sense for anyone with such an offense to go unpunished.
Walking into the meeting, she could see the other three Kings there. She hated to look at them; this was all that was left of the Hellion Kings? She knew how this had happened; Itsuki and Shoko being bitches. Tokiju being killed by them. Kasumi leaving with them. There was nothing to curb those occurrences, and only Tomoyo herself held the right to deem someone a King, even if they gave her suggestions. It was a policy that Tomoyo had always kept, even though Yomi didn't really know why. On the other hand, Tomoyo had hand-picked her, so her decisions had to have some sort of reasoning to them.
But her eyes narrowed as she realized that Tomoyo's shoulders were heaving slightly, and it was only with further inspection that she saw the glistening tears streaking her cheeks. What on earth had happened. Of all the ways that Tomoyo had displayed herself at meetings, serious or otherwise, she had never over the course of several millennia seen Tomoyo cry in a meeting.
"...Tomo? Shouldn't we start the meeting?"

Post by Yamazaki Chikara on Nov 6, 2008 0:10:09 GMT -4
Chikara was the only one who had been there before the meeting started. She couldn't believe what it was that she saw only a days ago. She hated to be the bearer of bad news, but she couldn't help it here. She had been shoved out of the Yamazaki headquarters, threatened with death if she spoke about the incident. But they weren't giving her enough credit; Chikara had defied the gods and lived--defying the head of her family, who was only using her for a vote in the matter with Rei and Ren, was nothing.
But seeing Tomo cry like this was something different altogether. She had never witnessed Tomo in this kinda state. Even when they had started talking again, after she had lost her children to Chiyo, Tomo had not cried. She has simply stated that she deserved it, that it was her penalty for being so hasty as to kill Chiyo on a simple whim in the first place.
Rakeru in her arms, rocking as Tomo heaved her silent tears, looked like he was going to cry, too, and Chikara didn't fancy hearing the sound of a crying baby.
She sighed, deciding not to say anything because she didn't know what to say. Chikara hadn't thought that Tomo would hold the meeting with the Kings right after getting the news from her--Chikara had spent hours talking with Jiishita about how she would relay the matter to her. Jiishita would probably be here shortly, and she didn't know what she would be able to tell him about her attempt to soften the news. How did you gently tell someone that their husband was dead? Even if Ren sucked as a husband, Tomo still loved her.
The first King in was some rude person that Chikara recognized but hadn't met formally. He asked if he could be excused from the meeting, and she blurted without thinking, "No, you can't leave right now. I don't care what in Byakko you have to do, your King if crying!"
She had expected to see Tomo's daughter there, but she guessed that she wasn't allowed, as she wasn't a king. A couple other Kings joined the meeting a few minutes later, Yomi included. She asked Tomo what was wrong, and Chikara decided to let the Ha-ou answer this time.

Post by Takaishi Jiishita on Nov 7, 2008 16:04:05 GMT -4
Jiishita had heard the story that Chikara would tell Tomoyo before he had even arrived there. The way that she had returned from her meeting in the Mortal Realm, shaken up and not willing to speak to him, was something that Jiishita hated to see in her. There weren't too many things that shook her up anymore, and when she told him that Yamazaki Ren and Rei had been viciously killed by their father was something that Jiishita hadn't thought would ever happen. Rei and Ren together were so cunning and resourceful.
When he entered the room, he wasn't surprised to see Tomo crying. Chikara was there, probably because she didn't feel like leaving Tomo. Jiishita was honored that he would be invited to anything involving the rest of the Kings, but wasn't sure what to say or do in Tomo's presence.

Sanada Tomoyo was ignoring her tears, even if they continued to fall.
"Stay," she said to Kojiro, to enforce Chikara's point. She was not in the mood to handle a king skipping out on the meeting. "You can never be too busy to service your Kingdom and your subjects." Looking around, she saw that everyone who was supposed to be present indeed was, although they seemed to be short quite a few number of Kings. There were only three besides herself, and two that would be considered Elders if anything else. Something had to change here.
"The first order of business, although I will relinquish the stand to Chikara here, is the death of both Yamazaki Rei and Ren, the Rai-ou, King of the Fifth Layer and my closest friend and confidant, as well as her brother, both my husband and the father of my child. It is for their deaths that I shed tears today. I was not present at their time of death, but Chikara was, which is why I requested her permission here at this meeting, to provide the details to this events as they were relayed to me."

Ayaka took a seat silently as she heard the words release from her Bosses mouth. There was almost a stinging feeling that Ayaka felt on her neck when the words death and Ren. Though she didn't really knew any of them as well, she felt sad for Tomoyo who had to bear this pain pretty much alone. That and the fact that she had a child.
Taking a blue and silver note pad out of her right pants pocket along with a simple black pen, she waited to hear what Tomoyo had to say about this resent development.

Migoto found himself rocking a small Seraph in his arms, the prince of Hell and Tomo's youngest child Rakeru. There he sat in the room that suddenly began to fill with Hell's most illustrious citizens, Sanada Tomo's Kings and and trusted inner circle. Among all these people Migoto felt small and out of place, as he was used to the privacy and informal atmosphere of Tomo's throne room, content with being a bard or jester or both at the same time depending on the situation. But here he felt powerless, unable to stop the flow of tears from his king, whom he had come to cherish for both her kindness and sincerity, taking him in when he had nowhere to go.
Migoto put on a brave face, acknowledging everyone as they came into the room with a smiling nod, trying not to be loud as to wake the baby. When the youngest of the Kings Kojiro came into the room, treating the meeting as a sort of inconvenience, much to the chagrin of the other people there who took to reprimanding him verbally. Tomo's tears continued to flow, even as she called the meeting to order, and despite how much he would have preferred to cheer Tomo up with his own brand of comfort, he knew his role would be one of silent support. Looking at Tomo's sadness, Migoto reflect upon his own lost love, Sara, and understood that despite the pain that wracked her soul, Tomo unlike him was to strong to let this hinder her from handling her duties as ruler of her realm, something he respected about her more than anything else.
Looking over to Ayaka, Migoto flashed a quick smile and winked at his friend, attempting to cheer himself up and break the veil of sadness he found himself in as he empathized with Tomo.

Tomo continued her speech. "From what I have been told, Yamazaki Rei and Ren left so that they could challenge their family in a vote pertaining to whether or not Ren would be mandated to resume the position of being the Head of family despite the fact that he had fallen. Their father killed them." Her voice began to lose its professionalism, and she found herself unable too continue talking about Ren in such an official manner.
Taking a deep breath, she changed the subject. "But this meeting is to address the absence of Kings in Hell. There aren't very many of us, and I know that Heaven is building its forces and we must prepare. To help remedy this, we have a new King. He should be here any moment to introduce himself."
She took a deep breath not even bothering to be annoyed because he wasn't here now. There were other things to take care of. "Another problem that we must remedy is our security. I must tell you, as you King, that you all are letting things slip. I have been informed twice recently of intruders. One of them is imprisoned in my castle, and the other one is a Fallen comrade turned enemy. The alias that he is using is Tai. I advise you all to look out for him. I am telling all of you that our security needs to be tightened. Take all liberties to secure your layers. With Heaven and another force of opposition we need to be ready. Yomi is still developing military technology despite her injuries. Any questions so far?"

Verge often found it amazing, how flesh is susceptible to heat, pressure, pleasure, and like sensations, yet what isn't crashed up against it goes virtually ignored. He had stood throughout the entirety of Tomo's speech without being noticed. As always, Verge would seek to correct this mistake.
"Immortals, the unchanging, the unthinking, metaphysical juggernauts that rule the realms without regard for anything other than their own egos and identities," he began.
"Beings, that ultimately never die, rule the boundaries restricting the dead and the deathly. Does that seem right to you? None of you will know what it means to exist outside of flesh, to have to carve out your existence with the scraps of energy the realms offer as solace to new dead or infirm. None of you have the drive, the will to live outside of the confirmation of your blatant arrogance. Therefore, my fealty will not be wasted upon any of you. My allegiance is to my duty. My constancy is my reign. I am Gatekeeper, and King of the First Layer of Hell. I am Randall Verge," he declared, eager to see the reactions to his monologue play over their faces.
He had truly missed being around corpses.

Ayaka heard the words that Tomoyo said and they were true. She thought back to when Migoto, first showed up to her place of business unannounced. Although he meant no harm, it was a prime example of how her own surroundings were unsafe to this point.
She could have a 'Shoko' moment at anytime. Anyone can.
"Is there anyway we could help you Yomi?" Ayaka asked as she looked in her direction, "if you need any help, you should ask us..." she trailed off to silence as she heard the foot steps and the voice of an unknown person in front of her. Hearing those words only made her angry and she was close to telling this person off if it wasn't for the fact that she was in front on Tomoyo herself. She pushed her anger aside and turn her gaze toward her boss.
"Is this the person you were speaking of?"

Kojiro scowled at this new fag talking. He had had enough. This shit was pissing him off. He had better things to do than listen to this bullshit. He was trying to look after himself, and better his own strength, so that he wouldn't end up like bondage bitch over there.
"You know what Ive had enough of this shit........" Kojiro said standing up, his eyes showing just how deep his frustration was.
"Boss, what the fuck dude, so you mean to tell me all we have to defend this shit," Kojiro said motioning to the castle and everything around him.
"Is Me, this fucker who's too scared to even show his damned face," Kojiro said motioning in the general direction of Verge.
"This Singing, frost-bitten, dragon rape victim over here." kojiro said motioning to Yomi.
"A fucking married couple who took turns allowing the fuckin' frost-bitten, Dragon cock to be inserted up their asses," Kojiro said motioning to Jishita and Chikara.
"Tits, (no offense Tits) and Blues over here" Kojiro said motioning to Ayaka and Migoto.
"If you ask me, all you REALLY have, is me, Blues, and Tits over here (no offense Tits). 'Cause we're the only ones, who managed to NOT have our asses beat by the SAME FUCKING DRAGON." Kojiro said angrily.
"This Fucking guy, beat the fucking Choir Director over here, at home, in her own fucking city! Boss, I respect your decisions and stuff, but What the fuck....Seriously? What the fuck?" Kojiro said glaring at Yomi.
"Lets not even start with these two bitches." Kojiro said pointing at the married bitches.
"Fucking TWO against ONE. I mean, I dunno how Dragon math works, but that usually equals some type of victory." Kojiro said now walking around the room.
"Oh oh My bad, he had two fucking dogs with 'I'm. This shits ridiculous. I mean seriously boss.....Maybe we should ummm...you know...get the fucking dragon to help us." Kojiro said now leaning up against the wall.
Kojiro took a deep Breath it was time for round two.
"OK, now that that worthless shit has been addressed, lets talk about you Boss." kojiro said looking at the Tomo.
" I mean this is gonna sound a little condescending, I mean it is and I'm sorry, but fuck it, I'm sorry." Kojiro said with a mighty shrug of his shoulders.
"You're here, crying, cause Ren, your husband (whatever the fuck that means) is dead, and Rei, your best friend is dead. Now, I hate to be the one to say this," Kojiro said pounding the wall with his fist, a bit of debris falling from the ceiling. "We fucking kill people for a living. Now in that profession you discover at a young age, that people that you love die all the fucking time when you don't want them too, but you don't cry....ummm That long (I'm trying to be a tad bit sensitive), you go out, and you kill the mother fucker who did it. that way people learn not to kill those you care about, so what you need to do, is change forms and man up."
"Now as far as those two go, When you and I fought together for the very first time, when worthless ass Shoke-Shoke tried to "take back his throne cause its his", I noticed that Ren stood there while I beat the shit out of, that Fae bitch, who was on his team. That faggot proved how great he was in that instance. Then he left Blues here in charge of being his Baby's daddy." Kojiro said glaring at Tomo.
"Now maybe I'm wrong, but its gonna be hard as fuck to explain why this little dude's Daddy is fuckin' blue."
"I know, that sometimes girls need attention and stuff, so you go out with them and ummmm......you know do normal stuff with 'em. Well he left you out here crying alone and shit, and it kinda pissed me off. Blues had to feel in for temporary husband duty or whatever. (Good job by the way Blues." Kojiro giving Migoto a smirk.
"So far only thing I can say about Rei, is When we were fighting that time, She fucking attacked the weakest person there. A fucking starving vamp-bitch. I seriously could have big-bad-wolfed that bitch." Kojiro shrugged and sighed heavily.
"In conclusion, Everyone here but the newest people got their ass raped by the same dragon...both fucking parties had the advantage. Boss help these poor fags."
"Boss quit cryin' it lowers morale and shit."
"And Blues Good job lookin' out for the Boss and shit. Oh and the Kid."
"K. I'm done." Kojiro walked back to his seat and sat down crossing his legs.

Post by Sanada Tomo on Dec 5, 2008 14:13:43 GMT -4
Tomoyo was honestly flabbergasted. Of all the years that she had spent as the High King of Hell, no one--not even a single being in Heaven--had insulted so many people that she loved, cared for and worked with in one breath like Kojiro just had. And even more so, Kojiro's insults became worse everytime he moved his lips to speak another word.
He managed to call everyone in the room out of their name, even Ayaka, who had done nothing. And Tomoyo did not take kindly to bullies, nor did she take kindly to ridicule. He insulted the newest King in a way that had never been done in the history of her reign, and he mocked Jiishita and Chikara and Yomi, three seasoned but handicapped beings for not being able to defeat a Dragon.
And Ren. And Migoto. And her child.
Tomoyo would only go so far as to recall that he mentioned her late husband, the seemingly only kind Djinni in her ranks of house guests, and her son. If she thought about what he said about any of them, she knew she would truly lose reign of her emotions. She remembered what such a thing had done to Chiyo--Tomoyo would not let that happen to herself.
When Kojiro sat down and crossed his legs, Tomoyo pre-emptively threw up her right hand in Yomi and Chikara's direction to stop either of them from attacking Kojiro.
Simultaneously, however, every shadow in the room, and in every corridor and wall near or connected the room shot toward Kojiro, pushing to the wall behind him with the force of a heavy hammer. It was with the most amount of restraint that she had that she could not stop herself from swinging a backhand at his face.
Her tears had stopped, and after swinging she wiped away what remained on her face.
"How dare you speak to me like that? How dare you speak to you comrades like that?" She glared sternly at Kojiro, her eyes seeming to burn into his soul. "You are allowed to have an opinion, but you will never express yourself again like that in my presence. NEVER!" She took a sharp breath. "I don't care what you think about matters that I did not ask your opinion on. I didn't ask what you thought! You show up to my meeting, ask to skip it when there is important information for you to be told and for your to pay attention to, and then you insult every person in this room when you have never even encountered a dragon in your puny, mayfly span of a life? You disgust me."
But Tomoyo did not stop, she continued. She had accepted this sort of behavior from Kojiro before, because it was passive and he had not directly insulted anyone, but in one fell swoop, he had crossed the line and jumped off of the cliff all at the same time.
"What is it exactly, Kojiro, that you have done for your layer? You have constructed a pretty, one tower fortress in which you fought a fangirl--a Human, no less. You fought The Ishii Shoko with my help, and you return the favor by heckling your fellow kings. Verge will work to re-establish the front line of Hell; Ayaka is organizing her layer and assigning actually duties to the people; Rei was organizing our army and producing battle strategies that could be used with our current and developing technologies; Yomi was training them as well as helping to develop my battle devices, and attempting to ward off a Dragon after either my head or my child and what were you doing? Jiishita and Chikara managed to warn me about the possibility of attack, and they do not even have any obligation as Kings! My own daughter, a mere youkai, even managed to defend my crown in my absence of having a child. What have you done, exactly, Kojiro, that warrants you to say all of these things?
"You haven't even fought a Dragon, and yet you ridicule two choirless angels for not defeating one? How many Dragons' heads or tails do you have on the mantle in your home, Kojiro? How many? And Migoto? You have never even met him and yet you do not care enough to get to know his proper name. No, Kojiro cannot just sit in a meeting and do what he is told, despite the fact that I allow you to attend to your own personal endeavors outside of duties, tasks and meetings that I specifically request your presence in?
"It seems to me, Kojiro, that you are the only being here who does not have their priorities in the right place. You, the only one who has criticized without offering a solution for what has gone wrong."
Tomoyo glanced around the room at everyone there. She saw those who, despite what Kojiro wanted to say about power levels, were more skilled or were becoming more skilled than Kojiro himself. And in addition to that, they cared about the citizens of Hell that they were serving--even those in the room who weren't Kings. When she turned her narrowed eyes back to Kojiro, she could see none of that. There was simply a Demon who was here for his own personal gain.
Fighting the urge to crush him into nothingness, she said, taking half a step back, "Your Kingship is here by suspended until further notice. You won't be needing it, as you will be completing a task for me to regain it. Since two against one should equal some type of victory, surely you will have no problem taking an injured, beaten Dragon to the Mythical Realm. When you are done with that, Kojiro, you will track down one of the three rebels and kill them. You'll be bringing me evidence of their death. Then you can return and reclaim your crown." Finding that punishment sufficient, she took two more steps back, although she didn't lessen any of the magic that she had used.
Ignoring everyone else in the room, she continued. "If you return prematurely, Kojiro, you will be outlawed from Hell for the rest of your fucking existence; make sure you take any important belongings with you before your go. You disappoint me, Kojiro. I expected better from you." And it was true. She had at the very least expected a rudimentary respect for one's fellow Kings--at least as far as the meetings went. She had dealt with Kings who were mortal enemies who knew to tone that shit down in her presence. They were all working toward the same goal, not trying to tear each other down.
"And if I hear or see any mention of my late husband or child other than a slight bow, wave or point from you, Kojiro, I will hunt you down and I will tear you to ribbons myself. If you know what's good for you, you'll wait in my throne room until this meeting is finished and I can deliver the Dragon to you. Otherwise, you can leave and never come back. Make a decision. Now."

Kojiro smirked at the attack. He looked at all the shadows hurtling to wards him and then sighed. This was fucking ridiculous. Moving so quickly from the writhing shadows, that for ten seconds it appeared as if Kojiro had still been in his chair with his legs crossed, leaving that image to harmlessly passed through by the mass of shadows. This maneuver placed him on the ceiling directly above the Boss. It was obvious the Boss wasn't listening to a thing he said. Even though it was rather crude.....Kojiro didn't talk shit to anyone who didn't do anything. Kojiro looked at Migoto. He didn't insult the guy at all in fact he praised what he was doing, and told him to keep it up. Blues had been the only one helping the boss out and to that end he was grateful. It wasn't everyday that someone decided to help someone as cold blooded as his Boss. "I ain't stupid, " Kojiro said after politely calling out to the assemblage of Kings below and waving so that they could see that he was now on the ceiling. "So of course I take up the challenge. I think it'll be kinda fun actually." "Oh yeah, and ummm...Since you said I haven't done anything, allow me to point out what I haven't been doing." Kojiro jumped down from the ceiling and stood right next to the his Boss. He snapped his fingers and Apollo appeared next to him. handing him a small device which he set in the middle of the table for everyone to see. Pressing a button on the back of his ear, A holographic presentation popped up, and instead of his usual leather coat and black parachute pants, Kojiro now wore a very classic all black Businessman-like suit. A small metal pointer slid from the cuff of his suit and after extending it he pointed at the screen. It showed the progress of his Elemental Realm project: It had been completed. "While everyone assumed I was sitting on my ass, I've been doing three things. The first one was probably the easiest thing to do strangely enough. I found away to break into that fuckin' Elemental shit. After I leave here I'll be going there to pick somethin' up and seal that shit away again." Kojiro said pushing the button again. The next thing that popped up was the mortal realm with thousands of tiny pictures on it. Kojiro had every place that could be bugged bugged. he smirked and pointed to Exodus one of the Boss's contacts in the mortal realm. Moving his pointer up a bit, he pointed at the small footage of the Elusive Three Rebels, sitting down discussing something. "You see, when people think I'm doing nothing shits getting done all the time. I know when you fags are naughty and I even know when you've fuckin' been nice. I should also tell you boss, that one fucker you talk to at the cafe in France, ummmm Yeah....." Kojiro said pulling from his jacket a small palm pilot and sitting it in front of Tomoyo. "In there is what this fag was gonna give to the Heavenly Bitches. Once again while I was doing nothing, I managed to gain damn near complete surveillance of the Mortal Realm, and all the contacts YOU thought you had helping you I managed to weed a good portion of them out. I still have work to do though, so I ain't dont yet. " Kojiro dusted off his shoulders and continued on pushing the same button behind his ear. This time what would possibly be unfamiliar to everyone else came up: This was just one city on Kojiro's Layer, the capital city of Gardana. It took a few months to convert to city from Medieval bullshit to this fine Masterpiece but It did alot of to raise Morale as well as give him some better lodgings. "You see that big building alllllllll The way in the back?" Kojiro asked lookinga round at everyone in the room. "Yeah thats what my castle is now. Oh and the City's name is Gardana. Everyone Update your shit. as you can see boss everything is better in the Home country now that I'm in charge of it. Everyone is monitored and at the same time, everyone is happy." Kojiro snapped his fingers and Everything disappeared. He was also in his regular clothes again. He stood back up against the wall. he looked at everyone and then looked back at his Boss. "Now don't get me wrong, I didn't show any of this shit to try to make everything I just said better, I meant what I said.....Everyone word of it. I dont think you'd woulda hired me Boss, if I was any other way. If you want me to go take dragons home and kill rebelling little bitches.....Sure why not.....If thats what it takes I'll do it no problem." Kojiro then stood up off of the wall and looked Tomo square in the eye. " Thats what the fuck I've done."

Ayaka sat silently as she saw Tomoyo hand out punishment to her fellow King. it only brought back memories of her own punishment that she received from her boss long ago for letting Shoko attack her old realm. It made her smirk.
He got the lucky end of the stick, she thought, He is very lucky...
Then it came to her; an idea that would very much benefit herself for the time being. it was no surprise that many did not like her, even before the whole Shoko fiasco, but this could bring at least one person on her side. Even if it meant forming an unlikely Duo.
But that leaves only one other problem: Who would watch her realm while this takes place. She glanced around the room only once to find some one to cover for her.
Migo.
Clearing her throat to grab everyones attention, she said as sweet as she could be
"I would like to accompany Kojiro on this mission. I know this is punishment for his wrong doing but lets face it, he is taking a Dragon to the Mythical Realm and he is going to need back up. Not only that but someone needs to keep a eye on him to make sure the job is done. If you let me go with him, I would like to have Migo, I'm sorry, Migoto, hold down the fort as his first duty as my assistant." She bowed and held her place as she awaited an answer.

Migoto watched as tensions flared in the rooms, people rassing their voices after the youth king's comments did nothig but rouse the anger in Tomo, causing her to raise her voice, which in turn caused the baby to stir. Migoto smiled as he heard the praises he was given by Kojiro, and although he would not have voiced his feelings on these delicate situations to Tomo in such a brazzen manner, Migoto could only wonder how everyone else felt in the room, the heartbeats of everyone combined to sporadic to tell.
As Tomo and Kojiro went back and forth, Ayaka stood up and proposed that she accompany Kojiro in his task assigned to him by an angered Tomo, now concerned that his new friend would care to partake in such a dangerous mission, their captive being a dangerous individual who had established himself as a threat to everyone in Hell having defeated Yomi, as well as the two elder Celestials who were prensent.
After Ayaka had made her intent known, Migoto stood, still holding the baby Rakeru, and looked over to Ayaka. "Umm... I'll help out in any way I can Aya my dear, as long as Tomo doesn't need me here. You won't mind me gone will you Tomo." Migoto said, trying not to sound overly enthused at the prospect of working, but making the attempt to be helpful to his fellow Hellion beings. Still rocking the baby, Migoto looked at Tomo, smiling to try and sooth her back to a calmer state, a talent he hoped would prevail here today.

Post by Uesugi Yomi on Dec 8, 2008 14:11:49 GMT -4
Yomi huffed. Tomoyo was just in a bitchy move. While no one had ever in the history of her and Tomoyo's reign had ever spoken like that during a meeting, Yomi knew for a fact that Kings of the past had said worse about the other Kings that were being worked with. That being said, it was no excuse for Kojiro to erupt in such a way. It was unprofessional, and considering Tomoyo's unstable state, there was no reason why anyone should speak to her like that. She was actually surprised that a half-assed attempt at restraining Kojiro was all that Tomoyo did. She knew people who had gotten worse for speaking out of line.
In retrospect, though, there was nothing that Yomi was willing to deny. This was a matter of principle rather than personal offense, obviously, and with that in consideration she couldn't refute the things that Kojiro had said. She had earned a draw after all of her fighting with Ilreg, which was a loss as far as she was concerned. Now she was sitting here with a hole where her stomach should be, and nothing to show for it. In addition to all of the wounds that she received, Ilreg had to be taken in by Tomoyo. Yomi wasn't able to do it herself. As far as Jiishita and Chikara went, they were failures because they couldn't defend themselves properly. They were their own weaknesses. Yomi supposed that this was okay as long as they were okay with it. She really didn't give a fuck about them in the first place.
Everything else that Kojiro said was of little consequence. Personally, Yomi was glad that the bitch Rei was dead. She didn't do anything but pretend to be a strategist. She was a child that was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and therefore got everything that she wanted. Tomoyo didn't ask very much from her Kings and she took advantage of that. Tomoyo wasn't always a great leader all the time, but Rei was just a freeloader. Ding dong that fucking bitch is dead.
Yomi would never say that to Tomoyo's face, though. Not without wanting to die.
So far as the child went...well, it was a child. It hadn't done anything.
All of that applied to Kojiro comments, it didn't change the fact that Tomoyo was right about at least one thing; Kojiro would get his face handed to him by a Dragon. Yomi couldn't match one in her new body--she hadn't learned very many things with the body that she had now, aside from conditioning it to handle poisons. Other than that, was dealing with skill that could not be executed properly with her body. That was her fault. When she recovered, she would train harder.
As for the shit that Kojiro was claiming to do now, Yomi simply chuckled at the display. Put a wolf in sheep's clothing and it was still a wolf. As awkward as ever in a fluffy white wool suit. That's exactly what this motherfucker was doing. Kojiro in a suit, trying to smooth down all of his assholery for a presentation was preposterous. No one was going to take him seriously now. Everyone in the room had been in constant correspondence with Tomoyo since their Kingship began. Yomi had all but forgotten that Kojiro was a king, being as absent as he always was. Hiw words meant nothing. If those accomplishments were really worth something, he would have presented them to Tomoyo when he started them.
Everything that happened after Kojiro finished speaking meant nothing to her; now that Tomoyo was insulted Yomi just wanted to get back to work. All of the construction was almost done in her realm and she had to figure out how she was going to work on her new job as the Hellion Army's strategist, a job that she was sure she would complete better than Rei, not relying on magic to solve every problem.

Verge watched as the flesh named Kojiro made an ass of himself in some vain attempt at giving advice. Honestly, it probably would've been accepted with more welcome had he not have tried to give himself accolades throughout the monologue. Nonetheless, it was interesting. In mere moments, he had been proven correct in his estimation of the Hell Kings. Egos are so expensive, he thought to himself.
Already, a Hell King had virtually defected to soothe his own ego.
"I would like to get started on my assignment if it is all the same to you, Tomo," he spoke. "Or is there something more to deal with in this meeting?"
He needed to return to the first layer. There was work to be done in reshaping the realm, as well as fortifying the gate. If Heaven had decided to march, there would have been no stopping the siege, even with the abundance of thermal energy released from the battles. Well, at least, there won't be a lack of amusement once this meeting starts moving again. Who knows what might happen next, he thought.

Tomoyo waited for Kojiro to exit the room, as she had demanded, and sighed. "Considering Kojiro's behavior, I would like for you to stay to be caught up with the current information. In addition to the incident that happened with Ilreg and Yomi, there has also been activity with Arashi that requires our immediate attention. Apparently, he's responsible for the destruction of the second layer of Heaven that all of the Uprights have been complaining about... I have tried to take him under my wing, because he has always given me a funny feeling, but I don't know. Now that he's done this, I can't forgive him. To do that, I would be compromising the possibility ot peace between Heaven and Hell. That's what I work for. That's what my mission is, and I will not give it up just because of him, even if he is one of my own. He chose to kill all of those angels. Not me. Not anyone else. In short, if you see him anywhere--Hell, or the Mortal Realm--kill him on sight. No exceptions. If you see him and he gets away, report it to me. No exceptions. We are officially on high alert. If you withold any information from me or I discover that there was a delay in your provision of information your authority as King will be suspended and you will be under personal investigation by myself and my staff. I will not have another Kamori Kasumi on my hands. I refuse to.
"Verge, that means that despite the fact that you've only just been granted your reign as King, you have to start your job doing it twice as well as normal. I want everything from every one of you set up as best as possible. Because Kojiro and Ayaka will be gone on their mission, even though I actually need Ayaka here, I shall appoint Chikara to rule temporarily in Ayaka's place, and I will appoint Jiishita to the Fifth Layer as the new King. I have to arrange a ceremony and whatnot, but there is no time at the moment and I will have to do it later, when things settle down. Eventually, when you all have your layers organized and guarded, I would like to send some of you out on mission to search for him.
"My daughter was the last person to come in contact with him, and his sprite did not provide his whereabouts. I know because of paperwork directly handed into me by Yomi that he has property in the sixth layer of Hell because his father was a Djinni. Seize everything that has his name on it. If you find anything interesting, report it to me. Likewise, I willl report to you if I find anything. Any questions about that?"
