Walking the path to a remote mountain village, we find Kaosu deep in thought. Within the deep recesses of his mind he begins to have joyful visions of his past with his mother and father playing in the Mythical realm. The images he sees give him a sort of tranquility and ease through these hard times. Of course his peace is always short lived as it will always be denied by the less happy and upbeat images of his past.
As he walks deeper into the mountain path his mind begins to drift from his happy days as a child with his parents to the reality of his dark situation. As he sees the images of his mother and father playing with him on a sun filled day in his home land he sees the sky turn black and thunderous with bolts of red lightning pouring from the sky. His parents protect him from the lightning by holding him tightly in between them. Even in the face of something so terrible Kaosu still does not flinch or fear because he has the love and protection of his two parents present. This scene of affection was cut short when his vision jumped forward in time flashing to the time of his mother’s untimely death at the hands of the very man who swore to protect her, his father.
Standing over the body of Kaosu’s mother his father stands laughing and pointing with his sword as Kaosu lays on the ground in horrific pain and agony inflicted upon him by his on creator. As Kaosu got further along the path into the mountain and his images became more vivid, he began to break out in a cold sweat and his stomach started to churn. Within moments he found himself racked with pain as he feel to his knees, throwing up ample amounts of blood as he tilted his head toward to ground.
From within his mind he began to here a familiar and horrid voice call out to him.
“Let me free from my imprisonment boy, you know you want to feel my power once again. You know you want the rush of my presence. There is no use fighting me, we are becoming one with one another. Without me you wouldn’t be whole, now we wouldn’t want to split up such a goo team now would we, now be a good boy and let out if not just for a little while”. The sadistic voice echoed in his mind, the images he once saw now replaced by the image of a dark knight clad in black tendrils of chaos.
It was clear now who the voice was, it was the sprite of chaos residing within his body. It was the infernal creature that awakened his terrible power as what his mother’s friend told him so long ago was known as the Serei. A power that has done nothing for him but make his very existence more and ore painful with every passing day. As he listens to the words of the one he calls the knight, Kaosu begins to feel his mind slip away from him and his body begin to tremble. The power of the spirit of terror was trying to force its way out and take control of him.
Trying to regain composure of himself he tries to rise back up to his feet but the pain is to great for him to bear as he stagers into a near by rock pillar with such force he shakes its very foundation.
“I will never let you, a vile creature of my own darkness and terror take me as your own, I will destroy this body myself before I let that happen”, Kaosu says as he calls forth the aid of his Law sprite Norou to aid him in suppressing the chaos and terror within him.
Concentrating everything ounce of energy he had left he had left, Kaosu and Norou stopped the Knight from taking him again. Now lying on the path of the mountain exhausted and bloody, He uses what little energy he has left to get Norou to heal his wounds some what and mend his clothing to erase the blood stains from his White cloak. Doing so he then decides to just stay seated at the base of a large rock for a while to restore his energy and let his natural healing factor do the rest. Using his stealth ability his body turns transparent to make him undetectable while he lies there.
Little does he know he was being watched the whole time.
